MPS Board to Taxpayers: "Screw YOU, Fools!"

Unbelievable.

After several hundred people showed up to protest a 16%+ tax increase, the MPS Board decided:

1) To spend all the money, anyway, and
2) To reduce the tax increase by deferring pension and debt reductions until NEXT year.

So as a State taxpayer, I won't have to take a hit until the 2009 tax year.

Wow.
