To deal with this flaw, the Internal Revenue Service (IRS) on May 24 simply issued a regulation effectively rewriting the law that would allow the federal government to fund the exchanges. Per Cannon, “With the stroke of [a] pen, the IRS (1) stripped states of the power Congress gave them to shield employers from that $2,000 per-worker tax, (2) imposed that illegal tax on employers whom Congress exempted, and (3) issued up to $800 billion of tax credits and direct subsidies to private health insurance companies — without any congressional authorization whatsoever.”...

The link was cute but made a very bad assumption. If you honestly think that the 3/327 101st or 1/10 4ID is going to fire upon their fellow citizens defending their homes then you are dumber than you seem.

Defending their homes? You must have a different sense of what constitutes revolution. If you think you can "overthrow tyranny" by holing up in your basement with 10,000 rounds of ammo, go for it. Hope you've laid in enough squirrel jerky for the duration.
Jim, try reading a book. A revolution is primarily fought by the property owners. The militia itself acts as the mobile units with greater military command structure.
The American revolution was a good example, any attempt by an Army to move through a settled population would meet with local resistance. Assuming the Army conquered the resistance, the survivors would join the militia. Damned if you do and damned if you don't for the conquering Army.
Now to apply this to present situations. If you believe that Dad is forseeing armies of joe six packs marching on DC with guns then you are just silly. But picture that farmer or factory owner who has had too much and gets his neighbors to join. Now multiply by a thousand.
Will it happen, probably not. Who would win? Short term is police forces with federal agencies, but they would not bring in national guard troops or active duty soldiers because they know the danger of rebellion spreading through a professional military.
