Musk Looks at the Teeth of the TwitterHorse

A few of you will recognize the genesis of the headline.

Anyhow.

...Musk learned on Friday morning that fake or spam accounts on Twitter make up less than five percent of users.

The more spambots on the site, the worse its market value is. The less, the higher because it means more advertising capability. No business wants to advertise on Twitter if nearly 30 percent of the eyes that will see it are fake. If Musk is going to spend $44 billion on something, he wants to make sure that every detail about the site is correct and that he knows what he’s getting into.

Do you check your bag of food at the drive-thru before you drive away? Musk is just checking his bag.

Indeed, Musk assured everyone that he’s still committed to the purchase no matter what and this pause is just temporary while the numbers are sorted out....

The reporting here is wrong.

Musk did not 'learn' that spambots were 5%.  He was told that by Twitter management, but he does not trust them--so he's asking for definitive proof.

Bannon has been yelling for Musk to back out of the deal, thus collapsing Twitter's share value--and then moving in again and buying it at a bargain price.  Wouldn't surprise me for a second if this is the vehicle Musk is using to batter down the price of Twitter.

It would be a crying shame if Dorsey (et.al.) saw their share-value drop by 50%, wouldn't it?

Paulie-Boy Ryan Cries About Trump

Paul Ryan, who was House Budget Chair, Joint Finance Chair, and SPEAKER, didn't do one damn thing about Federal spending.  Not One.  Damn.  Thing.

In fact, for the last 6 years or so of his Little Boy in Big-Boy Pants act in the Capitol, he didn't even bother with a budget--it was all continuing resolutions, thus not "fixable".

Now he blubbers and cries that Trump didn't want to take on entitlements.

...Paul Ryan served in Congress for 20 years. During that time, there was a four-year span (2003 – 2007) that Republicans held the House, the Senate, and the White House, which were all led by Paul Ryan’s type of Republicans: House Speaker Dennis Hastert, Senate Majority Leader Bill Frist, and President George W. Bush.

They were able to push through tax cuts, of course, but when it came to spending cuts, somehow all those GOPe budget hawks just couldn’t find any scissors to slash the funding for toxic recipients such as NPR or the National Endowment for the Arts.

Yet Ryan has the audacity to condemn Trump for not cutting Medicare?!

Paul Ryan also served as Speaker of the House for four years during the Obama presidency. Under the Constitution, he and his fellow House Republicans had the power of the purse and could choose not to fund Obama’s spending priorities. He chose not to use that power.

Again, Ryan has the audacity to condemn Trump for not cutting Medicare?!

And by the way, where is Ryan’s condemnation of Barack Obama? Just kidding. ...

This piece of crap, "Janesville Boy" also left Janesville as soon as he could, having quit Congress.  Yah, he's quite a crybaby.

Who's Demonstrating? Evers Keeps It Secret

There may--or may not--be several thousand demonstrators in Madistan this weekend over the Roe decision.

But you'll never know who they are.

...On Saturday, an even larger rally is expected to bring out 20,000 to 30,000 people, again at the State Street area of the Capitol, Litzkow said. Police are expected in larger than usual numbers between 2 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.

“Expect traffic delays in the downtown area,” the Capitol Police officer warned.

Another rally is scheduled for Sunday at and near the Capitol.

Litzkow referred Empower Wisconsin’s questions to the Department of Administration.

A Department of Administration spokeswoman said she would provide the names of the groups and individuals on the permits and other information, but then advised Empower Wisconsin to file an open records request (a process that can take months to complete with the Evers administration). She did not respond to a follow-up email.

A Madison Police Department spokeswoman did not respond to multiple messages....

Given the notably small crowds demonstrating in front of SCOTUS' members houses and at the Fed courthouse in Milwaukee last weekend, the Madistan events may turn out to be just a zit on the butt of an elephant.

What's far more interesting is the Evers secrecy.  We know that the babykiller crowd are all allies of Evers, which is the best reason for him to keep it a secret, and that's most likely why the silence.

Panic Over Michel's Election Board Promise

This is fun to watch.  Tim Michels wants to fire the entire Election Board and its senior staffers and start over again.

That put a Lefty Lawyer/Election Board Democrat Election Machine member into a panic.

...Democratic chairwoman of the Wisconsin Elections Commission Ann Jacobs said Michels' plan demonstrates he does not understand how elections are run in Wisconsin.

"This is craziness - it demonstrates a total lack of understanding how elections work. There would be no guidance for elections at all? And no staff? Just an empty office? Who will administer registrations? the Wisvote database?" Jacobs said in a tweet. ...

Frankly, Annie, given the outright lawbreaking pushed by you and your ultra-Lefty staffers out there, the State would be better off without you.  The State would be better off with 1,000 monkeys typing novels in that office, Annie.

Do you REALLY want to talk about the 'voter database', Annie??  Really?  The one with "voters" having birthdays at the beginning of the last century?  The one with 4900 voters having ZIP Code of "99999"?

We're not done, Annie.  Following the end of Evers and Kaul--this Fall--there will be criminal investigations and LOTS of prosecutions for the frauds in Milwaukee, Dane, Racine, Kenosha, and Brown Counties.

It's no wonder that you've instructed the local press (including the TeeeeVeeeee outlets) to totally ignore 2000 Mules.  You don't want to make it too easy for juries to send your pals to prison.

GE: 'No CT Diagnosis for YOU!!'

One of the things that happens when you "offshore" production....

General Electric (GE) Healthcare said on Wednesday a shortage of medical dye caused by a Chinese coronavirus lockdown of its production plant in Shanghai, China, has affected not only hospitals in the U.S. and Germany but also in other regions of the world, Reuters reported....

... Some of the largest hospitals in the U.S. prepared this week to endure critical shortages of medical dye normally sourced from GE Healthcare’s Shanghai factory....

...GE Healthcare has been suffering from a shortage of its Shanghai-produced medical dye products since at least mid-April. The medical equipment company issued a letter to customers April 19 in which it revealed it was “rationing orders for its iohexol products after a COVID-19 [Chinese coronavirus] lockdown temporarily shut down its production facility for iodinated contrast media in Shanghai, China.”...

CT scans are used to detect cancer, among other things.

Another issue on which Donald Trump was absolutely correct:  bring manufacturing back to US shores.

Not to worry, though!!  The Chamber of Commerce thinks China is the perfect place for critical-needs manufacturing.

The United States Chamber of Commerce is hyping job-killing free trade deals such as the Trans-Pacific Partnership (TPP) as the “answer” to China’s economic dominance worldwide, lobbying President Joe Biden to cut U.S. tariffs across the board....

The concept of "FAIR Trade" never enters the alleged minds at the Chamber, but that's exactly what Trump was driving at when he instituted the tariffs.  See, FAIR Trade would keep jobs in the US, even with the horrific burdens in place due to EPA, OSHA, and taxes.   Also those silly Fair Labor Standards requirements, and healthcare, and pensions, and stuff like that.

How d'ya like that chip shortage?  Feeling OK about not getting your cancer diagnosis on time?

That's what the Chamber of Commerce wants for you, peasant.  STFU and take it.

"How Many Mouths They Feed....."

We think this .........woman......is not too self-reflective.

Rep. Katie Porter (D-CA) claimed that abortion and inflation “reinforce each other.”

According to Porter, abortion was important because with the high prices of groceries, housing and gas, “people need to be in charge of how many mouths they’re going to have to feed.”...

There are 2,700,000+ Federal employees in 732 agencies being paid a total of $215+++BILLION/year in salaries.

Looks like we haven't been "in charge" for quite some time, Katie.  How about you resign and relieve us of the burden YOU place on us?

Who's Paying Off Mark Levin?

This is not the first WAR WAR WAR whoop from Levin.   Kinda makes you wonder why, eh?  Yes, he's a fanatic on defending Israel, but this war (seemingly) has little to do with that state.  Or does it?

(He also doesn't understand the meaning of the title "Utopia" by Thomas More--so he went on an anti-Catholic rant a few years back.  Claims he's a 'scholar.'  OK, Mark.)

McConnell's Challenge to Himself

Here we have the old snake on the record:

“I think we’d all agree the most important thing going on in the world right now is the war in Ukraine,” said Senator Mitch McConnell of Kentucky...

He said that while hiding behind the Capitol Police and a Marine company down the street, of course.

If it is THAT damned important, Mitchie-Poo, then take an M-4 from the local Marines, get on a jet, and go fight the damned war.

Leave the rest of the country out of it.

Baby Formula for Illegals, Not for Americans

Wonder if Bishop Seitz of El Paso can explain this....

Seems that Biden is shipping pallets of baby food to "welcome centers" for illegals at the border in Texas.

How very generous of him!!  While American (citizen) babies can starve--or just get very sick--the invaders get fed.

HT:  AOSHQ

Vos: Kill Children of Criminals

If you think that Robin Vos' (and Fitzgerald's) total lack of concern over election fraud is a problem, it gets worse.

Vos now proposes to kill the children of criminals.  Because that's the right thing to do, in his alleged mind.

Assembly Speaker Robin Vos wants exceptions for rape and incest if Wisconsin's ban on abortion goes into effect this summer...

Vos looks more and more like Nancy Pelosi every day.

The REAL Dirtballs Are in the FBI

Cheryl Atkisson was a target of the Obama/Holder regime because Cheryl Atkisson was reporting the truth about them.

So how did Obama/Holder decide to take her out?

They tried to plant child porn on her husband's computer.

That's the lowest level of dirtball politics, which fits Obama/Holder to a "T", and comports with what we know about the FBI in general.

Think the next Congress will have the courage to de-fund the FBI?

WI Republicans Shove Money Elsewhere

Fitzgerald, Grothman, Steil, Gallagher--all see the need to spend $40 BILLION on Ukraine.  Note that Tom Tiffany still has common sense, voted NOPE!!

It's really money-laundering.  The US (a walking bankrupt) sends money to Ukraine.  Ukraine writes checks to Raytheon, General Dynamics, (etc.)  Defense contractors then send money to Congressional campaign accounts.

Probably to a Biden, as well.

The Eyes of ICE Are Upon You

Think ICE is supposed to be dealing with illegals?

Wrong!!

You are safe and cozy inside your ICE blanket, right?

Although it's supposed to be restricted by surveillance rules at local, state and federal levels, Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has built up a mass surveillance system that includes details on almost all US residents, according to a report from a major think tank. Researchers from Georgetown Law's Center on Privacy and Technology said ICE "now operates as a domestic surveillance agency" and that it was able to bypass regulations in part by purchasing databases from private companies.

"Since its founding in 2003, ICE has not only been building its own capacity to use surveillance to carry out deportations but has also played a key role in the federal government’s larger push to amass as much information as possible about all of our lives," the report's authors state. "By reaching into the digital records of state and local governments and buying databases with billions of data points from private companies, ICE has created a surveillance infrastructure that enables it to pull detailed dossiers on nearly anyone, seemingly at any time."...

It's because Uncle Joe, Barky, and Bush the Dumber, along with McConnell, McCarthy, and Paul Ryan all CARE about you.

See?

FDA Behind Formula Shortage?

There are always two sides to a story.

...The biggest baby formula supplier in the U.S. has denied its Michigan plant is responsible for the deaths of two children despite the FDA closing it down.

The plant was shutdown nearly three months ago after a bacterial infection caused the deaths and other serious illnesses.

In mid-February Abbott Laboratories issued a nationwide baby formula recall and ceased operations at its plant in Sturgis, Michigan amid reports of babies contracting bacterial infections from its products.

An Abbott spokesperson told DailyMail.com Tuesday that 'thorough investigation' by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and Abbott revealed 'infant formula produced at our Sturgis facility is not the likely source of infection in the reported cases and that there was not an outbreak caused by products from the facility'.

However, despite the findings of the investigation, the plant remains shuttered nearly three months later, fueling the nationwide baby formula shortage....

Earlier, we mentioned that the FDA waited two months to interview the whistleblower on this matter, and dawdled for another couple of months with its investigation.

"I'm Here From the Government to Help You."

Uh-huh.

"The Feeeelz" vs. The Truth

Imagine a newspaper finding a way to attack the Catholic church!!  Can you believe it??

When her teenager came out last year as transgender, one Milwaukee mother’s devout Catholic faith wasn’t a cause for conflict. It served as a roadmap for empathy....

The Feeelz.  Not The Truth.  (NB:  no mention of "father" in that anecdote, nor in the anecdote of a St. Robert's parishioner.  Hmmmmmm.)

...But a new policy from the Archdiocese of Milwaukee says all Catholic institutions in the area should only recognize a person's sex assigned at birth. It forbids anyone, whether they're transgender or not, from designating their pronouns in speech or writing because that “promotes an acceptance of the separability of biological sex and ‘gender’ and thus opposes the truth of our sexual unity.”...

Note the term "truth" in the Archdiocesan statement.  You won't find it in any of The Feeeelz' proponents.

...Students and staff must wear the uniforms and use the bathrooms that match their sex assigned at birth. Students must participate in the sports [sic] and, if attending an all-boys or all-girls school, attend a school that matches their sex assigned at birth. And no one can distribute or take gender transition medication on archdiocesan property. ...

The truth.

Now for more fun with "journalism:"

...church leaders in local parishes and schools are grappling with how to serve the growing number of transgender faithful, who may feel erased by the policy.

Research shows that transgender people, especially youth, are deeply vulnerable when they are not accepted by their families, peers and faith communities: Between a third and a half of transgender teens have attempted suicide at least once in their lives, a study in Pediatrics found....

"Growing number" means.....exactly.......what?  Any percentages?  Actual numbers?  Nope.

And that 'suicide' thing........umnnnhhhhh........does that confuse cause and effect?  Who knows??

...The mother of the Milwaukee teen who came out as transgender doubts the document will actually accomplish what church leaders hope it does.

“I don't think there's somebody who is transgender who's going to say, ‘Oh, well, never mind then, I guess I'll just stay the way I am so I can stay Catholic,’” she said. “No, I feel like it's much more likely to build up these further walls between a marginalized community and the Catholic Church.”...

The Feeelz, not The Logic.  (And again, no "father" mentioned here.   Hmmmmmm.)

It must have killed the reporter to know that a Hispanic (MINORITY!!!) priest wrote the Archdiocesan policy paper.

...The Journal Sentinel also asked [Fr.] Bustos about criticism from transgender advocates that the archdiocese policy would push away vulnerable people, whom Catholics are taught to embrace.

“I'm sorry they feel that way,” he said.

The policy is not saying anything the Catholic Church has not already said about gender identity, Bustos said.

“I could see that some people may feel uncomfortable about it, but that doesn't take away the fact that that's our faith, and that’s the truth that we live in in our Catholic Church,” he said. “But again, we are called to help individuals to feel welcome in our churches.”...

It's also 'the truth' everywhere else in the world, in case you were wondering.

More Feeeeelzz:

...Late last year, 10-year-old Luna came out as transgender to her mother Carrie Mihal. Since then, the family has switched to using she/her pronouns and has done what they can to be supportive. But life at St. Robert School, the private Catholic school in Shorewood she's attended since the pandemic, has become tumultuous.

School administrators haven't allowed Luna to wear the girls' uniform, or clothing like skirts on no-uniform day, and Mihal often gets calls during the school day explaining that Luna is having emotional breakdowns....

Again, no father quoted nor mentioned.  Odd, that.

Kudos to Fr. Bustos and Abp. Listecki.  Hold fast to that which is good and true!!

Want Drag With That Taco?

Did not know that this is a significant market segment.

Restaurant chain Taco Bell has announced its new "Drag Brunch" events that have been launched at several locations across America.

The events will feature drag queens "performing" while customers eat.

"While you eat."

Got it.

Which CoVid Story Should We Believe?

The dissonance, it hurts.

From the Milwaukee branch office of Pravda Today:

With COVID-19 vaccines and therapeutics now widely available, Wisconsin health professionals are cautiously optimistic that even if cases rise, they won't result in overwhelming hospitalizations and deaths....

Oh, good!

Also from the Milwaukee branch office of Pravda Today:

...Data still shows that the unvaccinated are more likely to suffer severe illness or death compared to the vaccinated, but it is clear that vaccinated people made up a significant portion of recent COVID deaths...

So COVID-19 will not result in deaths, unless you die.

Got it.

Hepatitis? Yup--The Vaxx

If it's 'never been seen before' you look for 'what changed.'  And 'what changed' is The Vaxx.

...News headlines and mainstream media titles are stating that unvaccinated children are getting hepatitis and liver damage from an unknown cause (or speculating adenoviruses as the cause) but fail to mention that actual case data shows that the WHO classifies children involved in this issue fall under the ages of 0 – 16 years of age, that the majority of cases are in the 1 month – 4 year old age group, and that 100% of the cases in that age range are being active breastfed (or have been breastfed within the last 12 months) by fully vaccinated mothers....

As to the older ones with hep?  Mostly double-vaxxed.

Surprising that "journalists" haven't found that connection yet, ain'a?

Not Much "War" Over the Roe Thing

Yesterday afternoon a RadioMouth carried on for some time about the Left's reaction to the end of Roe.  To hear him tell it, it was George Floyd all over again.

Was it?  Not really.

This was not the civil war the corporate media and Democrats have promised for the last 50 years.

Oh, I know a few hundred yahoos descended on the homes of a few Supreme Court justices, an out-and-out felony encouraged by this lawless and deranged White House. But a few hundred yahoos will come out and protest anything. If Chipotle raised the price of guacamole, you could get that many yahoos out. This isn’t guacamole. This is the left’s sacrament of abortion. This is the third rail of third rails. This is civil war time. This is — Hey, where the hell is everyone?...

Yes, there was a fire-bombing in Madistan, and Federal crimes were committed against members of SCOTUS, although none were violent.

One is tempted to think that there are other, far more pressing problems, than the Roe thing.  Inflation and the price of fuel--plus the emerging "201-ification" of your 401k, for example.  And the possibility of nuclear war is out there, too.

Democrats are losing the battle, big-time.

The Rackets, Health Version

You knew it was back there somewhere....

...“When an NIH employee makes a discovery in their official capacity, the NIH owns the rights to any resulting patent. These patents are then licensed for commercial use to companies that could use them to bring products to market,” the fact sheet reads.

“Employees are listed as inventors on the patents and receive a share of the royalties obtained through any licensing, or ‘technology transfer,’ of their inventions. Essentially, taxpayer money funding NIH research benefits researchers employed by NIH because they are listed as patent inventors and therefore receive royalty payments from licensees.”...

So are we talking about 'real' money?

...An estimated $350 million in undisclosed royalties were paid to the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and hundreds of its scientists, including the agency’s recently departed director, Dr. Francis Collins, and Dr. Anthony Fauci, according to a nonprofit government watchdog.

“We estimate that up to $350 million in royalties from third parties were paid to NIH scientists during the fiscal years between 2010 and 2020,” Open the Books CEO Adam Andrzejewski told reporters in a telephone news conference on May 9....

"UNDISCLOSED".  That's the part which makes one angry.

Corporate Greed? New Bucks Tix Prices!!

Apparently Alex Lasry's chatter about "corporate greed" is just that:  chatter.

He's hiked Bucks season ticket prices by quite a bit; up to a 60++% jump since last year.

...Lasry has been silent as fans have complained about the rising price of season tickets since January, when some said they were hit with increases of up to 60 percent. While some attributed the spike to the team's recent success—the Bucks won the NBA championship last year—many slammed the increase as a money grab and said normal Wisconsinites have been priced out of the market.

The ticket hike could undercut Lasry's class-warrior rhetoric as he works to deflect  criticism of Democratic economic policies and soaring inflation. Lasry, the son of Bucks co-owner and billionaire hedge funder Marc Lasry, has billed himself as a champion for "middle class workers" in TV ads....

Apparently, some greed is better than other greed.  Or something.

Release of Vote "Stash-Houses" Upcoming

Yes, there were illegal-vote "stash houses" in Wisconsin.

And the addresses will be released in the near future.

Of course, neither the Milwaukee nor Dane County DA's will investigate nor prosecute, and you can rest assured that local Pravda will not be too exercised about it either.

But some people will care.

Lying Robin Vos: "We Never Approved Drop-boxes"

You sure as Hell sat on your fat ass and watched, Robin.

Let me help your memory with this from the Journal-Sentinel:

...Republicans' views on ballot drop boxes have shifted since 2020. Assembly Speaker Robin Vos of Rochester that year had his attorney write a letter that stated ballot drop boxes were authorized by state law....

No lawsuit from YOU, Robin.  And no lawsuit from Fitzgerald--who is now one of the warmongers poking the nuclear-tipped Bear.

History Lessons

From WRSA today.  About that "Spain" thing--the Marxists were the reason that Francisco Franco was at war; he was fighting them.  Hemingway was on the side of the Marxists; he was one of the first "Woke" Americans.  Naturally, Franco has been slandered ever since.

Fun With BozoLefties

 Stolen from Kevin, no apologies:

Two Views on Ukraine

The rhetorical dissonance between these two essays is a wonder to behold.

Over here at RedState, Streiff goes more than just a little bellicose propaganda-meister:

...When Russian troops crossed the border with Ukraine on February 24, Russian President Vladimir Putin set out his goals for his cakewalk to Kiev as 1) removal of the “nazis” and “drug addicts” ruling Ukraine, 2) disbanding the Ukrainian armed forces, 3) banning membership in NATO and requiring permanent “neutrality,” 4) banning “nazi” influences in Ukrainian politics, 5) recognizing the annexation of Crimea as legal, and 6) recognizing the independence of the fake republics created by Putin in 2014. In addition to those demands, Putin demanded that Russian be made an official “second” language of Ukraine because the number of Russian speakers in Ukraine has dropped about ten percentage points since Ukrainian independence, and it is difficult to meddle and create divisions unless you have a pressure point like language.

...Just like Austro-Hungary demands required Serbia to give Vienna control of Serbia’s foreign and domestic policy,  Putin’s terms for ending the war were nothing less than making Ukraine a province of Russia....

If you think that's bellicose, read on!

...For the war to end, Russia must withdraw. The one thing Zelensky has been consistent about demanding is that any cease-fire must be accompanied by a total withdrawal of all Russian forces from Ukraine.

Ukraine will not let any of the Russian-created Bantustans for Russian speakers to survive. The fake republics in Donetsk and Luhansk will be returned to governance from Kiev instead of Moscow. This will be a bitter pill for Putin to swallow, but it is getting safer to say that he no longer has the initiative in the war he started, and he doesn’t have the power to impose his will. Western aid, military and economic, will keep Ukraine in the fight longer than Russia can sustain its “special military operation.”

Crimea’s future as Russian territory is less than certain. The best that Russia can hope for out of this is to continue what Kiev views as an illegal occupation and create casus belli for a new war somewhere in the future, a war that Russia will not like.

Ukraine will exit this war as a virtual member of NATO and the EU. Its weaponry, equipment, and training will be standardized with NATO. Its commercial contacts will all be focused on Western Europe, not Russia....

Well, everyone is entitled to an opinion.

In contrast, American Greatness makes the case that--as per usual--the American objectives in Ukraine are vague, therefore useless, except to ONE particular group.

...The failure to think clearly about victory and what it requires matters for the current Russia-Ukraine conflict. The United States is currently a belligerent in all but name, providing substantial financial and military assistance to the Ukrainians. Any form of diplomatic compromise appears to be wholly anathema. Instead, Biden has recently requested $33 billion in additional aid to Ukraine. The president has even said—in remarks quickly walked back by government officials—that Russian President Vladimir Putin could not remain in power. So, is the goal regime change? Total Ukrainian victory?

In spite of the aid already received, Ukraine appears to be slowly losing the war. The Russians, having started the war with an overly ambitious strategy have since scaled back their operations to something more realistic. Russia’s logistics problems seem to have been sorted out. Russians have already retaken the city of Mariupol. And there is now a genuine main effort in the Donbas.

Russian forces are now fighting inch by inch and pounding the substantial mass of Ukrainian forces in the East with their extensive artillery. Two months into the war, Ukraine has not engaged in any substantial counterattack.

So will the United States support Ukraine until it is ground into dust?...

...we have official silence regarding any diplomatic terms and increasingly aggressive talk from Biden, Secretary of State Tony Blinken, and members of Congress in both parties. As in Afghanistan, our leaders have embraced a vague and completely fanciful notion of victory that does not allow any evaluation of or reduction of efforts.

Advocates promise that more weapons, more money, and more time will yield progress, but we were told the same thing about Afghanistan until its government and military completely and rapidly collapsed....

So let's be serious about "who wins" this war.

...As with the Iran-Iraq War of the 1980s, prolonging the fighting is sometimes not a bug, but a feature in foreign policy. While weakening Russia has been an obvious goal of the West since the early 2000s, our dimwitted Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin let the cat out of the bag by saying so explicitly on a recent visit to Ukraine.

Surely no one can be unaware of the ways the Ukraine war benefits the military-industrial complex. For every Javelin, tank, airplane, or other weapon given away from Western arsenals, there is now a slot in which a defense contractor can sell a modernized and more expensive replacement

Long, indeterminate wars allow a continual stream of income to the highly consolidated defense industry, while also empowering host country officials responsible for disbursing the largesse. In Afghanistan, the huge amounts of American money sloshing around worsened Afghanistan’s already rampant corruption, undermining the government’s effectiveness and legitimacy in the eyes of ordinary Afghans. Since Ukraine’s reputation for financial and political rectitude is little better than Afghanistan’s, why does everyone assume that giving them tens of billions of dollars in equipment and aid will not enrich the corrupt leadership class at the expense of Ukraine’s people? ...

Good question, except asking D.C. that question is pointless, as few in the Biden Regime can define "corruption," for the same reason that a fish cannot define 'water.'  They swim in it and feed on it regularly.

That doesn't exonerate Republican poohbahs; Cheney notoriously joined a defense contractor as CEO immediately after giving up the Vice-President chair, and lots of them are living off the largesse of defense contractors, whether during their terms or afterwards.

So the average US citizen will now be living under the revived and very real threat of nuclear attack--just as will be the average citizens of Western Europe (and Russia.)

Isn't that nice?

Helpful History on Liturgy in MKE

The Pope apparently intends to make war, not peace.

Pope Francis on Saturday blasted Catholics who, hewing to old-school versions of liturgy like the Latin Mass, have made an ideological battleground of the issue, decrying what he described as devil-inspired divisiveness in the church....

... Speaking at the Vatican to instructors and students of the Pontifical Liturgical Institute, Francis said it’s not possible to worship God while using the liturgy as a “battleground” for nonessential questions that divide the church....

(As though a Jesuit has some sort of Special Liturgical Propriety charism.  /sarc.)

Here's the 'helpful history' part of this post.

After the Great Liturgical Revolution's forcible implementation, one Milwaukee-area pastor refused to obey, and continued celebrating the 'Old Rite' (1962) at his parish church.  This attracted hundreds of people to a church which had been losing members for a decade.  It also attracted a large and well-trained choir and organist.

Eventually, the Archbishop--Rembert Weakland--evicted the group and the pastor from the church.  That group then moved to a dance hall in the far northwest suburbs.  After some expense and a good deal of labor and materials, that dance hall was re-created as a chapel every Sunday morning, and then 're-re-converted' to a dance hall by Sunday afternoon.

The Archbishop and the priest kept quiet.  There were NO public statements about the somewhat irregular situation from the Chancery, nor the priest.  Everything was peaceful.

The situation became volatile only after the press got wind of it and one of the members of the group opened his mouth to them.  And volatile it was; Weakland could not remain un-involved, partly because there were a lot of other pastors who were on shaky ground with the forcible implementation of the 'New Liturgy' and made that known to the Chancery and partly because of a new threat:  the SSPX.

After a period of turmoil which allowed the SSPX to get a foothold in the area,  a resolution was offered by the same Archbishop--Weakland--who made a seminary chapel available to the group.  This was defense, really; Weakland did not want the SSPX initiative to grow much larger, nor did he want any 'bad press' about 'suppressing' Catholics.

(Eventually, that group moved into a parish church, then into a much larger and more beautiful church  which is now the property of the Order which runs it.  It attracts a congregation of about 1,000 souls.)

The point here?  The Pope should follow the example of Weakland:  shut up, accept the "trads", and see how successful a peacemaker approach will be.  It worked in Milwaukee.

Think he'll do that?

Oremus.

Biden OWNS the Baby Formula Shortage

Color me Not Surprised.

...Joe Biden promised competence by a bigger, better government. A few days ago, one of his loyal allies exposed a gross incompetence by federal officials on Biden’s watch that defied that promise and inflamed a baby formula shortage now panicking parents nationwide.

Rep. Rose DeLauro, D-Conn., a reliable liberal ally, unveiled documents showing the Biden Food and Drug Administration was alerted by a whistleblower last fall about potential contamination issues at the Abbott Nutrition baby formula factory in Michigan and failed for months to act aggressively....

So what does "not aggressively" mean?

....The congresswoman, the chairwoman of the powerful House Appropriations Committee, laid out a four-month-long trail of federal bumbles and stumbles: the report came in Oct. 20, the whistleblower didn’t even get interviewed for two months, the plant didn’t get inspected until Jan. 31 and the recall didn’t get issued until Feb. 17.

“Why did the FDA not spring into action?” she implored during a congressional hearing. “Why did it take four months to pull this formula off store shelves? How many infants were fed contaminated formula during this time, by parents who trusted that the formula they were buying was safe? How many additional illnesses and deaths were there due to FDA’s slow response?”...

The Biden crowd actually specializes in dead babies, folks.  This is just another chapter of the same book.

Baldwin Would Demolish Conscience for Abortion Docs

Tammy Baldwin (D-Madistan) bleats that "her" bill will make abortion legal countrywide.

For someone who is the proverbial lump-on-a-log, that's a lot!

But that's not all!!

...Senator Susan Collins signaled she is a “no” on this draft of the WHPA because it “doesn’t protect the right of a Catholic hospitals to not perform abortions.” Blumenthal responded that Collins was wrong, and claimed that there is nothing in the bill “that detracts in any way from existing protections based on conscience or religion.”

Blumenthal is either lying or ignorant of the text. The bill expressly preempts the Religious Freedom Restoration Act and any law that “impedes access to abortion services.” The latter would include conscience provisions like the Weldon Amendment, which prohibits the Department of Health and Human Services from funding any federal, state, or local government that discriminates against hospitals and other institutions that refuse to provide abortions, and the Church Amendment, which provides that federal funds for health services not be contingent on the recipient’s willingness to perform abortions....

Since Tammy doesn't have a conscience, it's OK by her.

Good Question!

The Upcoming Biden Food Shortage

We mentioned the other day that a Biden🤡 jackwagon called "Samantha Power" is very happy with the fertilizer shortage caused by Biden's War on Russia.  She's happy because the Government will 'transition' farmers to 'organic' methods.

So how does "organic" work out?

Sri Lankan President Gotabaya Rajapaksa promised in his 2019 election campaign to transition the country’s farmers to organic agriculture over a period of 10 years. Last April, Rajapaksa’s government made good on that promise, imposing a nationwide ban on the importation and use of synthetic fertilizers and pesticides and ordering the country’s 2 million farmers to go organic.

The result was brutal and swift. Against claims that organic methods can produce comparable yields to conventional farming, domestic rice production fell 20 percent in just the first six months. Sri Lanka, long self-sufficient in rice production, has been forced to import $450 million worth of rice even as domestic prices for this staple of the national diet surged by around 50 percent.

The ban also devastated the nation’s tea crop, its primary export and source of foreign exchange.--AOSHQ quoting Foreign Policy

"I'm here from the Government to help."

Not only a lie.  A Very Deadly Lie.

Ex-UW Prof In a Snit Over RoJo

Oooohhhhh.....a has-been academic gets all snotty about Ron Johnson.

...Patrick Remington, an emeritus professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison School of Medicine and Public Health, severely criticized Johnson and called his persistent questioning of medical science irresponsible.

"If he had a medical license these would be grounds for malpractice," said Remington, a former epidemiologist for the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention. ...

Let's talk about masks, Doc--which were useless BEFORE Fauci the medicine-man said "wear them," then "don't bother", then "wear them," then "wear TWO of them."

Shall we talk about the increasing evidence that Teh Vaxx has terrible side effects--not to mention that it's useless against the Chinese Communist weapon called "CoVid"?  How about The Vaxx's effect on pregnant women?

The era of "the doc is always right" is gone, medicine-man--largely because 'the doc' has been caught lying, obfuscating, and side-stepping over the bodies left by your "medicine."

Stay retired and keep your pie-hole shut.  You sound much more intelligent that way.

Bush Calls Zelenskiy "Churchill"

Oh, really?

Former President George W. Bush spoke with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky on a video call on Thursday and called the world leader the "Winston Churchill of our time."

The virtual meeting took place at the George W. Bush Presidential Center in Dallas, Texas. The two spoke for "a few minutes," according to Bush, and the former president thanked Zelensky for "his leadership, his example, and his commitment to liberty."...

Apparently Bush the Dumber doesn't keep up with the news.

Under Zelenskiy, Ukraine has become the fourth most corrupt country in the world.

Zelenskiy has also suppressed all opposition parties and nationalized TV news.

That's the sort of "liberty" George W Bush prefers, eh?

Given the volume and duration of the Screeching Of The Left:

War by Other Means: China & Biden v. US

Just noodling a bit.....

Red China not only loosed a pandemic with a deadly disease (CoVid); it has also created a serious supply-chain problem by its lockdowns through '20, '21, and '22, and is now toying with its currency (devalued again!!).  All these moves are to the detriment of the US economy and consumers.

Almost seems that it's deliberate, just like the Biden War on US citizens.

Huh.

MacGregor on The Crazies in D.C.

Col. MacGregor does not call them "crazies."  But I do, and I'll defend that assertion.

...War still tests the legitimacy of those who govern inside the warring states, as well as the resilience of their societies. This observation applies to the Biden Administration as much as it does to the governments of Zelensky and Putin. As he presides over fiscal crisis, scarcity, and rising criminality in America, and displays his willful ignorance of Eastern Europe and its peoples, President Biden and his supporters on the Hill are stirring a regional pot that could quickly boil over with dangerous consequences for Washington and its NATO partners. As Sigmund Freud wrote of Biden’s “internationalist” predecessor Woodrow Wilson, Biden “has a marvelous ability to ignore facts and believe what he wants.” However, it’s much tougher now than it was in 1917 to pull the wool over Americans’ eyes.

Washington actively cultivated Ukraine’s war with Russia for many years, harnessing Ukrainian nationalism—the incendiary force globalists claim to loathe—in service to their cause. It worked. Now the same globalists are prolonging the war with arms, advice, and encouragement, even though Ukraine is being destroyed.

In the last 30 years, Washington’s overemphasis on military assistance and intervention in the pursuit of regime change has drawn the U.S. into conflicts and crises in the Balkans, the Near East, North Africa, and Southwest Asia. American nationalists are not responsible for the current war in Ukraine or the last three decades of Washington’s self-defeating wars. But American nationalists are needed now more than ever to stop the globalist war to destroy Russia before that war spreads like a cancer across Eastern Europe.

"....Balkans, Near east, North Africa, SW Asia....."

Isn't that enough for now?

Apparently not to the War-War Enthusiasts such as Rep Fitzgerald of Wisconsin.

Boeing HQ Moving Closer to Feedbox

It is reported that Boeing HQ will move from Chicago to D.C. area.

There are a number of "feeding" terms that come to mind, but we're (mostly) G-rated here.

So we settled on "Feedbox."

History Lesson

Another cadged from Grim:

On Our Government's People

Grim highlights a few grafs from Kurt Schlichter.  Damn, he's good!

Have you noticed the absolute freakshow quality of the people who want to keep us in chains? Perhaps it’s one thing to be repressed by people who are at least nominally badass, like Romans or Mongols. But these geebos who make up the Democrat Party’s loudmouth wing? The sexually hopeless toads outraged because other people who might someday know the loving touch of another human can’t whack their babies? No. Not only does their tyranny fail the freedom test, it fails the aesthetic test....

[J]ust look at the antics of that fascist disinformation girl. She sings show tunes. She’s into Harry Potter – non-threatening sensitive and magical boys are sooooo dreamy. She’s also eager to shove you into a train car headed to a gulag, and as it pulls away from the station she’ll be shouting at you ruffians to use your inside voices.

That’s right – the mediocre girl who played the lead in your high school’s production of “Hello, Dolly!" – which you skipped to go pound Buds with your pals like normal people – is the harbinger of tyranny....

I heard that she was the understudy for Mary Poppins, not the lead in "Dolly."  Well--as we're told--disinformation abounds!

Is Oliver Stone Crazy?

Oliver Stone has a theory.

...Oliver Stone on Facebook writes that rabid anti-Russian propaganda has set the stage for a false flag low-yield nuclear explosion in Ukraine that the world has been trained to interpret as Russia’s doing.  The success of Washington’s perception war and saturation of the CNN/Fox airwaves with condemnation of Russia could lead to hopes that a false flag nuclear event would bring down Putin’s government.  A new Yeltsin installed would return Russia to Washington’s control and leave China, alone, as the next target.  Such an event is not a fantasy.  It is an expression of Stone’s understanding of the neoconservatives commitment to Washington’s hegemony.  Biden officials have made it clear that they are at war with Russia, using Ukraine as a proxy, with the goal of exhausting Russia into weakness and disposing of Putin.  ...

You be the judge.  Putin has proffered a peace settlement; Zelenskiy refused to negotiate in good faith--some say at the behest of the US.

Trump thinks this should be settled at the negotiating table and believes that it could be done.

So is Stone crazy?  Or does he know too much about the NeoCons and PoopyPants' war-monger advisers?

Target: MAGA

There's a reason that the Biden🤡 Administration has a Ministry of Truth within the most heavily-armed Cabinet Department--the focus of which is to root out "extremism."

President Biden on Wednesday, reacting to the leaked draft opinion signaling the Supreme Court’s intent to overturn Roe v. Wade, slammed Republicans, saying the controversy is "about a lot more than abortion," and warning that the "MAGA crowd" is "the most extreme political organization that’s existed in recent American history."...

They define the target with the objective of destroying the target.

Have ammo?

Big Brother CDC Watches You

No one should be surprised by this.

The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) bought access to location data harvested from tens of millions of phones in the United States to perform analysis of compliance with curfews, track patterns of people visiting K-12 schools, and specifically monitor the effectiveness of policy in the Navajo Nation, according to CDC documents obtained by Motherboard. The documents also show that although the CDC used COVID-19 as a reason to buy access to the data more quickly, it intended to use it for more-general CDC purposes....

Oh?  Like what 'more-general CDC purposes??

...“The CDC seems to have purposefully created an open-ended list of use cases, which included monitoring curfews, neighbor-to-neighbor visits, visits to churches, schools and pharmacies, and also a variety of analysis with this data specifically focused on ‘violence.’”...

And whether you are acting in a healthy fashion:

... “CDC also plans to use mobility data and services acquired through this acquisition to support non-COVID-19 programmatic areas and public health priorities across the agency, including but not limited to travel to parks and green spaces, physical activity and mode of travel, and population migration before, during, and after natural disasters,” it reads....\

You can be assured that CDC will not share any data with FBI/NSA/DHS, too.    /sarc

Yes, Tammy Baldwin IS This Stupid

We all know that Tammy Baldwin is the potted plant of the Wisconsin delegation.  Pretty much does nothing, except jam her nose into Schumer's behind and follow, follow, follow.

But now and then she proves why leadership keeps her in a dark room and pushes her meals in under the door.

...U.S. Sen. Tammy Baldwin, D-Madison, called for the U.S. Senate to pass legislation she co-sponsored to guarantee the right to access an abortion.

“If #SCOTUS is going to legislate from the bench and turn back the clock 50 years on #RoeVWade, then the Senate needs to pass my Women’s Health Protection Act, and if we need to eliminate the filibuster to get it done, we should do that too. #WHPA,” Baldwin tweeted....

Tammy, Tammy, Tammy.......your undies are twisted waaaaaay too tight.

The Roe decision was "legislating from the bench" as Alito copiously demonstrated.  Here, SCOTUS is dis-legislating from the bench and taking their rightful position in Government for a change.

Mordecai Lee Wants to Change the Topic

This is amusing.

...The court's opinion isn't final, but [Mordecai] Lee says the 2022 fall election will now be a referendum on abortion rights....

MAYBE at the State level, but not for US Senate or House races.  For those, the issue is Joe Biden🤡 and his no borders stance, horrific inflation, scarcity of goods, and his tendency to Totalitarianism.

Mordecai's trying to change the topic and it's not going to work.

Club for Growth Gets Clubbed in Ohio

J D Vance wins the Ohio primary for Senate, handily.  Club for Growth loses.

...When Trump endorsed Vance in mid-April, ahead of the May 3 primary on Tuesday, donor class forces rushed into action not to support the former President of the United States but to actively work against him in the U.S. Senate race. The Club for Growth, as Breitbart News has previously reported, doubled down with more ad buys in favor of former state Treasurer Josh Mandel’s candidacy — spending even more when Trump and his eldest son Donald Trump Jr. criticized the group. The usually conservative Club is on the same side as Trump in many races nationwide, such as in Nevada where they both support former Attorney General Adam Laxalt for U.S. Senate or North Carolina where they both support Rep. Ted Budd (R-NC) for U.S. Senate. But the fissures in Ohio have gotten particularly nasty, where Trump’s team is calling the group the “Club for Chinese Growth” — a reference to the organization’s ardent opposition to any use of tariffs to rein in China whatsoever, a severe departure from the core of Trump’s nationalist populist policies.....

The Club is an 'economic libertarian' bunch, so to speak.  As the supply-chain troubles increase and begin to bite hard as they are now, "global sourcing" looks worse and worse.

Wait until there's a REAL war to see how bad it will get.

Roe, Casey, Dobbs

Interesting bit of history here.

For those who aren't versed in SCOTUS history, Casey v. Planned Parenthood was voted out of conference by a 6-3 vote to overturn Roe. Over the course of several months while opinions were drafted, Justice Souter convinced Justices Kennedy and O'Connor to change their votes....

Justice Souter's idea was to affirm Roe, but create a new framework for reviewing state law restrictions on abortion under a new "undue burden" standard never before adopted for any other federal constitutional right....

Which makes 'undue burden' the next target for Constitutional conservatives.

Ukraine Echoes of WWII

A well-known historian, Albert Jay Nock, wrote this in 1943:

...At any time after 1936 it was evident that a European war would not be unwelcome to the Administration at Washington; largely as a means of diverting public attention from its flock of uncouth economic chickens on their way home to roost, but chiefly as a means of strengthening its malign grasp upon the country’s political and economic machine . . . Our Administration seemed to me to be in much the same situation as Mr. Asquith’s after 1911, and I expected it to act in the same way and for the same reasons; as in fact it did....

He was not wrong, was he?  By the way, in 1935 he also predicted that WWII would start in 1939.

The author of the essay in which that nugget appears is not an optimist.

...Ask yourself: Would a diversion from poor economic conditions at home be of any help to professional politicians in Washington? How about an excuse for increasing government power? Just consider that the result of every war in modern history—in the winning nation—has been a transfer of social and economic power away from the people and toward the State: Higher taxes, more laws, more control over the daily lives of citizens. More government. That is what war does—when you win. And if you’re going to lose, who cares?

Do I think that our government is really so evil and incompetent that they’d get us into a war just so they remain in power (and increase their power)? Of course I do. They won’t realize the magnitude of the war until it’s too late. As is traditional.

I think that in four years we are going to be in a real war—a world war—against Russia and China. It will have been entirely unnecessary and avoidable, just like the first and second world wars. And it will be much worse than we imagine, because it is going to be fought with worse-than-nuclear weapons....

Little question that the Biden🤡 regime is desperate, just as was the FDR regime--and for nearly the same reasons, although Roosevelt did not open borders to all comers.

Oremus.

Newsom Is Right

Reported last night:

California Gov. Gavin Newsom said, “we are going to fight like hell,” after the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade was leaked on Monday evening.

He's right.  Satan lives on the blood of innocents.

And he's right using "we", too.

Politico: SCOTUS to Overturn Roe (!!?)

 We'll see about this.....

The Supreme Court has voted to strike down the landmark Roe v. Wade decision, according to an initial draft majority opinion written by Justice Samuel Alito circulated inside the court and obtained by POLITICO.

The draft opinion is a full-throated, unflinching repudiation of the 1973 decision which guaranteed federal constitutional protections of abortion rights and a subsequent 1992 decision – Planned Parenthood v. Casey – that largely maintained the right. “Roe was egregiously wrong from the start,” Alito writes....

There's a lot we don't know with certainty here, other than Alito is correct.  Here's a troublesome note:

...No draft decision in the modern history of the court has been disclosed publicly while a case was still pending. The unprecedented revelation is bound to intensify the debate over what was already the most controversial case on the docket this term....

As you might expect, Roberts has not weighed in (per the leak) so it's 5-3.

Rest assured this was leaked by an extreme pro-abort Court source, likely one of the clerks.  Reason?  To gin up all sorts of demonstrations, whether at the Court itself or at the homes of 'conservative'  Justices.  Don't be surprised at all if there is violence, and don't be surprised if some of that violence spills over into many other cities.

Soros in Wisconsin

While Gateway suggests otherwise, George Soros has donated only $250,000.00 to the Democrat Party of Wisconsin during 2022.

There was another $500,000.00 donation Soros made last year.

That'll get him a seat at the table, eh?

Michels Has Some 'Splaining to Do.....

Looks like a pretty damn nice couple of houses in NYC and Greenwich for a guy who claims residence in Chenequa.

And ain't this interesting:  Brian Fraley, a Sykes/NeoCon guy, is the mouthpiece that won't talk.

'Just Spend More' to Fix Food Shortage

Another ridiculous Obama/Biden🤡 official, another ridiculous statement.

Here's Samantha Power of USAID (foreign humanitarian aid) on the impending food shortages:

...“Fertilizer shortages are real now because Russia’s a big exporter of fertilizer,” Power said. “And even though fertilizer is not sanctioned less fertilizer is coming out of Russia. As a result, we’re working with countries to think about natural solutions like manure and compost.”

“And this may hasten transitions that would’ve been in the interest of farmers to make eventually any anyway,” she crowed. “So, never let a crisis go to waste. But we really do need this financial support from the Congress to be able to meet emergency food needs...."

1)  'Hasten WHAT 'transitions,'' exactly?  Stop using nat-gas for enhanced nitrogen fertilizer, or stop using the fertilizer?

2)  She's asking for MO' MONEY to purchase food for impoverished countries, which will raise the price of food both in the US and abroad.  It's a never-ending cycle.

These people are not the solution.  They are the problem.

New Hotness: Global Warming Causes Covid!!

Yes, as is my custom, I listened to NPR (National Panhandler Radio) today so you wouldn't have to.

Since "global warming" (whatever) is about 76th on a list of 10 concerns to Americans, the Green Wackies have a new twist:  global warming will cause flu strains to jump from bats to cats to people!

Or something like that.  See, the animals are all moving further north (or south, depending on the hemisphere) to escape the horrific heat of GlobWarm.  As they do that, they take various CoVid/Flu strains with them, and those strains will "jump"--eventually--to humans and PANDEMIC!!! RUN!!! HIDE!!  DEATH IS IMMINENT!!!!!

(Turn to eleventy on your dial.)

And also:  turns out the Quakers are all in favor of No Borders.

And Ukraine peasants are set upon by mean, nasty Russkies, who bomb and strafe every civilian in sight.  But they are resolute and determined, although the women are 'lonely.'

You can thank me now.

Biden Judge Nominee vs. Milwaukee Citizens

Biden🤡 continues his track record of nominating anti-Americans to Fed judiciary!

Someone named Choudhury is now at the Senate, making a fool of herself when Sen. Kennedy points out her blatantly false statements about cops shooting blacks.

Turns out she had a hand in a Milwaukee 'settlement,' too.

When she was at the ACLU (Anti-Christian Libertine Union) as Deputy Director, Racial Justice.

Oooooohhhh!  Wow!!!

...the city of Milwaukee has entered into a settlement agreement to end practices amounting to a decade-long stop-and-frisk program that resulted in hundreds of thousands of baseless stops as well as racial and ethnic profiling of Black and Latino people citywide....

"Hundreds of thousands of baseless stops....."

No doubt that's absolutely true.  /sarc

That was in 2018.  Crime in Milwaukee has sharply decreased since Choudhury's "solution" was implemented, no?

Oh.....wait......

*For more on the topic of Federal (and ACLU) interference in local policing, see this essay.*

Another Take on Ukraine

This from The Saker, who says he is an ex-Russian spy now living in the US.  We'll excerpt a couple of interesting bits from his essay.  You can read the rest.

First off, it's expected that this will turn into a 'long war' of at least 2-3 years' duration.  The hope (of NATO) is that Russia will be worn down and that Zelenskiy will manage to keep morale high.

it is becoming increasingly clear that the grand strategy is to slowly abandon the Donbas, but in the process, slow down and attrition the Russian forces as much as possible, while simultaneously reconstituting a massively armed new NATO-standard army in the West.

Not only has NATO and U.S. both now released statements that they are readying for a “long war” of up to 10 years in Ukraine, but there are reports like the following:

...“Our source in the OP said that the Office of the President (of Ukraine) is ready for a long war that will last 2-3 years. Kiev does not consider a possible defeat on the eastern front to be critical for Ukraine,

the main thing is that the battles for Donbas exhaust the Russian army and last for several months. Using time, the Armed Forces of Ukraine will receive modern heavy weapons and will be able to launch a counteroffensive in the South of Ukraine.”

In a recent interview on his youtube channel, chief presidential advisor Arestovich openly confirms the above. In fact he plainly tells host Feigin that with all the new NATO equipment coming in, it will take them about 1 to 2 months max to arm a new army in the west, and that Ukraine will be ready to create mass counter-offensives from the west starting in mid to late June.

So in short, their entire strategy is to stall Russian forces in the east as much as possible by conducting slow, orderly retreats, even if it means eventually giving up the entire Donbas...

Sounds like a plan, but there's trouble in River City, as the flim-flam man said.

...The chief problem here is the blanket assumption that Ukraine has endless reserves and high remaining morale. But there is increasing evidence that this is not the case. Not only are mass surrenders increasing, but each time they happen the troops complain of the same things, low morale, high desertion rates, resentment towards their commanders. And increasingly the troops are from the far west, old, and haggard which proves that Kiev is already tapping its absolute reserves from the west of the country, rather than local reserves held back at 2nd and 3rd echelon lines like near Pavlograd, Poltava, etc.

Secondly, there is increasing discontent amongst the populace. Today in the far west city of Khust, where these reserves are already being tapped as I just outlined, the wives, mothers, and family of soldiers being sent to the front virtually rebelled and started destroying the local military offices, and this is becoming increasingly common:

https://www.bitchute.com/video/ysVLo8BLRqEi/

They don’t want any more war.

I already reported last time how the ‘grand popular uprising’ that Zelensky promised (read: hoped for) of the molotov-armed partisans was a complete failure. In fact now, more and more we’re seeing secret pro-Russian underground resistance cells forming in all the major cities who have released videos and are promising to help take the city once Russia arrives. Such cells now exist in Kharkov, Nikolayev, Odessa, and elsewhere...

Whoops!

The problem with running a proxy war is that the proxy needs willing soldiers.  Lots of them.  And that means willing wives.  But the comedian/drag queen/corruptocrat Zelenskiy apparently doesn't know much about women who are not purchased with luxury villas in the US and friends in the White House.  Those others--the common folk--don't fall in line so easily.

Two Notes on War-War Lend/Lease Bill

Two notes on the lend-lease bill moving the US towards war with Russia:

1)  It was introduced on January 19thThat was a full month before Russia invaded.

2)  Tom Tiffany had the guts to vote "NAY".  Good for him!
