Ya Gonna Believe the Dems Or Your Lyin' Eyes??

Contrary to MiniMike Bloomberg's Asinine Assertion, and that of the MFM (surprise!!), the President did NOT say that the Kung Flu "is a hoax."

He DID say that the (D)/Press politicization of Kung Flu is another hoax.

The flop-sweat on the left side of the spectrum is very smelly, indeed.

FEEB Spy Program Was Worthless

The guy who ran the program has some remarks.

Retired Special Agent Bassem Youssef ran the FBI’s Communications Analysis Unit from late 2004 until his retirement in late 2014. He told Just the News he fears the deeply flawed program, which was started in response to the Sept. 11 attacks, was allowed to keep going to give Americans a false sense of security in the war on terror and possibly to enable inappropriate spying, such as that which targeted President Trump’s 2016 campaign....

...the FBI performed an audit of the highly classified program (also known as the NSA program because it searched call records captured by the National Security Agency) after Edward Snowden leaked its existence.

The audit showed that while the program had generated two moderate leads for counterterrorism cases, it had not helped thwart dozens of terrorism attacks as officials had claimed, despite costing tens of millions of dollars per year.

In fact, the program was generating large numbers of “false negatives and positives,” Youssef said....
So. It was a typical bureaucracy. Employed lotsa people, cost a lot of money, did nothing at all.

Nice.

Shock! Evers Confiscates Your Money

The EversWEACBot, programmed by Maggie Gau, appeared today.

Democratic Gov. Tony Evers vetoed a tax cut Wednesday, saying Republican lawmakers should have coupled it with additional money for schools. It marked the second time in a year that the first-term governor vetoed an income tax cut offered by Republicans....

Then he cried about how Republicans were abusing him.

... "Republicans are more concerned about giving a Democratic governor a win than by getting things done," he said at a news conference at the Wauwatosa school. "Politics plain and simple."...
Poor baby!

Republicans have poured about $800 million "additional" funds into the Public Sewers Schools in the last budgets.

EversWEACBot wants to take another $200.00 from every Wisconsin taxpayer to shovel it into the bottomless hole.  That's a certified waste.

The (D) Platform

No matter which of those monkeys gets the nomination, the platform is the same.  Thanks to Don Surber, we have a concise list.

Democrats are united as never before. The debates and the recent assemblages of legislatures in New York state and Virginia have made that clear.
They stand for:

Open borders
Gun confiscation
Infanticide
Reparations
Welshing on student loans
Wealth confiscation
Ending bail
Pooping in the streets
Banning automobiles
Banning plastic

All of which appeal to only two groups of people:  those living in California, Oregon, and Washington, and those living in New York, Massachusetts, and D.C./Maryland/Virginia--at least according to their voting records.

Is there any objection to expelling those States (and DC) from the Union?

None?  Then all are in favor!!!

Let's proceed!!

Lindsey Loves Spying on ALL Americans

You will die if you hold your breath waiting for Lindsey Graham to strike a blow (ANY blow) for actual freedom.

I'll say it again:  Mr President, Sen Graham is NOT YOUR FRIEND!!

Anyhow.

Attorney General William Barr told Senate Republicans on Tuesday that the Trump administration could support a clean extension of contentious surveillance laws set to expire next month. And Barr said he could make changes on his own to satisfy President Donald Trump and his allies who have railed against the use of the law to monitor his 2016 campaign, according to senators at a party briefing....

So what are the components of the "Surveillance Laws" again??   Glad you asked!!

....the FISA “business records provision”, the “roving wiretap” provision, the “lone wolf” provision, and the more controversial bulk metadata provisions...
Yes, it is "more controversial" when you understand that NSA hoovers up every single phone call and email you ever send in its quest to "provide security".............but "security" for WHOM?

As it turns out, not for you, sucker.  It's for Our Betters in D.C.

So here's Little Lindsey:

...“You’ve got three provisions to deal with. I think it’d be smart to keep them in place. It would give us some time to work on FISA writ large, we’ve got three years,” said Senate Judiciary Chairman Lindsey Graham (R-S.C.), who is preparing hearings on FISA....
Shove it, you miserable excuse for a man.

Socialists Are NOT Catholics; Are the Bishops??

No surprise that James Zogby (the pollster) is involved here.  And once again, the US Bishops' gutless-wonder activities come to the fore.

As Bernie Sanders tries to cement his lead in the Democratic primaries, a small but vocal group of traditionalist Catholics have thrown their support behind the socialist's presidential bid.

"I will almost certainly vote for Bernie in the general if he's the nominee," Maryland resident John-Paul Teti told the Washington Examiner, "and I will vote for Trump if it's any other Democrat."

Teti is among a group of young, Latin Mass-going Catholics who have veered from their peers' more commonly conservative political opinions by supporting Sanders. In their view, the Vermont senator promotes the most cogent vision of the "common good" available to Catholic voters through policies such as Medicare for All, support for unions, and wealth taxes....

Huh.  "Theft by State" has never been part of Catholic doctrine except at the fever-swamp of the USCCB bureaucracy's palace in D.C.

See, these mal-formed and largely immature folks haven't yet absorbed the entire Catholic teaching--that "rights" do NOT exist without "responsibilities" to oneself and to others.  These poor kids (and their "adult" mentors) inserted the State virus into the Church's actual teaching which had to do with individuals helping individualsSubsidiarity, anyone??  Hello???

Then they manage to torture B-16's 'almost but not quite' statement into actual approval which B-16 did NOT do because five previous Popes flat-out condemed socialism.  Critical reading skills are not their thing, I guess.

Now for the really big problems:

...But, even as some Catholic Church leaders may look kindly on socialism, the Church condemns abortion rights, gay marriage, and transgender rights, all of which are nonnegotiable positions for Sanders...
Those problems are largely the fault of the US Bishops.

How can we say that?

Simple.

...Catholic support for Sanders represents the latest manifestation of a historic diversity among Catholic voters. The majority support former Vice President Joe Biden in 2020, with Sanders coming in second, according to a survey conducted in February by RealClearResearch and the Catholic television network EWTN. The same poll found that Catholics are also divided on key issues, with a slim majority saying that abortion should be legal and sizable majorities saying that abortion, euthanasia, and assisted suicide are not "intrinsically evil."...
There is NO WAY that so many Catholics could hold those beliefs unless their teachers--the Bishops--were missing in action.

Put another way--as I did yesterday--the Bishops in the USA have no chests and no cojonesThey fear being dis-invited from the Al Smith dinner and from the usual china-and-crystal local glitterati events and the loss of donations from the Smart Set.

In other words, they are gutless wonders.  Smarmy sheep.  Momma's boys-in-collars. The "lukewarm" destined for the spit-bowl, and deservedly so.

Pray harder.  Obviously, your previous prayers were insufficient.

The Church's "Deep State"

Why yes, there is a "Deep State" within the US Catholic Church.  Any sentient Catholic has known that for decades.  It's the USCCB staff, along with a few hundred (but not ALL) of the US Bishops themselves.  Social liberals, Big Government advocates, materialist....the whole Socialist Shebang.  It's the Obama Government in pews, singing "Here I Am, Lord!"

The USCCB staff's latest stunt is to flat-out stiff-arm the life issue in its "Voting Guide" (which could be spelled "Vote DEMOCRAT, You Deplorables!").

When America's bishops debated their "Faithful Citizenship" document at their annual meeting last November, a faction led by Cdl. Blase Cupich and Bp. Robert McElroy crafted a strategic ploy. Seeking to remove the depiction of abortion as the bishops' "pre-eminent" concern, they advocated reducing it to the status of one issue among many on their "social justice" agenda.

...Ultimately, bishops voted 143-69 in favor of keeping the "pre-eminent" language. But the bureaucracy of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops (USCCB) wasn't listening. As David Nussman reports for Church Militant, the bishops' decision was ignored by the conference staff. The video series, purporting to reflect "Faithful Citizenship" faithfully, focuses instead on familiar social justice issues — period. References and images featuring climate change, immigration and poverty abound. Unfortunately, and clearly by design, the pre-eminence of the bishops' pro-life focus is nowhere to be found....
The USCCB--a very expensive outfit--was created by none other than Bp. Jos. Bernardin, whose entire life was devoted to undermining the Catholic Church.  While USCCB's most obnoxious employee, Dolores Curran, was pushed out by Mgr. Malloy, Malloy was not allowed to finish clearing the swamp.  More recently, the head of "Catholic" News Service was fired because he opposed religious liberty (!!!)

While the optimum solution to the USCCB problem is simply to fire all the employees and sell the building, leaving Bishops to teach, sanctify, and govern their Dioceses, there is not enough courage in that Conference to pull the trigger (so to speak.)

So in the US, we have Bishops who have no chests.........and a church-paid Deep State gnawing away at the Church itself.

Donald Trump could help, at least on the pro-life issue.

KM Principal Costs KM District About $50,000.00

There are those who have lots of college degrees but remain stupid.  Such is the case with Beth Kaminski of KM High.

...A pair of sophomores at Kettle Moraine High School sued their principal in federal court a day after she told them they had to cover the T-shirts they wore to school because the shirts depicted guns.

Their lawsuit, filed in federal court last week, contends the First Amendment protects their right to show support for the Second Amendment and asks a judge to order the school not to prevent them from wearing the shirts....

... Principal Beth Kaminski, the only named defendant in the suit, told each student the shirts violated the school's dress code and they must keep them covered with their jackets....
The school's handbook does not have any language supporting Kaminski's assertion.

When the school loses--and it will--the District will be forced to pay the plaintiffs' legal fees, in addition to its own lawyers.  The total will be right around $50K.

Smooth move, Beth!

Fox6 News' Hair ON FIRE

Somebody in the "news"room at Fox6 is really, really, scratching for news.

So they have a Hair ON FIRE!! moment over some 3rd-class mailing which bills itself as a "Congressional District Census."  The bold type third line says "Commissioned by the Republican Party", so it's sure to be confused with "Census Bureau."  See, there's a "u" and a "b" and a couple of "e's" in common.

And they tell you--you dummies--that it is NOT from the Census Bureau.  They tell you that because you are really, really, really stupid and probably deplorable too.

(Sure enough, Lena Taylor has her sour little puss in there.  Hmmmm.  S'pose ol' Lena has a friend at Fox6?)

Pray for a blizzard so these twerps can have some actual news to report.

Abortion Is NOT "Family Planning"---9th Circuit!!

Bada Bing, Bada Bang, Bada Boom!

The babykillers lose again to President Trump.

How Awful Is WuFlu?

Before you clean out the grocery stores and pull the hole in after you.....consider the Swine Flu results in the US.

As of mid-March 2010, the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) estimated that about 59 million Americans contracted the H1N1 virus, 265,000 were hospitalized as a result, and 12,000 died.[117]

That's one year of Swine Flu; it came here in March 2009.

We have a long way to go before we get to those numbers.

Milwaukee History on Front Page of Ace!!

The Ace of Spades blog is not just "a blog"--it is a pretty good news source and it respects the brains of its readers.

So on today's lead post, we find this double-bill image.  The V-P candidate for the Socialist Party, Emil Seidel,  was Mayor of Milwaukee, WI.  (He was followed by two other Socialists, the brothers Carl & Frank Zeidler..  FWIW, all three ran very clean governments.)

Radical Lefties Stiff Union

The "Young Turks" is a group of ultra-left activists most famous for their success in getting AOC into Congress despite her obvious intellectual vacuum.  (We're still waiting for the Dean of Business at Boston University to commit well-deserved hara-kiri over her.)

Anyhow, this bunch has a YouTube network.  That's where the fun begins.

The Young Turks, a left-wing and pro-Bernie Sanders YouTube network, is refusing to recognize its employees' new labor union.

A week after TYT Union was formed to represent production and post-production workers at the popular liberal channel, the group announced that company leadership had refused voluntary recognition of the union....

Young Turks is NOT the only Lefty outfit to stiff a union.

...The decision from TYT—which did not respond to a request for comment—comes as other left-wing outlets have resisted employee attempts to form unions. In September, the Center for American Progress's outlet ThinkProgress was accused of union-busting after it fired its entire staff and "relaunched" with non-union employees. Months earlier, Vox Media publicly clashed with its writers' union, resulting in a site-wide walkout.
Greed comes in all flavors, eh?

Bernie's Latest: Free Child Care!!

If you thought "Medicare for All"--the Gummint-run healthcare program--was not a good plan, you ain't seen nuttin'.

Now Bernie proposes free child care, all chilluns aged birth through 4.  So the nice Gummint workers will provide a nice pre-school care program, followed by nice Gummint workers "educating" the chilluns right through college.

They'll also get free red scarves with a beautiful yellow hammer-and-sickle design......

Oh, yah.  Bernie will pay for the kiddie-care with a tax on billionaires.  No problem-o, as his pal Fidel used to say.

Trump/Russia Thing? There's ZERO Evidence

Yah, well, it appears that one more lying SOB in the DNI office will be transferred to assistant to the substitute undersecretary for sanitation affairs someplace.

CATHERINE HERRIDGE: Source familiar w/house briefing @CBSNews says briefers pressed for evidence to back up claims Russia “trying to help POTUS in 2020.” Asked if there was signals intelligence – such as phone intercepts or “SIGINT” – to back up claims, source said briefers had none to offer #DNI

Why yes, there's more!!

...The US intelligence community’s top election security official appears to have overstated the intelligence community’s formal assessment of Russian interference in the 2020 election, omitting important nuance during a briefing with lawmakers earlier this month, three national security officials told CNN....

"Shelby Pierson"--obviously a fake name--is the creature in question here.  Clarification:  he/she/it is the questionable creature.

Mayor Choo-Choo's City to Bail Out Mayor Choo-Choo's City

This is cute.

First, Mayor Choo-Choo's city takes out a $15++Million loan to purchase the old A O Smith site.  That loan has grown to $24++million including interest-to-date.

Now, because .......because.......Mayor Choo-Choo's city has to bail out that loan with $13++ Million of fresh money.  The City will snatch the money from other City TIF districts.

We haven't been told how those other TIF districts will pay for themselves yet, but you can rest assured that Tokin'Tony's phone is damn busy with nuisance calls from Choo-Choo and his pals.

Meanwhile, the Choo-Choo keeps rolling along, so long as no City snowplows rip up the tracks and derail it.

The Deeper Effects of Trump

Sundance, who will NEVER be a lover of D.C.'s swamp, tells us about the secondary and tertiary effects of electing Donald Trump.

...President Donald Trump winning the election threw a monkey wrench into the entire DC system…. In early 2017 the modern legislative machine was frozen in place.

The “America First” policies represented by candidate Donald Trump were not within the legislative constructs coming from the K-Street authors of the legislation.  There were no MAGA lobbyists waiting on Trump ideology to advance legislation based on America First objectives.

As a result of an empty feeder system, in early 2017 congress had no bills to advance because all of the myriad of bills and briefs written were not in line with President Trump policy. There was simply no entity within DC writing legislation that was in-line with President Trump’s America-First’ economic and foreign policy agenda.

Exactly the opposite was true. All of the DC legislative briefs and constructs were/are antithetical to Trump policy.  There were hundreds of file boxes filled with thousands of legislative constructs that became worthless when Donald Trump won the election.

Those legislative constructs (briefs) representing tens of millions of dollars worth of time and influence were just sitting there piled up in boxes under desks and in closets amid K-Street and the congressional offices.  Legislation needed to be in-line with an entire new political perspective, and there was no-one, no special interest or lobbying group, currently occupying DC office space with any interest in synergy with Trump policy.

Think about the larger ramifications within that truism. That is also why there was/is so much opposition.

No legislation provided by outside interests means no work for lobbyists who sell it. No work means no money. No money means no expense accounts. No expenses means politicians paying for their own indulgences etc.

Politicians were not happy without their indulgences, but the issue was actually bigger. No K-Street expenditures also means no personal benefit; and no opportunity to advance financial benefit from the insider trading system.

Without the ability to position personal wealth for benefit, why would a politician stay in office?  The income of many long-term politicians on both Republican and Democrat sides of the aisle was completely disrupted by President Trump winning the election.  That is one of the key reason why so many politicians retired immediately thereafter.

When we understand the business of DC, we understand the difference between legislation with a traditional purpose and modern legislation with a financial and political agenda....
"Public servants", eh?

Haney = Epstein. Uh-Huh

The whistleblower who described Obama's erasure of Jihadi influence died, as reported yesterday.

Today, it is reported that the death was suicide.

Just like Epstein!

State Department Imports Coronovirus to USA

You can count on the State Department, eh?

President Donald Trump is reportedly furious after underlings at the State Department decided to fly 14 Diamond Princess passengers who tested positive for coronavirus back to the U.S. without telling him, and against his wishes.

Trump had been told last Saturday that only evacuees who didn't have symptoms or positive test results would be allowed on State Department charter planes back to the US from Japan, according to the Washington Post.

Officials on the ground realized late in the evacuation process, on the airport tarmac in Tokyo, that 14 of the roughly 350 evacuees had tested positive for the virus.

State Department underlings made the quick decision to allow the infected citizens onto the flights, but separated from the other passengers within portable bio-containment units that were already on the planes, in case passengers showed symptoms during the flight....
Smooth move, State!

Expect your next posting to be in Siberia.  You'll have to build your own residence, of course.

Quaerida Questions and Answers

It didn't take very long for people to see the usual Francis plot in his Amazon paper.

First off, ignore everything in the document Francis "presented"--because it's irrelevant.  Focus instead on the first couple of grafs, which affirm the document invented by "the Synod."

When you have that part right, all else falls into place, as Tim Gordon sketches.

...Like Querida, Amoris represented: a) long awaited progressive disciplinary change b) culminating in the the synodal process, c) which was supposed to be — but was not — well defined in and circumscribed by a post-synodal exhortation d) but can be comprehended instead only in the hermeneutics of papal action subsequent to those synods. In other words, Pope Francis repeatedly returns to this trusted synodal playbook: the revolutionary should be crystal-clear about his aims for years before the synod; language should be suggestive yet opaque in the pursuant magisterial document; clarity should be restored in the subsequent pontifical instructions for worldwide action and implementation. In a word, this three-part play is the heart of “weaponized ambiguity,” to borrow the phrase of Monsignor Charles Pope....
We are not yet at the 'clarification/subsequent (malicious) instruction stage on the Amazon issue.  But it will come.

By the waters of Babylon we wept............

Obama, Kerry, Clinton: The Murderers of Nigeria

Noted by Motley Monk.

Femi Fani-Kayode, Nigeria's former Minister of Culture and Tourism, about who bears personal responsibility. Fani-Kayode said;
What Obama, John Kerry and Hilary [sic] Clinton did to Nigeria
by funding and supporting [Muhammadu] Buhari in the 2015
presidential election and helping Boko Haram in 2014/2015
was sheer wickedness. The blood of all those killed by the Buhari
administration, his Fulani herdsmen and Boko Haram over the
past 5 years are on their hands.

Another Bad Choice by Obama. Sorta like the Bad Choice in Egypt, the Bad Choice leading to Benghazi, and the Bad Choice in Iran.

Add to that how the bastard tried to demolish the USA--not just foreigners--and you have a pretty good case for banishing him to some desert island along with Hillary, Kerry, and Mooch.

Give his daughters a choice of being with him or remaining where they are; that should prove interesting, no?

Phil Haney Shot Dead

Haney was a DHS whistleblower (a legitimate one, not a Ciaramella.)

...Haney told Sean Hannity in 2016 that he was ordered during the Obama administration to scrub the record of Muslims in the US with terrorist ties.

The story of his death has still not been reported by the mainstream media.

The Gateway Pundit was notified of this last night.

Haney had been missing since Wednesday.

Philip Haney said political correctness during the Obama years killed the investigation that might have stopped the San Bernardino Christmas terrorists....
Only four months ago he was interviewed about CAIR, which is an unindicted co- conspirator, providing support to HAMAS.

...CAIR is the acronym for the Council on American Islamic Relations. It’s probably the best known Muslim organization in the country, but unfortunately, it’s also connected, irrefutably proven to be connected to the Muslim Brotherhood. Now, the Muslim Brotherhood has been already designated in several countries around the world, including Middle Eastern countries, and they should know as a terrorist organization, as a front group up to and including Hamas, which we know as a designated terrorist group itself. Now, the Muslim Brotherhood was founded in 1928 as an Islamic revival organization, and its goal is to implement a caliphate, a Sharia-based form of government around the whole world. They’re not shy about saying so, and we’re not immune to it, which brings us to where we are today. We’ve been continuing to track this group and other ones that are part of the Muslim Brotherhood. And I have to say with great distress that if anything, they’re more woven into the fabric of different branches of our government today, 2019 October than they were when I was still active duty within DHS. And yeah, that does seem like a bold statement. It seems like it ought to be impossible, but I think that’s what we’re going to go over today....

Hmmm.  Deep State actors were certainly upset over Haney's revelation.  But so was the Muslim Brotherhood, an offshoot of Hamas.  So was CAIR.  So there are plenty of people who have guns AND who intensely dislike this guy.

Side-note:  does Trump know about CAIR's influence inside the FedGov?

An Anniversary You May Have Missed

Yah, we missed this anniversary, too.  It was yesterday.

Tomorrow, 21st Feb, is #RedBooksDay, an event where the text of "Manifest der Kommunistischen Partei" (#CommunistManifesto), one of the most widely-read books of our time, published that day 172-yrs-ago by #KarlMarx & #FriedrichEngels, will be read all over the world.
Damn.  I wonder if Owen has a copy.

Like that red highlighting?  Clever, no?

The Holy FEEBS and DOJ

Schlichter's columns are always a rollicking good time.  In this one, he makes very clear his opinion of the FEEBS and the Department of Injustice.

And just for fun, he mentions a few Golden Oldies.

Who was the guy who went to jail for scores of wrongful convictions thanks to the FBI crime lab scandal?

Who is the guy who went to jail for lying about leaking stuff to hurt the Trump administration?

Who is the guy (or Chardonnay-swilling, cankle-having gal) who went to jail for using classified materials for his/her own personal agendas?

Nobody.

There's a great deal to despise in the Department of "Justice" (and the Fed "judiciary-clownshow" too.)

Think they'll resign before the SHTF??

Tony Evers' Besties Demand Male Teachers Use Girls' Bathrooms

Frankly, I had to read the article because I didn't really believe the headline.

But yes, Tokin'Tony's Teachers' Union actually did this.

...On Tuesday, Madison Teachers Inc. (MTI) fired out a press release asserting it supports equal restroom access for MMSD students and staff. The union doesn’t like the district’s directive to Frank Allis Elementary school staff to “limit their use of restroom facilities to the single person restroom.”

The union’s Equity and Diversity Committee, as well as MTI’s board of directors, released a statement saying that they “stand with Vica Steel and all our transgender, gender non-binary, lesbian, gay, bisexual, queer or questioning, intersex, and asexual or allied (LGBTQIA) staff.”

Steel is a transgender science teacher at Frank Allis. In a letter published in Our Lives Magazine last month, Steel claims that she used the women’s/girls’ bathroom across from her classroom beginning in January after coming out last March. The district received a complaint and asked the elementary school’s principal to come up with a policy barring staff from using the same bathrooms as students...
Somewhere along the line--and it damn well better be SOON--this "tranny" crap has to be stopped.  Maybe by re-opening insane asylums and to Hell with the ACLU.

MIT Security Gurus: Only Paper Ballots Are Secure

Gee, I'm shocked!

In recent years, there has been a growing interest in using internet and mobile technology to increase access to the voting process. At the same time, computer security experts caution that paper ballots are the only secure means of voting....

These are MIT guys.  But since the Democrat Party knows how to do vote-fraud (they've practiced for decades), you'll find all sorts of ballyhoo and hoorah about TechnoGeekVoting wonders.

...MIT researchers are raising another concern: They say they have uncovered security vulnerabilities in a mobile voting application that was used during the 2018 midterm elections in West Virginia. Their security analysis of the application, called Voatz, pinpoints a number of weaknesses, including the opportunity for hackers to alter, stop, or expose how an individual user has voted. Additionally, the researchers found that Voatz’s use of a third-party vendor for voter identification and verification poses potential privacy issues for users....
A few days ago, the local rag yammered on about a Microsoft technology for voting.  It's a Shiny Object, but completely un-necessary--except for the clerks who are inconvenienced by paper ballot counting.

You choose:  vote security?  Or Shiny Object Squirrels??

Coronovirus Is a Communist Bioweapon

There is no such thing as co-incidence.  Remember, MiniMike admires the ChiComs.  Maybe someone should ask him about this, eh?

“China has all but admitted that the epidemic began when the virus escaped from the Institute of Virology in Wuhan, China,” [Dr. Stephen] Mosher says, “and we have the evidence.

“On February 14, China’s President for Life, Xi Jinping
, hosted a political meeting called to address the means of stopping the epidemic and setting up a system to prevent similar outbreaks in the future. ‘In order to protect people’s health,’ Xi reportedly said, biosafety should be ‘integrated into national security,’ biosecurity laws should be drafted, and a national system to control biosecurity risks should be set up.”

“The very next day,” Mosher says, “China’s Ministry of Science and Technology released a new document entitled ‘Guiding opinions on strengthening biosecurity management in microbiology labs that handle advanced viruses at the same level as the new coronavirus’.
But the horse had already left the barn, and thousands of Chinese--victims of Communism--are dead, with tens of thousands more seriously ill.  The disease has spread to North and South Korea, Japan, Iran, and the USA, and likely other countries who have yet to discover/report it.

This is the ideology of Bernie, AOC, and John Brennan at work.

CIA, DOJ, Stonewalling on Ciaramella

There are a lot of Feds who think that their s*** don't stink.

Judicial Watch (JW) announced on Friday they had “received letters from both the Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and the Department of Justice (DOJ) stating they will neither confirm nor deny the existence of emails and other communications related to CIA official Eric Ciaramella, who reportedly worked on Ukraine issues while on detail to both the Obama and Trump White Houses.”...
They're stonewalling because the little chimpanzee is a seditionist, a liar, and a fraud.

So are they, of course.

MiniMike Is VERY Fair to Female Employees

Mirengoff of PowerLine knows about MiniMike's "sex discrimination" claims.

They're hogwash.

The EEOC took on one particular claim and went to court with it.  Their case stunk up the place.

And these "persecuted" women (woman??) didn't do too badly in the money department, either.

See all of it at the link above.

Fed Blackrobes..........Be Warned

Another item quoted at Ace, this from American Thinker.

Short excerpt--just what counts:

...The FBI and Justice Department have done everything in their power to torment President Trump by pursuing process crimes against his associates, while allowing members of Hillary Clinton's campaign and President Obama's government not only to escape charges for creating an international spy ring to take down President Trump, but to do so while laughing about it on television. While we wait to see whether U.S. attorney John Durham and Attorney General Barr actually have the intestinal fortitude to help right the ship of justice, most of us have given up holding our breath. Patience may well move mountains, but abused patience turns to fury. And while the federal courts go out of their way to push back against President Trump by issuing nationwide injunctions against his legal orders and permitting malicious prosecutions against his allies in their courtrooms, they are also quickening the day of their own long delayed judgment...
Gorsuch is rumored to be on the Fantasy-Bandwagon, like Kennedy before him, regarding "gender" and Title IX.

For his sake, I hope those rumors are just that.

Tommy Barrett Should Order Up More Cops

Yah, this could be a very...........interesting..........summer in Milwaukee.

...If Sanders secures a plurality of delegates but loses the nomination on a second ballot, many moderate and progressive Democrats alike predict the national convention in Milwaukee would devolve into chaos.  --Politico, quoted at Ace
Maybe Tommy can come off the milk carton, get on his Amazon account, and order up about 200 extra cops, complete with tear gas, Kevlar, nightsticks, and ......ohhhh............about........three dozen armored cars.

Meantime, on the top of the sub-continental divide west of Milwaukee, we'll provide the sharpshooters to keep the rioting in Milwaukee.

You're welcome.

Eric Holder Shows Flop-Sweat

Apparently Paul Sperry is over the target.  Eric Holder, Obama's enforcer, is getting nervous.

Too bad.

But if I were Paul Sperry, I'd be watching my back very closely.

Tokin'Tony Will Veto Tax Cut

Tokin'Tony will veto a $250 million tax cut.

The cut is due to a $600++ million surplus projected for the current budget cycle.

Governor Tokin'Tony Evers issued a statement:

"The surplus belongs to the State, not you Deplorables.  So you won't get any of it.  Instead, it will go directly to schools to be wasted by my friends and allies."

Maybe Evers didn't really say that.

Russians Plan to Elect Trump Says MSM

According to the MSM, the Russians will re-elect Donald Trump as President of the US this coming November.

As a result, the Republican Party is discouraging "voting" because, frankly, Trump won't need the votes.

It is also rumored that Bernie Sanders (Communist--Vermont) will never again speak to Putin, who has double-crossed him and the Communist Party.

Fauxcahontas Loves More "Faux"!!

Lizzie Warren earned her "Fauxcahontas" title by lying about her own genealogy.

She must like that "lying" stuff.

Democratic 2020 candidate Sen. Elizabeth Warren came out Thursday against a proposed bill in Arizona that would limit girls’ sports to biological females....
Uh-huh.

Lying about heritage, genealogy, sex (not "gender" you idiots), pre-born humans, queer "marriage"........it's the Democratic Party Way!!

Think about that in November.

That "Mike Got Fired" Ad......

You've probably heard/seen it 56,449 times in the last 10 days.  Michael Douglas voices it, and talks about how Bloomberg got fired, just like lots of other people.

Then Bloomberg had an idea, and started building computers for the investment banks, yadayada.

Heartwarming.  The "real American go-getter entrepreneur" story.

There's something that Michael Douglas doesn't tell you, though.

When Bloomberg was canned from Saloman Brothers, he was given a $10 million payout.

TEN MILLION DOLLARS.  He earned it, and deserves it....but that sorta changes the color of that story, doesn't it?  It's not really "po' li'l Mike" any more, eh?

Announcement

This is important.

That is all.  Resume normal activity.

Lindsey vs. Your Internet Privacy

Well, yes, "internet privacy" is like "military intelligence."  Oxymoron.  OK.

But Little Lindsey, the Big Talk guy, has a Bloomberg-esque bill on internet regulation.

If Sen. Lindsey Graham gets his way, the federal government will launch another attack on online privacy. The South Carolina Republican will ask lawmakers to give Attorney General William Barr and the Department of Justice unchecked access to all of your messaging, file-sharing, and video-sharing tools....

Cute, eh?

But then Little Lindsey, bless his heart, goes the extra mile!  See, Little Lindsey, like all Congress-slime, doesn't want to be responsible for his action here.  So...........

...The commission’s “recommendations” would then go to the attorney general, who can approve or disapprove what are essentially new regulations. This means unelected officials would be granted vast power to regulate technology and invade our privacy....
....and Little Lindsey will be around to promise "REFORM!!!  REFORM!!" of the law when something goes wrong.  Which it will.

Little Lindsey knows how to keep his job.

MU Prof Gets National Drubbing by Ace

The professor, a "Julia Anzari", suggests that "The Elites" should really be choosing party nominees for President.

...Her idea seems to be that the current primary system, in which citizens actually vote, fails to always produce candidates acceptable to the elites. So she proposes a system where in citizens actually elect "delegates" -- drawn from the elite, of course -- who are merely "informed" by voter's choice, but who are the ones who ultimately decide on a candidate....
Following that precis, Ace beats the crap out of this stuffed shirt twit.

...We've seen this tactic again and again -- the elite attempts to insulate itself from actual democracy by instilling layers and layers of governments and representatives and bureaucracies, trying to put as many protective barriers and possible between the people's will and their own private selfish choices....
Well, maybe just self-install a "Council of 1,000" who will name and inaugurate the President.  The 1,000 will be drawn from the ranks of PolySci profs who meet only ONE criterion:  they are Totalitarian.

Much simpler than Anzari's idea.  After all, why bother with an "election" when the Anointed Ones know who really, really, really, should be the President.

Bush Dynasty Bombs Barr

Well, we now know that the Ultimate Establishment/Deep State players--the Bush family--is getting very, very, nervous about Trump and Barr.  They've sent one of their lackeys into the fray.

...The fundamental problem is that he does not believe in the central tenet of our system of government—that no person is above the law. In chilling terms, Barr’s own words make clear his long-held belief in the need for a virtually autocratic executive who is not constrained by countervailing powers within our government under the constitutional system of checks and balances.

Indeed, given our national faith and trust in a rule of law no one can subvert, it is not too strong to say that Bill Barr is un-American. And now, from his perch as attorney general, he is in the midst of a root-and-branch attack on the core principles that have guided our justice system, and especially our Department of Justice, since the 1970s....

While I'm not a fan of Barr, and while Barr does have an elevated affection for the Office of the President (not necessarily Donald Trump),  "un-American" is extremely strong language.

This "critique" is a side-slapper.  Moronic Humor Alert here:

....Far from emphasizing thorough, transparent, and evenhanded processes—like the investigations presided over by former Special Counsel Mueller and Inspector General of the Department of Justice Michael Horowitz—Barr has done whatever he can to suppress findings adverse to the president, and to endorse conclusions more favorable to Donald Trump....
Yah.  The "esteemed" Donald Ayer--loyal rump-kisser of the oligarchs--regards the Mueller Weissman hatchet job and the Horowitz Whitewash as 'thorough, evenhanded.'

So was Stalin's Cheka, Donald.

Anyhow--it's time to make sure the guns are clean and the ammo supply is sufficient.  It's no longer just the Deep State and Crazy Nancy's party:  the rest of the oligarchy is joining them.

The target is not Barr, nor Trump.

The target is YOU.

Jesuit-Educated. Hmmmmm.

Dwayne Wade was a Marquette University buckets star.

NBA basketball star Dwayne Wade told ABC’s “Good Morning America” on Tuesday that his 12-year-old son Zion, who considers himself a transgender girl and now goes by Zaya, has known since three years old that he was trans....

 Uh-huh.

Dwayne was educated by the Jesuits.  Any other questions??

Why a New Voting System??

Cute story here about the town of Fulton's primary day.

In brief, Microsoft is in search of more revenue dollars, so they're invading the voting business.

Oh, goodie.

...The process appeared seamless. After checking in, voters received a key card to insert into a tablet.

They then selected candidates on a touch screen. They printed the ballot and placed it in the ballot box.

They received a second printed piece of paper that provided a tracking code that they could use later to verify that their vote was counted, by logging into a Microsoft website.

The verification system does not allow the voter, or anyone else for that matter, to see who they voted for....
"Seamless" is supposed to make you feel really good about this.

Looks sorta complicated, yes?

Yup.  And this test featured a printer that actually worked!!

"Harry" has it right:

...Harry, a tad older at 73, wasn't impressed by the new voting technology.

"I thought it's too many steps," he said. "Why not mark the ballot and put it in the box? If this was a presidential election, we'd be waiting in a line out the door to vote."...
Nobody gives a s*** about your convenience, Harry.  Bill Gates needs the damn money, and elections clerks don't like working overtime to count ballots.  So STFU, Harry.

Want a Dictatorship? Choose MiniMike!!!

MiniMike is the kind of Statist dictator that Bernie doesn't have the guts to be.

As New York City mayor, Michael Bloomberg demanded that mothers breastfeed their babies and insisted hospitals keep baby formula under lock and key....

... The proposed ban on baby formula arrived soon after another one on sugary drinks in large containers to control obesity. In 2008, Bloomberg also banned trans-fats in city restaurants and demanded menus display calories contained in each food item....

His current project is to ban guns.

It's not co-incidence that he admires Communist dictatorships.  It's logical.

Jeb! Has Demands

Noted by Vox:

Former Florida Gov. Jeb Bush told a Presidents’ Day audience of investors and money managers that it’s time for a return to civility in the nation’s politics.
"Civility."  Uh-huh.

That translates as follows:

"The USA is just another country but has too much money, so we should spend a lot on undocumented residents."

"Endless wars are good for the economy--ask any of my pals at the club who have invested in war machinery manufacturers."

"What's wrong with Northam's abortion approach?"

"We don't ever refer to Democrats as 'seditionists,' 'slime-balls', 'dishonest,' or 'traitors.'  NEVER.  Only Conservatives deserve such names."

"Daddy taught us that all Government employees are honest, hardworking folks who are sacrificing their lives for a lousy salary and rotten benefits for the American people  There is not a hint of selfish power-lust or dishonesty in their bodies.  That's what I believe!!"

"What is sauerkraut?"

"You don't need a gun with 10 bullets."

"I miss my Mom."

One UW Campus That Should Close

We've mentioned that a few UW campuses should be closed because there will not be enough students to justify all the "colleges" that make up the UW system.  UW-Whitewater is taking the hit this year.  There will be more.

Here's a UW-system college whose behavior merits a closing in the next year or so.

The Alliance Defending Freedom says that a University of Wisconsin-River Falls policy violates its students’ First Amendment rights. In a letter sent to the university on Monday, the legal group calls on the school to revise its policies “to ensure that administrators do not prohibit students from speaking spontaneously in public outdoor areas.”

“UW-River Falls’ policies currently violate the First Amendment and our client’s rights,” states Alliance Defending Freedom (ADF) in a letter to the university.

The non-profit legal group is representing Sofie Salmon — who recruiting members for a Turning Point USA (TPUSA) student group last September — was told by a university official that she needed to obtain permission from the school in order to exercise her First Amendment rights on the public university grounds.

The school official added that the police would be called if the conservative student refused to do so....
No surprise that a UW official wants to stomp on Free (conservative) speech.  The question is "Why keep this barnacle open?"

Farmers and Machinists: "Stupid", Says MiniMike

Maybe adding Hillary will actually IMPROVE his chances.  She's smart enough to keep her trap shut now and then.

..."I could teach anybody, even the people in this room" to be a farmer, said Bloomberg during a 2016 talk at Oxford University in a now-viral clip in which he called agriculture a "process"

"You dig a hole, you put a seed in, you put dirt on top, add water, up comes the corn, he added....
Damn!!  That's AOC-level stupid, Mikie.

But he wasn't done yet.

..."You put the piece of metal in the lathe, you turn the crank in the direction of the arrow, and you can have a job," he continued....
On the other hand, there's genius that only MiniMike has:

...Mr. Bloomberg then said working in the information economy is “fundamentally different, because it’s built around replacing people with technology and the skill sets that you have to learn are how to think and analyze. And that is a whole degree level different. You have to have a different skill set, you have to have a lot more gray matter,” he said....
One wonders if MiniMike ever designed tools and dies or ever hedged futures.

Nah.

Titania McGrath Unchained!!

Turns out that Titania McGrath does live shows.

Brush up on your British before you watch.

Intrinsically Disordered and Single

Mayor Pete has two problems:  he has the intrinsic disorder of homosexual inclination, and he is single regardless of his "thought" on the matter, because there is no such thing as "homosexual marriage" in the real world--the one governed by nature and nature's God.

Limbaugh was doing him a very large favor by trying to tell him that his campaign will not end well.

But Mayor Poofter doesn't take advice well at all, does he?

How About Less Taxes, Wisconsin??

Since the State of Wisconsin expects $800+ MILLION in excess tax-take this year, the Assembly Republicans think State taxpayers should pay less in taxes.

By law, one-half of the money $400++ million) goes into Wisconsin's 'Rainy Day' fund, bringing that to over $1 Billion in reserves.

The rest??

...Assembly Republicans’ plan includes $214.5 million in individual income tax relief, $44.7 million in new exemptions for personal property, and an additional $100 million debt service payment. These changes would all apply to taxes in 2020.

The income tax cut will occur through increasing standard deductions. The deduction for “married joint” filers will go from $20,470 to $23,170 (for incomes under $144,670), for “individual” filers from $11,050 to $12,510 (for incomes under $120,361), for “head-of-household” filers from $14,280 to $16,170 (for incomes less than $54,504) and for “married separate” filers from $9,720 to $11,000 (for incomes less than $68,684). The average filer would see a $105 reduction in their income taxes for 2020, and $300 when combined with other tax cuts in the current budget....
Paying off $100 million in debt is a nice touch.

Can't wait for Tokin'Tony Maggie Gau to veto this.

1,000 Brat Girls Screech at Adult in the Room

Apparently being an ex-employee of the Department of In-justice is like being a 13-year-old brat.

More than 1,100 ex-employees of the Department of Justice signed a letter calling on Attorney General William Barr to resign Sunday...

You get one guess why....

..."Although there are times when political leadership appropriately weighs in on individual prosecutions, it is unheard of for the Department’s top leaders to overrule line prosecutors, who are following established policies, in order to give preferential treatment to a close associate of the President, as Attorney General Barr did in the Stone case,"...
The last graf of the letter is here:

"We HATE YOU!!!  And we're slamming our door!!!!"
I might have made that part up.

Related, and the 'splanation:

It is axiomatic that Democrats and their controlled media will always telegraph whom they fear the most by their concerted vitriolic attacks on that individual.

...the Democrats aren’t worried about the Roger Stone case; that’s just a wedge issue to discredit AG Barr and beat the drum that the DoJ has become highly politicized in the Age of Trump. (Never mind that former AG Eric Holder blatantly declared he was “Obama’s wingman.”) Their goal is to discredit the ongoing criminal investigation by John Durham and the DoJ review of Ukraine-related evidence by the US attorney in Pittsburgh by claiming that these are just an extension of President Trump’s “political vendetta” against his enemies. And what has given the Democrats even tighter sphincters is AG Barr’s decision to move politically-charged cases outside of Washington, DC, to get away from the corrupted system there that the Democrats have rigged for years to avoid justice. And that includes the initiation of an external review of the Michael Flynn case by prosecutors in St. Louis. The Washington DC US attorney’s office is the largest in the country with over 300 lawyers; one of its key focuses is the prosecution of politically sensitive cases. One need only compare the outcomes of the Greg Craig and Roger Stone cases to identify the polar extremes in how that corrupt system works on behalf of politically connected Democrats versus Trump allies. And the Democrats know it because they set it all up....
Here I thought they were just a bunch of 13-year-old girls.  Huh.  Turns out they're Democrats!

Downsides to Amazon Exhortation? Of Course!!

Oh, yes, there are 'downsides' to the Amazon document issued by Pp. Francis.

And--as you'll see--Pp. Francis may have read Trump's book on negotiating.

David Martin comments:

...Specifically, the pope in his exhortation:
  • Advocates an "inculturated liturgy" that incorporates Amazonian dance and rituals, and introduces the idea of establishing an Amazonian liturgical rite.
  • Recommends granting lay people formal authority over Amazonian parishes, and mentions their ability to "celebrate certain sacraments" (excluding the Eucharist and Confession).
  • Says women should be given formal positions in the faith community as a result of a "commission from the bishop."
  • Endorses the Amoris Laetitia approach of allowing Communion to those living in adultery, saying there is no "room … for a [traditional] discipline that excludes and turns people away."
  • Defends idol worship as witnessed with the veneration of Pachamama at the Synod, saying that it is not superstition.
Concerning idols, Francis says that we “should esteem the indigenous mysticism that sees the interconnection and interdependence of the whole of creation, the mysticism of gratuitousness that loves life as a gift,” as well as the “sacred wonder before nature.” ...
The language used is typically Francis-esque:  vague, thus open to "interpretation".   By the way, as to lay people's ability to 'celebrate certain sacraments,' why is that plural?  Aside from Baptism, there is no Sacrament which does NOT require a priest, deacon, or Bishop.

Trump-ian?  You be the judge.

...While the exhortation doesn't explicitly support the idea of ordaining married men to the priesthood as some had anticipated, it appears that this was never a key part of the plan to begin with. The ploy was to initially scare conservatives with this proposal with the plan of easing up on it at the last minute in order to pacify the faithful and better gain their confidence in Francis' environmental program....
Ah, yes, the "environmental program."  How being a Good Steward includes eliminating CO2 emissions is beyond me--and beyond any reputable forestry scientist.  And having Jeffrey Sachs lecturing on matters of population........well.........

Mr. Martin fears that Actual Catholics will be seduced by Francis' 3-card monte negotiations.  Not likely, friend.

Barr's Job: Prevent Utter Collapse

In line with the post below, Sundance has a few comments.

The corruption in the Department of InJustice (and the FEEBS) is so deep and so serious that Barr faces a choice:  if he looses the dogs of war and prosecutes all the offenders, the whole damn thing comes down.  OR he can do the shimmy-shimmy-shake on some matters and keep DOJ and the FEEBS running, at least temporarily.

Here's the part of Sundance's column that's relevant:

...In essence, regardless of Bill Barr’s outlook or opinion of what took place, he had no alternative except to defend the previous decisions.  As a result Barr has no option except to protect Rod Rosenstein.

If former Deputy FBI Director Andrew McCabe was ever to be prosecuted the same issues that surfaced with James Wolfe would surface again.  The actions by DAG Rosenstein in 2017 merged with the objectives of Andrew McCabe at the same time. {SEE HERE}

It can be debated whether Rosenstein collaborated with McCabe purposefully, or whether he was blind to the prior year corrupt activity within the DOJ/FBI and fell into a trap.  It doesn’t really matter what Rosenstein’s 2017 motives were; the facts show Rosensteins’ actions facilitated the goals of McCabe and the corrupt actors within the DOJ/FBI.

Those actions had consequences, very serious consequences, and those consequences are what matters.

There is no way of prosecuting Andrew McCabe without putting Rod Rosenstein into the same crosshairs of consequence. {Go Deep} Rosenstein facilitated the FBI operations being run by Comey, McCabe, Baker, Strzok, Page, Clinesmith, Pientka and eventually culminating in Robert Mueller, Andrew Weissman et al.

When you truly understand this context you also understand why Joseph Pientka III has a blanket protective order over him.  The all-encompassing protective order is as much about preserving and protecting the institution of the DOJ as it is protecting the fulcrum of corrupt activity Supervisory Special Agent One, Joseph Pientka III, represents.

The DOJ had to throw a bag over Pientka or eliminate him.  Thankfully, and not surprisingly, they chose the former and now he’s under protection....
Seth Richards was eliminated.  If I were Joe Pientka, I'd have 24X7 bodyguards.

Go ahead.  Hit all the links in the Sundance post (and read all of it.)  Prove him wrong.

Who Killed the McCabe Prosecution?

Andy McCarthy has a few things to say about the Two Kinds of Justice problem surrounding the McCabe prosecution.

There's no doubt in his mind that McCabe is guilty as Hell.  And there's no doubt in his mind that Papadopolous and Flynn were both screwed blue and tattooed for lesser offenses than McCabe's.

So yah, there are Two Kinds of Justice.

How did the Department of "Justice" screw up the case?  Well, here's an interesting part of the essay:

...We may never get a satisfying explanation for the Justice Department’s decision to drop the McCabe probe. That’s the way it is when such complicated reasons and motives are at play.

The aforementioned challenge of hostile witnesses is not to be underestimated. In addition, there are growing indications that the Justice Department had lost confidence in the U.S. attorney who was overseeing the probe, Jesse Liu....

There have been rumblings that the McCabe investigation was botched. Kamil Shields, a prosecutor who reportedly grew frustrated by her supervisors’ inordinate delays in making decisions about the McCabe probe, ultimately left the Justice Department to take a private-practice job. Another prosecutor, David Kent, quit last summer as DOJ dithered over the decision on whether to prosecute.... Reportedly, Liu advocated charging McCabe, but the DOJ may have harbored doubts about her judgment.
In other words, Liu dragged out the case to make effective prosecution impossible.

No matter the outcome, the Justice Department stood to take some hits if McCabe had been charged. Focus on McCabe’s leak would have drawn attention to pressure DOJ officials had put on the Bureau over the Clinton Foundation investigation (which, reportedly, is likely to be closed without charges). It would also renew interest in the question of whether the FBI improperly allowed McCabe to play a role in Clinton-related investigations when his wife, as a political candidate, got major funding from Clinton-tied sources.

Moreover, new Freedom of Information Act disclosures — made to meet a deadline set by District Judge Reggie Walton, which may explain the timing of the non-prosecution announcement — indicate that the Justice Department and FBI did not comply with regulations in what appears to be the rushed termination of McCabe, adding heft to the former deputy director’s claim that he was being singled out for abusive treatment, potentially including prosecution, because of vengeful politics....
Think that the FEEBS and In-Justice conspired to screw up McCabe's termination?  Why not?  Just another nail in the coffin of "equal justice"--so they went for it.

And finally:  there is no way in Hell that a D.C.-area jury will be impartial.  Roger Stone's case is one proof, and hardly the only one.  Were the case to be tried in Omaha, Oklahoma, or Green Bay--real America--things would be different.

McCarthy is very hard on Trump's tweeting, by the way, for good reason.

"Republican Party Has TOO MANY LAWYERS"

Thus spake Steve Bannon, illuminating the entire continent with that brilliant statement.

Ever work in a place with too many lawyers advising them?

Right.

Nothing ever gets done.  The place goes girly-girl.  Oh, lawyers minimize risk.  But in the end, the lawyers also minimize reward--except for themselves, of course.

TOO MANY LAWYERS may be the disease that finally kills the USA.

Bloomie + Hildebeeste? Please, Please, Please!!

While driving today, I heard an episode of "Wait, Wait, Don't Tell Me", an NPR-syndicated show out of Chicago.  The show is usually funny (this one was) and entertaining (ditto.)  Noteworthy:  the show's host and a guest both took haymaker-sized whacks at MiniMike Bloomberg.  Trump was smacked only once.

I thought that was significant.  Then I read this piece of analysis:

...The substantial share of the Democrat base that is hard left will never turnout and vote for him. With supporters of Bernie Sanders already convinced (with evidence) that the 2016 nomination was stolen from him, the chances are nil that they will vote in large numbers for the man who has bought support from some of their party leaders. Instead, there is a decent chance that they will either stay home or support a splinter or small party radical leftist candidate....
Yah, well, wait until that Mike and Hillary ticket gets punched!!  It will be a LOT of fun to watch the Bernie Boyzzz burn down Democrat offices coast-to-coast.

Who else thinks that will happen?  Donald Trump.

...If a guy came in and bought the election, if they bought the Democratic nomination, I really think you'd have a revolution within the Democrat Party. You had a mini-revolution last time, right, but you would have a real — because they took it away from him the last time, or at least it was perceived....
If nothing else, it will be clear as daylight to ALL of the country that the Party of Monied Interests is, without a doubt, the Democrat Party.

Populists, arise!  You have nothing to lose but your country!!

A Mystery To Your Grandchildren

The lyrics to this Beach Boys hit will be a complete mystery to your grandchildren, even though the lyrics are right there on the screen in plain English.

Sad.

The McCabe Precedent

Sure, McCabe admitted that he lied to the FBI.

And sure, there was some sort of feeble-assed Department of Justice-for-Some grinding about the case.

And sure enough, McCabe--a certified Deep State snake--will not be prosecuted for the crime he admitted doing.

So what's the good news?

From here on, lying to the FEEBS will be very, very, very difficult to prosecute.

So yah--f*** the FEEBS and the lying lawyer-traitors at the Department of Justice-for-Some.

And buy more ammo.

Drug Companies Outsourced YOUR Health to China

The Global Elite Class has placed your health (and that of your children) in the tender hands of Communist China.  The deals were probably signed at Davos over champagne and canapes, and--given what we know about the Clintons and China--the Clintons probably took a commission.

The coronavirus outbreak has exposed the United States’ dangerous dependence on China for pharmaceutical and medical supplies, including an estimated 97 percent of all antibiotics and 80 percent of the active pharmaceutical ingredients needed to produce drugs in the United States....
So yah, you don't have to get the coronavirus to die from it.

Side question:  how many FDA inspectors are working in China?  India??

The FBI Is Deep Stench

Yah, it gets even more.......rotten.  And it's not in Denmark.

A month before the 2016 presidential election, the FBI met Christopher Steele in Rome and apparently unlawfully shared with the foreign opposition researcher some of the bureau’s most closely held secrets, according to unpublicized disclosures in the recent Justice Department Inspector General report on abuses of federal surveillance powers.

What’s more, Steele, the former British spy who compiled the “dossier” of conspiracy theories for the Hillary Clinton campaign, was promised $15,000 to attend the briefing by FBI agents eager to maintain his cooperation in their Trump-Russia collusion investigation codenamed Crossfire Hurricane....

That information was buried deep, deep, deep, in the IG report.

Whose F****CKING MONEY WAS THAT, Comey, you jackass???

Doing Nothing May Be Best

The Catholic Intertubes have been more than overloaded with opinions about "What To Do?" on Pope Francis.  Some think that the Cardinals must call an 'imperfect council' and depose Francis from the Papacy.  Others agree--sort of--by declaring that B-16 is still the Pope, thus Francis is an anti-Pope and should be tossed out of the Vatican.

A few Cardinals--including Wisconsin's very own Cdl. Burke--have openly questioned one of Francis' documents, but notably have NOT called for his removal, nor voiced an opinion about the status of B-16.

So this is interesting.

...One might reasonably argue, however, that Bergoglio has already attacked the foundations of the Church with his outrageous authorization of Holy Communion for public adulterers in “more complex cases.” Or his absurd “development” of the Church’s teaching on capital punishment, declaring “inadmissible because it is an attack on the inviolability and dignity of the person” what the Church has approved for 2,000 years, based on divine revelation, precisely as a defense of the inviolability and dignity of the person.

Here, however, we encounter the question whether the Holy Ghost has allowed the Church to be afflicted for a time by a de facto antipope whose election cannot be contested and whose papacy must be presumed valid until such time as a successor Pope or Council declares otherwise. On that vexed issue, in my view, we can have nothing definitive to say, meaning nothing by which the Church as a whole could gain operative certitude and proceed accordingly. What is certain, however, is that this Pope must be opposed in his efforts to undermine the Faith....
Christopher Ferrara is obviously not a fan of Francis.

The situation worldwide is similar to the situation in Milwaukee when Rembert Weakland was appointed Archbishop here:  the Holy Ghost allowed this Church to be afflicted for a time.  There was some good that came from that affliction--a lot of Catholics had to go back to the books on doctrine, dogma, and praxis, meaning that they had to REALLY learn the Faith.  The same applies here.

So, as Ferrara implies, sometimes the best thing to do is nothing at all, except pray as though everything depended on God.  After all, it does!

The Curious Case of Imran Awan

The Paki national mentioned in the title is suing a reporter from the Daily Caller AND Regnery for 'defamation,'

Discovery in this lawsuit will open another picture-window to the Establishment and its faithful dog, the Deep State.

A couple of samples.....

...As Ryan Saavedra of the Daily Wire reported in December, the Department of Justice said it could not release records on Imran Awan due to “technical difficulties,” but later admitted in court documents that it could not release the records “because there is a secret ongoing case related to the matter.” The DOJ also failed to produce Capitol Police records requested in a Judicial Watch lawsuit, on the grounds of “technical difficulties.”

Also in play was a “sealed criminal matter” and the government declined to reveal the information “pursuant to an order issued by the Honorable Tanya S. Chutkan.” She is the POTUS 44 appointee who postponed Awan’s case six times then cut him a sweetheart deal in 2018.

The Pakistani-born Awan came to the USA through the immigration lottery system. He earned an IT degree from Johns Hopkins but did not work for any of the six IT firms officially vetted for congressional offices. Even so, DNC boss Debbie Wasserman Schultz not only brought Awan aboard but hired his wife and other family members, though none had degrees in information technology....
Far be it from anyone to suggest that Wasserman-Schultz was compromised, resulting in this very strange group of hires.

Further into the narrative, we see this:

...The Awans appeared to be thieves, Horowitz wrote, “but it was likely they were something more.” One of the recovered items was a laptop bearing the initials of Rep. Debbie Wasserman Schultz, and Awan, who did not qualify for a security clearance, knew the password to the iPad used by Schultz for Democratic National Committee business. Awan was fired by every House member except Wasserman Schultz, and Capitol Police failed to search the Awans’ homes or arrest Imran Awan....
There are a lot of people in D.C. who seem to 'think' that US national security is irrelevant, or a dead letter.

Out here in flyover country, we don't agree.

Overdrawing Domestic Security: the Big Banks

It's always been the case that Big Banks ran their own foreign policy, lending to various dictators and slimebuckets around the world and in the US.

But since FDR, the FedGov put its FDIC 'seal of approval' on them.  What's to worry about?

...Executives for Wells Fargo, JP Morgan, Bank of America, BNP Paribas, Barclays, and SunTrust have said they will no longer provide depository services to federal contractors with ICE for no other reason than their opposition to national immigration law. These six banks alone control over $7 trillion in combined assets....
Perhaps that "FDIC seal of approval" will go away for them.

...Under Rubio’s legislation — which Senators Tom Cotton (R-AR), Marsha Blackburn (R-TN), and Kevin Cramer (R-ND) are co-sponsoring — big banks with assets over $50 billion would have their Federal Deposit Insurance Corporation (FDIC) insurance removed if they refuse to provide services to federal contractors.

“Some of our nation’s largest banks have decided to cater to the radical left’s ‘woke’ agenda by abusing their systemic influence in our economy to deprive law-abiding federal contractors of banking services critical to their business,” Rubio told Breitbart News in a statement. “Banks have a right to deny funds to certain businesses, but they shouldn’t enjoy taxpayer-provided guarantees if they are undermining the public policy of the United States.”...
The proposed legislation is merely a warning shot.  Banks control plenty of Senators and Representatives (remember Chris Dodd?) so there's little chance that the banks will take a hit here.
