Just How NeoCon Is Scott Walker?

Neumayr excoriates the intellectualoid NeoCon bow-tie crowd.  One interesting graf:

...Notice that the neocons so appalled by Trump’s vulgarity defend the much deeper vulgarity of the elite’s social revolution. Trump is not to their taste. But gay marriage is. That in part explains why a Supreme Court stacked by Hillary doesn’t terrify them very much. They wouldn’t want gay marriage rulings overturned, they feel largely comfortable with the feminist world Roe v. Wade created, and they find the religious-freedom pleas of the Kim Davises tiresome. On many of the hot-button social issues before the court, they agree with Hillary. And on matters of trade, immigration, and war, they feel more kinship with her than with Trump....

While Scott Walker is anti-abortion, he visibly shrugged at the queer-marriage decision, mumbling something about 'the rule of law,' which 'law' happens to be utterly preposterous.

Wisconsin's Highway-Spending Addiction

George Mitchell brings out a few ugly facts about the Doyle/Walker highway-spending machines.

...in the last year of the Thompson-McCallum Administration debt service on highway bonds was $93 million and represented 7% of transportation fund revenue....

...By the time Doyle left office the dollar amount of debt service had more than doubled. As a share of transportation revenue it grew to 11.5% from 7%....

...Under Walker’s proposal the dollar value of debt service would have more than doubled from Doyle’s last year in office. As a share of transportation revenue, debt service would have risen to more than 20% from 11.5%....

(Walker's proposal was NOT adopted, so Gottlieb and Vos want to ram it through this year instead.)

Anyhoo.  Mitchell's analysis points out why it is that DOT has budget troubles:  they are spending 11.5% of their income on debt-service.  That's around $200 million/year, which is one helluvalot of car registration fees, no?

By the way, when Robin Vos can justify the massive DOT spend on Hy. 16 between Oconomowoc and Watertown--which has, perhaps, 500 vehicles/day traveling on it--then we'll give his RoadBuilders pals another $million or so to play with.

AG Lynch Meets Slime Family. Strictly Coincidence.

The current Corruptocrat/Attorney General has been handed a case wherein the party to be indicted will go to Federal prison for wanton and flagrant mis-handling of US Top Secret and Compartmentalized intel--violations which, we remind you, need no mens rea.  It's open-and-shut:  do not pass "go", go directly to prison.

That same Corruptocrat/Attorney General met with the husband of the criminal-in-waiting.

During that hour-long meeting, the AG tells us that they discussed "grandchildren."

Feel like they think you're fools?

One Good Reason to Watch the (R) Convention: Ditka

As I recall, Mike Ditka is a very very very hard-edged conservative kinda guy.  In 2004 he considered running for office and made a speech or two.  They were short and pointed.  He re-considered and dropped out; that was a disaster for the country--it resulted in Obozo becoming a US Senator.

If his appearance at the Trumpkin Convention is anything like his last political foray, you will love it.

I met the guy at his Chicago restaurant twenty-some years ago.  Affable, pleasant, and very professional as a restauranteur and host.

(This post is not authorized nor paid for by the Green Bay Packers.)

Meet Some of the Cronies of Crony Capital!

Nice deal.  They give Hillary a few million dollars, get lots more taxpayer dollars to fund their losing "investments."

...“I met yesterday in Chicago with a big group of clean renewable energy businesses and they’re just ready to go,” [Hillabitch] said at an Iowa campaign stop in November. “But they need some help from the government.”...

...That meeting was in fact a campaign fundraiser at the home of Michael Polsky...The group’s other co-chair is Nicholas Pritzker...Another Clinton bundler, Antonio Gracias, serves as CET’s treasurer...

There's also a tie to Elon Musk, who manufactures cars that set themselves on fire and on which the doors may or may not work--and who cleaned the State of Nevada for Large Cash to build his battery plant there.  Harry Reid (D-Corruption) is Nevada's daddy, and we all know about Chicago people.  And of course, the Podesta brothers are involved, too, lawyering and lobbying.

The US could use a modified version of Brexit to become free of this pestilence.

Questions About Orlando Cops' "Response"

Finally, someone raises the question:  why did the Orlando cops sit on their hands?

A less-polite way to phrase it:  Are you really 'heroes'?

No Particular Value in Dick Posner, Either

The relativist "mind" in Chicago pukes out his alleged knowledge.

According to 7th Circuit Judge Richard Posner in a post published to Slate, U.S. judges should stop studying the Constitution.

“I see absolutely no value to a judge of spending decades, years, months, weeks, day, hours, minutes, or seconds studying the Constitution, the history of its enactment, its amendments, and its implementation,” Posner argued.

“Eighteenth-century guys, however smart, could not foresee the culture, technology, etc., of the 21st century,” he continued. “Which means that the original Constitution, the Bill of Rights, and the post–Civil War amendments (including the 14th), do not speak to today.”  --quoted at Zippers

The same relativistic logic leads us to declare that there is no particular value in paying attention to a member of the Ruling Class judiciary, Dick.  Smoke that, instead of whatever you're using.

Posner confuses Ruling Class Judiciary interpretations of the Constitution with the actual document (as amended.)  That's not a defensible error; but we'll give him a cigar for understanding that the 14th Amendment does NOT include "birthright citizenship" for anchor babies born here.

On the other hand, he asserts that the Ruling Class judiciary is given the power to 'define common law.'  Wrong.  That was defined several thousand years ago.  It's called "The Ten Commandments," which summarize natural law.  Any popinjay member of the judiciary who rules against that is pissing into the wind which is to say that there is "no particular value" in their dicta.

"Time to Move On", Hillary?

The most notorious female liar in the world, on Benghazi:

"I think it’s pretty clear, it’s time to move on."

Yup.  Let's move on to your trial and incarceration, Hillabitch.

Just Can't Wait

The headline here...why does that produce a cynical laugh?

Judges in Milwaukee Cause Crime

If you think that headline is wrong, just read the report.

...[There is] a pattern of defendants – even felons who have shot at people or are drug dealers – [who bail out quickly on a few thousand dollars (median bail in gun court: $5,000), commit new crimes as their cases languish for months (sometimes very serious ones), defy pretrial supervision rules with little more than a judicial scolding (sometimes repeatedly), and often escape lengthy sentences at the end, with about 40 percent avoiding prison time now (not counting stayed terms)....UW-M student study summary quoted at Right Wisconsin.

The students examined 550 cases over a 9-month period.

Yes, indeed.  Milwaukee judges cause crime.  In fact, one could say that they are co-conspirators.  Now you know why the cops and firemen want to get the Hell out of that town.

Bps. Cupich & Farrell Are Losing Moral Authority

It comes as no surprise that Bps. Cupich (Chicago) and Farrell (Dallas) are calling for a ban on the sale of modern sporting/family defense arms such as the AR platform.  Both have reputations.

It should also come as no surprise to those Bishops that very few members of their flock give a flying fig about their opinions of self- and family-defense, or hunting tools.

Cupich could be addressing the extraordinary murder rate in Chicago; Farrell could be addressing the drug-cartel problems in Texas.

But it's easier to create fake 'morals' problems.

The USCC will be well-advised to remain silent on the matter.

The Usual Suspects Oppose Stepp

Doesn't take long to find the slant and bias in Madison's propaganda-rag "story" on Kathy Stepp's reforms of DNR, does it?  The bugs, bunnies, and bambi crowd runs rampant in Madistan.

DNR has long been used as the Green-Weenie/Radical Left's weapon, just like Obozo's IRS and the Wisconsin Government Accountability Board have been.

Stepp is in territory salted with hostiles.  (It is not co-incidence that DNR staffers wanted to protect a snake).  She's conducting a re-formation of DNR which will fix its very serious staffing problems--and is taking fire for it.  That's the "no good deed goes un-punished" bromide in real life.

In a related story, the Obozo regime has sent its storm troopers into the fray over Stepp's plans for the Baraboo ammo-works property.  The National Park Service's beak should be bashed, and Walker/Stepp are just the people to do it.

Go, Kathy!!

Useful Idiots: Kennedy, Meeks, Delahunt, Penn, and the MSM

The term "useful idiots" was coined by Joe Stalin who used it to classify idiots who were helpful to the Communist cause.  The US has a lot of them, including (at least) one member of the Kennedy family, a current and extremely corrupt member of Congress, and the usual Left Coast rummies like Sean Penn, whose daddy was a card-carrying Commie.

Where's Senator Joe McCarthy when you need him?

Due to the assistance of these chumps--whether simply stupid or greedy--thousands of Venezuelans are now starving, and tens of thousands more WILL be starving soon.

Our MSM doesn't pay any attention to this, of course.  Can you connect the dots there?

US Border Patrol Smuggling Drugs and People

Border Patrol and US military personnel are smuggling drugs and participating in human trafficking.

...it’s people inside Border Patrol and inside the military who have long been involved in smuggling drugs, as well as smuggling humans. They’re well aware of it. They don’t talk about it much but it’s well known inside. I’ll be doing a story in the Fall about corruption inside the Border Patrol which is just out of control. There’s so many agents. The cartels place people inside Border Patrol now, smugglers place people inside Border Patrol get them hired there. It’s a big issue....

That's Sharyl Atkisson, speaking to Breitbart News.

Feds Arming Up. Got Ammo??

You'll never believe which Fed agency bought all this.

...In the space of eight years, the group amassed a stockpile of pistols, shotguns, and semiautomatic rifles, along with ample supplies of ammunition, liquid explosives, gun scopes, and suppressors. In its cache as well are night-vision goggles, gas cannons, plus armored vests, drones, and surveillance equipment. Between 2006 and 2014, this organization spent nearly $4.8 million to arm itself. Yet its aggressive weapons buildup has drawn almost no public attention....--quoted at ColdFury

Not FBI.  Not IRS. Not even the Blue Pandas.

It is the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service, an agency of the US Department of Agriculture.

Never know when some farmer might get a bit uppity, right?

Milwaukee's 3rd-Place Increase in % Homicides

2015 was quite a year for Milwaukee.  The city managed to come in 3rd in the country in the % increase of homicides!!

...While Baltimore had the largest increase in absolute numbers, it had the fourth-largest percentage increase.

Homicides in Baltimore jumped by 58.5 percent last year. Cleveland saw a 90.5 percent increase to lead the nation. Nashville, Tenn., was second with 82.9 percent; Milwaukee was third with 72.6 percent.

Washington finished just behind Baltimore, with a 54.3 percent increase....

Chicago didn't make the Top Five.  But there's always next year, as the Cub fans say.

Self-Serving Swine to Vote for Hillary (!!)

Yah, that's old Hank Paulson, of Goldman Sachs, who shoveled your tax dollars into Goldie.

He knows who butters his bread, and it's Hillary.

Birds, feathers, and shitballs.

College: Not for Learning Anymore

A couple of items have appeared over the last few days which add straw's to the seriously-bending camel's back once thought of as "education" <e-ducere, Latin, 'to lead out...' [of ignorance]>

The U of North Carolina's PC Nazis have declared that reference to the "Christmas Holiday" is a micro-aggression, as is referring to 'boys' or 'girls.'

And The Warrior's head explodes over this one:

...According to [U. of Northern Colorado] documents obtained by Heat Street under Colorado’s Open Records Act, a professor asked his students to read The Atlantic’s “The Coddling of the American Mind” (co-authored by FIRE President and CEO Greg Lukianoff). The piece warns that the growing institutionalization of aversion to presenting views that students may find offensive or disagreeable deprives students of the opportunity to confront views they disagree with. The professor engaged students in a discussion about opposing viewpoints on, among other things, transgender issues, prompting one student to file a Bias Incident Report with university administrators....

The University administration actually took the complaint seriously, admonishing the professor for encouraging debate on the Atlantic's essay.

We have long suspected that university "education" is--by and large--a waste of money.  Seeing the day-to-day work-product of many, many college grads is evidence enough, without even delving into their thinking "ability."

But now we know why:  the Administrations are largely brain-dead.

The Globaloney Crowd Head-Explosion

Bayou RenMan has a very solid essay on Brexit which features the most inane and disconnected editorial I've seen on the topic, from the LA Times.

See how One World twits dissemble, smear, and condescend, their bowties quivering with high dudgeon and their keyboards flecked with wine-and-brie-flavored spittle:

...We find ourselves in a moment of global fear. The democratic identities of Britain and the United States are under threat — not from immigrants or even changing values, but from nationalists and xenophobes exploiting citizens' darkest worries with populist projects, including Donald Trump’s campaign for the U.S. presidency and Brexit....http://bayourenaissanceman.blogspot.com/2016/06/brexit-local-and-national-interests.html

... The same people who cheer when Trump laments the decline of American leadership want to ignore key global issues and put “America First.” The people who voted for Brexit, attempting to create a border between Britain and challenges such as the refugee crisis, seem to think Britain can solve such problems without consulting Germany or France or, worst of all to them, Brussels....

... The world doesn’t work that way, and it hasn’t for decades. Ever-increasing globalization has created an unprecedented surge in prosperity, but it has also ushered in jarring changes. The rough edges of those changes can only be overcome with more aggressive cooperation and engagement, not less
....Quoted at RenMan

It is noteworthy that a number of Labor districts (that's the Brit Lefty gang) voted "leave" while their elected member of Parliament was campaigning for "remain."  This is a direct parallel to the significant "Reagan Democrat" support given to Trump.  Thus, HRC v. Trump polling may be skewed.
