One wonders if Tin-Pot Tony Evers will follow the new command from the Central Committee.*
Finally, after months of criticizing Trump for the same suggestion, Democrats have come round and endorsed the CDC’s recommendation that schools should reopen.
Apparently polling shows that parents (and taxpayers) are revolting and will be putting their children into private schools or home-schooling. That's a problem for Tin-Pot's only constituency (the Teachers' Union) because less kids in Teachers' Union schools means less "free money" for the teachers.
So. The orders have been sent. It's Tony's move.
*S'pose Tin-Pot got an early warning about this which is why he did not close down all the schools last week? Hmmmmmmmm.

Here's the proper context that you miss, Dad29.
Schumer, along with House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) have been locked in negotiations with the White House and Republican leadership, trying to agree on a COVID-19 economic relief package. Those talks have stalled, and **Schumer criticized Republicans for not being willing to spend enough to help the country, which he said includes funding to help schools reopen safely**.
"If we don't open up the schools, you're going to hurt the economy significantly because lots of people can't go to work," Schumer said. "Executive orders leave out schools altogether."
