A few weeks ago, the Kiel School District began a Title IX investigation/complaint against a couple of its students, alleging "sexual harassment" because those students "mis-pronouned" someone.
It is noteworthy that a music teacher pushed this silliness.
Wisconsin Institute for Law and Liberty hammered that District (see this letter, e.g.) and the District agreed to drop the entire matter (although there are a few actions yet to be taken.)
(If you read the linked letter, you'll also learn that some lawyers are not very competent, or are just plain liars. Sad what that profession has come to.)
One hopes that Kiel School District will pay an enormous settlement to the NOT GUILTY students, along with a hefty fee to W.I.L.L. That would be the right thing to do--but based on the Board of Education's non-apology/defensive nastygram, the "right thing to do" is not in their bag of tricks.
