Why is England Poking The Bear?

England has been poking The Bear recently, sending drone attacks against Russia, Limpet-mining ships (any flag) that had a Russian port-of-call, and openly chatting about new attack systems against Russia.

Russia, in turn, has been damaging undersea cables and eliminating Brit weapons operators in the Ukraine theater.

What the Hell does England think they're doing?

Easy:  they're hoping that Putin will openly whack England, thus calling the NATO-defense treaty into play, forcing the US into war.  Brings to mind the old phrase "Mad dogs and Englishmen," except here, the mad ones ARE the Englishmen.  AND their dogs, for all we know.

Would you be surprised to learn that the CIA and a number of State Department people--plus a number of Senators and Representatives--are right in the middle of this?  Hmmmmm???  We would not.
