Milwaukee's Latest Money-Suck Trick

Since the City of Milwaukee's aldermen and Mayor cannot control their spending habits, they find new ways to hoover cash out of the poor slobs still residing there.

A new city fee will help to pay for street lights.

A dollar per front-foot.  Hospitals and churches are NOT exempt.

So, if a single light covers 10 properties,on both sides of the street, and average lit is 40 feet, that's $200 per light. That's a lot of electricity they are paying for, especially with energy efficient lights that are on less than a half a day.
But I suspect the lights cover more than 10 properties.
