Bishops Playing Politics

Seven US Bishops have told their people that they no longer have to attend Sunday Mass.

Because Meanies in ICE.

None of those Bishops had the courage to resist the FauciFraud, of course.  To do that would be just too..........Catholic. 

So thousands of Catholics died without the Last Rites; millions could not go to Confession, nor receive Holy Communion.  Funerals and weddings were cancelled, the latter (likely) at some cost to moral rectitude.

In one FauciFraud instance, a Catholic decided to attend Mass on a weekday.  There were 3 people in a church which holds 550; those three were the priest, a "security guard", and that Catholic.

The Catholic was thrown out of Mass.

Trump To Play Fair With Canada

Yes, indeed, Trump will "play fair" with Canada.

Contemptible Clancy RN's

The Clancy case, again.

Seems that there were three RN's on the jury, and they "provided information" to the jurors "based on their own experience and knowledge."

That's a serious no-no.

 ...Jurors are required to consider only evidence and expert testimony provided and cross-examined in court. They are not allowed to substitute their own expertise and then use that to pressure other jurors. As the judge explicitly stated in his instructions to the jury, “So if somebody has a question in that jury room, you are not allowed to try and answer it by anything other than through the exhibits and evidence you've heard.” This is the entire purpose of accredited experts in trials. And according to jurors in this very case, that instruction from the judge was deliberately and repeatedly violated by multiple pro-Clancy jurors....

No doubt that jurors across the land 'share their expertise' during jury deliberations, but this was the wrong place to do it.  

So yes, they should be brought up on Contempt-of-Court charges.  Maybe they'll get a juror who refuses to convict them.

 

Walker Goofed Up. Fix It!

 David Crowley has a problem.  Under his watch, jail inmates have are using FREE laptop or tablet computers to contact people on the outside.

In one case, a clearly-dangerous murderer used one to intimidate witnesses.

Crowley pinned the tail on the donkey elephant:

Kaul Wakes Up, Says Nothing

AG Kaul's semi-permanent slumber party was interrupted.

A few weeks after controversy erupted over Flock cameras, Josh Kaul's staff awakened him and told him they had a statement ready for him to read.

After ascertaining the date and time, Josh hauled his ample ass out of bed and faced the cameras.

What he said?

After that strenuous exercise, Josh went back to bed.

The Trump administration is drafting a Health and Human Services policy that would, for the first time, let a married parent who stays home with the children collect federal child-care money that Washington has spent thirty years routing almost exclusively to day-care centers....

There are conditions, of course, but this does NOT require new legislation--so the Democrats and RINOs will not be able to block it. 

Nice to see that the Trump gang prefers FAMILY to strangers--that is to say, they're stuffing Hillary-ism into the toilet.  That's appropriate. 

Good Question on Clancy

 We've largely ignored the trial, but someone who has not asks a very good question.

What HSI Should Watch in WI Election(s)

 Homeland Security--investigations division--will be working in Wisconsin before, during, and after the mid-terms.

They should be concentrating on these:

• Closed strip malls.

• Vacant lots.

• Government buildings.

• Apartment complexes without unit numbers.

• Small houses containing implausibly large numbers of registrations.

• Dormitories occupied by students who graduated years earlier. (Which would explain the bonkers results in college towns..)

Valentine stresses that these voters vote, and that Dhillon, Mullins, Fitton, etc., do not track whether their ineligible voters actually vote, therefore, this is not close enough analysis to matter.

Valentine cross-references these voters with a half dozen different government databases in order to identify them, and charges that the government at all levels is either sleepy, using outmoded software, or corrupt. Or, all three. The fact that the government does not check whether ballots go to eligible addresses allows for a massive pool of registered, citizen voters to be voted. To repeat, the voters are registered and citizens. They don’t exist....

They SHOULD be concentrating there.

But WILL they?

 Some say that Hegseth should be canned for his continuing purges of high-ranking officers.

On the other hand, maybe Hegseth hasn't gone far enough.

The Pentagon announced this week it has finally disabled advertising trackers on government-issued phones and computers across every branch of the U.S. military. The mobile advertising ID — the tiny piece of code that lets data brokers follow a single device across every app it touches, map where it sleeps, where it works, where it travels, and sell that information to anyone with a credit card — has been shut off....

"Finally"?  What does that mean?

 

In 2018, fitness app Strava published a global heat map of user activity that inadvertently revealed the layouts and patrol routes of secret U.S. military bases in Syria, Afghanistan, and Africa. The Pentagon scrambled. Nothing changed. In 2021, the Wall Street Journal reported that a U.S. military contractor demonstrated it could reconstruct American military operations in real time using nothing but commercially available app data from soldiers’ phones. The Pentagon took note. Nothing changed. In 2024, Wired magazine showed that the same commercial data streams could pinpoint U.S. military contractors at specific overseas locations — including, humiliatingly, German brothels.

Still nothing changed.

There are two questions:  "Who Profited?", along with "Who F'd Up?"
