That's less and less true.
Good ol' Mitt upchucked stupidity here:

Just by co-incidence, Trump ran against Romney in the 2016 primaries and whomped ol' Mitt badly, and just by co-incidence, "Nice Mitt" has been spraying bile at Trump ever since.
He also said, "If Herman Cain were on the Fed, you’d know the interest rate would soon be 9-9-9."
And as Surber points out: Romney hasn't a leg to stand on opposing Cain--who was Chair of the FRB/Kansas City for years.
