The columnist here is a retired FEEB who has a serious case of TDS. But the surveys he presents are....ahh.....interesting.......in that Chinese Curse sort of way. The good news? Violence isn't in the cards soon. (But don't let your ammo supplies run down like the Pentagon's!)
...I listened to Pape discussing his idea with Mario Nawfal yesterday. The basic idea—based, he says, on five years of research—is that approval for political violence among Americans of all political stripes has soared in the last few years. His surveys, he says, show that no less than 30% of Americans of both Left and Right approve of political violence. Not fringe types, but ordinary seeming Americans. ...
But the stats he cites in the column do not reflect "all" stripes. Instead, he cites from:
... a survey that was conducted by The Center for Strategic Politics survey on Sept. 3 and Sept. 8-10 among 683 Democratic voters nationwide.....
K. So Lefties. You know them: the Peace and Love Bunch.
...Nearly six in 10 Democrats said they would react positively if military leaders removed President Donald Trump from power, while 55% said the same about Trump dying in his sleep.
Forty-three percent said they would feel “very positive” about the military scenario, while 16% said they would feel “somewhat positive,” bringing the total positive response to 59%. Twenty-eight percent said they would feel negatively, and 13% said they would feel neither positively nor negatively. ...
IOW, 'have someone else do the dirty work--like the Generals, or God. But hey! We're fine with Trump being dead!'
Now look at the cross-tabs tables in the column. What's noticeable?
Old. White. Just like you see at those silly March-A-Rounds and Sign-Wavings.
Maybe they would pound Trump-ists with their canes? Signs? Walkers??
Violence is not the answer, of course--and based on what he presented, it won't be.

Righties, too. The Jan 6 rioters.
Yes--just like the capCops who invited them in, and the 250 FEEBS in the crowd, and the yet-unknown number of CIA operatives in the same crowd. And let's not forget the murderers: the CapCops who killed an unarmed woman and who ALSO hit a peaceful but noisy crowd with tear gas and stun guns.
That’s been debunked.
1. "CapCops who invited them in"
Assessment: Unsubstantiated / Misleading
Context: Extensive video analysis and official reviews showed that Capitol Police officers were violently overwhelmed, assaulted, and outnumbered at barrier points. While a few isolated videos showed officers standing aside or retreating after lines had already been broken, official investigations concluded this was due to tactical collapse and trying to avoid escalating violence, rather than an invitation or collusion.
2. "250 FEEBS in the crowd, and... CIA operatives"
Assessment: False
Context: The claim that hundreds of undercover FBI agents ("FEEBS") or CIA operatives orchestrated or instigated the crowd is a widely circulated conspiracy theory unsupported by evidence.
FBI: FBI Director Christopher Wray and Department of Justice officials testified under oath that federal agencies did not instigate or direct the attack. While law enforcement routinely utilizes informants in extremist groups, claims that hundreds of undercover agents acted as provocateurs have been debunked in court proceedings.
CIA: The CIA is a foreign intelligence agency with no domestic law enforcement jurisdiction, and no evidence exists connecting CIA operatives to the events of that day.
Ray Epps: Often cited in these theories, Epps was a private citizen and former Marine. The Department of Justice and the House January 6th Committee explicitly verified he was never an employee or informant for the FBI or any government agency. He was charged and convicted for his actions on January 6.
3. "The murderers: the CapCops who killed an unarmed woman"
Assessment: Legally and Factually Incorrect
Context: This refers to the fatal shooting of Ashli Babbitt.
While Babbitt was unarmed, she was part of a crowd attempting to force their way through a barricaded door leading directly into the Speaker's Lobby, where members of Congress were being evacuated by law enforcement.
Multiple independent investigations—including by the U.S. Department of Justice Civil Rights Division, federal prosecutors, and the Capitol Police Office of Professional Responsibility—cleared Lieutenant Michael Byrd of wrongdoing. They determined the officer acted lawfully in defense of human life and to prevent mob entry into the House chamber.
4. "Hit a peaceful but noisy crowd with tear gas and stun guns"
Assessment: Highly Misleading Context
Context: Law enforcement did deploy crowd-control munitions (such as tear gas, pepper spray, and flash-bangs), but court records and video evidence show these were used after the crowd broke through police perimeters, assaulted officers, and declared a civil disturbance. More than 140 police officers were injured during the clashes. The crowd was not classified as "peaceful" at the points where chemical irritants and less-lethal munitions were deployed.
Yaaaassss......testimony from notorious perjurers and NOT-so-notorious perjurers. "Tactical retreat,".....no doubt, especially that part where a peaceful clown-demonstrator was ushered into Pelosi's office.
The Byrd Rule of lethal force is markedly different from the Normie Rule, which requires "imminent danger of death or grave injury..." neither of which was present, no matter the b.s. offered in your highly-misleading series of "debunks." He committed 2nd-degree homicide.
It was a noisy and bruising demonstration. The serious violationS (plural) of the Constitutional right to a speedy trial show us that the FedGov is perfectly willing to trample all over that Constitution in order to make clear Who Is Boss.
So far, the FedGov is winning.
Further........with a guy like Brennan at the top, there can be NO DOUBT that the CIA played by the rules. NONE. Pure as the wind-driven snow.
What's sad is that you believe all that stuff, friend.
What do you think is the REAL reason that Flock cameras are simply not trusted by Americans, anyway?? Hint: it begins with "Dishonor" and ends with "able", referring to top-level LEO's (Fed and State) and their camp-followers in the ranks.
“Yaaaassss......testimony from notorious perjurers and NOT-so-notorious perjurers.”
A baseless claim.
“"Tactical retreat,".....no doubt, especially that part where a peaceful clown-demonstrator was ushered into Pelosi's office.”
The armed crowd was asked repeatedly by law enforcement to vacate the premises. They refused to adhere to the lawful command. As a result of their actions, they were arrested, charged, and prosecuted to the limit of the law. As it ought to be.
“The Byrd Rule of lethal force is markedly different from the Normie Rule, which requires "imminent danger of death or grave injury..." neither of which was present, no matter the b.s. offered in your highly-misleading series of "debunks." He committed 2nd-degree homicide.”
Nope. An armed crowd was seeking to enter a restricted area. Again, several commands to cease and desist were ignored. She chose to shimmy herself through a window knowing full well there was the possibility for lethal force to be used.
Lesson here is to not put yourself in that position.
“It was a noisy and bruising demonstration. The serious violationS (plural) of the Constitutional right to a speedy trial show us that the FedGov is perfectly willing to trample all over that Constitution in order to make clear Who Is Boss.”
The boss is the rule of law and law and order. Why do you defend the actions of a violent mob who caused significant and unjustifiable bodily harm to law enforcement?
“Further........with a guy like Brennan at the top, there can be NO DOUBT that the CIA played by the rules. NONE. Pure as the wind-driven snow.”
Your disdain for the FBI and CIA clouds your judgement.
What's sad is that you believe in conspiracy, friend.
“What do you think is the REAL reason that Flock cameras are simply not trusted by Americans, anyway??”
Trump supports it.
Let's start with this: https://x.com/Real_RobN/status/2104271020597313748
Newly hidden FBI documents released by @FBIDirectorKash
CONFIRM:
Not only did the FBI stage January 6 five months before it happened while the DNC planned to overthrow the United States government if Trump won, “Provoke a breakdown on January 6 to disrupt the proceedings and prevent the vote from going through.”
But Christopher Wray also had 274 federal agents embedded at the official proceedings of Jan. 6 and had federal agents infiltrating chat rooms months before January 6 orchestrating for the overthrow of the U.S. government.
Wray is a perjurer. Brennan is a perjurer. Their top aides-de-camp are perjurers.
Why do you support Totatlitarian perjurers?
She chose to shimmy herself through a window knowing full well there was the possibility for lethal force to be used.
Did she REALLY "know" that? Not likely. Byrd's sudden resignation after his (cooked) post-murder 'investigation' tells us that he was told to get out of Dodge; that he was a liability the CapCops no longer wanted in their front window.
Why do you support Totatlitarian enforcers?
"Many cops were injured....."
73 Capitol Police officers and 65 Metropolitan Police officers were injured, with some suffering severe injuries such as head wounds, cracked ribs, and spinal disk damage. One Capitol Police officer lost an eye and another was stabbed with a metal fence stake, while a Metropolitan Police officer required staples for a head laceration after being kicked and hit with poles.
Most of them had 'owwies' which Mommy fixed with a kiss and a band-aid. It's to be expected when one starts gassing a crowd. Sorta like the similar injuries suffered by members of the crowd.
My judgment is not clouded in the least. The CIA and FBI have earned disdain and distrust. Tuskegee happened, you know, and so did Benghazi. The FEEBS suddenly showed up at the Latin Mass in this town, and just as suddenly vanished--and the timeframe fits precisely with the FEEB memo.
Don't care what Trump thinks of Flock; there are many Trump policies and thoughts with which actual Conservatives disagree, mildly or strenuously. You, on the other hand, love that Totatlitarian practice.
That's why Actual Americans love the 2A.
“Let's start with this”
Linking to a conspiracy performance artist? Seriously? He didn’t even link to Patel’s investigation. Besides, you insinuated you don’t trust the FBI at all. Yet you’re willing to trust Patel?
“Most of them had 'owwies' which Mommy fixed with a kiss and a band-aid. It's to be expected when one starts gassing a crowd. Sorta like the similar injuries suffered by members of the crowd.”
Disinformation on your part.
Over 140 law enforcement officers (73 Capitol Police officers and 65 Metropolitan Police officers) were injured during the attack.
You act as if they “deserved it”. Risible.
Detailed video footage and official timelines show that the outer perimeter was breached and officers were physically assaulted (punched, kicked, struck with flagpoles, and pushed against barricades) BEFORE law enforcement deployed crowd-control munitions like tear gas or pepper spray.
In fact, members of the crowd brought and used bear spray, pepper spray, and other chemical irritants directly AGAINST police officers before and during the push to enter the Capitol.
So characterizing the widespread violence against law enforcement as minor injuries caused merely by police action is contradicted by body-camera footage, court proceedings, and medical records
“The FEEBS suddenly showed up at the Latin Mass in this town, and just as suddenly vanished--and the timeframe fits precisely with the FEEB memo.”
Again, that’s been debunked.
“Don't care what Trump thinks of Flock;”
Of course you do. Trump supports this Totatlitarian practice. I don’t. Big difference.
...members of the crowd brought and used bear spray, pepper spray, and other chemical irritants directly AGAINST police officers...
Yes. Pelosi's FBI (and CIA) plants. Speaking of Pelosi, why did she stiff-arm Trump's offer of National Guard?
We all know why.
No one "debunked" that Latin Mass/FEEB memo; in fact, the author has been named. No one "debunked" the FACT that a couple of FEEBS showed up right after that memo was written, and disappeared as soon as the memo was exposed. IOW, you're full of crap--which is exactly what we expect from the camp-followers.
J6 was a setup, top to bottom. Like I said earlier, it's a very good thing that the 2A was written and is exercised by Americans.
“Yes. Pelosi's FBI (and CIA) plants.”
Fake News.
There are documented cases of Jan 6 rioters employing chemical irritants as an offensive maneuver.
“Speaking of Pelosi, why did she stiff-arm Trump's offer of National Guard?”
We all know why. Former President Donald Trump publicly stated that he suggested bringing 10,000 National Guard troops to D.C. ahead of January 6. However, Acting Defense Secretary Christopher Miller and Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff General Mark Milley testified that Trump made informal, offhand comments about needing thousands of troops to keep the peace, but no official order was issued to the Pentagon, and no formal offer was ever extended to Congress or Nancy Pelosi.
Furthermore, during the riot, video footage and telecommunication logs showed Nancy Pelosi, alongside then-Senate Minority Leader Chuck Schumer and Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, repeatedly calling defense officials, governors, and the Mayor of D.C. urgently begging for immediate National Guard deployment to secure the building. Recall it was overrun by a mob who refused to vacate the premises as commanded by law enforcement. I thought conservatives observe law and order and the rule of law. Guess not in your world.
“No one "debunked" that Latin Mass/FEEB memo”
It was debunked.
“J6 was a setup, top to bottom.”
Disinformation.
Buh-Bye, Nazi
Yes, the Nazis were those Jan 6 protesters who violated the law and had total disregard for human life.
