Israelis Attack Christians in Israel?

Another "this may or may not be entirely true" story.

...Armed Zionist terrorists launched a “massive and coordinated physical attack” against Christian clergymen and other Christian community members in Jerusalem’s Armenian Quarter, where violent Zionists backed by Israeli law enforcement and members of the Israeli government have been attempting an ethnic cleansing to clear the way for Jewish “settlers” and business interests....

There's a press release from the Patriarchate offices.

We're sure that Fox News CNN ABC NBC CBS AP will cover it immediately.  Or not.

SEE COMBOX.  This could have been a false-flag op.

The Jerusalem Post covered it. They printed the letter and asked the police about it. The police said— trust it or not— that it was Arab Muslims with pepper spray rather than “settlers” with “nerve agents.” Now the Armenian quarter of the old city is catty-corner to the Muslim quarter, but borders the Jewish quarter. There are Jewish settlers on the Mount of Olives a mile or so away, but angry Muslims close by. Fog of war; hard to say what is true.

US Congress: ‘We Stand With Genocide’

The Biden administration in the last three months of 2023 asked Congress to give Israel an additional $14 billion in military assistance on top of the $3.8 billion the U.S. allots every year; vetoed a ceasefire in Gaza at the U.N.;  circumvented Congress to sell weapons to Israel  and deployed warships to the waters off Gaza to prevent anyone from interfering with the Israeli regime’s campaign of atrocities there.

Dead End: Israel Gets Lost in Gaza

The people who read Dad29 are, I believe, mostly individuals concerned about how our country has been drifting away from our founding values. If the whole Covid mix of bioterrorism, lies, distortions, exaggerations and tyranny didn’t cause a serious reexamination of personal beliefs, then you maybe just stick with watching CNN.

I bring this up in an Israeli conflict post, because if you are not reexamining your beliefs about the recent history of the Middle East, then maybe this is a good time. I stopped trying to read Instapundit and even Ace of Spades because of the knee jerk certainty that Islamic terrorism is bad, and thus, any and all attempts to thwart it must be good.

If only life were that simple. If you think American media has questionable credibility about climate change, sex change, the right to self defense or the right way to police criminals, then you may want to question why Israel (not Jews, but Israel) is usually portrayed in a positive light. There is mass murder going on and the world media knows it.

God Bless and Happy New Year. Mark78

Israel's Savagery Is So Shocking It's Sometimes Hard To Take In

Sometimes Israel’s crimes are so horrific that at first you don’t even understand what you’re looking at. You just stare at it trying to make sense of what you’re seeing for a bit, like you would if you suddenly saw a space alien or a leprechaun or something.
It happened to me yesterday when I was watching a Sky News report about a teenage boy who was shot by Israeli forces in Jerusalem for celebrating the release of Palestinian prisoners in the hostage negotiations with Hamas. I was watching it thinking to myself, I must be misunderstanding what I’m looking at. I know that Israel does gross things, but surely the story here isn’t that they shot a kid for being happy about something.

Then, as has happened so many times over the last two months, I kept watching and learned that yes, that is indeed what happened. The deputy mayor of Jerusalem Fleur Hassan-Nahoum is seen defending the shooting by saying “part of the deal is that there would be no celebrations for the release of attempted murderers” (this was actually not a part of the deal, it was just a decree issued by Israel’s national security minister) and claiming dishonestly that “we’re talking about the release of attempted murderers” (the vast majority have not been convicted of any crime and have been denied any due process for the accusations against them).

The band Eve6 nicely summed up what it felt like watching the clip of the deputy mayor’s comments, tweeting, “The remarkable thing about this clip is her self assurance. Like she’s supremely confident that ‘we shot the teenager because he was celebrating’ is a thing that people will find reasonable.”
