"Cash-less" Life One Day Closer

The mumbling about a "cash-less society" has been around for roughly a decade.  First it was the ultra-futurists talking to themselves about the reality of the debit/credit cards; then it went WEF-mainstream, and now the Federal Reserve is going to pilot a program.

...The Federal Reserve Bank of New York and several banking conglomerates are partnering on a 12-week “digital dollar” pilot program.

They will “explore the feasibility of an interoperable network of central bank wholesale digital money and commercial bank digital money operating on a shared multi-entity distributed ledger.”...

Old-fashioned NSA spying on you will be history.  Paper trails (even digital ones) are out.

Your revenue and spending patterns are MUCH more useful, Comrade.

You're eating too much?  We can shut your card out of groceries, restaurants, and delis.

You getting uppity?  We can shut your card out of those guns-and-ammo stores.

Using too much electricity?  Natural gas?  We can turn it off for you.

Of course, if you vote Democrat and stop going to church regularly, we could adjust...........
