Noted by Peter, linked right here, and a couple of excerpts follow.
...There’s a level of anger far deeper and more consequential than expressed rage or visible behavior, it’s called Cold Anger.
Cold Anger does not need to go to violence. For those who carry it,
no conversation is needed when we meet. You cannot poll or measure it;
specifically because most who carry it avoid discussion… And that decision has nothing whatsoever to do with any form of correctness....
I saw the local news coverage of that smirking sniveler Paul Ryan last night. Another baby-killer subsidy, more Federal 'research' on dead baby parts is in the bag. And Paul Ryan was "honored." OK.
...We watch the 2009 $900+ billion Stimulus Bill being spent each year,
every year, for seven consecutive years. Omnibus, Porkulous, QE1, QE2,
Bailouts, Crony-Capitalism. We know exactly how this works, and we know
exactly why this ruse is maintained. We don’t need to stand around
talking about it…. We’re beyond talking....We’ve waited each year, every year, for ten years, to see a federal
budget, only to be given another Omnibus spending bill by “CONservative”
Speaker Ryan....
Yup, THAT Paul Ryan.
...We’ve watched our borders being intentionally unsecured.
We’ve watched Islamic Terrorists slaughter Americans as our
politicians proclaim their uncertainty of motive. We know exactly who
they are, and why they are doing it. We do not need to stand around
discussing it…. we’re clear eyed.
Cold Anger evidenced is more severe because it is more strategic, and
more purposeful. Eric Cantor’s defeat, Matt Bevin’s victory, Brexit,
Donald Trump’s highest vote tally in the history of presidential
primaries or Mark Sanford’s 2018 primary dispatch might aid your
understanding....
See the bastards undercut the USA:
....Transgender bathrooms are more important than border security.
Illicit trade schemes, employment and the standard of living in
Vietnam and Southeast Asia are more important to Wall Street and DC
lobbyists, than the financial security of Youngstown Ohio.
We get it. We understand. We didn’t create that reality, we are simply responding to it....
And of course, the not-exactly-metaphorical murder of Kavanaugh and the rape of his wife and daughters.
...To respond we must engage as an insurgency. We must modify our disposition to think like an insurgent. Insurgencies have nothing to lose.....

Name That President
Here's what the newspaper had to say about a recently-elected President:
“…he is no more capable of becoming a statesman, nay, even a moderate one, than the braying ass can become a noble lion. People now marvel how it came to pass that ....xx.... should have been selected as the representative man of any party. His weak, wishy-washy, namby-pamby efforts, imbecile in matter, disgusting in manner, have made us the laughing stock of the whole world.”
If you guessed "Abraham Lincoln", you win the chicken dinner.
But you didn't, did you? Don't lie. I can see you drop your eyes to your toes.
BTW, he was elected with only 39.8% of the popular vote. And the Lynching Party opposed him, too, just like today! Who says history doesn't repeat itself?

Caught by Stephen Green:

Sobran, The Classical Catholic Conservative
A number of years ago, Joe Sobran was the keynote speaker at a local fundraiser.
I was his chauffer for his Sunday morning trip to Mass; he attended the Extraordinary Form (Latin) Mass, and we knew exactly where to take him, of course.
Anyhow. We are reminded of his brilliant Conservatism by this lengthy essay conserved (heh) at this website--and by the same essay we are reminded why he was kicked out of Buckley's orbit at National Review, and why he has been flayed by the Captain Cruise-Ship war-monger neocons for more than twenty years.
Enjoy it. It's a very long read, but worth every minute.

The Problem Is Not Kavanaugh. It's The "Elites"
Zman proposes that Kavanaugh is NOT the problem. Not even close to being the problem.
...a people with a capable ruling elite can get along and be happy with just about any form of political system. A people who need the restraint of democracy or a strong constitution to tame their ruling classes is a people with a ruling class incapable of operation a constitutional government and abiding by its limits....
...the main stage is populated with geezers produced by the ruling class of a half century ago. Diane Feinstein is the representative of the generation that produced the cultural revolution of the 1960’s, not someone from the current age. In other words, the American ruling class started going sour a long time ago. We’re just getting to smell the rotting corpse of it....
(Note that there are parallels to the Catholic Church here, too. Ugh.)
...watching the Kavanaugh circus should be a reminder that America is one serious crisis away from collapse. The financial crisis of 2008 was so terrifying to the elites, because they sense the fragility of their position...
....It’s clear that the political elite of America is incapable of handling a genuine crisis. They struggle to do the basics of government now. They still have not written and passed a budget for next fiscal year. This is ground floor stuff. If they cannot handle the simplest of tasks, how will the “world’s greatest deliberative body” manage to debate a response to a genuine crisis? The answer, of course, is they won’t because they can’t. Instead, they will look around for the strong man to arrive and take over the task from them....
Ain't that a reassuring thought?
...That’s what we are seeing with the Kavanaugh hearings. Serious men would never have allowed a handful of deranged matrons, suffering from the typical middle aged female hysteria, to disrupt this process. Generation after generation since Gettysburg, the political elite has grown weaker as the quality of the ruling elite has declined. Maybe the system is to blame. Maybe the breeding patterns of the elites are to blame. Maybe it is just an example of reversion to the mean. Either way, our elites are no longer elite.
They're certainly NOT able to think in terms of "the National Interest", much less in such esoteric terms as "right order." The gravestone for "right order" in the US is Roe v. Wade.

How To Fight
Although Leah Vukmir has decided that it's time to fight, many other Republicans haven't figured that out. (And it shows.)
Here's Ollie North to show you how.
Take a very good look, Gov. Walker.
(And in a different context, one hopes that Abp Listecki takes a look, too. Maybe he'll get the backbone he needs to tell Massingale to sit down and shut up.)

Nice to see Leah slamming the Little Girl Politician Who Does Nothing.
Bloomberg Bloviations on Kavanaugh
For those of you who understand what a threat Bloomberg is, this is not news. If you don't know the jackassery of this Rich New York Twit, this is only one small sliver of the Poop Pie Bloomberg serves up every day.
The first thing you notice is the false dichotomy. This is not "...a battle between #MeToo and Republicans." It's a battle between what is true and what is false. But Bloomberg has no interest in truth. Instead, Bloomberg will slander Republican senators:
There. He's so sensitive that he can't go outside when the sun is shining--sunburn, ya'know.
And no Bloomberg essay is complete without an effort to re-write history!!
I'll give this creature some credit, though. Here he's correct:
You mean that they don't have the cojones to do what's right--and you're probably correct.
At this time, the only real manhood to be found in politics is in the White House. (It is not to be found in the Governor's Mansion in Wisconsin, either.)
Anyhow. Bloomberg wants to become the President and he will spread this sort of girly-boy propaganda in his path to get there.
We need not mention that he WILL confiscate all your guns, do we?

...Republican senators will be seeking the cover they need to do what party activists desperately want them to do: confirm Judge Kavanaugh and consolidate a conservative majority on the U.S. Supreme Court for decades to come....Do you remember the "Sensitive '90's Guy"? This guy does, and he desperately wants to BE one!
...the decision to outsource the questioning to a woman who is not a senator seems at least a bit condescending. It looks as though the committee Republicans are so predetermined not to believe Ford that they need a buffer between them and her....
There. He's so sensitive that he can't go outside when the sun is shining--sunburn, ya'know.
And no Bloomberg essay is complete without an effort to re-write history!!
...the decision not to question Ford directly has a certain logic to it. The Republicans remember the terrible optics when male Judiciary Committee members went after Anita Hill for her sexual harassment claims during Justice Clarence Thomas’s confirmation hearings in 1991....Maybe terrible to you, but certainly not to the millions of Americans who wrote letters to Thomas expressing their unqualified support for him. What size are those loafers you wear so lightly, fellow?
I'll give this creature some credit, though. Here he's correct:
...They don’t want to create the same visual again — because it would raise the cost of voting to confirm Kavanaugh....

Why Can't Ryan Just Go Home?
361 to 61. No wall, but plenty of money to kill babies with.
Another Ryan triumph!!
Grothman helped Ryan as is his wont; he's had his nose up the Speaker's ....nethers....forever. Sensenbrenner and Duffy voted against it, but that was the 'safe' vote--Ryan was not to be denied.
Go home, Paul. You have a nice wall around your house. Enjoy it.

Tony Evers, Total Gasbag
Since he has no idea what he's talking about, he shoots a lot of gas into the air and pretends he answered the question.
...Asked where he would find the money for a tax cut plus his proposal to boost school funding by $1.4 billion over two years, Evers said, "It's all about priorities, it always has been."
"That's the way it has worked for Republicans and Democrats over time," he added. "You go to the budget, you get the best you can and you try to do it without any taxes and it happens, it happens every single time."...
Uh-huh. Sure. That's exactly what it is. No question about it. That's where $1.5 BILLION will come from.
Any questions??

Milwaukee's New Director/Liturgy
The Archdiocese of Milwaukee has hired a new Director of Liturgy.
Kim Mandelkow, formerly a Benedictine sister in Indiana, and formerly a shift supervisor at Caribou Coffee, and also formerly the Director of Liturgy for the Archdiocese of Des Moines, will now grace Milwaukee with her hats and her dog.
Ms. Mandelkow is enthusiastic about Pp. Francis' (and the USCC's) commitment to The Environment. She also celebrates unlimited Muslim "refugee" immigration and of course, she admires Fauxcahontas Warren. Go ahead. Scroll the Twitter!
Her undergrad degree in music granted by Concordia Lutheran is...ahhh....something.
We now know the relative importance of the liturgy to +Listecki in this Archdiocese, eh? And we know that being Unhinged is no bar to a high level staff slot in +Listecki's Archdiocese.

CUF/Milwaukee Weighs In
The Milwaukee Chapter of Catholics United for the Faith (CUF) has issued a resolution concerning the upcoming appearance of the homosexualist heretic Fr. Bryan Massingale.
A copy was sent to the Apostolic Nuncio.
We have already made clear that the Archbishop of Milwaukee appears to be very reluctant to discipline Massingale according to the mind of the Church, and we doubt that Massingale would give a fig if the Archbishop gathered up the courage to order him to Sit Down and Shut Up.
And there we are.
But there's more!! Not about this disaster, but of another one, right here in Milwaukee!! Keep up with this blog.
WHEREAS, on October 2-4, 2018, the organization “New Ways Ministry” will sponsor "a retreat for gay priests, brothers and deacons" at the Siena Retreat Center in the Archdiocese of Milwaukee; and
WHEREAS, in 2016, the Vatican approved the document The Gift of the Priestly Vocation which declared that the Church “cannot admit to the seminary or to holy orders those who practice homosexuality, present deep-seated homosexual tendencies or support the so-called ‘gay culture’"; and
WHEREAS, in 1999, the Vatican published a Notification Regarding Sister Jeannine Gramick, SSND and Father Robert Nugent, SDS which censured these two founders of New Ways Ministry for their lack of adherence to Church teaching on the morality of homosexual acts by permanently prohibiting them "from any pastoral work involving homosexual persons"; and
WHEREAS, in 2010, the United States Conference of Catholic Bishops declared that New Ways Ministry cannot legitimately speak for Catholics, due to its continued lack of adherence to Church teaching; and
WHEREAS, recent events have demonstrated that the American bishops, as a group, have failed adequately to discipline themselves (and their priests) regarding the Church’s teachings on sexuality; and
WHEREAS, the aforementioned failure has led to announcements of secular legal investigations of the Church in at least seven states to date; and
WHEREAS, New Ways Ministry has announced that Father Bryan Massingale, a priest of the Archdiocese of Milwaukee, will facilitate the aforementioned October 2-4, 2018 retreat; and
WHEREAS, in 2006, Father Massingale publicly opposed passage of the Wisconsin Marriage Amendment despite its support by all five Wisconsin bishops; and
WHEREAS, in 2017, Father Massingale publicly opposed a draft of a presidential executive action guaranteeing religious freedom, basing his opposition on the demonstrably false claim that “Christians are not under attack in this country”; and
WHEREAS, Father Massingale, at his Ordination, made a vow of obedience to the local ordinary and his successors;
BE IT RESOLVED, in order to prevent further damage to the Faith, and scandal to the faithful, the St. Gregory VII Chapter of Catholics United for the Faith (CUF) hereby urges you, as Archbishop of Milwaukee, to officially prohibit the exercise of Father Massingale’s participation in the New Ways Ministry retreat.
A copy was sent to the Apostolic Nuncio.

The Truth About +Listecki
Dreher has his moments, and even though the essay he writes is about the population decline of the Church in America, this paragraph can be applied to +Listecki's lazy yawn over the homosexualist invasion of the priesthood here.
...I think it’s fair, however, to blame the institutional Church for failing to take seriously the situation, and to respond appropriately. In my view, it is unreasonable to expect the institutional Church to understand the moment, because understanding the moment requires most of its bishops and pastors to regard the world in a way they find deeply disagreeable, and to change their policies and behavior in kind. They would much, much prefer to manage decline than to repent....
We recognize that it's a lot easier for +Listecki to sit around and hope that nothing will go wrong; that no rapes or harassment will happen, and that Massingale and his comrades (there ARE many here) will keep their fat traps shut.
After all, doing nothing except showing up at church picnics and cutting radio spots is very easy, indeed.
So he'll manage the decline.
For contrast, look only one Diocese west, to Madison. Seminarians all over the place....

LIttle Tammy's Sleaze Machine Friends
Little Tammy, part of the Sleaze Machine in DC, wants more "investigation" of Kavanaugh.
Wrong.
Democrats have violated every single principle of justice and fairness re Kavanaugh, and Little Tammy and her Sleaze Machine friends had better hope that normal American men and women don't react with extreme prejudice.
Little Tammy's Sleaze Machine friends are chasing Senators out of restaurants, which is crappy.
But Little Tammy's friends are also threatening 9- and 13-year old girls. That's not crappy, Tammy, that's asking for a lot of trouble.
Little Tammy: go to Hell.

Goodell Looks Like a Fool
There are plenty of videos and memes mercilessly mocking the NFL's new QB sacking rules.
Deservedly so.
But the rule is exactly what one expects from Goodell, who is a girly-man running a man's game into the ground. Goodell makes a Soccer Mom look like Rambo, except the rules he puts into play ARE soccer-mom rules, and the union loves it.
Screw the union, and screw Goodell.

Thank You, Ms. Ford!!
The crap-doodle being put on in Washington by Feinswine & Ford has had the reaction most of us expected.
Republicans appear to be rallying to embattled President Trump and his call for a “red wave” of voters at the polls this fall, according to a new national survey that finds GOP “enthusiasm” for the midterm elections surging.
At this time, the (D's) still hold a 12-point lead in "preference," but the "hot-to-vote" number is now a virtual tie at 65 D v 61 R.
We'll see. As expected, another woman has "suddenly" materialized to talk about her experience with Kavanaugh, and seems to have a better story than the psychotic from California--although that's a damn low bar.
As to the second woman's story: even the NY Times and ABC News are walking away from it. But it's anti-white-male-conservative, so it's all good.
Lawyer-wise, Ms. Katz is now out-gunned and out-classed!! Michael Avenatti has entered the scene.

What the Hell's Going On Out Here?
One suspects that Vince Lombardi, a daily communicant, would be kicking ass at his alma mater.
Not only is the notorious heretical homosexualist "Fr" Bryan Massingale spreading his faddletwap about queer marriage being a good thing, sin being invented by Trent (etc.). No. Not just him.
Massingale has a competitor-in-heresy at Fordham who probably takes first place in their race to Hell.
That guy? Scott Bruce, Ph.D. He recently wrote an op-ed for Materialist News (a/k/a the WSJ.)
...The author believes Hell is a medieval invention adapted from the ancient myths that talk about a place of punishment for evildoers in the afterlife.
Dr. Scott recognizes the sociological value of Hell as “a frightening deterrent for sinful behavior.” However, he claims that Hell was (and no longer is) a cornerstone of Christian doctrine. It was (and no longer is) something about which priests preached.
The author looks forward to a day “in some, better future,” when the idea of hell might be retired from use. It would be “an important step in the maturation of human communities that can mete out justice on their own, without supernatural aid.”...
Well, we can see where Bryan stole his '....sin .....invented by Trent' crap from. And millions of grade-school Catholics will be pleased to know that there are only THREE Last Things they must memorize.
One Vince Lombardi quote is apropos, on film for anyone to see:
Lombardi was a far better theologian, Dr. Bruce. He had only a Bachelor's, but he learned well.

Hey, RoJo!! The Brits Influenced the US Election. What Are You Going To Do?
RoJo has been warning us--often--that the Russkis were attempting to influence US elections.
Why, sure!! So did the ChiComs, of course, and the Israelis, and the Saudis, and probably every podunk tin-hat ShitHole in the world.
But so did the British, RoJo. How about you lay a few embargoes onto the bloody limeys?

Barnes Says Trump "Building Ubermensch", Eh?
Trump doesn't kiss the ass of all the Correct People.
So they cry REEEEEEE!!REEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!RRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Democratic lieutenant governor candidate Mandela Barnes this week said President Donald Trump's immigration policies are "like a race to create a superior race."
Whatever. Apparently Barnes is tired of obscurity, so it's time for a race-baiting contest.
Keep poking the bear, dumbass.

Bergoglio's Horrible Trail
The Pope recently remarked that 'there were no such problems [sexual abuse] in my Archdiocese'.
Well, maybe that's not true. LifeSite reviews a long article in Der Spiegel and sheds light on the question.
....As the Spiegel further explains, “during Bergoglio's time as cardinal, many of the abuse victims in Buenos Aires [the former episcopal seat of Jorge Bergoglio] had turned to him for help; nobody was permitted access to him.” Julieta Añazco and other victims now demand a civil legal process against their abusers. There are currently 62 trials going on against Argentine priests. As the Spiegel says “the number of their victims could be in the thousands.” As Añazco says, “it is difficult for us, because nobody believes us. We wish to reach the Pope, but he is not interested in us.” ....
The Holy Francis is right: there's a lot of clericalism going on. It went on in his own Archdiocese of Buenos Aires and it's going on now in Rome. HH is writing the book on it. Suggested title: "How Perverts, Bishops, Cardinals, and I, Jorge, Demolished the Church"

Tom "The Tuna" Barrett, Lying Again
In a video clip not yet archived on Channel 58, Tom "The Tuna" Barrett, part-time Mayor of Milwaukee and full-time chump, slandered the President and lots of the President's supporters.
Standard operating procedure for Democrats: lie, slander, and evade.
(How's that lead-pipe thing, Tuna? Keep up that Sergeant Schulz act, eh? Yah, Wol!!!)
After some sort of appearance with several dozen legal residents who were about to take their citizenship exam, Barrett told the Channel 58 reporter that these people were 'legal residents' who 'do not deserve to be disparaged', even though (says Tuna) the President and his voters do so.
Sorry, Tuna, that's not good enough. LEGAL immigrants are just fine and dandy. No President--including Trump--has ever said otherwise.
How many of the 22 million ILLEGALS are you hiding in Milwaukee, Tommy? How many of them are you encouraging and allowing to vote, Tommy??
Hmmmmm????
The Tuna's career is over. Within 10 years (maybe less) he'll be out of office, collecting a couple of very nice pensions, and gumming his lies out through his drool. Maybe then the City of Milwaukee will elect a Mayor who doesn't lie like a rug, eh?

BlaseyFord Creds Diminishing Rapidly
From what was a very shaky beginning, the Ford story continues to deteriorate.
Now--after 35 (36?? 34???) years, and perhaps 6 years or so more or less, and 60 days sitting on the desk of a US Senator, and 3, 5, or 10 days of "negotiations" over an appearance.....which is STILL subject to "negotiations," Ms. Ford will talk to the Committee.
We think. Maybe.
I never thought much of her accusations in the first place, but wanted to hear what she had to say. Like other observers, I thought it's possible that she's telling the truth, albeit I was very skeptical of that. To me, it was more likely that she has a confused memory of events.
But as time goes on and her bitchy-ass attorney turns up the "Obnoxious" dial and plays for more and more and more and more time, my willingness to believe approaches zero.
The key is the delay, delay, delay, attack-everyone and delay, delay, delay. That's not a complainant who's certain of the story. That's someone who is NOT certain, and who is being goaded, pushed, dragged, into the ring.
Thus we can conclude that yes, indeed, it's just politics. Exceptionally dirty politics. The Democrat Brand of politics--which will not end well.

Cross the Queers in Chicago? You're OUTTA There!!
NOTE CORRECTION BELOW!!
UPDATED 9/23/2018
We mentioned that Cdl. Blase Cupich (a/k/a Blazing Cupcake) will be bringing his scholarly Self to Franklin, WI. in the near future, and will share his understanding of FrancisTheology with the other attendees at this Francis Fest.
FrancisTheology is not shrouded in mystery, of course--unless it has to do with adulterous reception of Communion or the primacy of human life vs. fishies-in-the-sea, or the respective roles of the ecclesia docens and the ecclesia discens. And it's consistent with the Cdl. Cupich Theology of 'Don't Disturb the Queers'. Pp Francis never disturbed them in Argentina, nor in Rome, nor in the USA. In fact, Francis promotes them and protects them.
And Cd. Cupich is his devoted follower.
Having thrown a remarkably effective Catholic priest out of Chicago only a few months ago, for some vague but not remotely serious offense against the Queers, Cupich struck again,
We don't need that crap, Eminence. Stay home.
Avoiding Martyrdom: Worshiping The State v. The Three Boys
This is Ember Saturday in September. The readings include a passage from Daniel, telling of the three boys who were thrown into the furnace because they would not worship Nebuchadnezzar.
...This is the single most frequently represented Biblical story in pre-Constantinian Christian art, since it reflects exactly the situation of the Christians in the Roman Empire, who were persecuted for refusing to worship the statue of the Roman Emperor. (Already in the New Testament, Babylon, the persecutor of the Jews, is twice taken as a symbol of Rome, the persecutor of the Christians, in 1 Peter 5, 13, and six times in the Apocalypse.)...
Failure to worship the god of The State remains the very best way to secure martyrdom since Babylon.
As a result, there's a good deal of State-Worship going on. Whether that 'worship' consists of ignoring The State's crimes (such as funding abortions) while taking The State's lucre (for various 'good' causes), or whether it's a bit less sophisticated like, for example, worshiping The State by turning over selection of Bishops to that State.....
Sometimes, ya'know, getting martyred isn't foolish, nor is it stupid. And sometimes, avoiding martyrdom is the Ultimate Stupid.

Which Part of This Is a LIE?
The shame of the UW Law school writes a bitchy-snotty note to Sen. Grassley. (She passed Bitchy-Snotty 400 in her UWLS curriculum with an A+)
ALL OF IT. Duh.
...many aspects of the proposal you provided via email, on September 21, 2018, at 2:33 pm, are fundamentally inconsistent with the Committee’s promise of a fair, impartial investigation into her allegations, and we are disappointed with the leaks and the bullying that have tainted the process, we are hopeful that we can reach agreement on details...Which part of the bitch-snot note is a lie?

Crying From the Pubbies
Wiggy is despondent.
...Right now, the Democrats are fired with enthusiasm, while the GOP is hanging on until it’s fired. Volunteers are scarce. You can’t even get Republicans to man the phones or throw candy at parades for candidates....
Really, James?
I have not been a member of the Pubbies for fifteen years or more, but showed up to make phone calls on behalf of GWBush (2nd campaign) and I marched in a parade, tossing candy, for an Assembly candidate who is currently an appeals court judge. (He won that race because of the candy-tossers!!)
My phone number has changed, but my email address has not, and it is simple to find anyone's home address these days. Intertubes and all that, ya'know.
Here's an idea, James, and you Pubbie Party bosses: ASK FOR HELP.
As to the (D) helpers: as usual, that party relies on unemployed or semi-employed people (like teachers, for example) and very often they even pay the help. Conservatives tend to work more than 6 hours/day, have families which need supervision, and stuff like that. Responsibilities, ya'know.
And as we've also mentioned, neither big campaign in this State has been particularly inspiring.

It Is Very Good To Be in the Lavender Mafia!
Interesting couple of news items from Neumayr.
Between the video and the print story, we learn that being a member of the Catholic priest/Bishop/Cardinal Lavender affords a lot of money.
A LOT of money, indeed.

U W Law's Current Shame
Imagine that!
The woman who demands that Western jurisprudence be shitcanned for her wacky-memories "client" is a UW Law graduate.
Examine her track record in donating to Far Left or Democrat (I repeat myself) causes and you discover that she can't seem to keep a job for very long.
Maybe that's because she doesn't like Western jurisprudence--you know, the stuff about 'facing the accuser' and 'defendant goes second'.
And she doesn't need any old white farts like Dershowitz running his privileged mouth, either.

Do We Really Want Cdl. Cupich Here?
We've mentioned a couple of times that Cdl Cupich (or Blazing Cupcake, if you're a Chicago cop) will be in the Milwaukee area October 8th, 5:00 PM, at Franklin's Sacred Heart School of Theology.
There, Cdl. Cupich will speak on 'The Theology of Pp. Francis.'
It's becoming more obvious exactly which "theology" he'll refer to; it's one he apparently knows.
...In April of this year, Bob Krankvich, a man now in his 30's gave a press conference alleging that he had been groomed, molested and raped over a period of many months in 1995-96 by Fr. Richard McGrath the former principal of Providence Catholic High School in New Lenox, Illinois.
Krankvich was 13-15 at the time.
Fr. McGrath retired and left the school at the end of 2017 amidst a cloud of suspicion in a separate case when a female student reported seeing gay child porn on his cell phone....
That's April. About five months ago. Although that's the Joliet Diocese, it was extremely well-covered by the Chicago Sun-Times. Several articles are referenced at the link. The Trib also ran an item about the boy-child porn on the priest's phone.
So?
[McGrath] now apparently "resurfaced" in the St. John Stone Friary in Hyde Park on Chicago's Southside, only yards away from both a preschool and a Catholic grade school.
Oh, it gets better.
Cdl. Cupich didn't bother to tell the NEXT-DOOR SCHOOLS about McGrath, nor his record.
Dear Cdl. Cupich: What IS "The Theology of Predator-Priests"?? Inquiring minds want to know.

Cuckoo-Nest Resident Judge Wm Conley
We are still stuck with Hobbesian wack-jobs in the Fed judiciary.
Like William Conley of Madistan.
A federal judge has ordered the state of Wisconsin and its insurers to pay for transgender transition surgery for its employees.
U.S. District Judge William Conley said there's no legal reason to exclude medically necessary care for the employees.
"Medically necessary?" It's "necessary" because the doctor here needs money to pay his bills. The underlying thing--tranny surgery--is fighting Mother Nature.
(We're still getting to the part where Conley goes completely cuckoo...)
The state argued that covering the surgery would insert it into the "business of encouraging surgeries meant to conform peoples' appearances to their own perceived sex stereotypes,"...
Whereupon Conley looked into his personal funhouse mirror:
Conley called that position "unhinged from reality."
Uh-huh.
We've often noted that the shove towards positive law will have serious negative consequences. Conley is simply pushing the ball further.
Good luck with that, cuckoo-doodle.
Meantime, I'll quote from a book review written by Fr. J. Schall, reviewing selected essays of Pp. Benedict.
....Many Christian thinkers, notably Jacques Maritain and John Paul II, have used this phrase “human rights” in a positive sense while, at the same time, they knew what the phrase meant in the tradition of Hobbes. Thus, they had to spend a good deal of time explaining why the “right to abortion” was not a “natural right” or why they were for some “rights” but not others. This Hobbesian form of “rights” dominates the contemporary public order. These “rights” are invented by the arbitrary will of man unrestricted by any outside criterion of right or wrong. The state facilitates the creation and enforcement of these rights in society. “Rights” to abortion, to choose one’s gender, or to same-sex “marriages” come from this source.
For Ratzinger, however, “man’s duty to obey God is a right vis-Ã -vis the state.” He sees this duty as a limit on the state. In this context, he recalls the tradition of Jacques Maritain. “For him [Maritain], the primary right of a people to govern itself can never become a right to decide everything.” The human mind does not “make” the truth but discovers it. The natural law relates to the truth of things. “The final element of the natural law, which at its deepest level intended to be a law of reason, in the modern era in any case, human rights have remained,” Ratzinger explained....
Crowley is using the Hobbes perversion, of course. But remember this: Hobbes was the one who describes human life as 'solitary, poor, nasty, brutish, and short.' What we see from Crowley et.al. (such as Kennedy, thankfully now retired) is what MAKES life what Hobbes described.
This is what "our betters" wish for us, eh?

Blasey-Ford's Very Conveeeeeeenient Demands
For someone who's on the edge of perjury, this babe has a lot of demands.
1) Wants to show up Thursday, not Monday. See: "Delay, delay, delay"
2) Doesn't want Kavanaugh in the room when she's inventing her story.
3) Wants Kavanaugh to testify first--so she doesn't HAVE to invent her story.
4) Wants to bring her security blanket. Or her shrink. Or maybe both. And her vagina hat.
5) Wants butter-brickle ice cream with Southern Comfort & sweet during testimony.

Yes, the Pope IS Losing His Grip
A while back, we asked if Pp. Francis was 'losing his grip.' At the time, he had homilized that "The Great Accuser" (Satan) was attacking the Bishops. Of course, that was not the case; faithful Catholics were raising ......ahhh......Cain......about the coverups of homosexual predators perpetrated by Bishops, Cardinals, and the Pope himself.
That was then. This is now.
Today, The Accuser has disappeared replaced by hypocrites.
Oremus!!

Uh-huh. The heat in the kitchen is boiling Francis' brain, I think. It's not so much a question of "If" as it is "When."Pope at Mass today: The Church is persecuted by hypocrites "within and without;" the devil is "strong with hypocrites," uses them to "destroy the Church." The "workhorse of the devil is hypocrisy," he is a "liar" who appears beautiful but "is an assassin" https://t.co/kdeAMC6Ymt— Edward Pentin (@EdwardPentin) September 20, 2018

Ms. Blasey Ford's High School Daze
Not really a pun, based on what her yearbooks have to say about How We Passed The Time.
More like How We Passed Out A Lot of Times.
Hell, she could have been assaulted by Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and wouldn't have known it.

God Is Not Nice, Pp. Francis
"God Is Not Nice" is the title of a short book (Ave Maria Press) written by a Marquette U professor, Ulrich Lehner.
The book has a number of interesting nuggets, one of them being this:
That "Nice God" thing is exactly what Pp. Francis wants us to believe. It won't end well.
The book has a number of interesting nuggets, one of them being this:
It is telling of our society that we have even turned God into a sentimentalist. In fact, many of our children learn from the first hour of Sunday school that God wants everybody to be happy. Some parents might object that a different image of God would terrify their children. I don't think so--and I am speaking with the experience of parenting five kids. Children have a natural sense of justice and of true joy. They understand that it would be bad if everyone were granted happiness in her own right, so that everyone can enjoy herself. ..........C.S. Lewis has summed it up like this: "We want in fact, not so much a Father in heaven as a grandfather in heaven--a senile benevolence," who lets us have a good time.(I'll let that 'senile' thing pass. It IS C.S. Lewis, after all...)
That "Nice God" thing is exactly what Pp. Francis wants us to believe. It won't end well.
(D) Desperation Well-Founded
The level of "Reeeeeeeeee Reeeeeeeeee" screeching from the D party since the crushing defeat of Hillary has grown in both intensity and frequency, culminating (so far) with the completely-invented smearing of a SCOTUS candidate, the release of an "anonymous" essay in the NYSlimes crowing about the Deep State's resistance, and the ongoing festering social disease known as 'Robert Mueller's investigation' into not-really-Russki-collusion, but some damn thing, who knows?
There's a reason for that.
The (D) Party is facing an existential crisis in the person of Donald Trump. He captured Ohio, Wisconsin, Pennsylvania, and Michigan--which the (D) slime thought that they owned. And he captured it by getting the votes of the Reagan Democrats--working-class men.
Since then, his poll numbers with Hispanics and blacks have gone straight up, as those people began to understand that the Trump economy has lots of jobs to offer, and the Trump immigration policies keep MS-13 and other criminal slime out of the American barrios.
Only the gays, the cat-lady/barren feminazis, and the .000000003% of voters who are trannies remain--plus a scattering of old white guys (and old white women) who cannot add 1+1 and get 2, anyway.
It's a crisis, alright. If they do not get their "blue wave", they may sink to the level of membership enjoyed by the Greens, or the Communist Party USA; IOW, their core membership.
Heh.

VW's "Era of Electric Cars Is Here"
Many of us listen to the Chris Plante show on 890 AM/Chicago in preference to the self-obsessed twit on 1130 AM/Milwaukee.
But twittery is not restricted to the hosts. There are the commercials, too.
VW is now pushing "the era of the electric car" through commercials on 890. Yah, what a deal those cars are!!
Unless you want to take a trip to, say, Atlanta in one. Then you'll have to find a public re-charging station.
There are perhaps 500 public recharging stations scattered around in 14 States at this time. That means there are more GAS stations in SE Wisconsin than there are public charging stations in the entire USA.
So if the 'era of electric cars is here,' they actually mean "here." At your house. That's all....

Evers' Taxes: Schools, Not Convicts
Good ol' Tony Evers has all sorts of ideas about spending more money on publik screwels.
A billion here, a billion there, property-tax increases, .....
It's almost as though the public schools are the ONLY line items in the State budget. State highways? Medicaid? Welfare? Prisons? DNR? State Parks?
Who needs all that crap when you can spend even more on schools?? After all, more money guarantees more quality, right?
Oooops. We forgot. Tony will also empty the prisons of the 'nice folks'. You know the ones: armed robbery, rape, battery, grand theft, dope-selling, gun violence.....but only HALF of them will be set free near your wife and daughter.
So yah. We'll spend less on "prisons."

The "Suicide" of a Buffalo Priest
This kinda rings a Dane County-sort of bell.
A priest in Buffalo NY is keeping a file on financial irregularities which all seem to tie back to a bunch of homosexual priests, including homosexual seminarian pipeline to Colombia, just like the one in Bernardin's Chicago and McCarrick's New Jersey.
That priest then has an argument with Chancery types and lets them know he has the goods, and will be taking the file to the Vatican embassy in D.C. (the nuncio.)
But a Clinton-cide happened. He "shot himself" in the back of the left side of his head. But there was no blood nearby, none on his hands--and his left hand had been near-useless due to earlier nerve damage.
Dead priests who investigate homosex networks. Think of Jack Ryan: "There is NO SUCH THING as co-incidence."

Dead priests who investigate homosex networks. Think of Jack Ryan: "There is NO SUCH THING as co-incidence."
"Heavily Armed" Shooter in Middleton?
It is good that the authorities put down the Middleton shooter.
In the follow-up presser, the chief of police stated that the shooter was "heavily armed."
He had one pistol and a lot of loaded magazines.
ONE pistol.

Gov. Moonbeam's "World Order"?
The ex-Jesuit-wannabee Jerry Brown, governor of the land of fruits and nuts, has an opinion.
...“We never had a president who was engaged in this kind of behavior. I mean he’s not telling the truth; he keeps changing his mind; he’s sabotaging the world order in many respects,” Brown said....
Exactly whose "world order" is that, Jerry? The one in which the USA was the whipping boy and financier for everyone else? The one in which the USA bowed and scraped to tinpot dictators and well-fed United Nations limousine-rider twits? The one which providedcannon fodder soldiers to "build democracy" in deserts? The "world order" under which the USA provides all the defense money for the cheese-eaters and Mercedes-builders, and ALSO provides them with the largest marketplace on Earth, while they screw the bejabbers out of OUR export industries?
Jerry, that's YOUR "world order." The one Americans prefer? Not like that at all.
STFU, Jerry.

Not Just Wrong. Horribly, Titanic-ally Wrong!
Here's the headline for some piece written by a completely brain-dead lefty:
No. But I'll take "ANGRY" for $10 Large, Alex.
What an utterly ridiculous assessment of the situation. One wonders if the author actually knows any real men.

Thank You, Sen. Grassley
Well, OK, then. I'll pay another year of corn-a-hole ransom!
“Dr. Ford’s prepared testimony and biography are due to the Committee by 10 a.m. on Friday September 21, if she intends to testify Monday,” Grassley said.
And if it's not there, screw her. Kavanaugh becomes an Associate Justice.
Some sources report that Kavanaugh has an air-tight bomb-proof alibi.
(I'll still pay a large amount to watch Mrs. K get into the ring with the psychotic Ms. Ford.)

Is Some Dweeb at DOJ Following You?
O'Keefe finds a DOJ employee who stalks private citizens using DOJ resources.
Why does she do this?
Because as a loyal member of Democrat Socialists of America (a/k/a Traitors, Inc.) that's her job.
Maybe just "draining" the swamp will not suffice. How about pushing the whole damn thing into Chesapeake Bay? Yah....it might be messy and all, but........

The Psycho Ms. Ford Backs Out
Well, we all knew it. She won't put her money where her mouth is.
Ms. Ford won't show up until the Feebs investigate her claims.
Only problem is that the Feebs won't do that, and said so last week. She knows that, her lawyer knows that, and so does Feinswine-from-China.
Confirm him. If it's proven that she's right (wanna take that bet???) impeach him then.
(Here's hoping that Mrs. Kavanaugh encounters that psycho in a dark alley some time. Only one of them will walk out under her own power, and I'll lay odds it won't be the psycho from California.)

Swamp-Tears Over Declassification
The WashExaminer found a LOT of Swamp-creatures who are crying and wailing about how AWFUL it is that Trump declassified the FISA application which led to the Swamp's spying on his campaign.
Surprised?
...Trump told his Justice Department and the Office of the Director of National Intelligence to initiate the "immediate declassification" of the documents last week. The order appeased Republican lawmakers who are trying to uncover bias in the government against Trump's campaign.
The order upset the president's opponents who say he is trying to undermine and distract from the investigation into possible collusion between his campaign and Russia, which is being led by special counsel Robert Mueller....
Yes. Well, after 18 months and $18 million, Mueller hasn't found a damn thing. Look at it this way: Trump's trying to help the poor bastard and all his little bastards.
When John Brennan, Mark Warner, and DOJ 'figures' agree on something, it's NOT in the national interest; it is in THEIR interest.
Remember that these jackwads are also spying on YOU. Every day. All day. And they are lying about it.

Feinstein: "Ford Isn't Entirely Truthful"
Surprise!
...Feinstein isn’t sure if Ford is being totally truthful. From Fox News’ Chad Pergram, Feinstein said, that Ford “is a woman that has been, I think, profoundly impacted, on this…I can't say that everything is truthful. I don't know."...
Feinstein is ALSO not sure if Ford will show up on Monday for the hearing Grassley scheduled just for Ford.
This is a very good way for the Democrats to throw poo onto themselves.

Leah? Hello??
It appears that Leah Vukmir's campaign--so far--is not impressing anyone.
That's not a surprise. Leah has not presented herself as a pistol-packin' mama who will smack Mitch McConnell across the head and make Ted Cruz the next Majority Leader. She mentions The Wall only in passing and--by the way--never says she'll address the Republican Deficit Monster.
Nor has she hammered Little Tammy Do-Nothing for being a vacuum-skulled backbench twit-with-good benefits. That's all Tammy ever was, and ever will be.
Did Leah's Campaign Geniuses notice that as soon as Trump slapped on the steel/aluminum tariffs on ChiCom products (which were ENORMOUSLY POPULAR) that Tammy came out with her "Me, Too!!!" ad about Neenah Foundry? That dink Baldwin never thought ONCE about industry in Wisconsin until Trump showed us that it is important to the people who vote their wallets.
In short: Leah has not run against The Establishment, and Leah has not hammered her utterly useless opponent. Apparently The Geniuses told her to pack up her pistol and pull out the Pink Parasol.
The polls show it.

Dear Sen. Grassley: Be a Man
OK, Chuck. We've paid plenty of ransom for your damn corn-a-hole game.
You owe us.
So man up for a change. Tell the Ford woman that if she doesn't show up personally on Monday morning, 0800, the "hearing" will become a vote to move forward from Judiciary.
Otherwise, just retire. You're too damn old to fight, so get off the field.

Hello? Hello?? Paging Dr. Ford!!! Hello???
It seems that Dr. Ford, the attackee, doesn't want to show up for the specially-scheduled hearing that the Pubbies put on the schedule just for her.
That's after she said she WOULD show up.
Hmmmmm.

Cdl. Dolan Keeping a Lid On It??
Interesting. Apparently Cdl. Dolan's Archdiocese is about to undergo a thorough investigation by the local district attorney, and *POOF* suddenly his Vicar General, Mgr Mustaciolo, takes a new job.
Hmmm. The Vicar General is the #2 dude. Been around for a long, long, time. Knows where all the bodies are buried, and the names of the ones still walking around.
Hmmmm.
....sources claim he [Mustaciolo] has known for decades about other active gay priests in New York, and that he works to protect them and shelter them from the public eye — and that Dolan has him in place in large part for this purpose....
That's interesting because of the highlighted text--that Dolan ha[d] him there to keep a lid on the pervert-priest parade.
It's logical to assume that +Dolan used the same technique here in Milwaukee, and that one part of that was to kick Fr. Bryan Massingale--notorious homosexualist--over to Georgetown U. In the corporate world, that's called a "lateral arabesque": moving a problem not up, but sideways, to get him out of the way.
Was Barbara Kusack, +Dolan's Chancellor-ette, busy swatting the metaphorical gophers-on-the-golf-course for him, too? Who's doing it now? Can *Listecki succeed in keeping the lid on?
Stay tuned.

Thanks For Puritan/Fundamentalist?
Unlike France, the United States has a strong current of Puritan/Fundamentalist in its national blood. That may be the reason that the Catholic Church in the US is in (slightly) better shape than the one in France.
One stat tells all you need to know: only 1.7% of French Catholics attend Mass "regularly." And "regularly" doesn't mean weekly; it means monthly OR 'more often.'
One point seven percent.
...Cuchet, in fact, lays most of the blame at the feet of the French clergy. They failed, he says, in their duty to preach about sin, to preach properly on the work of a well-formed conscience, and to preach about the importance of confession and penance. Thus, the usefulness of confession became less obvious, as did the connection between confession and Holy Communion. In a word, Communion was trivialized and confession nearly non-existent.
Cuchet also claims that the French clergy stopped preaching about the Four Last Things — death, judgment, Heaven, and Hell — “as if they had stopped believing in it themselves.” French priests, he says, in effect “paved the way to Heaven.” They gave the distinct impression that the path was no longer narrow and steep, but was now a wide, well-travelled thoroughfare. In a sense, wonders Cuchet, doesn’t that essentially mean the end of salvation? If one does not believe in sin, why the need for salvation? If there’s no need for salvation, why bother with Jesus Christ? If we needn’t bother with Jesus the Savior, why go to Mass? Why belong to the Church? Why identify as Christian? The rhetorical answer to those questions leads back to the astounding statistic that only 1.7 percent of French Catholics attend Mass even once a month. ...
Yah, well, maybe that new funeral Mass celebrating the Resurrection should be tossed out and the black vestments and Dies Irae should be brought back. And memorized.
Meantime, thank that Calvinist neighbor you have. His ancestors here prolly kept you Catholic (in their own way, of course.)

Kavanaugh and the Whitewater Groper
There's a very important distinction between the allegations surrounding Judge Kavanaugh and Pete Hill, currently the husband of the Chancellor of UW-Whitewater.
The difference? Pattern of practice.
The Whitewater Groper, Hill, has had three complaints filed. His denials are pure crap; he did it, and probably did a lot more over the years which went un-recorded because the girls did not come forward to complain. There was a pattern here: the victims were students or student-workers or young, female, non-student campus workers. They were all groped while at some campus function. (Hill's wife, the Chancellor, was usually present, too.) And the behavior was repetitive.
With Kavanaugh, there is no "pattern of practice." The reported event is a one-off, and no other woman who knows him now (or knew him in high school) reports any similar behavior at all. More than four dozen women have signed affidavits testifying to Kavanaugh's propriety and courtesy.
Anything is possible, of course. But the legal standard in any harassment case is "pattern of practice," which was obvious in, say, the Weinstein, Charlie Rose, Lauer, and Moonves cases.
The opposition party would prefer--as usual--that 'the gravity of the charges' overcome the notable lack of evidence. We'll see how that plays; Republicans are noteworthy for lack of spine.

Need Some More CATHOLIC Demonstrators!!
Two events upcoming which will be picketed.
1) The "retreat" for homosexual priests and deacons being given by Milwaukee's own little homo-heretic, Fr. Bryan Massingale. The picketing begins October 2nd at 3:30. An exorcism rite will be read by laymen UNLESS a priest also stops by, in which case the priest will lead it. Bring your rosary and holy water! 5637 Erie St., Racine, WI. Park on Kentwood St. off Erie.
2) The Blather-Fest on the Theology of Pp. Francis. This little gathering will include the Cardinal of Chicago, Blaise Cupich (a/k/a "Blazing Cupcake"). (Voris thinks that Cupich should resign.) A nice turnout here might help him understand that this is NOT a rabbit hole. Please bring lots of plastic straws and your Rosary. October 8th (Monday) 5:00 PM at Sacred Heart Seminary (!!) 7335 S. Hy. 100, Franklin, WI 53132. Same as above: an exorcism prayer will be read (or led).

We'll Learn More on Ms. Ford
The woman who is accusing Kavanaugh is a psychologist in California who first disclosed the attack* during a couple's therapy session.
Oh.
And Cernovich advises that she's been scrubbing her Facebook/Twitter accounts like crazy for the past few days. But she didn't move fast enough, so stuff will emerge. Like the "Act Blue" donations you can already view.

Memo to Walker: Don't Play on Evers' Field
OK, so Evers is a fiscal inebriate, so long as the money goes to his pals.
Scott Walker should NOT try to out-spend Evers on education, because that's a bottomless pit.
How about debt reduction? Highway completions? Tax reductions? Medicaid assistance for thousands? More jobs than people? The Wall? ooops....

The Silent 'Parrhesia' of Francis: 2 Full Years
Pope Parrhesia (the Holy Francis) will trip across the two-year anniversary of the Dubia on his encyclical "The Joy of Sex" Amoris Laetitia.
As we all know, Pope Parrhesia has not answered the Dubia, thus leaving certain German (and American) Bishops to sanction the reception of Communion to divorced/re-married (but not annulled) couples. It also leaves open the much more ugly possibility of administering Communion to "married" homosexuals.
That will be Wednesday, September 19th. the Feast of St. Januarius, Bishop and Martyr.
Some Bishops died for dogma. Others merely prance about in white.

+Listecki's "Yes and No" Dance
Well, last night (Saturday) the Archbishop of Milwaukee offered a "penitential service" for the homosexual-predator sins of Churchmen and gave a rather passionate talk on the matter. The service was NOT well-publicized (note the very sparse crowd) and apparently Channel 58 was the only news outfit which covered it.
Maybe that dis-interest on the part of news outfits explains the utter silence of +Listecki and his auxiliary bishops on Fr. Brian Massingale, or the festering pustule-question of ordaining homosexuals in the first place, or--for that matter--OTHER un-natural sexual practices, with or without the benefit of marriage?
Or maybe it's just .....well......let's see what Reno has to say:
...Yet among church leaders there’s no stomach for a battle over gay sex between consenting adults, not even when one of them is a clergyman. Narrowing McCarrick’s transgressions to sex with minors and abuse of power accords with our culture’s morality of consent. This approach indicates that the ecclesiastical establishment wants to operate on safe, secular terrain, not the Church’s tradition, which has become painfully controversial....
Reno goes on to describe the far-more-general crisis in the Church, and uses Vatican II as a landmark after which things simply went out of control. But it's fair to say that the "Yes and No" dance of +Listecki flows directly from what Reno observes. Reno phrases it as a maxim (spoken or not) of Church governance: "Avoid opposing extremisms."
"Yes", says the Archbishop, "there are bad priests."
"No", says the Archbishop, "I can't do anything to shut them up."
At some point in time, the Archbishop's "Yes and No" dance will come to a very bad end, for the "extremism" of Right Order cannot be avoided and cannot be denied without cataclysm.
Oremus.

That "Human Dignity" Lie, Again
R. R. Reno, editor of First Things, mentions Frs. J. Keenan and J. Martin (both Jesuits) because both of them use the "human dignity" lie in espousing queer marriage.
(A variation of that lie was invented and used by Milwaukee's very own Fr. Massingale, who will be spreading his moral poison in Racine early next month.)
Gee. Where have we heard the "human dignity" lie before?
Yes, indeed!!! When Pp. Francis attempted to change constant Church teaching about the death penalty, he used the "human dignity" lie, too. And as we mentioned yesterday, Amnesty International has picked up that perverse little pattern to attack the Second Amendment.
The "human dignity" reality is very different from what those Jesuits propose, of course. Human dignity is founded--exclusively--on the truth of human nature, which excludes homosexual sexual activity (and un-married sexual activity, and marital sexual activity utilizing artificial contraception, too!).
That same truth of human nature allows self-defense and the defense of others, which is the bedrock underlying defense of the State, which includes by extension the utilization of the death penalty. (The death penalty is also protected by retributive justice, but that's another discussion.)
Ahh....the legacy of Pedro Arrupe, eh!! It's just as bad--or maybe worse--than what Malachi Martin had thought.

Prayer To St Michael
This is the original version written by Pope Leo XIII. Good places to use it include the Chancery offices nearest you, or your own parish church after Mass. (Translation by Dom Capisco, Ph.D.)
Glorious Prince of the Celestial Host, St. Michael the Archangel, defend us in the conflict which we have to sustain against principalities and powers, against the rulers of the world of darkness, against the spirits of wickedness in the high places. Come to the rescue of men whom God has created to His image and likeness, and whom He has redeemed at a great price from the tyranny of the devil. It is thou whom Holy Church venerates as her guardian and her protector; thou whom the Lord has charged to conduct redeemed souls into heaven. Pray, therefore, the God of Peace to subdue Satan beneath our feet, that he may no longer retain men captive nor do injury to the Church. Present our prayers to the Most High that without delay they may draw His mercy down upon us. Seize the Dragon, the old serpent, which is the devil and Satan, bind him, and cast him into the bottomless pit, that he may no longer seduce the nations. Amen. There ya go!!
Shopping Done Right
Ahhhh. Another guy who knows how to shop!
...when we shop, we do it like men: we don't dilly-dally, price-check, and flit between seventeen places. We go where we go, find our prey, hunt it, kill it, bag it, tag it, and scuttle home with it to enjoy our purchase the same flipping day we bought it, which was the only reason to venture out of the man cave to begin with. And even then, only after looking at it and holding it in our own hot, grubby little mitts to satisfy ourself that it's what we wanted to begin with, and didn't get stabbed by a forklift fork or trampled by a rogue herd of buffalo before paying for it....
That was occasioned by a discussion of the Death of Retail Brick & Mortar.

Y'all know that a female Dallas PD officer shot and killed her upstairs neighbor.
And then she lied-by-omission about a very important detail: motive.
Of course, the DPD "searched" the apartment of the dead guy (it was Murder One, not 'manslaughter') and announced to the world that they had "found marijuana." Well, maybe. And maybe the DPD placed it where they could find it.
The DPD should have just owned it. She was PO'd at the guy because he had the gall to get out of bed earlier than she did; she pounded on the door, and when he answered, bang-bang.
She's what you call a "bad hire," just like the drunk that the Milwaukee cop shop hired. Fire 'em, put them in slammer, move on.

Amnesty Int'l Uses Pp Francis Gambit
The Holy Pp. Francis recently changed the Catholic Catechism's treatment of the death penalty on the grounds that the DP is a violation of human dignity.
Apparently this 'violation of dignity' thing--mutatis mutandis--was picked up by Amnesty International. (You should not be surprised.)
Come to think of it, so is the position of The Holy Francis on the death penalty.

American gun violence is “a human rights crisis” and the US government’s refusal to pass gun control laws represents a violation of its citizens’ right to life, according to a new report by Amnesty International.Well, yes, AI's position is utterly ludicrous.
“The USA is failing to protect individuals and communities most at risk of gun violence, in violation of international human rights law,” Amnesty argues. “The right to live free from violence, discrimination and fear has been superseded by a sense of entitlement to own a practically unlimited array of deadly weapons.”
Come to think of it, so is the position of The Holy Francis on the death penalty.

This Will Be Next in Kavanaugh Gauntlet
For the time being, only the Babylon Bee knows about this.
...While several Democrats have simply questioned Kavanagh’s prior political opinions, a growing contingent within the Party is demanding that the nominee submit to a DNA test in order to prove that he’s not literally Adolf Hitler.
“History books claim that Hitler committed suicide by ingesting cyanide and then shooting himself in the head, but we don’t know anything for sure,” said Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ). “Wouldn’t it be just like this president to choose Hitler to serve on the Supreme Court?”...
"Depends" Leahy will be the one who makes the request.

The Stone-Silent +Listecki (and +Haines and +Schueman)
Go ahead, scan the Catholic Herald--the official newspaper of Archbishop Listecki. I'll wait.
Done? What have you read about The Scandal? Since mid-August, what did the Milwaukee Bishops (all of 'em) say about Cdls. McCarrick, Tobin, and Wuerl? Or Cdl. Cupich? The Pope's potential complicity? The testimony of +Vigano? Or the recently-resigned Bish in West Virginia?
Or the homosexualist priest coming here to spread dissent--one Fr. Massingale?
Hint: nothing new since +Listecki mewled that he 'has no power.' (The hell he doesn't; I'd be happy to join him at the airport to push Massingale onto an OUTbound plane as soon as he arrives. But manhood-stuff, well, we just don't do that, ya'know. That's Bitter Clinger stuff. Deplorable stuff.)
Dreher, meantime, has been all over this. Maybe Jerome Listecki should read a bit.
Here's a chilling item:
...Speaking in a frankly apocalyptic vein, BXVI’s secretary [G. Gaenswein]— think of that! — said these days make him think of the Bible’s warnings that in the Last Days, believers will see “the abomination of desolation in the holy place.” He said that he wonders, along with Cardinal Eijk of the Netherlands, if the Church is facing its final trial before the Second Coming....
So what is the Stone Silent Jerome Listecki going to say when he meets St Pete? "I just didn't have the power to silence a known heretic and homosexualist who was spreading his poison in my Archdiocese, see? I was too busy doing other stuff, like greeting Cdl. Cupich and stuff like that, see? In fact, I was SO busy, that I didn't have the time to ask one of my Auxiliaries to speak or write on the matter, either, see? And of course, Weakland and Sklba, well, who cares what THEY say about homosexual priests, see?? Please understand!! Pretty please!!!!???!!??"
Oh, that'll sell, Excellency.
Better that you simply remain stone silent when Pete quizzes you about your shepherd-ing here. You do silence very well, indeed.

Sen. Sasse Thinks You're Really Stupid
The college president moves into Barnum mode. Maybe the 'college president' thing was just an act, eh?
Sen. Ben Sasse (R-Neb.) is introducing a wide-ranging series of ethics bills today that would require presidential candidates to release their tax returns and try to curb big money influence in politics by banning members of Congress from lobbying after they step down from office....
We all know that Senators, somehow, become VERY rich while in the US Senate. They do not get rich due to 1040-reportable income, nor to massive bribes. They get rich because they know, *magically* which industries or companies are going to be hurt or helped by upcoming regs or laws, and their investment portfolio shows that. House Pervert-and-Speaker Hastert bought just the right land at just the right time, *magically* when an Interstate highway was being plotted in D.C.
And when it isn't their personal fortune, it's the fortune of their wives and/or children. See, e.g., the Biden family's miraculous moneymaking in Red China.
We all know that "income tax records" are pretty much irrelevant, but Barnum from Nebraska thinks you're stupid enough to buy tickets to his circus.

Fake "Harassment" Call on Kavanaugh
Typical scumbag (D) low-road.
An anonymous female (?) sent a missive to China-Spy Feinstein a few months ago alleging that Kavanaugh attempted to rape her after locking her into a high-school classroom.
Uhhhhmmmmmnnnnnn....
Witness absolutely refuses to be identified, of course (just like the "anonymous" who supposedly is a "senior" player in the Administration.)
Why, sure!!
I have a question: if Kavanaugh really attempted a rape during high-school, where was this shy and retiring violet Anonymous when he was nominated for the Court of Appeals in 2008?
Attempted rape is serious; it's not like using double-entendre language, or pulling a ponytail. What, did this "victim" suddenly wake up from a 35-year nap?

Paul Ryan Showing (More) Signs of Madness
It's kinda sad to watch. Paul Ryan wanted to be a fiscal reformer, but after several years as Budget Chair, then Ways & Means Chair, then Speaker, he has utterly, horribly, terribly, failed. The deficit and accumulated debt under Ryan's "watch" has gone damn near straight up.
Then Ryan's disorder manifested with his not-too-subtle NeverTrumpist distemper; he won't fund The Wall, and has resisted outright torching and burial of ObozoCare. So much for his concern about US citizens, eh?
Now Ryan goes closer to Full Cuckoo-Nest Mode, speculating that yes, indeed, more than 3,000 people died as a result of the double-hit hurricanes. And of course--implicitly--that was Trump's fault, too.
Maybe Ryan knows that "life" is the 100% precursor of "death." But I'm beginning to doubt that he understands that--or that he really cares.

Claim: Press Has 300-Page Vatican Dossier
Wowza, Lordy....
A US church-news outfit reports that an Italian journal has 'seen a copy' of the 300-page dossier given to Benedict XVI. The dossier contains documented allegations of fraud, theft, and homosexual networks in the Vatican.
The investigation was commissioned by B-16, but when it was completed and he got the results, he resigned the Papacy in favor of having a younger, stronger, Pope to conduct the cleanup.
Well, the Augean stables remain mostly full of sewage.
The good news: the document may well emerge to the general public. Be prepared. Pray.

H-1B Rumors at Northwestern Mutual
Google makes news by bragging about its 10,000 H-1B indentured servants--foreigners that Google brought here to work in IT who are absolutely and utterly dependent on the good graces of Google management if they want to remain in the USA.
Yah, well, it's age discrimination that's called "cost-cutting." In IT-dependent firms, "age discrimination" consists of dumping US citizens over the age of 35 (!! yes, indeed) into the sewer.
Anyhow.
A friend tells me that Northwestern Mutual is RUMORED to have gotten caught with a hatload of H-1B types who were not eligible for US employment, or perhaps who were not competent for the work NML had for them. It's all rather vague; could be that their vendor is crooked, or there was some sort of kickback scheme--
Or it could be none of the above.

FEMA Is Not Your Mommy
The Social-Fascist (aka 'Democrat') Party, along with Rachel MadCow and other propaganda outlets, attemps to discredit Trump by lying about FEMA's responsibility.
Social-Fascists portray FEMA as a Mommy who is abandoning her children (because of the mean, drunk, wife-beating Daddy).
Well, that's their story, and they're sticking to it.
Funny; that wasn't the case when The Precious was President, was it?

"Unregistered Ammunition"? What the Hell????
Some young kid working as an intern for Ted Cruz got nailed for possession.
No...not dope.
"Unregistered ammunition."
Seriously. That's a thing in Swampland.
The kid is learning that there is DC, and then there is the rest of the USA, which is the land of the free and the home of the brave. As to DC.....it's the home of Congress and other cancers.

A Reminder About Cdl. Law
A blogger who lives in Boston and has a long, long, record of activism reminds us of the facts regarding Cdl. Law.
...I've read numerous people who compared what's happening now to Cardinal Law. I vehemently disagree. No matter what the MSM tells you, folks.
The counterinsurgence now at play is exact opposite overthrow of power that occurred in 2002.
Every priest on this list, who planned, plotted and took part in the coup to overthrow Cardinal Law was affiliated with homosexual promiscuity. Every last one of them. They either taught it, practiced it, or both - and this group overthrew Law because he was an enemy of their agenda. Let that sink in.
The episcopal targets of the counter-coup currently underway are affiliates of homosexual promiscuity. Two coups are antipodal....
Puerto Rico Politics, Explained
Heard this yesterday on the radio. A native Puerto Rican man 'splained the politics in that long-suffering island this way:
There are two parties. One is the Bernie Sanders party, the other is the Hillary Clinton party.
The latter is considered "conservative."
Puerto Rico has almost no useful roads and its electric utility has not done normal maintenance since maybe 1960 or so. And by the way, the government there is almost as corrupt as the Department of Justice/FBI is onshore.
So yah. Two hurricanes in a row and *poof* it's all Trump's fault.

History of Politics, Explained!!
Many of you have wondered how Communism and Fascism started.
Wonder no more!! The eminent political historian, Sergei Brin, has answered!!
Boredom.
Yes, that's what he said, and he's rich, so he must be exceedingly smart. Boredom was the father of Communism and Fascism.
Another very very very very very smart guy there (I dare to use "guy", but don't know for sure) declared that the very same Boredom resulted in the election of President Trump.
Now that those questions are settled, academics and less-very-very-very-very smart people (like the Stupids that inhabit flyover country) can investigate something else. Like why the very-very-very-very-very-smartest people in the world wear beanies with propellers at company meetings.

"National Popular Vote" Is Back.
Shrillary Rotten Clinton has been pushing this for about 7-8 years.
It's simple: instead of that silly old Electoral College thing we have now, where "winner takes all" E.C. votes from a State.....
....the "NPV" method will allow States to band together...
...an agreement among a group of U.S. states and the District of Columbia to award all their respective electoral votes to whichever presidential candidate wins the overall popular vote in the 50 states and the District of Columbia.... (wiki)
Some Michigan (D) leggie introduced a bill to put Michigan into that bunch.
Why would the Democrat Party be pushing this? Here's a part of it:
...The Immigration Reform Law Institute said that from 2012 to 2016 there were "39 million instances where names and Social Security numbers on W-2 tax forms did not match the corresponding Social Security records."...
Same reason they will fight The Wall tooth and nail, and why they prefer No Borders.
