For Lack of 40K Votes, We Got Lefty Mad-Land
Kittle's column is dispiriting, to say the least. Every single Far-Left battle-axe and wackadoodle is going to be "advising" Evers. Killing babies, killing private schools, killing business.....
KILL 'EM ALL!!

Stupidest "News" Ever?
Apparently the news director at Channel Six can't find any actual news stories.
So he sends his reporters on Really Stupid Assignments like this one.
Watch the anchors' body language when they 'return to studio.' Pretty much says it all.

Boy Scouts BK? Thanks, Rex Tillerson!!
This is not a surprise.
Allowing homosexual leaders was fatal; the "girls here, too!!!" thing was secondary.
Rex Tillerson doesn't like Donald Trump, but then--unlike Tillerson--Trump didn't vote to allow homosexuals into the Boy Scouts, did he?
Or Robert Gates, another Highly Educated And Extremely Smart Member of the Establishment.
The Boy Scouts of America is considering declaring bankruptcy, according to a Wall Street Journal report.
The Wednesday report comes in the wake of sinking membership and multiple controversies surrounding the 108-year-old organization, including sex abuse allegations and its controversial decision to change its program name from Boy Scouts to Scouts BSA and allow girls into that program...

Will Vos and Fitz Keep Up With Rahm??
George Mitchell was a fresh-faced reporter for the Wall Street Journal when I first met him in the early '70's; now he's a major supporter of the RoadBuilders--so he kinda likes increased gasoline taxes. (He's probably not so fresh-faced any more.)
Alberta Darling decries the "condition of Wisconsin roads," apparently not having traveled on any of them for the last 5 years or so. (Wake up and smell the concrete, Alberta!!!)
And of course, Robin Vos and Fitz, who want to slam money into the RoadBuilders' pockets but haven't figured out how to do it without getting strung up or tarred/feathered.
Well, for George, Alberta, Robin, Fitz, (and the RoadBuilders), we have Rahm Emanuel, providing cover for their upcoming larceny.
It's not difficult to fill up before hitting Illinois; soon it will be an economic imperative.

...Mayor Rahm Emanuel and a group of suburban leaders on Tuesday called for a 20 to 30 cent per gallon increase in the state’s gas tax to fund a major statewide transportation bill....If you've been in the city of Chicago lately and purchased gasoline there, you know that it would certainly feel a little better with Vaseline. Twenty or thirty cents more?

Come and Get It, Juan!
We are amused.
You want $50 large, Juan? Come here and try to get it.
But before you try, answer this: can you run faster than 950 feet per second?
Two groups of Central American migrants marched to the U.S. Consulate in Tijuana on Tuesday with a list of demands, with one group delivering an ultimatum to the Trump administration: either let them in the U.S. or pay them $50,000 each to go home, a report said. --quoted at Ticker

Push-Button Start: Invitation to Grand Theft Auto
Lots of times, a car will be left someplace for another family member or friend to pick up. Maybe they're arriving at the airport and you just cannot meet them there to bring them home. So you leave the car in the parking lot with the key over the visor, or in the glove compartment, or in a "key-hide" magnetically stuck to the wheel-housing, or in the cavity for the gasoline filler-neck.
Whatever.
Now comes the push-button start car. Guess what?
That key, hidden in the car, allows ANYONE to jump in and start the car with the push of a button. The key merely has to be close to the push-button to allow the start......
Time to re-think your procedure, friends.

Solar Panel: Poisoning the Earth (!)
Nobody ever accused Al Gore of thinking ahead.
The ultra-conservative Mark Neumann is plastering New Berlin with those damn panels. Will Neumann recycle them, too? If so, where?
Random other question: what's a "lifetime" for a solar panel? Answer: maybe 30 years.
...The last few years have seen growing concern over what happens to solar panels at the end of their life. Consider the following statements:We are amused.
- The problem of solar panel disposal will explode with full force in two or three decades and wreck the environment because it is a huge amount of waste which is not easy to recycle. 1
- Solar panels create 300 times more toxic waste per unit of energy than do nuclear power plants.

Nancy's "Security" Like France's "Security"
Little Nancy, who deserves every bit of pee she got from Trump, doesn't really want "security."
Neither does the French government, which is Leftist, just like Nancy.
So there are problems.
NancySecurity!!

...The gunman who shot multiple victims in Strasbourg had previously been convicted and was known to French intelligence as a possible ‘security risk,’ yet managed to slip through the cracks despite tightened security across France....Four dead, 11 wounded.
NancySecurity!!
Border Security IS National Security, Nancy!
It was very, very, pleasing to hear Trump rip the snot out of Nancy and Chuckie.
BUILD THE WALL.

On Today's Situation, Secular and Religious
ZMan cannot be considered an optimist.
The part highlighted in red should be familiar to anyone who has discussed the documents of Vatican II with the Wack-A-Doodles who drool about the "spirit" of Vatican II. Same stuff, different venue, but when you come right down to it, it's lying to create moral superiority. Except, of course, there is little morality and the superiority is all in their heads.
...The people who rule over us, whether you wish to use archaic terms like Marxist or socialist, or you like neologisms like cosmopolitan globalists, they do not see themselves as bound by the letter of the law, because they see themselves as the spirit of the law. Tim Cook is not ready to declare himself a god, but he has declared himself the high priest of the new faith of the ruling class. There’s no mercy in the righteous and no reasoning with a fanatic.
Finally, the deafening silence from the people claiming to be in opposition to this growing tyranny, people like Ben Shapiro, is important. A lot of people on the dissident right think these anachronisms from a bygone age will wake up and begin to agitate on our behalf, but that will never happen. As has been explained many times, their real role is as defenders of the system. It’s why they hate Tucker Carlson so much. he actually talks about some of these things, thus exposing the perfidy of the Ben Shapiros of the world.

Taking Out the (GOP) Trash
Paul Ryan will be leaving in January. God is good.
There are others who will be leaving, too.
If the door doesn't hit you in the ass, just call. We know a lot of people who'd be happy to kick your ass to make up for it.
There are others who will be leaving, too.
Fourteen of the 23 GOP members who signed the cheap-labor Discharge Petition amnesty in June will be gone from Congress in January.
The group’s wipeout came after they worked with House Speaker Paul Ryan to block the pro-American, compromise immigration reform bill prepared by Virginia Rep. Bob Goodlatte, the chairman of the House judiciary committee.
In June, the 23 members used the discharge petition process to push for a Democratic-backed amnesty of at least 3 million DACA illegals. That push gave political cover to Ryan while he created a second immigration bill which successfully split the GOP caucus amid unanimous Democratic opposition to Goodlatte’s bill....

UW-Mad: It's Over by 2030
Yup. Pack your bags, sell the stuff.
By 2030, you'll be cooked, according to UW-Mad people.
Not sure about this, but eliminating hot-gas emissions from newspapers, politicians, and random professors (and all their air-travel) will prolly cure the ills.

Don't Visit Central Africa
The raconteur of the West Coast tracks Ebola outbreaks. Don't ask; it's what he does, among other things.
The central part of Africa is having a VERY serious outbreak. You can read the graphs and the "why?" part of the story at his blogsite right here.
That said, this could get extremely serious in Europe (and yes, in the USA, but not as easily) in the next few months.
Think before you book the flights.....

Sanctimonious Sludge
Yah, they're sludge.
Pretty much makes Trump--on his WORST day--nearly a saint in comparison.
We've already made our thoughts about the FEEBs (and the local wannabees such as John Chisholm and the State's Elections Board) pretty clear: they are sludge.
And, surprise!!! the "law" is on their side.
...The courts have ruled many times that prosecutors, FBI agents and police may lie, cheat, threaten, intimidate, coerce and deceive to extract cooperation and obtain evidence from witnesses....

The Sandbag of the Century?
David Goldman, a/k/a "Spengler" a few years ago, has been on the Far East news-beat forever. He knows whereof he speaks.
And here he puts forth a theory that the Deep State (Brennan's pals) sandbagged Donald Trump in the Huawei arrest.
Goldman thinks this could lead to very, very, serious stock-market and recessionary results.
So we owe the Deep State a lot of thanks, eh?

No Yellow Vests, Same Cause: Italy!!
As Belling often mentions, the MSM's best trick is NOT covering some stories. (That's closely related to Satan's best trick: persuading you he does not exist.)
Anyhow.
It's not just "co-incidence" that some Yellow Jacket demonstrators showed up in Brussels at the HQ of the EU. And perhaps it's not just "co-incidence" that an armored vehicle with EU markings (!!!) showed up in Paris. hmmmmmmm.
Anyhow.
...in Rome, a buoyant crowd of at least 50,000 celebrated six months of power for the populist coalition that won power in Italy.
[Quoting CNN:] Far-right Italian Deputy Prime Minister Matteo Salvini attacked same-sex unions and promised to put "Italians first" during a rally in Rome on Saturday, as his government remained locked in deadlock with the EU over its proposed budget....

Who Should Pay for GM's Stupidity?
The Federal law providing a non-refundable tax credit of $7,500.00 for purchase of a new hybrid or all-electric vehicle is about to expire on GM.
And due to its horrible marketing, GM is in a sweat.
See, GM's electric products are sedans (both are small, ugly, and not particularly comfortable.) But KIA, Hyundai, and Ford are bringing electric crossovers and SUV's to the market. This is trouble, as sedans of any kind are simply not selling. Actual, real-live "marketing" people could have told GM to get electric guts into its crossovers.
But GM has not had a Chief Marketing Officer for a few years. They didn't need one, ya'see??
Now GM, with plants in Red China, Canada, and Mexico, is closing US plants because nobody is buying sedans. Their electric-car biz is near dead (sales figures are abysmal) and is not helped by the ridiculously high price-tag ($36K for a 4-door Volt, about $10K above an otherwise comparable Cruze.)
In short, GM is stupid.
Now they're begging the FedGov to toss another $20 BILLION around to help their sorry asses out, while they shut down US production facilities.
Nope.

Twit Goodell and the Fall of the NFL
Saw the headline on this a couple of times, finally read the story.
There was never a doubt that Roger Goodell is a PC twit, but this kinda puts the icing on the cake.
The NFL's trouble with declining teevee ratings and revenues plus its trouble selling tickets for games (last week even Packer fans were noticeably absent from Lambeau) result from a combination of things including excessive hype, overexposure, greed, and PC crapola.
Las Vegas is building a stadium. I wonder if they'll be able to pay it off.

... Dallas Cowboys star Ezekiel Elliott is appealing his $13,369 fine for dropping $21 in a Salvation Army kettle following a score against the Washington Redskins.
“I mean, I didn’t really expect a fine, really don’t care about the fine,” Elliott told reporters. “It’s all for a good cause and we’re trying to bring awareness to the Salvation Army, and if the NFL doesn’t like that, then, I mean, that’s on them. I’ll pay their little fine.”...
