It would be an understatement to suggest that Sam Faddis intensely dislikes John Brennan--Obama's CIA Director. From the writing here, the better phrase would be 'intensely hates' Brennan.
Remember that Brennan said he voted for the Communist candidate back in the day, and that he worked for GWBush (the Dumber) as Director, Counter-Terrorism Center. As we all know, Bush and his Daddy are Globalist Scum extraordinaire.

Now, onto other matters. Let’s break down these quotations from the source.

Suppose this is true. Trump has the power and authority to shut it down. Gabbard certainly could have authorized it as well when she was in charge. Funding is cut off. Those believed to be involved directly and indirectly are brought before Congress for hearings, at worst, or are immediately terminated from their position, at best. This is rooting out the “deep state”.
It’s as if the author of the piece is throwing up his hands and saying nothing can be done about it. To the contrary, these people can be removed and fired. “The Swamp” is only “winning” since Trump seems to be complicit—no thanks to Bibi and Israel—not because he is powerless to intervene as the author desperately tries to lead the reader to believe.
So AmericaFirst under Trump is a mirage not because he cannot destroy the deep state, but because he chooses not to destroy it. And Gabbard, being a woman, did t have the required chutzpah to make it her mission before resigning to hold the deep state accountable. Strong words, but no action.

The CIA is no longer controlled by Brennan. He is the convenient scapegoat. John Ratcliffe is in charge now. He has access to all current spy campaigns and files. He has the authority to shut it all down. And Hegseth as DS can shutter its own secret foreign plots and stop the flow of money to those operations. Again, pretty simple. They are both in charge.

So, the author of the piece is essentially passing the buck. It is glossing over the fact that Trump, Radcliffe, and Hegseth can impose sweeping reforms to choke the deep state to death. Just like Trump can stop the flow of money to Israel.
It can easily be done. No excuses needed.
