...House Oversight and Government Reform Chairman Darrell Issa (R-Calif.) is looking to build support for a draft contempt of Congress resolution for Attorney General Eric Holder regarding Issa’s investigation of the “Fast and Furious” gun-smuggling operation.
...Speaker John Boehner expressed support for the effort last week but stopped short of endorsing the contempt resolution, saying, “All options are on the table.”
“Chairman Issa and members of his committee are doing a good job,” the Ohio Republican said. “I’m supporting their efforts to hold those people in the Justice Department accountable.”
Behind the scenes, Boehner, Majority Leader Eric Cantor (R-Va.) and Majority Whip Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) have expressed reservations about the political impact of holding Holder in contempt.
Hundreds of dead Mexican nationals, and at least a couple of our own Border Patrol are dead due to Holder's incompetence; Holder refuses to provide the documents (which likely lead to the Oval Office); and Boehner, the spineless super-twit, worries about "Raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacism."
Bozo.

Boehner voted for TARP. He is an establishment ruling class politician and is not fit for office. The Teaparties job is not done. He is for the status quo. A vote for Boehner is a wasted vote. Retire him and send him back to run his fathers bar in Reading Ohio.
Dad,
Since your Talking about contempt for the law.......
Does Wisconsin have a problem like Florida has?

At the upcoming CA Republican Party convention. A plan, sponsored by Congressman Kevin McCarthy, has two critical components to it that are very distasteful.
The first is a requirement that before you and your fellow local state and county central committee members can caucus in a district, the 22 member CRP State Board of Directors must meet, and by a supermajority of 2/3rds vote to allow your caucus to take place. This plan is specifically designed to severely limit the number of races in which the party has a nominee going into the June balloting (even though large numbers of Democrats will be able to cross-over and vote in EVERY race in the state.
The other part of their plan, which is deeply disturbing and offensive, is a proposal that if you are the incumbent Congressman, State Senator or Assemblyman, you are automatically the Republican nominee if you are seeking re-election. Yes, you read that right - no matter what you do in office, no matter what you say, no matter how you vote, you are simply the GOP nominee. This is a very aristocratic process which makes incumbents virtual "royalty" in our party. It is no wonder that so many incumbent legislators support this plan - it is a true incumbent protection plan. No matter if you vote for higher taxes, vote to place higher taxes on the ballot, or heck, even if you were involved with a scandal of some sort, you're GOP nomination is assured.
The local legislators who are supporting this plan to disenfranchise you, are Congressman Kevin McCarthy, Senator Jean Fuller, and Assembly member Shannon Grove.

My Prediction, If John Boehner and the Republicans allow Obama and the democrats to raise the debt ceiling again, they all will be voted out of office.
