Well, well, well.
[John Burke is] the one-time confidante and staffer to Janet Napolitano, key
contributor to drafting the first federal “assault weapon” ban
legislation, and White House Senior Policy Analyst in the Clinton
administration...
The Inspector General of the DOJ issued a report.
The report, focusing on improper actions conducted by Burke to leak information with the intent of undermining the credibility of Fast and Furious whistleblower John Dodson, is unequivocal in its assessment of his professional actions under color of authority.
“We found Burke’s conduct in disclosing the Dodson memorandum to be
inappropriate for a Department employee and wholly unbefitting a U.S.
Attorney,” it concludes.
But that's not all.
“We are referring to [the Office of Professional Responsibility] our
finding that Burke violated Department policy in disclosing the Dodson
memorandum to a member of the media for a determination of whether
Burke’s conduct violated the Rules of Professional Conduct for the state
bars in which Burke is a member,” it states.
Think that was the first and only time Burke pulled this crap?
Think again.
