The P.I. Lawyer Wrote This Toyota Story

Most of you 14 readers know that Toyota has a hydrogen-powered car available.  It is sold overseas, and on a very limited basis in the USA, specifically California.

As you read the linked article, notice how the P.I. (ambulance-chaser) "shaped" (wrote) the story.

When you read words like "many" [buyers complain] you know that the actual number is.......very small, indeed.

When you read that "Toyota lied" [about the car's features] you know that the buyers are Virtue Signalers who did not listen to the sales guy, or chose to "forget" what they were told AND SHOULD HAVE READ in the Owner's Manual.

When you see alleged hits to the buyers' (how many?? We don't know) credit score being solely due to skipping payments on the cars........well........sure...........right.  No doubt.

Didja notice the ultra-vague narrative about the $15K "cash toward fuel" vs. the "six years free fill-ups" part of the story?  Wanna bet which 'award' these buyers took?  Hmmmmm???  Think maybe their need for cash had anything to do with their "credit report" problems?   Hmmmmmm????

And what--exactly--was Toyota supposed to do about hydrogen supply-chain problems?

...It took about 3 milliseconds to pull up this review from Car & Driver.  Did the buyers try this technique for obtaining knowledge?

This provides up to 402 miles of emissions-free driving between refills, according to the EPA,...

NOT "according to Toyota."

... but the limited hydrogen refueling infrastructure...

Oh.  No ExxonMobil of Hydrogen on every corner?  Who knew??

But it does suck on acceleration and "passing pop."

Oh--by the way--there are a crap-ton of 'fueling' and 'range' problems with EV's, too.  Read any P.I.-written stories about them lately?

"News reporters" love to take phone calls from lawyers and activists.  That way, the "highly-trained professionals" don't have to actually ask questions, or hang around City Hall or the Capitol to learn about what is really going on.

Trust few of them.
