Murder and the Left's Case of Projection

When you read this morning's blogs, specifically Jessica's and Clayton's, and analyze what these specific entries point out, and then combine that with the obsessive manias over Gitmo, Haditha, "ecology," "The Culture of Corruption," "gun control" and "...Save Just One Child" (in all its forms), it's more and more obvious that the disorder underpinning all this crap is Projection. It's not only the most likely synthesis--it is the ONLY one which makes sense.

Psychological projection (or projection bias) is a defence mechanism in which one attributes ("projects") to others, one’s own unacceptable or unwanted thoughts or/and emotions.

Think about it. In the last 40 years, the Left's major victories have been victories against life--Roe v. Wade, "assisted suicide," and the murder of Terri Schiavo. There have been other similar "victories" in Western Europe. Related, directly or indirectly, are such things as the Left's whitewash/defense of the Empire of Evil, (beginning with the NYTimes' unforgivable lying about the Stalin regime), and Margaret Sanger's open adoration of Hitler's 'eugenics' program.

Supporting 'victories' have been won against the institution of the family, which by no co-incidence is the pre-eminent vehicle for generation and protection of life.

The successful assault on natural law's first right (the right to life,) has evidently produced a backlash guilt complex. While using positive-law machinations and perversions to achieve victories over life, the Left's inborn still, small voice has not been vanquished.

Instead, that voice has compelled them to "project" their guilt on the majority of the population. They invent phantasms: US trained military men who wantonly kill civilians or torture prisoners, parents who abuse their children by malnutrition, and ordinary people who, if allowed to be armed, assault and kill others over fender-benders.

The Left assesses the license they have arrogated to themselves--the license to "murders of convenience," and project that licentiousness to the majority of the population. All the while, they claim the moral high ground of "compassion," and clutter the landscape of law with inanities--sin-taxes, denuded playgrounds, car seats, and banning Pepsi and tobacco.

Some "compassion."
