In the House races, where women have sided with Democrats by an average of nine points since 1976, they are now about evenly split between Democrats and Republicans, in the latest Washington Post-ABC News poll. That is a sharp drop-off from just four years ago, when women chose Democrats by a large 12-point margin and put them in the majority.
Got that? White females are departing the (D) shores.
Now this:
The state’s top election official is now projecting that 50% of Wisconsin’s voting-age adults will turn out to vote on Nov. 2.
That would be one of the highest mid-term turnouts in recent decades, but slightly lower than 2006, when 50.9 of voting-age adults went to the polls.
"Turnout" generally means (D) victories. This year, that will change.
