Peking Pox Up in Wisconsin?

By the Daily Mail's accounting, the Wisconsin Supreme Court is responsible for a lot of ChinaCooties here.

The state recorded its highest daily number of new coronavirus cases and deaths Wednesday, two weeks after the state's Supreme Court struck down its stay-at-home order.

The state reported 599 new confirmed cases and 22 deaths on Wednesday, according to the Wisconsin Department of Health Services....

Zounds!!  OMG!!!  RUN!  HIDE!  CALL MOMMY!!!

Wednesday's record came as the state significantly increased testing this week.

An unprecedented 9,371 results came in on Wednesday, followed by 10,114 on Thursday.
 Oh.

Also un-mentioned:  the decreasing percentage of 'positives' among the tested people--now down to 5-6% range.  But that doesn't fit The Narrative, so.........

...On May 13, the Wisconsin Supreme Court struck down Gov Tony Evers' extended Safer at Home order, calling it unconstitutional.

Almost immediately after, patrons packed together inside several bars, dancing and banging on the bar tops.

But, over the last several days, cases have continued to rise....
Even though the article says "Frances Mulraney" is the author, it's actually Andrea Palm.  Trust me, I know this sort of crap.  Science!

When even Channel 6 doesn't join in the DOOM GLOOM BOOM noise, it's over, Andrea.  Give it up.

Mass!!

We were allowed entry into a Waukesha County parish church for Mass this morning.

Alleluia!

About 250 people there all told.  I saw about 10 face-diapers in use.

The priest reminded us of which 'death' is more important.  'Nuff said on that.

Alleluia!

Meantime, at the Archbishop's own Cathedral, there were very few people present.  We wonder why.

Madistan Antifa Lights Up

Madison's Antifa residents--oh, yes, there are quite a few--showed up last night.

Wisconsin’s capital city exploded with looting, tear gas and fire Saturday night, hours after a peaceful protest over the killing of George Floyd by a Minneapolis police officer.

Protesters on and around State Street in downtown Madison threw rocks at state troopers wearing riot gear, smashed storefront windows, spray painted “I can’t breathe” and obscenities against police on buildings, sidewalks and destroyed police cars.

The crowd began the night of violence and destruction by confronting state police with projectile water bottles and nearby rocks. When the troopers would throw cans of tear gas at the crowd, the crowd threw it back at police. ...
That's an Antifa 101 tactic.  Here's another:

...At one point, dozens of gallons of milk were distributed to help protesters alleviate the pain caused by tear gas...
Naturally, the Madison Mayor-ette and cop-shop were totally unprepared.

...About an hour before two squad cars were destroyed and one engulfed in flames, Madison Police Chief Victor Wahl said arrests were not planned Saturday night because police were outnumbered and did not want to escalate tensions....
Hell, Chief.......you could have simply told all your cops to stay home, being as you had no plans for them that night.  Save a lot of payroll expense and at least one squad car, ya'know.

UPDATE:  Madison cop shop put out a bulletin on the riot, and here's a part:

...One MPD squad was broken into, driven a short distance and then set on fire.  The vehicle was a complete loss. Two rifles were stolen from the vehicle before it was destroyed....
THAT raises a few questions about SOP's in that place, no?

Tony's Tigers were out, acting on Tony's instructions:

...A line of state troopers stood nearby but did not intervene. About half an hour later firefighters put out the flames and officers arrived on the scene....
Too bad.  It's a nice town.

Meatpackers, WuFlu, Causes?

The WuFlu seems to have targeted meat-packing plants around the country, including in Milwaukee and Green Bay.

Huh.

Now the Border Patrol has an interesting story.

The Trump administration’s success at reducing illegal crossings over the southern border blocked an even bigger coronavirus “catastrophe” spread from U.S. Border Patrol holding facilities to hundreds of American cities, according to officials....

Who could have guessed??

...He said that by greatly reducing crossings and returning apprehended illegal immigrants within two hours has vastly cut the numbers of immigrants held in facilities that come from virus-plagued Latin American nations such as Mexico and Brazil....
Oh.  Mexico and Brazil.

Meatpackers hire a lot of immigrants, legal or not-legal.

Probably all just co-incidence.

But What Would TONY Do??

Looks like things over in MSP are very ugly indeed.

The Minnesota state authorities held a press conference at 10:00 yesterday morning. Governor Walz led the parade with a classic yammer yammer yammer blah blah blah performance. I have embedded the video below. He is — they are — over their head, out of their depth, out of it, clueless. You have to see it to believe it....

'Over their head, out of their depth, out of it, clueless......'  Hmmm.  Vaguely familiar.

...I wrote yesterday that 500 National Guard soldiers constituted a force too light to deal with the widespread disorder in the Twin Cities and that proved to be the case. Anticipating further difficulties, the authorities declared 8:00 p.m. curfews in St. Paul and Minneapolis. Undermanned, overwhelmed, the forces stood down as the second hand crossed the 12 at 8:00 yesterday evening....
The Guard is under the command of Governor Out-of-Depth & Clueless.  And he's blaming the RUSSIANS for this.  "Russians" is dog-whistle for You-Know-Who, right?  He also blames "white supremacists and drug cartels."  Of course.  Anything to avoid the word "ANTIFA."

...“I will take responsibility for underestimating the wanton destruction and the sheer size of this crowd,” Walz said. He said repeatedly that the sheer scope of the crowds and violence have been shocking, and that there was no way for for authorities to anticipate or prepare for such an onslaught.

“There are simply more of them than us,” he said....
Actually, that's  what Tony Evers said about unemployment claims.

Pansy-assed Lefty dipwads pretending they know from governing.

Dreher on MSP, the Bolshies, and the Deep State

It's not often that I read--or quote--Dreher.  But when Dreher calls the Mayor of Minneapolis a "Pajama Boy", ............well, OK, I'll pay attention.

He wanders into the Russian Revolution, quoting from his own book:

...“I don’t understand how anybody could have believed what the Bolsheviks promised,” I said glibly.
“You don’t understand it?” said the father at the head of the table. “Let me explain it to you.” He then launched into a three hundred-year historical review that ended with the 1917 Revolution. It was a pitiless tale of rich and powerful elites, including church bureaucrats, treating peasants little better than animals.

“The Bolsheviks were evil,” the father said. “But you can see where they came from.”...
So the Russians were willing to buy anything--the Bolshies--in exchange.  OK.

But here's where it gets to be a lot more fun.

... It really was incredible, how blind the ruling class was to all the deep problems in the country. If they didn’t care for the masses’ welfare, okay, but at least they should have had a sense of self-preservation. They didn’t. They thought the social order with themselves at the top — I’m not simply talking here about the royal family and the aristocracy — would last forever. They refused to see the sources of legitimate outrage....
That happens to be a very damned good description of the D.C./NY/SFO crowd if I ever read one.

Think Dreher was writing a justification for Trump-ism?

Nah.  But he could have.

Professional Rioters

Yes, the riots are being led by professionals, at least in Minneapolis/St Paul, per the Mayor of St Paul.

No question that they are also leading the looting/burning/terrorism in Atlanta, D.C., L.A., and Texas.

So.

There's a "phone-tracking" company out there who releases its information to Lefties who are scared of the Chinese Cooties.

S'pose they'll release the info to law enforcement?

The F.U.D. of the NeverTrump Crowd

We'll see more of this.

"FUD" stands for "Fear, Uncertainty, and Doubt."  It was a very effective tool in the IBM mainframe salesguy's bag--they'd tell you that Amdahl was going out of business, or that Burroughs couldn't process database--whatever it took

Now it's applied to Presidential politics by the usual crowd of twits.

This one says that Pence is dead meat and Trump may bring on Miss UN/Globaloney Haley.  Sure.  Because Trump loves him some globaloney and UN corruption.  Yup.

Earlier in the day, Continetti--the Boat-Trip-Guy's son-in-law--pronounced that the Trump campaign is 'in trouble' and he may lose the election.  Yup.  Because nobody knows more about winning elections than Cap'n Billy.

You'll see more.  Don't be surprised, and don't let it disturb you.

A Couple of Questions for the WI Election Commission

We have a few questions about this.

...The final mailing is set to go to all registered voters in the state — except those who have already requested an absentee ballot and those who may have moved and have not confirmed their address....
"Those who may have moved....."--is that the 200,000++ "voters" now in SCOWI's hands?  Or some other group?  Or both?

What about dead voters?  Any safeguards there?  What about voters who have moved even more recently?  Any safeguards there?  Does the EC have a "flag" system for umpty-multiple voters living at a single address??

Will the EC police returned applications?  For what sorts of problems?  Will the EC keep its mailing-dates close to the vest?

Following the return of the request, can the EC ensure that there is no "harvesting" in nursing homes or assisted-living centers?

Just a couple of little questions.  I'm sure that the EC will be happy to answer them, in detail.

Right??

'Just in Case' Material

WuFlu Narratives Beginning to Fail

The Narrative that the Chinese Communist Virus is both the end of the world as we know it AND that it cannot be ameliorated by hydroxychloroquine + zithpak is circling the drain.  (Ticker's essay at the first link is a bit lengthy, but it's also comprehensive.)

Next thing you know, the Facemask Lie will also fail.  That's where all the Enlightened Ones attempt to force citizens to accept the Big Lie that facemasks prevent transmission of the disease.  UPDATE:  Yes, indeed, it has failed.  Fauci admits it was all a "symbol."  Further, Fauci admits that the "Second Wave" is also bullshit.

It's a re-packaging of the Enlightened Lie that body parts do NOT determine gender--or that there is such a thing as homosexual marriage.

Forcing people to acquiesce to blatant lies, and/or assert those lies as 'truth' is the hallmark of the Totalitarian state.

And the 2nd Amendment is the hallmark of a Free State..........

Evinrude Outboards: Dead

Although the announcement is cryptic, Evinrude outboard motors will no longer be produced.

BRP Marine Group announced Thursday that it would lay-off 363 employees from it's Sturtevant manufacturing plant, according to a letter sent from the company to the Department of Workforce Development.

BRP is a Canadian company that makes recreation vehicles and parts. It will no longer be making Evinrude E-TEC and E-TEC G2 outboard engines which means those associated with that process will soon be out of a job....
"BRP" is Bombardier Recreational Products, which purchased Outboard Marine Corp in 2001 following OMC's bankruptcy caused by the EPA's strictures on 2-cycle engines.  OMC also manufactured Johnson outboard motors and Lawn-Boy OPE products, another dead brand.

At one time, Evinrude had a very large plant on Milwaukee's north side, plus manufacturing facilities in Mexico and its Sturtevant parts warehouse.  It was a Milwaukee-born company with a great line of goods--until EPA happened.

Hispanics Get Lots of WuFlu

Interesting.

...As of Thursday, one-third of all confirmed coronavirus cases in the county involved patients who identify as Latino or Hispanic. Latinos make up only about 15% of the county’s population.

The trend mirrors statewide data showing one-third of Wisconsin's 16,974 confirmed cases have been patients identifying as Latino or Hispanic.

“We see that we now have more cases in our Hispanic population than any other race or ethnicity,” said Ben Weston, medical services director for Milwaukee County’s Office of Emergency Management....

There's a reason for that, according to the news story.

...He said one reason for the disparity may be the high number of essential workers in the Hispanic community. Those workers often have jobs with low pay and without paid sick time that require employees to leave their homes and interact with the public....
Umnnhhh....how about "crowded living conditions"?

Nah.  That doesn't fit The Narrative.

Pathetic Mayor in Minneapolis

Who's more pathetic?  The Mayor of Minneapolis or the Governor of Wisconsin?

Damn close race.  Here's the Minneapolis entry:

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey (D) requested on Thursday that “protesters” in the City of Lakes practice social distancing and wear masks to reduce coronavirus transmission. The municipal government claimed to provide hundreds of masks to the public for this purpose....
The mask will filter out some of the smoke and ash particulate, I suppose.

It was particularly nice of Jacob Frey to provide masks for the "protesters" who were liberating large-screen TV's and such from Target and other retail stores.  That way, the "protesters" won't be bothered by anyone requesting return of the items.

Vox is of the opinion that this boob was air-dropped into the Twin Cities from the East Coast so he could run for Senate--sorta like Kaul was air-dropped here from Maryland.

His roots are showing.

Evers Killed Schreiner's

Tokin'Tony, who never missed a paycheck in his career, managed to kill Schreiner's of Fond du Lac.

The business opened in July 1938 and survived quite a lot.

But it couldn't survive Tony Evers.

Klobuchar Enabled the Killer Cop

Well, well, well.

Sen. Klobuchar, the "Minnesota Nice gal" was once the D.A. for Hennepin County.

When a cop with 20 years on the job and 10 complaints against him shot and killed a Native American,  Minnesota Nice gal failed to bring charges.

So the cop killed again, just 2 days ago.  Yup.  THAT one.

In fact, as Althouse notes, Minnesota Nice gal loves her some cops but was damned hard on poor blacks.

Huh.

No State Fair........

.........but that's OK, because Tony Evers will not miss a paycheck.

Neither will the DWD 'workers' who have put 600,000+++ weekly checks on hold.  People starving?  Evicted?  Not to worry.  State employees get their pay.

Gotta have priorities ya'know.

J-S Headline Editor/Liar

The story under the headline is not particularly interesting.

But the headline?  Pure Communist-China propaganda.  That is to say, a lie.

"More Than 100,000 Americans, Eclipsing Any Other Country--Coronavirus Updates"

That's the headline found on the "front page" of the paper.

You don't have to be very smart to ask the question:  WHAT ABOUT RED CHINA, WHERE WUHAN IS?  A whistleblower said Wuhan had cremated 50,000 victims by February.  Not "all of China"--just Wuhan.

Yah--well--the J-S' headline editor--a liar--hopes you don't think about that.

Fraud-by-Mail in Texas: Wigderson Is Wrong

While Wigderson thinks the scheme of mail-out-applications proposed by the Democrats is "a win," it's not.

I filed a request for public information covering the 1359 voters who voted by mail in Harold Dutton’s race. I requested electronic copies of the voters’:
  1. applications for ballots by mail and
  2. returned ballot carrier envelopes.
My first thought was to match each voter’s mailed ballot application with the voter’s ballot envelope and compare signatures to find those which may not match. But as I reviewed the documents, something else jumped off the page
32 hand written applications for mailed ballots – all from different voters – but all written in the exact same handwriting.
Gee.  How could that happen, Wiggy?  Could there be fraud-by-mail even with the system you approved?

...So I counted the stamps used by all the applications for ballot by mail returned by voters in this race. Could it be just a coincidence that only 7% of all voters used this stamp to return their ballot by mail applications but 100% of the 32 voters with this same handwriting on their applications used the same stamp?

But then I printed out the envelopes which carried their returned ballots and the BIGGEST COINCIDENCE of ALL  jumped off the page…

ALL THESE VOTERS LIVED
 IN THE SAME PRECINCT!
 Precinct #259
Seems that someone (a Democrat in this case) was paying forgers to get them elected, one way or the other--mostly the other.

That was Texas.  There's Florida, too.

Naivete doesn't win elections, nor does it do much good against determined, amoral, liars.

Evers Starts the Problem, Runs Away

Apparently it never occurred to Tony Evers that closing down 50+++% of the businesses in this State would create a problem with the Unemployment Comp system.

So after 8 weeks of leaving the office early, Tony issues his talking points:

THE REPUBLICANS DID IT!!

K, then, Tony.  That's what all the Big Boys do.

Don't forget:  Evers has NEVER missed a paycheck in his entire miserable career.

The Mask Nazis are becoming an irritant.  That's because they don't read.

AgitProp from DHS About Protests

Waving the bloody flag.  Original, eh?

Lockdowns and strict social distancing rules have collapsed local economies, led to depression-level unemployment, and sparked outrage among many Americans, resulting in nationwide reopening protests. A new report via the Department of Homeland Security Counterterrorism Mission Center, first seen by ABC News, warns if additional lockdowns are seen, it could very well spark violence.

"A variety of illicit actors are responding violently to stay-at-home orders and social distancing measures in place due to COVID-19, and we assess both public and private authority figures and essential workers are at highest risk of being targeted, particularly as the pandemic persists," DHS said in the report, which was distributed to law enforcement and the federal government agencies last week. ...

They cite the effigy-hang of Kentucky's Governor, the open-carrying demonstrators in the Michigan capitol building, and another open-carrying incident in Pennsylvania.

No shots fired, no injuries, and no deaths, unlike a typical weekend in Chicago, Detroit, or Milwaukee.  So where is the REAL danger?  People who wave rifles around, or people who shoot others?

The DHS "report" was put out simply to stir up the MSM and the Karens.

Believe Your Government!!

Because your government never lies.

Where's Mifsud?

If you've followed the story, you'll recognize the name Joseph Mifsud.

Well, then.  Joseph Mifsud worked for the Clinton Foundation.

And after George Papadopolous' wife testified to Congress that Mifsud was an employee of the Clintons, ..........

Mifsud disappeared.

However, unlike other similarly-knowledgeable people, he was NOT found in a field or crossroads in Arkansas, nor Ft. Marcy Park, nor in a plane-crash site in Eastern Europe.  In fact, he hasn't been found at all.

And you thought Epstein was the last Arkancide!!  Silly you.

Slapping the Lefty

This will be a lot of fun to implement, no?  HT:  Peter

The Unbearable Lightness of Masks

The author here works in the nuclear power biz.  He soaks up techno-stuff like a sponge and puts it into plain English very effectively.

...I have some experience in air filtration engineering from my early career testing and balancing HEPA filters and charcoal adsorbers.  HEPA filters (of concern here) work by particle interception due to electrostatic force.  Surgical masks, cloths, handkerchiefs, and other manner of cotton material (cotton is cellulose) do not have that.

My daughter wears one in surgery and the ER to prevent potential blood-borne pathogens from entering her mouth, not to prevent SARS-CoV-2, flu or the common cold (which is also a Coronavirus).  N95 masks are just that, 95% efficient for particles down to a given size.  Moreover, when a nuclear or chemical worker wears a full face respirator, if the wearer is a male and has a beard, he must shave.  Workers have tried to create work-arounds for this by glazing their face with Vaseline, but the seal never works.  The bulk of breathing air goes around the filtration media if there is no testable seal, not through it.  This is true of full face respirators, and it is true in the superlative for these silly little masks half of America is wearing.

When you put an N95 mask on, the bulk of your breathing air is going under and over the top of the mask, not through it.  Furthermore, every decontamination technique eventually destroys the electrostatic charge on the fibers, thus rendering the mask useless.  It’s designed to be worn and then thrown away.  It’s actually worse than useless, because we are now learning that there is a heavy viral and pathogenic loading on both the outside and the inside of the filter media, and we also now know that the degree to which a patient suffers from this disease is a function – at least partially – of the amount of inoculate that you breathe....
Further, people with any sort of lung disorder (asthma, COPD) should NOT wear masks because they serve to reduce the intake of 'fresh oxygen' while increasing the amount of 'used CO2' inhaled.

The linked post ALSO has a study from NIH in England showing that asymptomatic carriers are NOT able to spread the disease well, if at all.

You won't see that in the "Press."

Racine's "Police Work"

In Racine, The Sky Is Falling.

Racine police in a news release Sunday, May 24 shared photos from a scene officers were dispatched to “last weekend, where a large crowd was assembled.” Police called “events of this nature in the midst of a pandemic irresponsible,” and offered a link where “active violations may be communicated.”...
One wonders if this is what the cops signed up for.

One ALSO wonders if the cops actually think this is "doing good."

Memorial Day

This from Wilfred Owen, British soldier-poet serving during WWI.  He was killed three hours before the Armistice began.

What passing-bells for these who die as cattle?
Only the monstrous anger of the guns.
Only the stuttering rifles' rapid rattle
Can patter out their hasty orisons.
No mockeries now for them; no prayers nor bells;
Nor any voice of mourning save the choirs,
The shrill, demented choirs of wailing shells;
And bugles calling for them from sad shires.
What candles may be held to speed them all?
Not in the hands of boys, but in their eyes
Shall shine the holy glimmers of good-byes.
The pallor of girls' brows shall be their pall;
Their flowers the tenderness of patient minds,
And each slow dusk a drawing-down of blinds.

May their souls rest in peace.

Fauci, Perjurer on CoVid19

Well, well, well.

It appears that Fauci has a severe case of "Sky Is Falling!!" maniac presentation.  And it appears that the President's germophobia has serious consequences, too.

...Fauci has to be investigated to find out why on earth he pushed these catastrophic measures on us using projections he knew to be false. He also needs to be indicted for peddling his lies before Congress and held criminally accountable for all the death and devastation he’s caused as well....

As reported at PJMedia, the IFR of Chinese Communist Party Virus is likely to be well under 0.4%; in fact, it could wind up being comparable to any Asian Flu IFR of 0.1%.

(Review:  "IFR" is "Infection Fatality Rate".  That is the number of deaths attributed to a disease divided by the TOTAL NUMBER of people who had the disease--even those who were asymptomatic, or had mild symptoms.  We still have no idea how many people actually HAD WuFlu, but as you'll see below, it's a lot.  "CFR" is the number of people who died from the disease divided by the number of known postive-tested cases.

...throughout March, Fauci himself issued dire warnings that COVID-19 was “at least 10 times more lethal than the flu.” He swore to it while testifying to Congress on March 11, generating a blizzard of scare-mongering headlines hammering the frightening numerical comparison into our heads. And he repeated the bogus numbers in a March 27 appearance on Comedy Central....
(Yes, there is a difference between Congress and Comedy Central.  Comedy Central has less flagrant liars.)

March 11, eh?  SWORN testimony, eh?  Ten times more lethal, eh?

...As first reported by Sharyl Attkisson, Fauci published an article addressed to his fellow researchers at the esteemed New England Journal of Medicine’s website on February 28. And, it not only contained a quite different take on the threat COVID-19 posed than the one he would soon start pushing on the American public. He even explained exactly why the stats he would go on to spend the next month terrorizing us with were bogus!...
And what did the article say??

"The overall clinical consequences of Covid-19 may ultimately be more akin to those of a severe seasonal influenza (which has a case fatality rate of approximately 0.1%)."
Oh.

So we had a maniac with an MD degree inform a germophobe that it's TEOTWAWKI, despite the maniac-MD knowing that he was lying like a rug.

That worked out real well, didn't it?

Abp Listecki's Unjust Law

In addition to the shocking memo delaying public Mass at several majority-Hispanic parishes in Milwaukee, the Archbishop has promulgated a classic "unjust law"

Communion is to be received ONLY in the HAND.
There is absolutely no legal foundation for this proscription and since it is an unjust law, any priest may simply disregard it.  Of course, that priest will be hung by their thumbs and exiled to a Diocese in Northern Alaska--or forcibly retired--or dragged off to one of the two psychiatric "hospitals" run by Nurse Rached and favored by the Bishops in Maryland and New Mexico (IIRC).

The Archbishop sprays foo-foo dust about some Canon Law which he claims over-rides the permanent law of the Church.  Uh-huh.  This Archbishop is not telling the truth, which happens to be a major fault among priests in this Archdiocese, too.

His lottery-game "instructions" for parishes attempting to hold public Masses is another story, of course.

Not very hard to conclude that Abp. Jerry really doesn't want Catholics in the pews, is it?

Ninth Circus Voids First Amendment

Trump cannot possibly move fast enough on Appeals judges.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit upheld Gov. Gavin Newsom's ban on in-person church services. The decision was in response to a lawsuit brought forth by a California church that argued that the governor's lockdown orders violated First Amendment rights....

..."Individuals can practice religion in whatever way they wish, as long as they're not sitting with each other in large groups inside," [district judge] Bashant said.

The South Bay United Pentecostal Church appealed the decision, but the Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals upheld Newsom's ban on in-person church services late Friday. In a 2-1 decision, the federal appeals court upheld the state's ban, saying that the shelter-in-place orders do not violate the First Amendment, adding that churches are a "higher risk workplace."

"Where state action does not 'infringe upon or restrict practices because of their religious motivation' and does not 'in a selective manner impose burdens only on conduct motivated by religious belief,' it does not violate the First Amendment," the ruling said....
But--in reality-land--this IS a case of disparate treatment.

..."By explicitly and categorically assigning all in-person 'religious services' to a future Phase 3 — without any express regard to the number of attendees, the size of the space, or the safety protocols followed in such services — the State's Reopening Plan undeniably discriminate[s] on its face against religious conduct," Collins wrote....

Guess who appointed Collins?

Regardless of Hack-in-Black twaddle:

...Last week, more than 1,200 California pastors proclaimed that they will defy Newsom's shelter-in-place executive order and will resume in-person church services....
None of them are Catholics, of course.  THOSE Bishops are playing "Girl With the Curl", just like Wisconsin's.

MN Gov. Walz Caves to Churches And The Constitution

During the last week, the Bishops of Minnesota and their Missouri Lutheran correspondents announced that they would be opening their churches in direct defiance of Gov. Walz's "Imprisonment" orders.  Then President Trump suggested that he might intervene if necessary.  This post could be titled "Unruly Catholics, Lutherans, Exercise Religion"

Walz caved.

We pastors of the Archdiocese of Saint Paul - Minneapolis have just received official word from our chancery that the Governor of Minnesota will be substantially relaxing his restrictions upon religious gatherings to allow for up to 250 persons to gather in churches. The Governor will announce this on Tuesday and Catholic Masses will begin in churches the following day.  Without doubt this significant compromise on the part of the Governor is due to the heroic efforts of the Catholic Bishops of our State and the equally heroic directive of President Trump to open up churches immediately. The State, our Nation and the entire Church and world should be grateful to these faithful Bishops and fearless President.
While Trump cannot "order" States to conform to the Constitution's Free Exercise clause, he can sic the entire Department of Justice on them as he did in Illinois on a related matter.

Here's the question:  what took the Minnesota Bishops so long?

The "Lockdown" Imprisonment: "Waste of Time"

Nice to know that some people pull no punches.

The coronavirus lockdown could have caused more deaths than it saved, a Nobel laureate scientist has claimed.

Michael Levitt, a Stanford University professor who correctly predicted the initial scale of the pandemic, suggested the decision to keep people indoors was motivated by 'panic' rather than the best science

Professor Levitt also said the modelling that caused the government to bring in the lockdown - carried out by Professor Neil Ferguson - over-estimated the death toll by '10 or 12 times'.

His claims echo those in a JP Morgan report that said lockdowns failed to alter the course of the pandemic but have instead 'destroyed millions of livelihoods'.

Author Marko Kolanovic, a trained physicist and a strategist for JP Morgan, said governments had been spooked by 'flawed scientific papers' into imposing lockdowns which were 'inefficient or late' and had little effect.

He said falling infection rates since lockdowns were lifted suggest that the virus 'likely has its own dynamics' which are 'unrelated to often inconsistent lockdown measures'. .
Since the Imperial College/IHME numbers were 'first on the market,' and since they predicted a calamity--in a ridiculous overestimation--one cannot blame public officials who reacted the way they did, until we got to Week Three and saw that the Imperial/IHME numbers did not work.

After that, the "wise men" running States (and the Feds) were losing credibility every single day.

In a way, that's a good thing.

Milwaukee's Very Strange Church Re-Opening

The Archbishop of Milwaukee sent a letter to a couple dozen near-South Side Catholic churches, telling them that they will REMAIN closed for the foreseeable future.  The reasoning is.......strange.  Some have called it "racist" since those parishes have largely Hispanic membership.

Here's the operative text:

...The Archdiocese of Milwaukee’s Catholic Comeback calls for the gradual return to Sunday Mass beginning on Pentecost Sunday, May 31. However, some have expressed concerns, particularly in the City of Milwaukee, about the ability to do so safely and responsibly.

After consultation with the Vicar General for the area and with some of the pastors of the near south side Milwaukee parishes, I have concerns about our ability to control both attendance and proper social distancing protocols. The health and safety of our people is our priority. I do not want to put anyone at undue risk. Given my understanding of the current health realities, the risk of returning to Mass for Pentecost is a risk in good conscience that I cannot take.

As such, I am directing the parishes of the near south side of Milwaukee to delay the return to Mass beyond May 31. It is important that we stay unified in our decisions and in the gradual return to Mass and the reopening of our parishes....
One not-Hispanic casualty is St Stanislaus, an ICK parish using the Old Rite Mass.  The parishioners there come from all over the greater Milwaukee area although there are some Hispanic members.

More Observations

Last week most of the State "re-opened" except for the City of Milwaukee, Madistan, and Dane County.  The City of Racine is continuing its repression of citizens (subjects?) as well.

As an 'essential' employee during the entire Imprisonment, we were first-hand observers of traffic around the Upper Midwest.  Early on, it was very sparse, indeed--for the first time in my long memory, driving the Illinois Tollway was actually a pleasure!

But in the last week or so, a combination of "un-Imprisonment" and rebellious citizens have changed the picture.  Yesterday afternoon, westbound I-94 coming out of Milwaukee County was as almost as thick as ever before, lacking only the stop-and-go usually found between Hy. 18 and Hy. 164.

Hmmm.

PowerLine observes something germane:

...more and more Americans are saying “nuts!” to the shutdown, and the politicians are starting to “adjust” their reopening schedules, supposedly linked to “new information,” but the relevant new information is that civil disobedience is spreading....
Yup.  I was in the Twin Cities early this week, and beltline traffic (I-494) was fairly thick although the MSP airport was--like Milwaukee's--near-empty.

You're Not Scared Enough, Dammit!

Since some limited normalcy has returned to most of the US, the Imperial College of London put out another YOU'RE GOING TO DIE!!!  RUN!!! HIDE!!! statement.  (Same bunch that put out the 2 MILLION++ dead in the US projection, but never mind.)

You are not scared enough, so they have more scary stuff.

...The model, which has not been peer reviewed, shows that in the majority of states, a second wave looms if people abandon efforts to mitigate the viral spread.

"There's evidence that the U.S. is not under control, as an entire country," said Samir Bhatt, a senior lecturer in geostatistics at Imperial College.

The model shows potentially ominous scenarios if people move around as they did previously and do so without taking precautions. In California and Florida, the death rate could spike to roughly 1,000 deaths a day by July without efforts to mitigate the spread, according to the report....
The news outlet (The Hour) had enough sense to insert the 'which has not been peer reviewed' phrase as swallowing these studies whole has backfired.

Keep your eyes on the ball.  There is momentum among TPTB for enforcement (with cops) of 'Social Distance' and masks until a vaccine is found (not likely, ever) and/or a "cure" is found (equally.......ahhh...........challenging.)

You WILL obey.

Totalitarian states forced their subjects to lie to themselves and others.  There are a lot of lies surrounding the WuFlu, beginning with "the Chinese didn't do it" lie.

Resist.

The Masque of the Red Bishop (Seitz)

OK, so the idea of wearing a mask is to prevent YOU from giving Peking Pox to your aging and infirm mother, right?

K, then.  Let's do the math.

The basic CoronaVirus is 125 nanometers in width.  Pretty damn small.

HOW small, you ask?

THIS small:  0.00000492126"

49 millionths of an inch.  Like I said, pretty damn small.

OK, class??  Good!!

Now let's move on to ordinary single-use masks--those paper jobbers with ear-clinger straps.  They cannot stop anything smaller than...........

Ta-Da!!

3 microns.

K.  So how big is three microns??  Glad you asked!!

0.00011811024"

11 ten-thousandths of an inch.

Got that?  Good.

Now, class,  can the 49 millionths CommieCrunch get through the 11 ten-thousandths face mask?

.................waiting.................waiting................waiting..........

CORRECT!!  It can get through that mask along with 25 of its closest friends and KILL YOUR GRANNY DEAD RIGHT ON THE SPOT!!

Apparently Bp. Seitz never took math, eh?

This is the Bishop who encourages people to break US laws wholesale regarding immigration.  How the Hell does he expect Catholics to pay any attention to his rather oddly-mannered bleating about 'laws'--especially since he is advocating a completely useless protocol?

MI AG Nessel: Incompetent Ranter

It appears that the State of Michigan has TWO elected problems:  the Totalitaribitch "Stretchin' Gretchen" Whitmer and the incompetent, lesbian, Ranter-AG Nessel.

Judge Matthew Stewart ruled that Karl Manke will not have to close his shop after the state again failed to prove he was an imminent danger to public health....

...“(The attorney general) has not presented any studies underlying the doctor’s conclusion. (The attorney general) has not shown any nexus between the cutting of hair and an increased risk of transmission,” Stewart wrote, the Detroit Free Press reported.

“(The attorney general’s) filings rest more on general facts about COVID-19 than specific practices or conditions at (Manke’s) business.”...
Aside from her utter failure against a 77-year-old barber (above, ) Ranter-AG Nessel made headlines with her comments about the President on some network:

WOLF BLITZER: This morning, right here on CNN, you said that if President Trump doesn’t wear a mask, he’ll be asked not to return to any enclosed facilities in your state. Is the president no longer welcome in Michigan?

DANA NESSEL: I will say speaking on behalf of my department and my office, that’s right. That’s exactly right. Today’s events were extremely disappointing, and yet totally predictable. I will say that, understanding of course that his own doctor, Dr. Fauci, recommends the wearing of masks in public and closed spaces. The CDC makes that recommendation and in Michigan, that is the law, and a court just upheld that hours ago. And even in Ford, it’s their own policy. The president is like a petulant child, who refuses to follow the rule, and I have to say, this is no joke.
Note to Ms. Incompetent:  Trump won that round with you--handily.  Not only are you incompetent (see barber, rounds 1 and 2), you are an idiot-ranter who walked right into that spider's house.

Keep it up, and the U.P. will be begging to become part of Wisconsin.

Want More WuFlu? Lockdown Longer!!

So JPMorgan ran a study.  Note results:  Longer lockdown, more Peking Pox.

Image

Whoops! Mall of America....

........is 60 days past due on its mortgage.  Anybody have $1.4 BN to buy them out?

The Moderna Vaccine.........UGH!

Robert F Kennedy, Jr. authored this little item.

...The vaccine, developed and championed by Anthony Fauci and financed by Bill Gates, used an experimental MRNA technology that the two men hoped would allow rapid deployment to meet President Trump’s ambitions “warp speed” time line.

Dr. Fauci was so confident of his shot’s safety that he waved ferret and primate studies ( Moderna suspiciously reported no health data from its mouse studies). That appears to have been a mistake.
Three of the 15 human guinea pigs in the high dose cohort (250 mcg) suffered a “serious adverse event” within 43 days of receiving Moderna’s jab.

Moderna did not release its clinical trial study or raw data, but its press release, which was freighted with inconsistencies acknowledged that three volunteers developed Grade 3 systemic events defined by the FDA as “Preventing daily activity and requiring medical intervention. “

Moderna allowed only exceptionally healthy volunteers to participate in the study. A vaccine with those reaction rates could cause grave injuries in 1.5 billion humans if administered to “every person on earth”....
Note that Fauci 'developed' the vaccine.......interesting.

Wonder if ol' Dershowitz will be taking this one, eh?

The Bishops and Mythology

It's one thing for the Protties and atheists to accuse Catholics of believing in myths.  One grows to expect that; it's water off a duck's back.

It's another thing entirely for Bishops to embrace mythology--and force the Faithful to embrace the same gaseous fable.

I speak of "social distancing," of course.

Go ahead.  DuckDuckGo "social distance" +science, +evidence, +disease suppression.....any combo you want.  Almost all the results have to do with mental illnesses OR racial problems in the workplace.

Oh.

The other references are to the CDC website which merely claims WITH NO EVIDENCE CITED that 'social distancing' is a good way to bend the curve because........you spray cooties when you talk, sing, cough, or sneeze.  (What a discovery THAT is, eh?)

As Jeffrey Tucker discovered, "social distancing" was discovered by a high-school girl writing about high-school social patterns and adopted--without criticism or analysis--by the Bush Administration during the H1N1 episode.

That's really impressive science, eh?

As to the Bishops:  they also believe the myth that Catholics will support them in their endless calls for More Money.

That's when they'll learn the real meaning of the term "socially distant."  And it's well-deserved.

Visit Children? YOU MAY DIE!!!

Nothing like an upbeat message from Tony Evers' people, eh??

Officials with the Wisconsin Department of Health Services said you can still have a Memorial Day weekend barbecue -- just don't invite anyone who doesn't already live with you, as they continue to work to get a handle on the coronavirus.
OK, then.  No relatives, no friends.  Have a GREAT holiday!!

Doom & Gloom in MKE??

Here ya go!!  Your daily dose of DOOM!!  DYING!!!!  DEATH!!!! in convention-less Milwaukee:

...local hospitals have seen more COVID-19 patients in recent days.

A week ago, there were 146 patients; there were 189 Wednesday. It would be too soon to attribute that increase to businesses opening under the Supreme Court decision, given the incubation period of COVID-19.

But Weston said he is concerned about what will happen in the days ahead....
One expects to see minor hills and valleys, especially when people are confined to small, closed spaces--like their homes.

Meantime, Wisconsin Hospital Ass'n is more than ready.  In SE Wisconsin, they report 289 active Peking Pox patients, with 1,100 beds IMMEDIATELY available (all classes) and about 350 bedside ventilators available, too.

CDC Goes All Emily Litella

You can look up Emily Litella under "Never Mind!"

Meantime we have CDC, temporarily off their pursuit of gun regulation adventures:

The US Centers for Disease Control and Prevention now says the coronavirus “does not spread easily” through touching surfaces or objects.

In early March, the federal health agency was warning that it “may be possible” to pass on the virus from contaminated surfaces, according to Fox News.

Its guidelines now include a section on ways the virus doesn’t easily spread — including from touching surfaces or objects....
Here's how to benefit from CDC's woeful horse-crappery:  watch which stocks Senate Intel Committee members (and their spouses, children, in-laws and paramours) buy or sell.  Maybe you noticed that Clorox lost ~$3.00/share or so from the 15th to the 19th?

CDC's Next Major Fail

We all know that CDC completely missed the WuFlu until it was a pretty serious problem in the USA.  They were too busy trying to make gun deaths into a disease, so that CDC could control guns.  (Yes, I'm serious.)

Anyhow.  They failed to warn about WuFlu.  Then they--and Fauci, Birx, and Trump, used numbers which were ludicrous (Imperial College)--another serious error.

Now CDC comes up with "re-opening guidelines."

We'll focus on the school requirements....

Daily health-checks for every student.  Masks required for all children over the age of 2.  Desks will be 6 feet apart.  There will be no lunchrooms and no playground activity.

That will be a FAIL.  Teachers will not be able to control their rooms for these inane regulations--meaning that they will teach EVEN LESS than they do now.  And without a recess--run/play recess--those kids will be little time-bombs.

Let's see how long that crap holds up.  No wonder Trump is thinking about replacing CDC management......

So Much for the First Amendment

Trump Slams W.H.O. on Abortion, Too

W.H.O. is now a tool of the Communist Chinese, and before that was a tool of the West's anti-human faction which ran a large-scale eugenics (population control) business in areas of the globe NOT occupied by Caucasians.

The commonality between the Commies and the Population Controllers?  Killing humans or reducing their numbers.

Trump & Co. strongly disapprove.

...At the WHO’s virtual World Health Assembly (WHA), the U.S. delegation said in a statement it was dissociating itself from two paragraphs in a broader resolution on the coronavirus pandemic, because of language used by some to assert an international right to abortion.

“We do not accept references to ‘sexual and reproductive health,’ or other language that suggests or explicitly states that access to abortion is included in the provision of population and individual level health services,” the statement said.

It said the U.S. “believes in legal protections for the unborn,” and that it rejects any interpretation of international human rights that requires a country to provide access to abortion.

“Each nation has the sovereign right to implement related programs and activities consistent with their laws and policies, free from external pressure,” the statement said. “There is no international right to abortion, nor is there any duty on the part of states to finance or facilitate abortion.”

The statement added that the U.S. does not recognize abortion as a method of family planning, and does not support abortion in its global health assistance.

It may well be that the Trump Administration is more pro-life than is Catholic Relief Services.

Pritzker Invades Wisconsin, Lies Like Hell

The Illinois Dictator has invaded Wisconsin.

Gov. Pritzker has a farm in Racine*, Wis. that he's been spending time at with his family during the pandemic; however, some people are saying this is a violation of his own Stay-at-Home order....

Now get this line:

..."I just will say we have a working farm. They're there now. There are animals on that farm, that it's an essential function to take care of animals at a farm, so that's what they're doing."
So let me get this straight.  The multi-billionaire Pritzker, who owns an estate on Lake Geneva, another in downtown Chicago, and a horse farm in Florida, is implying that he and his family have been WORKING ON A LIVESTOCK FARM?  Like shoveling manure and hauling baled alfalfa to feed the critters?

REALLY?

We thought maybe he was in Wisconsin because he wanted to be in a State that has a professional football team.

*Have heard that the farm may be in Kenosha County, not Racine.

Evers Pays Do-Nothing Employees, Starves Unemployed

You were expecting something else?  Tokin'Tony just re-arranged State employment regs to pay State employees to sit at home and do NOTHING.

...Earlier this month, the state Department of Administration Division of Personnel Management notified the Legislature that Gov. Tony Evers had approved the emergency rule for limited term employees (LTEs). It creates a new limited exception that allows state agencies to approve LTEs to stay at home without working and without loss of pay during the pandemic.

“For the exception to apply, the reason for absence must specifically be related to the pandemic, such as a situation where the employee’s continued presence at the worksite compromises the safety or security of the employee, other persons, the public or the worksite.”...
Of course there's more.

...The rule also provides pandemic-related benefits to state employees, such as sick time for public workers who contract COVID-19. The emergency rule creates a new limited exception that allows employees to use sick leave for the care of individuals … “regardless of whether they are sick or not.” LTEs can do so “for the necessary period of time” without receiving prior approval. So the government employees can use sick leave if they can’t find child care because of a school closure during the pandemic. ...
Now, then.  Why did the State pay contractors to hire 500 people to take Unemployment Comp claims when ALL THESE STATE EMPLOYEES are sitting on their asses at home--and being paid?

This is our (current) Governor.  Recall season commences very soon.

Suing to Fraud the Vote!!

"Community Organizers" (just like Obama!!!!) were looking for more ways to commit vote fraud since busing from Chicago was pretty easy to see.  So after a bit of scheming......away they go!!

A disability rights group and others sued Wisconsin election officials Monday to try to ensure the state has enough poll workers and guarantee voters who want absentee ballots receive them, adding to a cascade of litigation over how elections should be run as the coronavirus pandemic persists....
You'll be SHOCKED to know they filed this thing in Madistan so they'd get this State's pre-eminent Hack-in-Black, Bill (Bozo) Conley--the Reversal King of elections lawsuits!

...It aims to force election officials to hire more poll workers, send absentee ballot request forms to all registered voters, set up secure drop boxes for absentee ballots in every community and notify voters if their ballots won’t be counted so they have time to fix any problems....

This all sounds so......nice!  And like Unicorn Farts, and Rainbows, an' stuff!!

It's all bullshit.

1)  Choo-Choo Barret and some insignificant twit-Mayor in Green Bay set up the "hire more people" game by blatantly refusing to open polling places in April.  They should be charged, arrested, and indicted for their crimes.

2)  Sending forms to "registered voters"--what a scam that is, since there are TWO HUNDRED FORTY THOUSAND "registered voters" who don't seem to live at the address from which they "registered."  And it won't be a problem for these "activists" to find another 240,000 if they need 'em.  There are plenty of boxes and car-trunks around.

3)  The "secure drop-box for votes" thing tells you that these "community organizers" think you are as dumb as a sack of rocks.  That might apply to "Hack" Conley, of course--and that's all they need.

It gets better!!

...One aspect of the new case that differentiates it from the others is that it was brought by voters who claim they were directly harmed by how the April 7 election was conducted.

Jill Swenson of Appleton has early stage chronic obstructive pulmonary disease, or COPD. She received an absentee ballot but couldn’t find a witness to sign it for her because she lives alone and did not want to leave her home or have visitors because of health concerns.

After Conley ruled in the other cases that voters like her could cast absentee ballots without a witness, Swenson mailed in her ballot. Later that day, an appeals court overturned Conley’s ruling and Swenson’s ballot was not counted, according to the new lawsuit....
Apparently Ms. Conley has NO relatives and her "friends" are not really friends.  It's also possible that she's lying like Hell, which is a hallmark of lonely attention-seeker Lefties, but .......hey........no one's going to investigate her story.

There are other "I'm AFRAID" stories in the lawsuit.  Here's the thing:  they chose NOT to vote.  The right to vote is intact; no one interfered with that right.  They chose NOT to vote.  Big difference.

By the way, be sure to check out the "non-partisan" groups shoving this load of crap into Conley's office.  Links are provided in the news article.  It's a load of laughs.

Cellphone Data.....

You know that "anonymized cellphone data tracking" is being sold to retailer/advertisers with the idea that they can more easily target advertising if they know where people go, right?

Well, it has other purposes.

Cellphone location data suggests that demonstrators at anti-lockdown protests – some of which have been connected with Covid-19 cases – are often traveling hundreds of miles to events, returning to all parts of their states, and even crossing into neighboring ones.

The data, provided to the Guardian by the progressive campaign group the Committee to Protect Medicare,...
Not to worry.  It's "anonymized" so "progressive campaign groups" won't know too much.

Buried Wu-Flu News

Despite the fact that the chart is simple enough for most "news" people to read, and that it's very easy to find with DuckDuckGo or Google..........despite all that, you never hear about it.

Gee.  I wonder why that could be?

So when you get to that page, scroll down a bit.  See the chart?  Good.

See the left-hand portion labeled "SARS-CoV-2 Positive" and "Trend"?  Good.

Now read what it says, going down through all 10 regions of the USA.

Yup.  "Declining" trend with one exception, with that trend being anywhere from 1 to 6 weeks.

Huh.  How did Tony the Hall-Monitor and his Abortion Barbies Palm & Gau miss that?

How did Teddy Perry and Whoever's on the Other Channels miss that?

Truly a mystery.

Sen. John Kennedy (R-LA)!!

Saw this clip yesterday and laughed for quite some time.

SPOILER ALERT:  Here's the text.

...Sen. John Kennedy, R-La., said on Sunday that he believes the $3 trillion Heroes Act that the Democrat-led House passed late last week has no chance of clearing the Senate – arguing that it is more of a Democrat wish list than it is legislation meant to ease the economic blow from the coronavirus pandemic

“It's not going to pass the Senate, nor should it,” Kennedy said during an interview on “Sunday Morning Futures.” “My fellow Republicans in the Senate have tried to see things from the speaker's point of view, but we can't get our heads that far up our rear ends, and I think any fair-minded American would agree.”...
Someday somebody's going to assemble a supercut of Kennedy's remarks.  He's great--and very funny.

Best part:  he says exactly what most people think.  Kinda liberating, ya'know?

The "Gimme Money or the Kitten Gets It" Game

Newsom of California wants Federal money for the California deficit which he claims is all "China Lung-Rot related."  That would be $54.3 BILLION by his estimate.

How to extort that money?  Easy--it's the same game they always play.

...Well, these same folks that say it’s dead on arrival, I hope they will consider this. The next time they want to salute and celebrate our heroes, our first responders, our police officers, and firefighters, consider the fact that they are the first ones that will be laid off by cities and counties....
Sound familiar?  Yup.  When your School Board wants more money so they can build monuments to themselves and meet the demands of the Teachers' Union, they tell you that 'without the money, we'll have to cancel all the sports.'

Trump and Congress already sent a bunch of money to the States for Peking Pox-related expenses; Wisconsin alone will get $1.6 BILLION.  Haven't fired one cop yet--nor one teacher.  But yah, they did cancel all the sports already.

See how that works??

Chicago's WAR on Church-Goers

The City of Chicago is at war with practicing Christians.

Second City Cop has the news from outside a Romanian Orthodox Church, where the City towed every car on the (residential) street, most of which belonged to residents who live there.  The tow-orders were aimed at church-goers, however, with "no parking/tow-away" signs posted only a day ago.

There's more.

Second City Cop also posts a note from a Pentecostal church which had an agreement with a nearby bank to use the bank's parking lot for services.  The City of Chicago sent cops to BLOCK the driveway of the bank lot (that's tortious interference, friends).  Yes, there will be a lawsuit.

The cops were "just following orders," insuring themselves of enduring friendship and assistance from citizens when the cops' asses are on the line sometime in the future.  Uh-huh.

You won't be surprised to learn that Chicago's Chief of Police is a pervert.

Gates, $100 BILLION, and Bobby Rush

Corey's little piece of work here has a lot of interesting stuff.

Apparently, Bobby Rush (look him up) spent a bit of inspiring time at the Aspen Institute with Bill Gates, who thinks every human being is just another Systems Theory subject and can be repaired with just a little better MS-Basic code.  Yup.

Anyhow, Rush writes up a bill requiring ONE HUNDRED BILLION SMACKERS to fund a bunch of "trackers" to go door-to-door "tracking" you virus people.  Only when you've been Certified will you get a stamp (or something) letting you out of your home.

How very nice of them.

...Bobby and 44 of his Democrat friends and one Republican from New Jersey would like a cool $100 BILLION dollar grant program for local organizations to hire, train, and pay individuals to run mobile testing units and conduct door-to-door outreach, as well as monitor and quarantine.

And that fast, just 13 days after the TRACE Act was introduced, Nancy Pelosi snuck it into her new 1,815-page draft for a $3 trillion coronavirus package, requesting $75 billion for “Covid-19 testing, tracing and isolation efforts.” Once again, this package is another wish list that also aims to prohibit voter id requirements to obtain a ballot....
It's not a conspiracy theory if it's facts, friends.

Airborne or Not, Chinee Virus Is Over With

Earlier, we mentioned Scare Tactic #243:  it's airborne and YOU WILL DIE!!  Or maybe YOU WILL KILL GRANNY!!!!

But probably not.  This from Wittkowski (banned by YouTube and HT Grim):

...On 17 April, Robert Redfield, director of the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, presented data at the coronavirus presidential briefing at the White House. And there was one plot that he presented. And I looked at it and asked why people were not jumping to their feet. Why were people not understanding what they were looking at? The plot was the data from the ILINet. For 15 years, hospitals have counted every person who shows up with an influenza-like illness – fever, coughing, whatever. There were three spikes in the 2019-2020 flu season. The first was in late December – influenza B. The next was in late January – an influenza A epidemic. And then there was one that had a peak in hospital visits around 8 March – Covid-19. For the peak to happen on that day, those patients have to go through a seven-day incubation period and then have symptoms. But they do not go to the hospital with the first symptoms. If it gets worse over three days, only then do they go to a hospital.

Four weeks later, on 8 April, the number of new infections was already down. In time for Easter, our governments should have acknowledged they were overly cautious. People would have accepted that. Two weeks’ shutdown would not have been the end of the world. We would not have what we have now – 30million people unemployed in the United States, for example. Companies do not go bankrupt over a two-week period. Two months is a very different story. If you have to pay rent for two months for a restaurant in New York with no income, you will go bankrupt. We see unemployment, we see bankruptcies, we see a lot of money wasted for economic-rescue packages – trillions of dollars in the United States. We see more deaths and illness than we would otherwise have had.

And it is going on and on and on, just because governments are afraid of admitting an error....
Trump won't admit an error, of course.  (That's for you idiots who think I never criticize Trump.)  But neither will Doc Fauci, the CDC, nor Scarf-Lady (although she's making noise like someone who can actually read the charts.)

Locally, it's clear that Hall-Monitor Evers and Choo-Choo Tommy cannot read charts at all.  Where do we FIND such 'men'?

The "New Normal" Eucharist Is Near-Never?

It seems that Jansenism Lite has begun infecting Catholic interwebz pundits.

This is the suddenly-emerging school which is attempting to make the case for INFREQUENT Communion because that's the way it was in the Good Old Days and after all, Catholics are big sinners (serious sin!!) and so they're sacrilegious, too!!  This thing apparently began in England, but it got here fast.

Used to be that one could be suspected of the Evil of "Vatican II thinking".  NOW one can be suspected of the Evil of "St. Pius X thinking".  I smell an advancing antiquarianism, condemned by St. Pius XII--but hey!  He never questioned St. Pius X's teaching, so he's probably a suspect, too.

As a matter of interest, here's a bit of St. Pius X's writing.  See if it rings any bells.

For who can fail to see that society is at the present time, more than in any past age, suffering from a terrible and deep rooted malady which, developing every day and eating into its inmost being, is dragging it to destruction?

You understand, Venerable Brethren, what this disease is – apostasy from God

We find extinguished among the majority of men all respect for the Eternal God, and no regard paid in the manifestations of public and private life to the Supreme Will – nay, every effort and every artifice is used to destroy utterly the memory and the knowledge of God …

Such, in truth, is the audacity and the wrath employed everywhere in persecuting religion, in combatting the dogmas of the faith, in brazen effort to uproot and destroy all relations between man and the Divinity!...
That was the basis of Pius' request for frequent--even daily--Communion.

What changed?  Yes, I know that some (many?) Catholics commit sacrilege by receiving in an unworthy state of soul.  Some even manage to sin by receiving within the 1-hour fast requirement.  Is it news to laymen, priests, and ex-Episcopalians that men sin?  Really??

And yes, this is not dogma, nor doctrine; it's praxis.  So maybe Fr. Z should stop distributing Communion during Mass, like in the Good Old Days?  Or Taylor Marshall should make himself (and his wife) worthy be refraining from the marital act for a suitable time before Communion?  (Yup.  Read it at this link, along with a pretty good history of the practices.)

Sheesh.  Clearly, The Imprisonment of CCCV is giving some people far too much time alone.

Obama Pouts and Stamps Widdle Feets

As the walls close in around him for his criminal #Obamagate activities pre-and post-election, Obama's pouts and shouts get louder and more frequent.

This is the squid spreading ink in the water.  But squids have better ears.

He'll never be indicted, of course.  But maybe Wingman Eric?  Susie Rice?  Sammy Power?  The whole Mueller-Comey Complex?  Most of his fanboy-flunkies in CIA/NSA?  The list is damn near endless.

ChineeCommie Virus Airborne!!!

Since the Chinese Communist Party Virus is receding, it's necessary to revive the threat so as to make face-diapers a Necessary Accessory for Living in Civilization over the next several..........weeks?  months??  years???  So you'll be seeing Scary Stories on the interwebz about airborne particulate transmission.

See, the face-diaper is a form of humiliation, just like forcing one to concede that a lie is the truth.  It's a well-known and often-practiced technique.  Usually, the practitioners are totalitarians.

Yah.  Them.

So now we're being told that the DEATH VIRUS IS IN YOUR BREATH!!!!  and it REMAINS LETHAL FOR DAYS or at least HOURS!!

*Yawn.*

Same was known about the Flu-A virus, which had a comparable infection death rate albeit a different target group.  Funny--nobody made a face-diaper into a sine qua non accessory for -A, nor -B, nor H1N1, nor SARS--all of which are viruses, all of which produced fatalities, and all of which were pandemics.

Draw your own conclusions.  Don't be a sucker.

MIchigan Totalitaribitch Hit by Another Lawsuit

It seems that Michgan has a greater affliction than Wisconsin, although it's only a matter of degree.

Michigan Gov. Gretchen Whitmer is having a tough time with the American legal system, which does not take kindly to dictators....I would have paid good money to have been in the room when she was served with a new lawsuit brought by doctors and one patient claiming her draconian lockdown orders have created a medical “time bomb” for patients who were awaiting elective surgeries and now cannot get them....

The WaTimes article is quoted:

...In addition to the economic devastation, Ms. Whitmer’s order has left hospitals and patients facing a dangerous backlog on procedures that will create a public health catastrophe of its own, said Dr. Randal Baker, a general surgeon and president of Grand Health Partners, a plaintiff based in Grand Rapids....
Some patients have had serious repercussions, described in the link.

And--surprise!!--all that is based on the same card-trick magic-numbers crapola that Evers' Abortion-Barbie Palm used:

...“Graphics depicted that while Governor Whitmer’s administration anticipated 220,000 patients being hospitalized without social distancing efforts, there had only been 3,000 hospitalizations as of April 27,” the lawsuit states. “That is less than 1.4% of the projected COVID-19 hospitalizations underlying the governor’s declared states of emergency and disaster.”...
And Totalitaribitch lies about it!
