Thomas Sowell

Mined from a column spotted by Kevin:

People who are impressed by how many of Barack Obama's advisors have Ivy League degrees seem not to remember how many people with Ivy League degrees mismanaged the Vietnam war and how many people with Ivy League degrees mismanaged economic policy during the Great Depression of the 1930s.

If at first you don't succeed (at demolishing the Republic), try, try, again!

Don't be so salty. You guys has your crack to undermine the Republic, and did a damn good job of it too. Nixon, Reagan, Both Bushes. Quite a who's who of incompetence and darn right criminal behavior there.

Reagan? Really. Between him and JPII, they brought about the end of Communism in Russia.

Oh, wait...to you, that's a bad thing.

Capper never made a comment that made sense...even to him. Nixon's Enemies List, Bad. Clinton's, not so bad. Iran/Contra, Bad. Bay of Pigs, eh, not so much. Iraq, Bad. Vietnam? Nixon's fault. And Clinton's Balkans war? Totally Humanitarian. Current recession? Bushes fault. Late 70's? Not Carter's Fault.

No sense being honest.
