Just as you'd expect, the local rag loves WE Energies' decision to close their coal plants by 2032 or so.
They even publish a long essay on Why That Won't Hurt Customers--concentrating on the finance options.
But there's one word you don't find in any of the litterboxliner's coverage of closing coal plants:
RELIABILITY.
You already know why that is the "N word" on electrical generating stories, don't you?
Wait until you find out how much money is being spent on utility-grade batteries in an attempt to make RELIABILITY a non-issue.
No, you won't pay for it on your electric bill. It'll just become another $Bazillion on the national debt.
