Like Wiggy, I knew and liked Steve.
Besides the accolades Wiggy bestowed, Steve was a very generous guy.
Steve knew his way around finance, not only in the typical P&L/balance-sheets, but in international markets, specifically the Far East and South America. He had knowledge that came from experience, besides the 'book-smarts' he gained at UW-Madison and Thunderbird.
But he could not overcome the Obama Depression
Steve would not approve of being called a 'victim', even though he was.
He couldn't find work.
He won't be counted as a statistic at BLS. But he--and a lot of others like him--should be.
