(A) Any person who—

(i)

knowing that a person is an alien, brings to or attempts to bring to the United States in any manner whatsoever such person at a place other than a designated port of entry or place other than as designated by the Commissioner, regardless of whether such alien has received prior official authorization to come to, enter, or reside in the United States and regardless of any future official action which may be taken with respect to such alien;

(ii)

knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, transports, or moves or attempts to transport or move such alien within the United States by means of transportation or otherwise, in furtherance of such violation of law;

(iii)

knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that an alien has come to, entered, or remains in the United States in violation of law, conceals, harbors, or shields from detection, or attempts to conceal, harbor, or shield from detection, such alien in any place, including any building or any means of transportation;

(iv)

encourages or induces an alien to come to, enter, or reside in the United States, knowing or in reckless disregard of the fact that such coming to, entry, or residence is or will be in violation of law; or

(v)

(I)

engages in any conspiracy to commit any of the preceding acts, or

(II)

aids or abets the commission of any of the preceding acts,

shall be punished as provided in subparagraph (B).

(B) A person who violates subparagraph (A) shall, for each alien in respect to whom such a violation occurs—

(i)

in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(i) or (v)(I) or in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(ii), (iii), or (iv) in which the offense was done for the purpose of commercial advantage or private financial gain, be fined under title 18, imprisoned not more than 10 years, or both;

(ii)

in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(ii), (iii), (iv), or (v)(II), be fined under title 18, imprisoned not more than 5 years, or both;

(iii)

in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(i), (ii), (iii), (iv), or (v) during and in relation to which the person causes serious bodily injury (as defined in section 1365 of title 18) to, or places in jeopardy the life of, any person, be fined under title 18, imprisoned not more than 20 years, or both; and

(iv)

in the case of a violation of subparagraph (A)(i), (ii), (iii), (iv), or (v) resulting in the death of any person, be punished by death or imprisoned for any term of years or for life, fined under title 18, or both.

...Milwaukee Police Association President Alex Ayala released the following statement:

"I have personally reviewed the officer’s body-worn camera video of the incident. While I will not interfere with the independent investigation or disclose every detail of footage that has not yet been publicly released, I cannot remain silent while a Milwaukee police officer is falsely accused of carrying out a "cold killing" or an "execution," as described by the attorney and the family of the deceased."...

"The video shows Printis Smith fleeing with a gun in his hand, repeatedly disregarding the officer’s commands to get on the ground and becoming involved in a close-range physical struggle with the officer. In the final visible image before the gunfire, Smith still has the gun in his hand and his finger is engaging (or pulling) the trigger."...

It is unusual for Ayala to come out swinging this hard over a police shooting, which tells you something.

A Waymo vehicle pulled over around 4 a.m. on September 3 and police were contacted after the company detected a “violation of … terms of service involving a firearm,” according to the Los Angeles Times.

The incident involving two passengers occurred in San Francisco, where Waymo “cooperated fully” with police....

Oh.

What we really need in this country is more cameras. 

 

What Codevilla Suggested After 9/11

 Kennedy of the Committee on the Present Danger maintains--along with many others including Angelo Codevilla--that Saudi Arabian intel assisted the 9/11 Muslim terrorists.

Thus, Codevilla suggested that the US should have rounded up 5,000 members of the Saudi "royal family" and tried them in US courts as combatants, and execute the bastards.* 

We still could, ya'know.  Why not?

Here's Where Flock Is Going

 Jessica McBride and Ann Coulter both love Flock surveillance.

W.I.L.L. and a large number of others do NOT love Flock surveillance.

Forget for a moment the 4th Amendment discussions surrounding Flock (and Axon, etc.) surveillance.  They are a bit arcane and--as Jessica is often told--not easy for non-lawyers to understand.  You could even forget about Flock to some extent, as the Next Step (which needs Flock) is already here.

As Americans turn against artificial intelligence, AI companies are building programs to surveil and identify troublemakers in advance....

 An investigative report published this week by The American Prospect revealed that, “in addition to monitoring activists in the vicinity of Anthropic executives and keeping tabs on protests near physical Anthropic assets, the firm is also implementing a ‘pre-crime’ approach, attempting to predict incidents before they happen. In some cases, that also means reporting suspects to police before a crime occurs.”...

Oh.  

Before a crime occurs.  

You should read that again:  BEFORE a crime occurs.

 ...For example, last month, local media reported that Anthropic called the police on a man who told Claude that he bought an AR-15 and “had CEO Dario Amodei ‘in his sights.'”

Interestingly, while Anthropic was quick to call the cops, the company also refused to show police the messages. “In short, Anthropic reported a user for in-platform speech, and then refused to provide police with evidence of actual wrongdoing,” the Prospect pointed out....

What need have we of "proof"?  AI has accused and convicted the fellow.  Please incarcerate him.

About a week ago, the local nooz peeps (Ted Perry was one) were losing their [minds] over an appearance by an "ex-AI employee" who said that AI 'will kill us all.'

We saw the video of the kid making his statement and were slightly suspicious, but well, if we're all going to die, we're all going to die.  Man proposes, God disposes.

Now--in an essay that Ted Perry will probably NOT mention--some are saying that the kid was part of an op which included Obama as a central player.

 The “AI Apocalypse” scare campaign looks suspiciously like the climate hoax. How convenient that it’s come to a head right as the midterm election season kicks off this week....[It also reeks of Covid-19, by the way.]

The California Coastal Commission voted unanimously Thursday to approve a settlement requiring Attanasio’s company, 2XMD Partners LLC, to restore the damaged shoreline and dedicate the multimillion-dollar property for public use in eastern Malibu.

The company must also remove a private staircase and rock wall that the commission said blocked public access along the coast....

Who the Hell told you that you could rip up a shoreline because you own a house too close to the water?

The Security State: 9/11>Fauci>Flock

Davidson's Right: It's Religion

 Twenty-four years ago, we stated LOUDLY that the 9/11 event was a religion problem, contrary to the wish-casting of Bush the Dumber.

Maybe Davidson had written about that before we said it; maybe not.  Don't care.

Bush and the Cloud People (the Establishment) think in terms of money, prestige, and power.  Trump has the same problem, although sometimes less obvious.

Muslims and observant Jews think otherwise.  Christians worthy of the name think otherwise.

A  quarter-century removed from the terrorist attacks of 9/11, several things are now obvious that were not at all obvious to American elites in 2001 (although they should have been). Perhaps the most obvious, as I wrote earlier this week, is that the attacks inaugurated a religious war that we have lost, or at least are in the process of losing. The West failed to recognize the religious nature of the conflict because it was committed to a secular liberal account of the world that dismissed the role of religion and religious claims in shaping cultures and societies....

Davidson is right.  The Crusaders were right.  The Reconquista warriors were right.  Jan III Sobieski was right.

Mohammed was a Great Heretic, and no matter Shi'a or Sunni, his followers are, too.  A few are "peaceful."  But the not-so-peaceful ones in your neighborhood are not wearing signs, are they? 

Kapenga: NOT Just Another Politician

 Jessica did Waukesha County voters a big favor by interviewing both candidates for County Exec.

Looks like Kapenga is the better of the two. 

Why?

He is not just another politician.  He didn't work for another politician to 'get into the flow.'  He didn't do another politician's bidding--on virtually every issue--to gain a nice chair in Wisconsin's legislature. 

In contrast, Kapenga is a green-eyeshade hawk who knows what Government should--and should NOT--do.  He has a reputation for being prickly.  He earned it because he is not another "Go Along, Get Along" kind of guy.

Finally, unlike the Professional Political People, Kapenga has a sense of humor about it all.  That's a very good thing.

 

 

Trump Announces "Free Shit"!

We all knew before The Staircase that Trump was a Democrat.

He still is, although his brand of "Democrat" largely left the building with Adlai Stevenson.

Trump's fixation with money, however, has led him to a very dark place:  Free Shit!

Bishops Playing Politics

Seven US Bishops have told their people that they no longer have to attend Sunday Mass.

Because Meanies in ICE.

None of those Bishops had the courage to resist the FauciFraud, of course.  To do that would be just too..........Catholic. 

So thousands of Catholics died without the Last Rites; millions could not go to Confession, nor receive Holy Communion.  Funerals and weddings were cancelled, the latter (likely) at some cost to moral rectitude.

In one FauciFraud instance, a Catholic decided to attend Mass on a weekday.  There were 3 people in a church which holds 550; those three were the priest, a "security guard", and that Catholic.

The Catholic was thrown out of Mass.
