I read this interesting article today.
Basically it says that the purpose of the XL Pipeline is to divert oil from refineries in the Midwest to refineries in free trade zones in along the gulf where the oil can be sold internationally for lower or no taxes.
In other words, it does not improve the oil supply of the US, it improves the profits of the oil companies.
consider the source.
Nevermind the jobs it would create. Isn't that the point of evil corporate profit?
