The Boy Scouts Of America released a statement in support of Black Lives Matter and now say they’ll require Eagle Scouts to earn a diversity and inclusion badge. According to the rest of their statement, they “haven’t been as brave as they should have been” following the deaths of Breonna Taylor and Ahmaud Arbery. --quoted at Vox
We know a couple of Eagles who earned their rank by being Americans with American values. Oddly enough, those values included such concepts as 'all men are created equal.' Another one, given the mention of Arbery: "Innocent until proven guilty."
BSA began its rapid slide down the tubes under the reign of Rex Tillerson, Trump's first big mistake. Nothing has changed.
