...Israel has developed an AI called "Lavender" to generate kill lists, with almost no human verification to double check the targets selected by the machine: only a a “rubber stamp” check of about “20 seconds” just to make sure the AI target is male.Since the US does not have a vital national interest in Israel (nor in Syria or Iran), we've been disinclined to post about the war, other than updates on the situation. Not our ranch, not our cattle.
Moreover, the Israeli army "systematically attacked the targeted individuals while they were in their homes — usually at night while their whole families were present — rather than during the course of military activity". In fact Israel developed another automated system called “Where’s Daddy?” used "specifically to track the targeted individuals and carry out bombings when they had entered their family’s residences" 
One of the intelligence officers who spoke to Abraham is quoted in the article: “We were not interested in killing [Hamas] operatives only when they were in a military building or engaged in a military activity. On the contrary, the IDF bombed them in homes without hesitation, as a first option. It’s much easier to bomb a family’s home. The system is built to look for them in these situations.”
In fact the article reveals a ratio, I think for the first time: "according to two of the sources, the army also decided during the first weeks of the war that, for every junior Hamas operative that Lavender marked, it was permissible to kill up to 15 or 20 civilians... The sources added that, in the event that the target was a senior Hamas official with the rank of battalion or brigade commander, the army on several occasions authorized the killing of more than 100 civilians in the assassination of a single commander."
But that doesn't mean we will ignore war crimes, all the way from the first one (10/7) through this one--which apparently cost far more lives.

Israel's genocide in Gaza is a great revealer because everything about it goes against international law: the mass killing of civilians, journalists, and humanitarian workers; the pre-existing occupation of Palestinian land; the wholesale destruction of Gaza: the hospitals, the mosques, the schools; the torture of prisoners; the deliberate starvation of the population, etc. Never before has the contrast between American authoritarianism and international law been so evident. If you have not seen the evidence then go look.
And there's no going back, the curtain was pulled: if they hadn't noticed before, the world now knows for sure that the US (and Israel of course) is quite literally a rogue state, operating outside international laws and norms, and outside the most fundamental moral principles.
It is almost like American Christians believe the American Narrative that Israel is our friend more than they fear THE LORD who knows their silence about this evil is consent. If you have no power against this corruption but prayer, then pray this absolutely stops.
Over the last fiscal year, the US Military missed recruiting quotas, and by no small margin — reports indicate that quotas were missed by over 40,000. But how exactly did it come to this?
Maybe just maybe we Americans do not want to serve and die for Globalism, We serve America, not some Zionist War in The Middle East, and the Ukraine to aid in nthe expansion of Greater Israel. These War Crimes and Genocides are not our fault as our elections were stolen. I'm proud that Americans refuse to serve under these conditions.

Reality sure is ugly, eh? What number do you put on acceptable battle casualties when your opponent wears civilians as body armor? Where do you target them when their “place of business” is co-located in hospitals, schools, malls, and mosques? Why would you refuse to target evil where it works AND where it sleeps?
Tell us that if and when that evil comes for you and yours you wouldn’t render where they work and sleep eternally uninhabitable. Same game, different location.
It occurred to me that if Ryan Miller was reporting on the Gaza war rather Ukrainian war he would be dead right now and we would not have this wonderful video nor his wonderful book.

A little-discussed detail in the Lavender AI article is that Israel is killing people based on being in the same Whatsapp group [1] as a suspected militant [2]. Where are they getting this data? Is WhatsApp sharing it?
Lavender is Israel's system of "pre-crime" [3] - they use AI to guess who to kill in Gaza, and then bomb them when they're at home, along with their entire family. (Obscenely, they call this program "Where's Daddy").
One input to the AI is whether you're in a WhatsApp group with a suspected member of Hamas. There's a lot wrong with this - I'm in plenty of WhatsApp groups with strangers, neighbours, and in the carnage in Gaza you bet people are making groups to connect.
But the part I want to focus on is whether they get this information from Meta. Meta has been promoting WhatsApp as a "private" social network, including "end-to-end" encryption of messages.
Providing this data as input for Lavender undermines their claim that WhatsApp is a private messaging app. It is beyond obscene and makes Meta complicit in Israel's killings of "pre-crime" targets and their families, in violation of International Humanitarian Law and Meta's publicly stated commitment to human rights. No social network should be providing this sort of information about its users to countries engaging in "pre-crime"......
