Looks like IRS is thinking war or something.
We noticed that they are likely to add 80,000+ new agents. Rest assured, those kids will not be auditing the Big Boys--they'll be auditing Joe Hardware Store and Suzy Cookie-Vendor.
So IRS also stockpiled 5 MILLION rounds of ammo. Tough audits, eh? But it's more than just ammo:
According to a 2020 OpenTheBooks.com report, “The militarization of the U.S. Executive Agencies” included the IRS having 2,159 special agents, the spending of $21.3 million on guns, ammunition and military-style equipment between fiscal years 2006 and 2019, which included a stockpile of more than 4,500 guns.
Or maybe they're thinking Joe Hardware and Suzy Cookies won't take the boot-stomp-in-your-face lying down?
It's only 100K rounds/State. Pretty sure IRS is already out-gunned.
