If the Bishops haven't already figured it out, "Catholic" Charities has become radioactive. They would do well to imitate the President and simply close it up and nail the doors shut. Let's end this Mgr. Egan/Saul Alinsky outfit which is now in proximate indirect cooperation with narcotics-, sex-, and labor- trafficking.
Let's look at a few of the comments re-posted on the linked item above:
Catholic Charities is a scam that has now been exposed. What happened to the missing children?
A very good question. Not one of the "hard-working" staff in D.C. has a clue--and if the had one, it's been shredded and tossed into the nearest landfill.
Your human trafficking operation ruined our lives for 2 years. We had to spend $2500 to break our lease to flee from our apartment of 6 years because you filled it with illegals. You are traitors to the American people...
Yes.
The government provides 80 different assistant programs from food stamps to Pell Grants for college and trade schools. If able bodied people are still receiving welfare benefits for more than 5 years, they’re not trying to better their lives, they’ve chosen to live in poverty.
Yes.
Our communities and local schools have been decimated by your human trafficking. Large drop offs into small towns lacking resources. No follow up to make sure new arrivals are integrating and learning the language. Stop profiting off human misery
I am personally aware of this. It would be a lot of fun to wear an "ICE" cap and walk through a few neighborhoods in this community which is near Waukesha.
No Catholic Cardinal in this country has the cojones to put "Catholic" Charities out of business. They're Francis-Men (or -mice). That will have to come from a coalition of Bishops who are NOT on any coastline.
Think it will happen??

USCCB collects money for ‘immigration services’ but never for ‘pro-life activities’: Michael Hichborn
https://www.lifesitenews.com/news/usccb-collects-money-for-immigration-services-but-never-for-pro-life-activities-michael-hichborn/
“The USCCB has a massive budget of around $200 million, and 90 percent (90%) of that budget went to immigration, refugee resettlement stuff,” explained Hichborn, yet only “One percent (1%) of that budget was used for pro-life activities.”
“Do you realize (that) annually the USCCB collects all kinds of money for immigrant refugee resettlement programs, and never once has it ever collected for pro-life activities?” he asked.
I haven't given to Catholic Charities in decades. It's like Notre Dame in South Bend.
Neither are Catholic but for those whose only Catholic reading is the parish bulletin they are part of their identity as a Catholic.
The St. Vincent de Paul Society is doing a lot that Catholic Charities used to do. They should be supported and encouraged NOT to change.
