The Well-Coiffed ones will only say that the Epstein files "mention Trump" "thousands of" times.
CNBC's report is honest about that, but you have to get deeeeeeep into the story to find it:
... They included emails in which Epstein and others shared news articles about President Donald Trump, commented on his policies or his politics, or gossiped about him and his family....
Trump was (and still is) one of the most influential and wealthy people in NYC. Who KNEW that someone like him would be a topic of conversation?
Wait, wait!! There's more!!!
...Among the records was a spreadsheet, created just last August, summarizing calls that had been made to the FBI’s National Threat Operation Center or to a hotline set by prosecutors from people claiming to have some knowledge of wrongdoing by Trump.
That document included a range of uncorroborated stories involving many different celebrities, and somewhat fantastical scenarios, occasionally with notations indicating what follow-up, if any, was done by agents....
Read between the lines here. CNBC is admitting that a crapton of those "mentions" were uncorroborated tales and fantastical scenarios which the FEEBS--by and large--didn't bother to follow up on.
Huh.
The real tell?
None of those 'stories,' 'tips,' or 'fantastical scenarios' have been trumpeted (see what I did there?) by the NYT, WaPo, or MadCow. Not even Hakeem Jeffries has opened his yapper about them.
There's no there there.
Heh.

The blacked out redactions tell us everything about what Trump is hiding. Full transparency be damned. Heh.
