Israel--and the US--attacked Iran.
U.S. President Donald Trump told the Iranian armed forces to lay down their arms or face “certain death” and its people to rise up and “seize control of your destiny” as “major” strikes against Tehran commenced.
Joint American-Israeli strikes against Iran took place over night, with U.S. President Donald Trump addressing both the nation and the people of Iran. Announcing the strikes to eliminate “imminent threats from the Iranian regime” which “directly endangers the United States, our troops, our bases overseas, and our allies throughout the world”, Trump said: “A short time ago, the United States Military began major combat operations in Iran”....
This is commanded in the Bible, you know. It says that the US is required to bomb Persia back to the Stone Age on behalf of 'blessed' Israel. Says that in the same place that it says Iran is developing nuclear weapons to strike the US.
Or sumpin'sumpin. Just ask Ted Cruz, or Mike Huckabee. They are both renowned Biblical scholars and theologians.

Of all my tangents of thought about current events, the one that both intrigues and appalls me is the normalization of political assassination. Just another decapitation strike, to use the nonchalant phrasing of the day, to kill the head of the snake. I suppose this isn't new, beware the Ides of March and such, but I wonder if Trump would consider a posthumous pardon for Thomas Crooks, who was after all playing by the current set of rules, albeit at a minor league level. Look ... 0500 approaches so double check your thinking and pray for peace. P.S. remember people who explicitly disbelieve the message of Jesus, may not be acting on Christian values. - Mark78
