Gov. DeWine of Ohio appointed Lt Gov Husted to the Senate seat vacated by J D Vance. Not a big surprise at all.
The Trump Idolizers have their own Sacred Narrative on the matter, screeching that DeWine is a RINO (he is) and he should have appointed Ramaswamy instead. That's a Narrative Engineering play.
Yah, well, DeWine is not suicidal.
Ramaswamy loves him some H-1B; he has made it clear that H-1B's are far superior to American-born STEM graduates.
DeWine could not possibly appoint someone with that position to a Senate seat in Ohio. Maybe California. But slapping the faces of Ohio citizens with a jackwad like Rammyswammy?
Hell, no.
