Ryan Jerome was enjoying his first trip to New York City on business when the former Marine Corps gunner walked up to a security officer at the Empire State Building and asked where he should check his gun.
That was when Jerome’s nightmare began. The security officer called police and Jerome spent the next two days in jail.
Jerome read an inaccurate online guide to "where you can carry"; he has a valid Indiana CCW permit.

How is this about political correctness? I can see it being about states rights, law and order, and personal responsibility, but those are supposedly conservative values which I'd expect you to applaud, i.e., NY reserves the right to enact laws as it sees fit, and it was this gentleman's responsibility to familiarize himself with and adhere to the laws of the state which he was visiting.
It was an honest mistake with no "intent". This should be a no-brainer, but since brains appear to be in short supply amongst liberals (Spicey-Boy), I expect them to get the full 15 with a pardon (eventually) from President Santorum.
Dumbass should have left the piece in the trunk of his car. More evidence that a few idiot gun owners give the rest a bad name.
My mom says I'm very bright, thank you.
