WisPolitics interviewed Robin Vos. At the very end of the written summary, Vos had this to say about Trump:
...Vos said he hasn’t spoken with Donald Trump since before the former president endorsed his primary challenger. Trump pressured Vos to overturn the 2020 election results — something Vos has said is not possible — and backed Adam Steen in his primary challenger of the speaker.
Vos said he hasn’t spoken to Trump since before he endorsed Steen.
“I’m sure I’ll support the Republican nominee,” Vos said when asked if he’d back Trump in 2024 should the former president win the party’s nomination. “I’m going to do everything I possibly can to make sure it’s not Donald Trump. I think he’s bad for our party, and I think he does not do a good enough job attracting voters to our side of the aisle.”...
It's not "the Party,", Robin. It's the COUNTRY about which we should be concerned.
It's perfectly obvious that a lot of elected Republicans don't give a flying damn about the country; look at the horrific "omnibus". Look at the roll-over-and-scratch-my-tummy Republican reaction to Queer "Marriage" and the freight-train of problems under the Tranny Tree.
Granted: Trump also rolled over and played dead on the Omnibus and is far too comfy with perverse practices. He's issued quite a few questionable statements lately, to boot.
But it's not "The Party" that counts, Robin. Try to keep that in mind.
