To Cong. Mike Gallagher (R-Fake)

Although this (from Ace of Spades) was written to a Democrat US Senator, we note that Mike Gallagher--the one who voted to allow Churches to lose their tax exemption over Queer "Marriage" objections--is also railing on parents about their kids and Tik-Tok.  Oh--by the way--if YOU object to Queer "Marriage" you can be sued out of your home, too.

So yah, Gallagher:

Lying. It's What They Do!

The 'cost of fuel' lies that Democrats tell here apply to your home and to the utilities, too.

The Biden administration is casting its plan to phase out the use of natural gas in federal buildings in favor of clean energy as a "cost-effective" move that will save taxpayers millions each year.

That's baloney, according to a Washington Free Beacon review of federal data, which indicates that a Biden administration statement touting the plan's frugality excludes the administration's own findings on the increased cost of green energy sources as compared with natural gas.

In that statement, President Joe Biden's Energy Department says the proposed natural gas phaseout "would save taxpayers $8 million annually in upfront equipment costs," a figure that stems from the department's Dec. 6 estimate of the plan's budgetary impact. That estimate, however, also acknowledges that so-called clean electricity is roughly four-and-a-half times more expensive than natural gas, leading to "increases in energy costs across the board" that outweigh the savings on equipment expected under the plan. As a result, Biden's transition away from natural gas will actually cost taxpayers up to $5 million annually, the Energy Department estimate says, a statistic that does not appear in the department's statement....

That "real cost" is something you shouldn't know.  So you won't--unless you know where to look.

It's called "lying by omission."  Just one of the lying techniques perfected by Democrats.

You Asked for a Story. You Got One

JFK's Warning?

Some speculate that this was the speech that got JFK killed.  They're wrong.

1961, at the Waldorf-Astoria hotel.  He was talking about GloboCommie--which certainly was a threat.  At that time, it was largely external.  Now?

Mostly internal--but not the CIA, nor the FBI............at least not ostensibly.

Need a Good Laugh? Here!!

Breathlessly, the announcement!!

From Philadelphia to Portland, cities across the United States are experiencing spikes in gun violence on warm days. Researchers have begun to explore heat as a contributor to firearm violence, but current research on this subject is limited, focusing only on a few cities.

Now, a new study by Boston University School of Public Health and the University of Washington School of Social Work provides a first-of-its-kind analysis of -attributable shootings as a nationwide problem.

Published in the journal JAMA Network Open, the study found a consistent relationship between higher temperatures and higher risk of shootings in 100 of the country's most populated cities....

GLOBAL WARMING!!!!!!  It's GLOBAL WARMING, I say!!

However, if you've lived and observed 'the news' for more than 15 years, this is.......ahhh..........normal.  Late spring, summer, and most of fall, people are outdoors, and so are the gang-bangers.  They hibernate during the winter.

Sheesh.

MKE Archdiocese Not Part of Child-Trafficking

On a somewhat happy note, we learn that the Archdiocese of Milwaukee apparently has not taken a single dollar from the Feds for what is (effectively) child trafficking.

...We took the transactions summarized in Table 1 and then filtered them to include only the “UNACCOMPANIED ALIEN CHILDREN” awards, the program specifically identified by Tara Lee Rodas as being most susceptible to child sex trafficking (see TABLE 2). Catholic organizations received over $97 million for this program in 2022 and a whooping $766 million between 2008 and 2022.

Bear in mind that these figures are likely understated due to 1) the inability to include state and local government funding sources, 2) the inability to clearly identify every Catholic organization receiving awards and 3) the likelihood that Catholic organizations are receiving funds used for immigration-related activities that are not specifically coded as one of the 16 programs included in our analysis....

For the last three years, Milwaukee's 'take' was zero.   The Dioceses of Madison, LaCrosse, Green Bay, and Superior were not listed in the report, implying that they, too, are clean.

You don't have to be a hard-bitten cynic to guess which Arch/Dioceses in the US are taking money, though.  D.C., Chicago, and El Paso are on the list, with Baltimore and Lincoln (!!!?), among others.

Surprise!! EU Is Corrupt, Too!

Another proof that Donald Trump was one of the great Presidents, and that Pfizer is run by a lowlife.  But Qatar-gate first:

...An ongoing corruption scandal at the heart of the European Union has seen a Vice President of the European Parliament arrested, among others, and the offices of two human rights organisations shuttered, as Belgian law enforcement probe officials possibly being paid off as part of an influence operation by the sharia-governed State of Qatar, which is hosting the still-ongoing World Cup....

... “This EU summit has been marked by the arrest, on corruption charges, of the left-wing vice-president of the European Parliament. Everyone knew that Brussels was full of corruption, but now it’s reached the stage at which the police have had to take action,” commented Prime Minister Orbán...

... Orbán said that his government was pushing for an “in-depth and wide-ranging investigation into the corruption scandal in Brussels”, echoing longtime ally Donald Trump by adding that it was “time to drain the swamp here in Brussels.”...

Not different from Washington, D.C., except that they speak more languages in Europe.

NATO is next; the American NeoCon War-War Party is doing a good job of wrecking that.

Good.

Back to the EU, now with Pfizer flavors!

...Politico describes Qatargate as the biggest corruption scandal to hit the EU in years, though it faces a run for its money from the blossoming scandal over the Commission’s deeply opaque dealings with Pfizer and other vaccine makers, which is now the subject of an investigation by the European Public Prosecutor’s Office. The EU’s ombudsman Emily O’Reilly branded the Commission’s refusal to disclose the text messages between von der Leyen and Pfizer CEO Albert Bourla as “maladministration.”

In contrast to Qatargate, that scandal has been studiously ignored by Europe’s legacy media despite the staggering sums of money involved (tens of billions of dollars to date to buy up to 1.8 billion COVID-19 vaccines), the number of people affected (anyone who pays taxes in the EU and felt compelled by the EU’s vaccine passport rules to take a medical product they didn’t want) and the seniority of those implicated, including Von der Leyen herself and Albert Bourla, CEO of Pfizer, one of the world’s largest pharmaceutical companies.

Von der Leyen herself has come under fire for concealing and/or deleting records of her conversations with Bourla prior to the Commission’s purchase of up to 1.8 billion vaccines. As for Bourla, he has twice refused to give testimony to a European Parliament special committee on the matter....

Ever feel that Samson was right?

He was.

Ukraine's Desperation Now Showing

There has been little, if any, "Happy Talk" about the Ukraine situation lately.

Perhaps that's because of this:

Image

Of course, there is "Stupid Talk"--like how the US is going to send Patriot missiles which *WHIZ-BANG!!* will crush the Russkies into dust and we will hear their women lamenting, and all that.

MacGregor, as usual, has intelligent talk.  Looks like Putin & Co. will be moving into Ukraine in the next 10 days or so and taking up long-term residence there.

HT: (All of this)  Meaning in History

Meg Ellefson Shooting the Wrong Target

By and large, Meg Ellefson's critique of Trump is a rant, not a solid nor even highly-principled and thoughtful critique.

Earlier today we formally divorced ourselves from Trump, based on his bizarre comment about changing (or disregarding?) the Constitution's election clauses, along with his mad-hatter coin-selling and his endorsement of McCarthy for Speaker.  (There are other, less significant issues, reclkess spending being one.)

Along comes Ellefson.

She doesn't like name-calling.  OK.  It's not what adults do, but it's part of Trump's brand.

But then Ellefson gets to her main complaint:  Trump dissed Kleefisch.

Oh.  Well, THAT is a really serious thing!!  Trump preferred a business type--a contractor like himself--over a woman who claimed to be 'outsider' yet was intimately involved INSIDE government for well over 8 years and married to another 'insider.'

Huh.

Oh, yes, Ellefson has a secondary complaint:

... His most dangerous and damning alliances were with enabling bureaucrats like Tony Fauci and profit-driven Big Pharma. He is responsible for Operation Warp Speed, which pushed the development of an ineffective, dangerous and deadly vaccine for a completely survivable and treatable virus. Operation Warp Speed led to the federal government’s exploitation of the virus and steered policies which coerced American workers, our dedicated military and precious healthcare providers to have no choice but to take the shot or lose their livelihoods....

The very same Big Pharma that was vigorously defended by Mark Levin and Rush Limbaugh for over 20 years?

Oh.  And Trump was supposed to know better..........how, exactly?

Fauci (and Birx, plus many other 'experts') hoodwinked Trump, who was honest enough to admit that he had ZERO bio-medical knowledge.  He was overwhelmed by "doctors" and "Ph.D's" who were all on the same bandwagon.

Perhaps Ms. Ellefson knew better that all those 'experts' in January of '21?  June of '21?

We doubt it.

Ellefson claims that her principal complaint is the Covid clusterf**k.  I don't think so.  Her principal complaint, as we mentioned above, was that Trump preferred Michels and did NOT prefer Kleefisch.   Not Trump's dissing of the Constitution; not Trump's wild spending; not his love for Insider McCarthy; nor his inane self-love-NFT promo.  Nope.  It's all about Kleefisch, name-calling, and the Covid fraud.

We're waiting for Ms. Ellefson to prove her implicit position that Kleefisch could have won.  Maybe Ms. Ellefson could also produce her pre-June '21 writings on the Covid topic wherein she showed that Fauci was a fraud and Trump was a damn fool for listening to him?

We're not holding our breath.

"War-War" DeSantis?

Several decades ago, LBJ was in favor of "Jaw-Jaw" over "War-War."  But LBJ was owned by the military-industrial complex, which is one reason that he chose to get out of the White House.  (For more on the military-industrial complex's ownerships, see below.)

That's something that distinguishes Ron DeSantis from LBJ.  You may argue that LBJ was just as corrupt as Biden, and 'fortified' his election(s) just like Biden.  But you cannot argue that DeSantis is "not" a political animal who--apparently--likes Endless War.

It's been rumored that DeSantis is a property of the Deep State actors.  There is no question that he has taken a crap-ton of money from them.

Do we really need more war over postcard-sized lumps of land 8,000 miles from the US?

Ask LBJ how that worked out for him.

Let's go a little farther on that 'ownership' thing.

...The Ukrainian Embassy hosted a reception last week in honor of the 31st anniversary of the country’s armed services. Events like this are part of the social calendar of Washington’s smart set, with hobnobbing diplomats, think tankers, journalists, and US officials. Guests took photos with the Ukrainian ambassador. Even Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff Mark Milley showed up.

But there was something so overt it led some observers to laugh out loud at the gathering’s invitation.

The logos of military contractors Northrop Grumman, Raytheon, Pratt & Whitney, and Lockheed Martin were emblazoned on the invitation as the event’s sponsors, below the official Ukrainian emblems and elegant blue script that said the Ukrainian ambassador and defense attaché “request the pleasure of your company.”

“It’s really bizarre to me that they would put that on an invitation,” one think tank expert told me. “The fact that they don’t feel sheepish about it, that’s interesting,” explained an academic.

Not at all.  Raytheon, Northrop, P&W and Lockheed were ORDERING certain Members of Congress to attend and applaud the war like good little trained monkeys.

Prove me wrong.

Is Catholic Charities Catholic? Yes and No

Interesting ruling here.

...In Catholic Charities Bureau, Inc. v. State of Wisconsin Labor and Industry Review Commission, (WI App., Dec. 13, 2022), a Wisconsin state appellate court held that Catholic Charities and its sub-entities are not exempt from the Wisconsin Unemployment Compensation Act as organizations "operated primarily for religious purposes." It emphasized that the statute should be "liberally construed to effect unemployment compensation coverage for workers who are economically dependent upon others in respect to their wage-earning status." The court said that it must look to the work of Catholic Charities, not the Catholic Church itself, to determine whether there is an exemption.  Deciding that the court should look both to motives and activities, the court concluded that while Catholic Charities has a religious motivation for its work, the nature of its activities is not religious....

The immediate effect--barring appeal--is that Catholic Charities will have to provide unemployment compensation insurance for its employees.  (But 'regular' Catholic entities do NOT have to make such provision.  Hmmmmm)

It's TWITTER'S Fault, Says FBI

Kinda like the woman who wore a short skirt ASKED to be raped, no?

An FBI agent has slammed Twitter 's 'gross subservience' to the agency and said other firms were 'totally adversarial' when asked to hand over customers' details....

See?  Twitter was supposed to "resist", "fight back", and yell for the cops.  (Except 'yelling for the cops' when the cop is the perp........well......)

...The FBI defended their work with Twitter, saying in a statement to DailyMail.com that it was routine - but refusing to confirm which other social media companies they worked with.

'The FBI regularly engages with private sector entities to provide information specific to identified foreign malign influence actors' subversive, undeclared, covert, or criminal activities,' a spokesman said....

Let me correct the FBI's blatant compound lying:

'The FBI regularly engages with threatens private sector entities to provide information specific to identified foreign and domestic malign influence actors' subversive, undeclared, covert, or criminal activities, unless such subversive, covert, or criminal activities are originated by Democrats, the CIA, the State Department, or the Department of Justice.'

That's the reality.

Russia Has Missiles?? Can't Be!!

Wait..........wait!! All the best people told us that Russia ran out of missiles!

Both Russian and Ukrainian officials on Friday confirmed a massive Russian missile attack against infrastructure targets across Ukraine.

Ukrainian officials described severe damage, loss of civilian life, and further threats to public safety as the power was shut down in several cities during frigid winter weather.

The Ukrainian Defense Ministry described the assault as a “massive terrorist missile attack” that included 76 cruise missiles. The Defense Ministry claimed Ukrainian forces were able to shoot 60 of the missiles down....

Shot down with literally miraculous precision fire!!

...A Ukrainian commander in Kyiv claimed one of the Russian missiles was brought down by machine gun fire – a feat he conceded was “almost impossible,” but “it was done” nonetheless....

Yup.  That's what he said, so it must be true.  Probably shot down the other 59, too--maybe with precision-guided air-rifle fire.

Believe what you like no matter what your lying eyes tell you.

The Emperor Descends Into Madness

It's accurate to say that we backed into Trump support in the '16.

It's accurate to say that we are greatly enthused about Trump's America First policies.

It's accurate to say that we are extremely pleased that Trump showed us the gigantic festering sore that is the Deep State:  CIA, FBI, NSA, State Department, and Department of "Justice."  For that alone, he should be enshrined on Mount Rushmore.

We held our fire over his atrocious "spend it!!!" budget decisions.  They are horrible.

Lately, however....

Trump apparently wants the Constitution's elections clause to change, Federalizing elections.

Trump is serious about some damn worthless "coin"--whatever.

And Trump is pounding the drums for McCarthy as Speaker of the House.

Maybe there's something in the water, maybe not;  wouldn't surprise me if the CIA is putting it into the pipes at Mar-a-Lago.

But it's time to move on--except from America First.  THAT we keep.

Well, Actually.....

Retail Sales Off Huge in November

Don't forget the effect of BidenFlation!

...Keep in mind, retail sales are calculated in dollars spent by consumers.   November 2022 retail sales as reported by the commerce department today [DATA pdf], reflect a 0.6% decrease in spending vs October.  November data includes Thanksgiving, Black Friday and the traditional early holiday shopping.  0.6% less dollars were spent, despite prices being double digits higher than the prior year....

Figuring (conservatively) a 7% y-o-y price increase for the same goods, you're actually looking at a seven-and-one-half percent drop in retail goods moved.

And that drop in gasoline prices?  That has to do with demand, not the benevolence of Bai-Den; except that his policies are forcing demand to drop, too.  It's called "incipient recessionary indexing."

Meantime, in Adair, IA

This story is even more wacky than a Joe Biden story.

A small Iowa town of 800 residents likely has no need for a police force armed with 90 machine guns to keep the peace.

That, at least, is the view of federal prosecutors, who on Wednesday announced the indictment of Adair Chief of Police Bradley Wendt on charges of making false statements to the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives to obtain numerous machine guns over a four-year period on behalf of the Adair Police Department, which during Wendt’s tenure has never had more than three officers.

Instead, according to prosecutors, weapons were resold for profit through Wendt’s private gun store or another store owned by a friend who also is facing charges....

Even better:

...Wendt also sought repeatedly to obtain for the department a rotary M134 minigun capable of firing 50 rounds per second, usually mounted on military helicopters. The ATF denied the requested transfer.

“The Adair Police Department does not own a helicopter,” the indictment notes....

I have been in that town.  It doesn't even need three COPS, much less an M134 or 90 full-autos.

Will Dem Party of WI Give Back SBF's Money?

Schmu'el Bankman-Fried donated about $1.5 MILLION to the Democrat Party of Wisconsin.

Think they'll give it back so that the little guy(s) who "invested" with SBF can be made whole?

Wanna bet??

Ghost of Arthur Anderson Rises

Whether you like it or not, Arthur Anderson lost its license to do business due to a successful criminal prosecution.  (That, plus more arrogance than that of every Ivy League and Notre Dame college grad, added up and squared.)

But some of Arthur persisted:  their IT consulting business, known as Accenture.  (Accenture brought along the arrogance, too.)

However...

The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) mistakenly released the private data of roughly 112,000 taxpayers in September and again in late November, the agency disclosed Thursday.

An IRS programming error in September caused the release of 112,000 individual 990-T forms, a form used by IRA holders to report retirement account assets....

Well.....not exactly "the IRS."

...An independent researcher alerted the IRS on Dec.1 after noticing the files were still online, and the IRS ordered the contractor to immediately take them down, Bloomberg reported. The IRS is reconsidering its relationship with consulting firm Accenture, the contractor for the database....

Not likely Accenture will lose the work; they're far too well embedded with TPTB.

But they deserve a good kick in the ass.

BLS: Doing Biden's Will

Right at the top, we'll concede that "Biden's Will" is inaccurate.  Biden hasn't the faintest clue about "jobs" in the USA, nor about 90% of the people who actually work for a living.

But let us jump right into the story--which is all about the Bureau of Labor Statistics inflating the "jobs" number--by a VERY large amount.

Labor data might have been overcounted by as much as 1.1 million jobs earlier this year, the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia revealed in a new quarterly report....

... “In the aggregate, 10,500 net new jobs were added during the period rather than the 1,121,500 jobs estimated by the sum of the states; the U.S. CES [Current Employment Survey] estimated net growth of 1,047,000 jobs for the period,” the report stated....

10,000.......1,000,000..........whassa diff, anyhow?  We have an election to win, ya'know.....

Market Ticker picked up on the following a while back, and it is meaningful.

...Critics have charged that there is something wrong with the monthly jobs report.

The BLS report is comprised of two chief surveys: establishment (businesses) and household. The former has recorded stronger-than-expected growth for most of 2022, while the latter has been roughly flat. Since March, the divergence has skyrocketed to 2.7 million workers.

The main explanation for this gap is that the BLS allows double counting. This means it will count every extra job a person possesses as another payroll. The household component does not permit this feature.

Because the number of people holding two or more jobs has risen by more than 8 percent since November 2021, to roughly 7.8 million, double counting has increased significantly over the last year....

As Ticker noted, many people who have 2 jobs are holding two full-time jobs, not 2 part-time ones, nor 1 full-time/1 part-time.

But hey!!  The Red Wave turned into a trickle.  That's what counts, no?

Starbucks Withdrawals Coming!!

More catastrophic than a Joe Biden Presidency!

A three-day strike at (some) Starbucks!!

Advent is now a penitential season!!

Another Summer of George Floyd Love!

Don't you love it when people who threaten riots and torching buildings are called "civil rights activist"?

Miss America Is From Wisconsin!

Grace Stanke is only the third Miss America from Wisconsin.

Wausau native Grace Stanke, a 20-year-old nuclear engineering student at UW-Madison, is the third woman from Wisconsin to be crowned as Miss America. The others are Laura Koeppeler of Kenosha, who was Miss America in 2012, and Terry Meeuwsen of De Pere, who was Miss America in 1973.

Stanke shared her passion for nuclear engineering and performed “Storm,” a selection from the Summer movement of Vivaldi’s “Four Seasons,” on violin during Thursday's competition....

Congratulations to her.

That ends the Good News portion of this blog.

Steil and Gallagher Made You Enemies of the State

It is impossible to over-estimate the damage done to Americans by Bryan Steil and Michael Gallagher when they voted for Tammy Baldwin's Queer Marriage bill.

This is not hype or exaggeration. It is simple, legal truth. With the signing of the “Respect for Marriage Act” into law, if you do not accept or affirm same-sex “marriage,” you are now in the same category as a racist. And you can be assured that this will be used as a weapon against you in the days to come....

After 35 years of homosex-activist lying--nearly the entire lifetime of those two numbskull Congressional jackasses--the propaganda campaign finally bears fruit.

What propaganda?

... “In any campaign to win over the public, gays must be cast as victims in need of protection so that straights will be inclined by reflex to assume the role of protector. … A media campaign to promote the Gay Victim image should make use of symbols which reduce the mainstream’s sense of threat, which lower it’s guard, and which enhance the plausibility of victimization.”

Or, from a watershed 1989 book, written by the same authors: “Jam homo-hatred by linking it to Nazi horror,” urge the authors; associate all who oppose homosexuality with images like “Klansmen demanding that gays be slaughtered,” “hysterical backwoods preachers,” “menacing punks,” and a “tour of Nazi concentration camps where homosexuals were tortured and gassed.”...

That propaganda/lying campaign worked on the feeble-minded Gallagher and Steil.  (By the way, the essayist here is wrong when he implies that churches will be exempt from punishment over this matter.  They will be punished.  Lawsuits are already drawn up.)

Now you'll pay for it.

Tucker: CIA Offed JFK

Tucker Carlson voiced what many Americans always thought was a good possibility:  the CIA was involved in the killing of John F. Kennedy, "America First" member and enormously popular President.

It fits in with Bannon's recent comments regarding the FBI's involvement in the take-downs of Richard Nixon and Donald Trump*.  Those intel agencies are given way too much power, latitude, and trust and the power they have corrupts the people holding it.  It's likely Sen. Schumer knows more than he's saying, too--but he DID warn Trump about these guys.  Schumer is a lot of bad things but he's not stupid.

So it's not really a surprise.

Carlson also emphasized this:  every CIA Director since 1963 has known exactly what the CIA did, who did it, and why, including the execrable perjurer John Brennan and the self-puffer Mike Pompeo.

Tucker is putting a lot on the line based on a source that he claims has 'complete and intimate knowledge' of the paper trail inside CIA.

This will be interesting.

*The perfidy of the FBI on the Trump matter continues to be exposed.  See here for another very serious example.

Remember "Helicoptering"?

 The preferred treatment.

Learn About "Optics," Ms. Zelenskiy

It's a report, not a verified/videotaped event (yet).

...social media has erupted today after a “reliable store clerk” working on the ritzy Avenue Montaigne, has reported that Olena Zelenska went on a Christmas shopping spree spending €40,000 euros in an hour. (citation) Previously President Zelenskyy’s wife was received by French first lady Bridget Macron....

Forty thousand euros is about $45K.

Let's review again the "need" for another $38BN in support of Ukrainian government employee salaries and benefits.

Was Scott Fitzgerald's wife included in Zelenskya's entourage for this trip?

Where's the Money Going, Tony??

The Governor of Wisconsin doesn't like anyone to know where or why he's spending zillions of tax dollars.

He's probably hiding it for a reason, but we'll leave open the possibility that he's too damn dumb to know what he's doing, other than being a ward heeler-grade politician in a part-time job.

Goodie!! WEC Giving Voter Info to Lefties.

This is a bit abstruse, but it fits the Wisconsin Election Commission Democrat Voting Machine to a "T".

The Electronic Registration Information Center (ERIC) is under fire for illegally sharing sensitive voter data with at least one partisan nonprofit, according to lawsuits filed by the Thomas More Society against elections departments in Pennsylvania, Michigan, Wisconsin, and Minnesota.

While the lawsuits vary in their details, they all allege violations of the Help America Vote Act (HAVA), legislation from 2002 requiring states to maintain accurate statewide lists of registered and unregistered voters. HAVA does not authorize states to share this registration data with third-party organizations such as ERIC—effectively outsourcing its responsibilities to a private organization—since it is protected by federal law. Thomas More Society’s lawsuits aim to end the practice....

ERIC should not be getting the data.  Looks like a fairly neutral outfit, right?  They just want the basics:  name, address, driver's license number, last four of the SocSec, email address, phone......
That's a bunch, but ERIC is strictly non-partisan.

Wrong, sucka!!

...More disturbing still is [ERIC's] practice of sharing voter registration data acquired through these agreements with the Center for Election Innovation and Research (CEIR), infamous for distributing $70 million from Mark Zuckerberg in 2020 to pump up Democratic turnout in that year’s election. CEIR pumped over $13 million into Pennsylvania alone in 2020, according to a grant agreement included in the Pennsylvania lawsuit.

Whoopsie!!!

...ERIC and CEIR share a common founder: David Becker, a former People for the American Way activist and Justice Department lawyer with an anti-Republican axe to grind. Former Justice Department colleagues describe Becker as a “hardcore leftist” who “couldn’t stand conservatives.” Becker founded ERIC in 2012 as a project of the left-leaning Pew Charitable Trusts and persuaded roughly two dozen states to join the compact before leaving in 2016 to found CEIR. He remains a nonvoting member of ERIC’s board.

It is unclear how CEIR has taken advantage of the voter registration data piped in from ERIC. What is clear is the data’s incredible value—a near-perfect universe of current and potential voters in 32 states representing some 60 percent of the country’s population. And there’s no shortage of organizations who would put it to partisan use....

Wasn't hard to persuade WEC, I'm sure.

Makes you wonder what Robin Vos, Scott Walker, and Scott (I 💓 Ukraine!!) Fitzgerald were doing all these years, aside from feathering their own political nests.

Fun With Plows in Ohio

Peter discovered something they did in Ohio which produced a lot of laughs.

...The Ohio Turnpike Commission on Friday announced the eight winners in its second annual Name-a-Snowplow contest. Here they are:

        Ctrl-Salt-Delete by Nicole G.
        Blizzard Wizard by Jacqueline F.
Plow Chicka Plow Wow by Joshua K.

The Big LePlowski by Matthew S.
The Blizzard of Oz by Annette B.
Ohio Thaw Enforcement by Jonathan H.
        Clearopathtra by Samantha S.

There's more at the link.  Those who submitted the winning names will receive a $100 gift card....

Snow is not fun.  But hey!  Naming snowplows........who'da'thunk??

Tough Little Guy in the NFL

This guy plays for the Patriots.

...Speaking of miracles, have you heard about Marcus Jones? A diminutive 5-foot-8 defensive back, Jones was drafted in the third round by the Patriots this year and was mainly expected to play on special teams his rookie season, but then the defense suffered some injuries, and the offense needed some help, too, so Marcus (to distinguish him from the three other players named Jones on the New England roster) has become dang-near the proverbial “60-Minute Man.” On defense, Marcus was in for 67 plays (89% of defensive snaps), recording seven solo tackles, two pass break-ups and an interception, and he also appeared on offense as a receiver for eight plays (14% of offensive snaps), catching one pass for 12 yards, not to mention special teams, where he returned two kickoffs and a punt for a combined 54 yards....

Pretty damn good!

Rape a 15-Y-O? Get Out of Jail Free!!

We know that about half of Wisconsin voters will vote for the Lefty every time.

Doesn't mean we can't point out some problems with the Lefty running for Supreme Court of WI.

...Left-wing supreme Court Candidate Janet Protasiewicz is making light of her sentence that freed a felon rapist kidnapper by taking a political potshot against an opponent who raised concerns about it.

Protasiewicz, a Milwaukee judge endorsed by the extreme left-wing Daily Kos blog, sentenced a felon who was accused of randomly abducting a 15-year-old Milwaukee girl and raping her in a hotel room to NO prison time at all....

And Protasiewicz doesn't like it when you ask questions about that, either.

The perp?  Back into the system on weapons charges.  That didn't take long, either.

Senile, Dumb, Liar, and Corrupt. Guess Who??

Awwww.  You guessed who we're describing!

...When asked whether he can say when he expects prices to get back to normal, Biden said, “I hope by the end of next year we’re much closer, but I can’t make that prediction. I just — I’m convinced they’re not going to go up. I’m convinced they’re going to continue to go down.”

This president began his speech, by announcing, “This morning, we received some welcome news, in my view — and I think the view of most economists — on the economic front, news that provides a reason for some optimism for the holiday season and, I would argue, for the year ahead, and we learned last month’s inflation rate came down, down more than experts expected....

So long as you don't buy food or use electricity and natural gas, of course.

The magic number is "only" 7.1% year-over-year.  If your pay package increased by 7.1% or more, you're fine.  If you live in the White House--all expenses paid--you're fine.  If you're taking "gifts" from various Government contractors--as do all Congressmen--you're fine.

But if you're just a regular wage/salary earner, you're f............ (F-word that does NOT end in 'ine.')

Merry Christmas!!

In Case You're Asked.....

"Saint" Bill Barr Interferes Again

Bill Barr is a disgraceful creature who self-promotes as a saint (compared to Trump.)

Well, if he's such a saint, how come he's involved in managing information--read "suppressing" information--that you get to see?

Not ONLY did Barr's FBI hide the Hunter Biden computer and its contents for over a year prior to the Election Fraud of '20; now Barr is directly connected with a site which purports to be revealing the Twitter files..........

...........except the files with "FBI" written all over them.

Still Lying About DDT

Fifty years after Wisconsin banned the single most effective mosquito killer, Little Local Pravda continues to lie about DDT.

...After suffering from a range of forces, including the effects of DDT and other chemicals that caused eggs to thin and reduced eaglet production, the species has rebounded in Wisconsin in recent decades....

The facts of the matter?

...The Fish and Wildlife Service examined every bald eagle found dead in the U.S. between 1961-1977 (266 birds) and reported no adverse effects caused by DDT or its residues.

One of the most notorious DDT "factoids" is that it thinned bird egg shells. But a 1970 study published in Pesticides Monitoring Journal reported that DDT residues in bird egg shells were not correlated with thinning. Numerous other feeding studies on caged birds indicate that DDT isn't associated with egg shell thinning.

In the few studies claiming to implicate DDT as the cause of thinning, the birds were fed diets that were either low in calcium, included other known egg shell-thinning substances, or that contained levels of DDT far in excess of levels that would be found in the environment -- and even then, the massive doses produced much less thinning than what had been found in egg shells in the wild....

Well, what of it?  Who cares about one chemical in Wisconsin?

... Bis(4-chlorophenyl)-1,1,2-trichloroethane (DDT) has been shown, over the past sixty years, to be one of the few affordable and effective tools against malarial vector mosquitoes, which account for over 300 million cases of disease and more than 1 million deaths every year....

Malaria cares!

The point in this post is NOT to launch a campaign for DDT.  The point is that what you read in the "news" ain't necessarily so, and the "news" will keep up its lying as long as they're around.

More Truth in Pictures!

How The Bastards Work

McCain posts a bit of Dan Greenfield.

...I have frequently said in the past that the ability to define the problem is also the ability to define the solution. It’s one of those things that the Left does really well. It invents a crisis, homelessness, global warming, racism, speech, gives it a political name and then hammers home the idea that this is a problem that only they can urgently solve. And it pulls off the same trick over and over again. . . .

"Urgently" is a big part of the game, too.

And--of course--the Left has pre-selected beneficiaries of their lying.  Windmill, battery, and sun-catcher manufacturers for "global warming/cooling/change", social service outfits for 'homelessness', thousands of "trainers/curriculum writers" for racism/equity in the schools, not to mention Pervert Paraders to solve the "urgent problem" of kids not knowing how to be perverts.......

Note well that the beneficiaries are NOT the homeless, the poor, or the marginalized--nor the psychotics who "trans".  That's somebody else's problem--usually, the taxpayers, or churches.  The beneficiaries are shark-capitalists who have been tipped off well in advance, and we will include the butchers inhabiting Children's Hospital, Vanderbilt, and U of Wisconsin in that group.

It's more than convenient that the MSM and the 'social media' fall into line with the bastard Lefties; it is absolutely necessary that people do NOT know the truth.

And that's how it works!!

A Note From Your Congressman

Got this note from Scott Fitzgerald and Ron Johnson.  Stole the meme from Kevin.

De-Throning 'King Dollar'

China will be purchasing petroleum from Araby in yuan, and Russia will take payment for its petroleum in yuan and other currencies.

But not "King Dollar."

All you FinTech dudes out there:  pay attention.

We Have Reached Maximum Absurdity

After this line, the rest of the story is irrelevant.

An Israeli company that specializes in 3D-printed lab-grown meat with non-GMO animal cells is currently building the world’s largest commercial-scale production facility...

Who cares where, or how many square feet, or when?

Next: Musk Daggers Fauci

And THERE is Your Dagger!!

That might be the tagline for what's coming on the Great Twitter Reveal (which you will NOT read about in the Milwaukee Daily Pravda, just like you won't read about ANY of the Twitter Reveal there.)

...But the most important piece of this puzzle isn’t what Twitter did. Rather, it’s why they did it, and that’s where Dr. Anthony Fauci comes in. The overpaid bureaucrat with a legacy of abject failure, from his work with AIDS to COVID-19, has long defended China publicly. In fact, he’s still doing it, having fluffed the Chicoms again in late November. That’s on top of his lies, which were adopted as gospel-truth, about masks, lockdowns, and vaccine efficacy.

So what was Fauci’s (and his team’s) involvement in colluding with Twitter to suppress the First Amendment rights of Americans? Musk didn’t leave much mystery on that front with an unsolicited tweet about the notorious doctor....

You can hear Rand Paul drooling in the background.
