Since it's Milwaukee, "law enforcement" actually means "ICE," the outfit that's hauling rapists, murderers, and drug-dealers out of the USA. Apparently this committee values the rapists, murderers, and drug-dealers more than the rest of the citizens in SE Wisconsin.
But you knew that already.
But there's a problem.

"Many of the local chiefs have expressed concern about this, where even some have said: then we just won’t go into the parks, which is what [County Parks] Director Smith and the sheriff’s office do not want to happen, because we rely heavily on each other to keep all 160-plus parks and parkways safe," said Milwaukee County Sheriff Chief Deputy Brian Barkow....
Whoops! Whoopsie!!
So the Milwaukee County Board committee--in effect--just voted to keep Milwaukee County Parks UNSAFE.
That'll be a great tourism poster, eh?
