Christie jams David Gregory and David Gregory doesn't like it.
One would expect that David Gregory understands plain English (or "'merkin", if you're a Carter-ite.)
But maybe J-school standards have slipped, eh?

What you are leaving out is that Christie tries to say that it isn't a "tax cut" to maintain the "current tax structure". But the current tax structure IS that the highest bracket marginal rates go up to 39.6% in 2011. If it's less than that, then it's a tax cut from the "current tax structure."
The man spins with the best of them, no?
Yes, if you have trouble with ontology.
"Is" means "is". Now. Current.
January 1 is not "now."
Bill Clinton had the same problem.
Oxymoron: "J-school standards."
