Craig Counsell made a business decision to leave the Brewers, and as you recall, the Brewers gave him permission to look around.
This does not help Mark Attanasio's quest for $400 MILLION in taxpayer money.
So what does Attanasio do? He attempts to turn Counsell into a ratfink.
...In a meeting with local media mere hours after news broke that Counsell was signing as a free agent, Brewers principal owner Mark Attanasio made his feelings rather clear.
“We’re all here today because we lost Craig,” Attanasio said in his opening statement. “But I’ve reflected on this – Craig has lost us and he’s lost our community also.” ...
That's more-or-less the line spouted on reports by various "reporters."
So, Mark, are you now the spox for "the community"?
'Counsell is a rat!!' That's the Shiny Object you're supposed to see, rather than the $400 MILLION taxpayers are giving the Brewers.

Most Liberal Ashkenazi Jewish Business models are designed to form a tit on the side of whatever level of Govt they can, attach themselves to it, and suck the taxpayer dry. It's a hell of a racket.
