Here's a question that even the intrepid Jessica McBride has not asked about Corey Ruiz, late of Madison, WI.
... highly relevant is that “friends” of Ruiz said “he was homeless and had longtime problems with drug addiction.” If you fell on hard times, would you become homeless? Almost certainly not, because you have friends and family who would take you in until you got back on your feet. However, if you’re a drug addict with a violent criminal history, even your own family won’t let you stay under their roof. Anyone who’s dealt with drug addicts understands this — a junkie will steal everything that’s not nailed down if he can sell it to feed his habit, which is why the junkie is not welcome even at his family members’ homes....
One should never celebrate the violent death of any human. But one can--and should--make it clear that one's actions expose one to judgment, and that judgment may be fatal.
We are not sympathetic to Madison residents who are forced to endure a summer without "Concerts on the Square" or the farmers' market. (We ARE sympathetic to the musicians and farmers whose incomes are *pffft* due to the civil disorder and chaos fomented by the Communist "Party of Socialism and Liberation", the Communist "Black Lives Matter", and the Communist gubernatorial candidate Hong.)
The burghers of Madison are not really "good." They are Hard-Left idiots. They are getting exactly what they deserve: a Summer of "Love."
