It's fairly common for Presidents to exaggerate the good news and minimize the bad news, and this tendency is not limited to Democrats (although they are much more practiced at lying.)
That said, the "Jobs Numbers" pushed out lately are obvious B.S.
With the October jobs report already expected to be a big drop from September's 336K, as consensus expected a 180K print, moments ago the BLS confirmed that last month's surge was nothing but a Bidenomics mirage and as we warned in our preview, the October print indeed came "crashing down to earth", sliding to 150K, a drop of more than 50% from the original Sept print, and the second lowest since 2022...
But that's not the biggest part of the story.
...The scariest number however did not come from the Establishment survey at all, but rather from the Household survey, where the number of employed workers plunged by 348K, the biggest drop since the covid lockdowns, This means that the US is already in recession....
The Household Survey contacts real people and asks the questions; the Establishment survey relies on numbers from companies.
And the massaging of "Establishment" is serious, indeed, as you can see in the graph below:

Greg
Tax revenue falls, like gold autumn leaf dust,
Till April springs claim, on the workers harvest,
And Government coffers are again overfilled,
And graveyards bloat with their new war killed.
