When Qatar offered a fitted-out 747 to the United States FREE OF CHARGE--to be the next Air Force One-- a couple of WISN-1130 'experts' (Weber was one) decreed that it would look real shady if Trump accepted the gift on behalf of the US taxpayer.
Maybe they don't know that Air Force One stays with the USA and will be available to the next few Presidents, not just Trump EDIT: NYT reports that the plane will be FREE to TAXPAYERS but turned over to the Trump Library after he exits the office.
Well, it was early yesterday morning. Maybe that's their excuse. Mondays are hard. The other possible excuse? They were reading AIPAC talking points. More on that follows:
Today the increasingly un-hinged Jay Weber decreed that the USA must stop Iran from enriching uranium by assisting Israel in doing the McCain Dance: BombBombBomb, BombBombIran.....you know the one.....
He bolstered his case by asserting that Russia is unable to assist Iran should such bombing happen and--of course--that Iran's mullahs lie all the time and never keep their promises. How much really solid intel does Jay Weber get about Russian military capabilities, especially in their back yard?
He could have mentioned that he was reading directly from an AIPAC press release, which would make him honest. Nope. (For more on the Weber asininity, see this column.)
But we don't know that Weber can actually read. He insists that Trump's budget hawk's name is "Voight" (pronounced VOYT.) But ever since Trump's first Presidency, that man's name has been "Vought" (pronounced VOTE).
Jay Weber's NeverTrump odor is becoming a stench. Is this the future of WISN?
