Cenk Uygur for Trump (!!!)

No, Uygur is not campaigning for The Donald.  But Uygur does understand basic justice, far more than the AG of New York State.

I'm not sure it's fair to make someone put up a bond (especially of that size) before the appeal is decided. It basically means he's losing an enormous part of his assets before the case is fully resolved. Any time you're forced to sell non-liquid assets, you are likely selling at a significant discount. What if he wins the appeal? In that scenario, you made him sell his properties and lose a big chunk of his wealth - and it turned out that he was innocent. That's not fair. We can't apply the laws based on our dislike of one individual. We have to consider how it would apply to everyone.  --quoted at RedState

Residents of New York should hear the fire alarm, but the conflagration of Unhinged Trump Hate is hardly confined to New York.

The big question:  can that disease be eradicated through the ballot box or a sane judiciary?  If not.....
