The Forbidden Word: "Reliability"

Just as you'd expect, the local rag loves WE Energies' decision to close their coal plants by 2032 or so.

They even publish a long essay on Why That Won't Hurt Customers--concentrating on the finance options.

But there's one word you don't find in any of the litterboxliner's coverage of closing coal plants:

RELIABILITY.

You already know why that is the "N word" on electrical generating stories, don't you?

Wait until you find out how much money is being spent on utility-grade batteries in an attempt to make RELIABILITY a non-issue.

No, you won't pay for it on your electric bill.  It'll just become another $Bazillion on the national debt.

Rope.  Tree.  Liars.

Some assembly required.
