CIA Getting Nervous About Spying on Trump

To the surprise of NOBODY, the CIA is now pushing the narrative that 'the President and his A.G. are pushing/jostling foreign leaders (Italy, Australia, England) for information on the CIA op run against Trump during his campaign--and afterwards.  Naturally, it was run as "real news" by Channel 6, whose newsroom staff is left of Hillary.

(By the way, the Aussies flatly state that the NYT/CIA is lying about 'pressure.' Shocking, I know.)

The NERVE of those guys Trump and Barr, looking for the criminal conspirators here in the US and for their accomplices in other countries.

WHO DO THEY THINK THEY ARE?????

After all, it's just fine and dandy for the CIA and FBI to spy on political candidates, particularly if they don't like those dirtball populist America First Wal-Mart shoppers who smell funny and who voted for that bastard.

I can't wait for that civil war to start.

Another Fake "Hate Crime"

Saw this story last week and didn't believe it at the time.

I was right.

Amari Allen, a sixth grader, said she was ” assaulted” last Monday during recess on the playground at her school, Immanuel Christian School in Springfield, Va.

“They put me on the ground,” Amari told the New York Times on Friday in a phone interview. “One of them put my hands behind my back. One put his hands over my mouth. One cut my hair. They were saying that my hair was ugly, that it was nappy.”

But The Washington Post reported on Monday that the girl has now recanted her story.
“The sixth-grade girl at a private Virginia school who accused three classmates last week of forcibly cutting her hair now says the allegations were false, according to statements from the girl’s family and the principal at Immanuel Christian School in Springfield....
Well, she got the attention she wanted.  Kinda like Adam Schiff, ya'know?

And the Press?  They've earned even more distrust.  Is it possible to sink below 0 on a 100-point scale?

"Trump's Dump"? No. Pelosi/Ryan's Dump

Paul Ryan, in combination with Nancy Pelosi, staved off any genuine immigration reform for years and years and years.  Ryan was........ahh.........influenced........by the Chamber of Commerce.  Pelosi just wants to flood the country with new (D) voters, and don't kid yourself--they vote, legally or not.

So the Press blames the problems on Trump, of course.  Nothing blatantly inaccurate or biased here.  Move along.

At $1.00/month, you'll overpay for access to the newspaper.  Fair warning!

Civil War? Gnat Is "Repulsed."

Trump--correctly--predicts a civil war if WackyNancy and Schiff (and the rest of the Establishment) get their way.

The gnat from Illinois is "repulsed."

Well...he repulses a lot of folks (see the map at this post).

I hope that Billy Kristol and Charlie Sykes have the spare cash needed to re-elect this jackwad.

Zmirak's Problem with English Definitions

John Zmirak, on occasion, is an inspiring rightist author.

And on other occasions, he has trouble with the English language.

Zmirak likes to piss all over 'integralists' because.......something or other.  Maybe being a Libertarian wannabee--which is what he thinks the Constitution is all about.

We'll repeat, for Johnny's edification:

The simple definition of "integralism" is that laws should reflect a moral order.
Frankly, Zmirak is not only deficient in English.  He's also shockingly deficient in "Founders 101."  He can choose to forget all about ".....the laws of Nature and Nature's God...." but genuine Conservatives do NOT forget that phrase, nor that it underlies the thinking of the Framers.

OK, Johnny?   You want to compare that to being a Muslim, go ahead.  It's about your level of sophistication.

The Fabulous (Selectively) Forgiving Pp. Francis!!

News item from across the pond:

Pope Francis made a phone call to a leading gay theologian and priest who was suspended from active ministry in part over his LGBTQ-affirming work, and gave the theologian “the power of the keys,” a phrase indicating his restoration to active priesthood.

Francis placed the call two years ago to Fr. James Alison who only yesterday shared in The Tablet his account of the experience, which was first reported about anonymously in Frédéric Martel’s In the Closet of the Vatican published earlier this year. ...

Francis is certainly a forgiving sorta guy; apparently Alison is not "rigid" and is obviously not an American who associates with Evangelicals.  So he can be forgiven, no sweat!!

But since the above news story came from the official Queer Advocacy Bunch in the US, a look at Wiki proves interesting.

...Alison was a member of the Dominican order – his master's degree is a Dominican lectorate – from 1981 to 1995. In 1996, he wrote to the Congregation for the Doctrine of the Faith telling them that he believed his vows to be null as they were based on his previously, but no longer, held belief that sexual activity between members of the same sex sinful.[2] He offered to let them issue a decree saying his ordination was null, but they declined, saying it was valid.[2] Instead, the Congregation asked him to seek laicisation, but Alison declined believing that he would have to lie on the paperwork.[2]

More than 10 years later, a superior in the Dominican Order asked if Alison would object to his processing paperwork dismissing Alison from the Order.[2] Alison said he did not mind the paperwork, but would not participate as he believed he was never truly a member anyway.[2] He eventually received a letter stating that he was a priest in good standing, not currently incardinated but available to be incardinated if a bishop wished to have him.[2]
While living in Brazil, the local bishop asked for Alison's consent to be defrocked.[2] Alison declined, but instead offered to be incardinated into the diocese.[2] The bishop declined that offer.[2] The bishop then began a process of defrocking without Alison's consent.[2] A year later, a letter from the Congregation for the Clergy arrived announcing that Alison had been defrocked, forbidding him from teaching, preaching, or presiding over any sacraments.[2].....

Let's clarify the above a bit. Alison was exclaustrated--thrown out--of the Dominican Order, but remained an ordained priest, without an assignment.  Note well that the Dominicans acquired a reputation for accepting and ordaining homosexuals during the 1980's and hasn't done much to change thatWhy do you think that Fr. Fiore (RIP) bailed out of that bunch?

Apparently Alison moved back to Brazil, where he had obtained his Ph.D. from a Jesuit university.  Perhaps he missed his old friends at the university, eh?

Now comes the part which .....ummmhhh.......discerning Catholics will understand. The local Ordinary in Brazil "defrocked" Alison involuntarily. This action is not taken because the Bishop doesn't like Alison's taste in neckties, nor his wackdoodle "theology" (albeit there's little doubt that the "theology" was a part of this.)

Nope. The Bishop probably acted based on good old-fashioned "scandal." and you can take a hint from two passages above: Alison believes that 'same-sex activity is licit' and that 'his vows (which include chastity) are null.'  Now go ahead and add 2+2.

Being a sinner, I love the fact that sins can be forgiven. But having spent plenty of time in "the box," I also know that forgiveness requires "a firm purpose of amendment"--that is, that the sinner will try to sin no more.

I suppose +Francis obtained such a promise from Alison.

Right?

One more thing:  while Pp. Francis un-did the 'defrocking', he apparently limited Alison's activity to hearing Confessions ONLY.  ("Power of the keys" = 'forgive/retain.')  No preaching, no public Masses.  Some question as to whether he can "teach" as a Catholic--but not in my mind.

So.  New Ways writes a story which is much less than they'd like to convey, yet revealing of Pp. Francis' rather selective "mercy"--which makes it a big story.

Confused?  Then you're a discerning Catholic!!

Libertarian + Christian? Good Luck With That!

Probably a very nice lady.  But she has a problem.  She is establishing a "Christian caucus" inside the Libertarian Party.  Then a reporter asked her about platform matters.

THE STREAM: What is your platform now, how was it specifically Christian and Libertarian?

HELEN GILSON: Well, I wouldn’t call it a platform yet. But we are going to be working on platform issues by convention, and meeting at convention to develop a specific platform. We are still aligned with the Libertarian Party and the platform they have. But we will hopefully have influence in the direction the party goes in the future.

THE STREAM: What would your position be on specifically social issues? As I understand it, the Libertarian Party is loath to over-legislate. But there are issues like abortion, marriage and drugs and so on. Do you have a position on those in particular?

HELEN GILSON: I personally do, but as I said, we haven’t developed a platform. A better way to think about it at this point is our mission statement. Our mission statement is to help the Libertarian Party see Christ in Christians, and to help Christians see the Libertarian Party through the eyes of Jesus....
Do you hear a non-response?  I do.

Well, then.  The Libertarian Party is known for its non-opposition to such things as abortion, gay "marriage," and other conduct which actual Christians decry as "immoral."

One suspects that this lady and her friends will be spending a long, long, time trying to square those circles.

8 Shootings, 2 Dead, ZERO AR's!

Yesterday's totals in Milwaukee:  eight shootings, two deaths,

Zero AR rifles used.

Open Records for Hillary, Kerry, Obozo Calls, Too!!

This is the next laugher from Schiff.

Congress is determined to get access to Donald Trump’s calls with Russian President Vladimir Putin and other world leaders, the U.S. House Intelligence Committee’s chairman said on Sunday, citing concerns that the Republican president may have jeopardized national security...

Well, then, Inquiring Minds want to know the unredacted content of all the phone calls made by Obozo, Hildebeeste, and John F'n Kerry to foreign "leaders".

Seems fair to me.

Schiff Plays "Hide-the-Weenie" on America

This little move will damage the Democrats' current jihad-on-Trump gambit.

[Schiff] said House lawmakers had settled an agreement with the whistleblower’s lawyers to ensure that there are precautions to protect his or her identity during the testimony.

“That whistleblower will be allowed to come in without White House or DOJ lawyers to tell him or her what they can or can’t say,” Schiff said, comparing the situation to acting Director of National Intelligence Joseph Mcguire’s testimony on the issue Thursday. “We are taking all the precautions we can to protect the whistleblower’s identity.”...
This is not for purposes of "security."  The leaking spy "whistleblower" is in no physical danger.  What it IS for?

It IS for the purpose of managing and manipulating the "testimony."  Schiff will tell the press what to print and report; the press will rise from its knees, wipe the dribble from their collective chins, and transcribe Schiff's words.

Doh.

But Joe and Sue Mainstreet are not that stupid, and the more Schiff & Co. attempt to hide the weenie, the more actual voters will demand to SEE that weenie, and make their own judgment.

Keep it up, Adam!!!

Hillary Warren? Elizabeth Clinton? Same Old.....

There were rumors that Fauxcahontas Warren was making goo-goo eyes at Big Capital a couple of weeks ago.  That would jibe with her slow transformation into Hillary and with this report:

Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-MA), a top candidate for the 2020 Democrat presidential nomination, says amnesty for every illegal alien living in the United States is “good for” American workers who will be forced to compete against newly legalized low-skilled foreign workers....
How much did the Koch/Libertarians and Ryan Chamber-of-Commerce promise her?

And what was that number again??

...During a town hall with the United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) union in Madison Heights, Michigan, Warren said she will give amnesty to all 12 to 22 million illegal aliens living in the country,...
Why UFCW?  Because a big, big, chunk of those 22 million illegals work in food processing plants.  Think Tyson, Swift, IBP, Hormel.....and UFCW would love to have dues from a few million more bodies.

Naturally, the minute these poor bastards join UFCW and pay dues, the union brass' interest in them drops to zero.  Ask grocery workers how much UFCW has done for them lately.

Go ahead, ask.

Read the Map, Nancy

The map-maker here understands that Schiff and Nadler cannot read complicated stuff, so they reduced it to two colors and very small  words.

NancyPlan: Impeach before December

We all know that the House will vote to impeach the President, probably before 12/1, and maybe in very early November.\

It's a foregone conclusion.  Of course, the "articles" will not stand up to any scrutiny, but that is not important.  What's important are the optics.

Sundance actually saw this setup coming in December, with certain rule-changes shoved through by Nancy.

A formal vote to initiate an “impeachment inquiry” is not technically required; however, there has always been a full house vote until now.  The reason not to have a House vote is simple: if the formal process was followed the minority (republicans) would have enforceable rights within it.  Without a vote to initiate, the articles of impeachment can be drawn up without any participation by the minority; and without any input from the executive.  This was always the plan that was visible in Pelosi’s changed House rules....

You do understand that this means the whistleblower leaker-traitor will NOT have to appear until the Senate conducts a trial--if that ever actually happens.

Oh, Goodie!! +Tobin to "Re-Think Sexuality"

We are apparently not fully informed about "sexuality" yet.  How else can one read this statement from Cdl. Tobin?

...In a causal [sic] question-answer format, Malone asked Tobin about Pope Francis, deaconesses, the clergy sex abuse crisis, the Trump administration and current polarization among Catholics.

"A rethinking of the mystery of human sexuality is important, is incumbent. It is not going to be done in a weekend," said Tobin as he rubbed his nose while thinking of his next words: "We have to be able to ask questions of each other as we go forward, and listen."...
We can help you, Eminence!!  Follow this carefully:

...Male and female created he them; and blessed them,  (Genesis 5:2)...

Note well:  there are two sexes.  Not more, not less.  Two.  (We know all about language-manipulation and its preferred smoke-and-mirror "gender."  Fuggedabout pushing that crap, Eminence).

And what are those two sexes to do?

God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful and multiply, and fill the earth and subdue it
(God did not mean to say "Be a fruit," Eminence.  Just thought we'd clear that up for you.)

Anyhow.

Using reason un-clouded by sexual sin (see Thomas Aquinas), we can deduce this:  Marriage is between a male and a female ("clings to his wife", not "clings to his boy-toy"), is ordered to 'multiplication' of the species, and use of sexual faculties outside marriage is gravely sinful (see Commandments #6 and #8, or Matt. 19:9 for the updated version, or Matt. 5:28 for the REALLY scary update.)

Note, please, Eminence, just exactly Who was being "rigid."  (Don't like that?  Become an Episcopalian, or a Jesuit.  Same difference).

Meantime, there's the 'mystery,' explained by the Author and His Son.

Next question?

Bloomberg Loves Him Some Dictators

A reminder:  Mike Bloomberg positions himself as a 'moderate' Democrat, and Mike Bloomberg publishes a "newspaper".  His logic here is comical, worth a laugh if it weren't about a mass-killer.

That's prelude to this:

Billionaire Michael Bloomberg recently claimed in an interview with PBS’s Firing Line host Margaret Hoover that Chinese Communist Party chairman Xi Jinping is “not a dictator” and argued the country’s so-called environmental policies demonstrate the communist leader answers to a “constituency.”...
Oh.  Well, then, all those dead bodies and prisoners, well, that's just fine.  Because.

As to non-answers:

....MARGARET HOOVER: The United States currently accounts for 15 percent of global greenhouse gas emissions. China accounts for 30 percent of greenhouse gas emissions. How do we, even if we get to zero, how do you get India, China, and the other countries to be good partners.

MICHAEL BLOOMBERG: China is doing a lot. Yes, they’re still building a bunch of coal-fired power plants

HOOVER: And they’re still burning coal.

BLOOMBERG: Yes they are. But, they are now moving plants away from the cities....When the public says ‘I can’t breathe the air,’ Xi Jinping is not a dictator. He has to satisfy his constituents, or he’s not going to survive.
Credit NPR's Hoover for asking the question.

Mike, you ignorant twit:  he moved the plants because they were killing the slave-labor Xi needs for his empire.

Being a Democrat means being willfully ignorant.

Tokin'Tony's Illegal Love

Here's little Tony, acting stupid again.

...Gov. Tony Evers knocked Republican lawmakers for striking the budget provisions he backed that would have granted driver’s licenses and in-state college tuition to undocumented immigrants.

“At the end of the day, it was all about politics,” Evers said of the decision Thursday. “Republicans put divisiveness and ideology before pragmatic policies that Wisconsinites absolutely support.”...
Nah, Tony, it's all about "rule of law."  Granted, the Democrats don't believe in that any more....

Speaking of the rule of law, Tony, was your father-in-law an illegal, too??

What Would ADL Say??

Noted in passing.

...Attacks and profanations against Christian monasteries, churches and cemeteries perpetrated by extremist groups identified with the slogan "Price Tag" began in February 2012. Since then, extremist militants from groups close to the settler movement have also carried out attacks against mosques frequented by the Palestinian Arabs of Islamic religion.
The crimes committed by "Price tag" express the racial hatred of the ultra-nationalist Jewish right, and they often go unpunished. In May...
There is an Israeli group which has denounced these attacks.

...the Israeli-based Association of Rabbis for Human Rights also launched a campaign to raise awareness among Israeli political forces about the emergency represented by attacks on Christian and Muslim religious targets by extremist gangs...
Not holding my breath for the ADL denunciation.

Bitch Jayapal, Congress-Slime

Just watch the video here.  I'd walk over and slap her damn face.

Is "St. Mitt" Actually Dirty?? Co-Incidence Abounds!!

Apparently "St. Mitt" Romney figured that Trump knew about this, which would explain "St. Mitt's" increasing hostility to Trump.

...According to web archives, top Mitt Romney adviser Joseph Cofer Black, who publicly goes by “Cofer Black,” joined Burisma’s board of directors while Hunter Biden was also serving on the board.

According to The New Yorker, Hunter joined Burisma’s board in April of 2014 and remained on it until he declined to renew his position this past May. Meanwhile, according to Burisma’s website, Black was appointed in February of 2017 and continues to serve on its board. The timelines would indicate that Black and Biden worked together at Burisma, and indeed, web archives from late 2017 show Black and Biden listed simultaneously on the board....
You all remember John Brennan, ex-CIA honcho and perjurer, right?  Well, here' another co-incidence....

...Black joined the CIA in 1974 and eventually climbed the ranks to become director of the National Counterterrorism Center from 1999 to 2002...
...Brennan's 25 years with the CIA included work as a Near East and South Asia analyst, as station chief in Saudi Arabia, and as director of the National Counterterrorism Center..
Gee.  The putrid edge of fetid swamp-water appears to be approaching Romney Manse all the way out there in Utah.

Just co-incidence, right??

All You Need to Know on ImpeachmentGate

Ace's right-hand Sefton sums it up--except for one VERY important name.

...The other thing that is becoming clearer as each day passes is that the real Ukraine scandal goes a lot deeper than Joe Bidet shaking them down for a no-show job for sonny boy Coke-Hunter. All of the players involved are directly tied to Hillary Clinton, Barack Obama, John Brennan and the corrupted American intel and law enforcement community with their original, and still on-going, attempt to take out Trump via the Russian Collusion hoax....
The VERY important name he didn't mention?

VIKTOR PINCHUK

Until you know about Vickie, you don't know the story.

ADL Confirms That It's Unbelievable

The "Anti-Defamation League" has had serious credibility problems for at least 20 years.  Its M.O. was simple:  if they don't like what you say or think, you become "anti-Semitic."  At one time, that was more serious than "raaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaacisssss"  Now it's bullshit.

It was bullshit from the beginning, of course, but making someone into a pariah had its (lucrative) advantages for certain people.

Now putting the cherry on top of its cow-pie confection, we have this:

The “OK” hand gesture is now a hate symbol, according to a new report by the Anti-Defamation League.
Well, then.  OK!

Location, Location, Location

Who's next on Nancy's Wheel of Fortune:  Location Game??

Daily Wire quotes Pelosi:  "We now believe that the conspiracy happened somewhere over here."

RoJo Goes For the Gold!!

Frankly, I never thought Ron Johnson would do this.

...Sen. Ron Johnson is considering an investigation into former Vice President Joe Biden’s role in Ukraine when he was still serving in the White House, The Washington Post reported Wednesday, citing unnamed sources....

Look at the post below, and read the link on Pinchuk.  Ron Johnson's investigators and lawyers will be occupied for 5 years or more--but there's a lot of low-hanging fruit here, and it ain't just the Biden Family Grift, either.

One more thing of note:

...GOP Sen. Richard Burr of North Carolina, meanwhile, told fellow Republicans he would not launch a probe into Biden since it is not in his jurisdiction, WaPo reported, citing two people with knowledge of the conversations. Burr is the chairman of the Senate Intelligence Committee....

Senate Intel is arguably the most corrupt bunch of traitors in D.C. (after the Clinton Gang).  Just ask Sundance.  It's entirely likely that RoJo's investigation will uncover a lot of lizards on that committee's payroll, too.

TEAR IT DOWN, RON!!

Hillary, Pinchuk, Computers, and Corruption: the Ukraine

While we've mentioned this Ukrainian guy Pinchuk before, but Coulter provides more context.  As you'll see, Pinchuk knew exactly which buttons to push AND who had the hand which was feeding him.

Coulter helped on the matter--partially.  She forgot to mention the Clinton Foundation.  We'll get there....

...The Russian collusion story was originally hatched by Hillary Clinton in the summer of 2016 to cover up the utter corruption revealed by the dump of Democratic National Committee emails on Wikileaks. As was her practice whenever a scandal threatened to engulf her, Hillary rushed out and told the press to investigate something else....

Hillary's tale had no traction at that time, so her handmaidens in the MSM ignored it.

...But then Trump won the election, and suddenly the Russia conspiracy seemed totally believable. What else could explain how Americans could put this boob in the White House?

The subsequent three years of breathless Russia coverage was based entirely on the word of one cybersecurity firm, CrowdStrike, that the DNC’s emails had been hacked by Russia.

Recall that the DNC wouldn’t allow the FBI or any other U.S. government official anywhere near its computers. That’s precisely why so many cybersecurity experts doubted that it was the Russians: The FBI was never allowed to perform its own investigation.

CrowdStrike was founded by Ukrainian Dmitri Alperovitch (now an American citizen apparently — because who isn’t?) and funded by the fanatically anti-Russian Ukrainian oligarch Viktor Pinchuk Foundation....
Pinchuk was a major-major donor to the Clinton Foundation, was also the chairman of a steel company in Ukraine, and had an interest in a few banks over there.  Pinchuk also has a Ph.D. in Corruption and Bribery, and was a major donor to a McCain Foundation stooge AND an employer of Hillary-Fixer Schoen.

US aid to Ukraine was siphoned off to support banks owned by Pinchuk (and who know what else....).  Deliberately or not, US taxpayers were shoveling money into the Clinton "Foundation" racketeering scam.

It's no wonder that the Democrats are now screaming "IMPEACH!!! IMPEACH!!!" with their hair on fire.  When all this becomes an official DoJ report..........

Heh.  It will be fun.

"Impeachment" Process Now Formal!

Until last night, the "impeachment inquiry" was a fig-leaf for Nancy to wear.  It was sorta-kinda-not-really-but-maybe an actual process.

Then the Pubbies forced a vote on it.

All 231 of the Democrats voted to make it formal.

Hara-Kiri!!

Indy Jebbies v. Archbishop IS a Big Deal

Y'all have heard that the Archbishop of Indianapolis told the Jesuits that they may not call their high school "Catholic" any longer.  That's because Brebeuf Jesuit Prep, over the objection of the Bishop, will continue to employ a homosexual teacher who is "married" to another homosexual.  (No, neither of them is a Jesuit, bad-thinkers.)

Ed Peters the canon lawyer discusses the case today.  You can read the whole thing here, but this excerpt is noteworthy here in the USA.

...Rome decides that employing, as teachers of children in Catholic schools, persons who choose to live in open contradiction to fundamental Church teaching on marriage (here, in a ‘same-sex marriage’, but it could be a civil marriage following divorce), is consistent with the Church’s understanding of “true education” as the “complete formation of the human person that looks to his or her final end” (1984 CIC 795), that persons choosing so to live are “outstanding in doctrine and integrity of life” (1983 CIC 803 § 3), that they ably assist parents in seeing to “the physical, social, cultural, moral, and religious education of their offspring” (1983 CIC 1136), and that they are suited to assisting parents in “the Christian education of their children according to the doctrine handed on by the Church” (1983 CIC 226 § 2), among other norms, and thus a bishop is wrong to say otherwise....

Another possibility:

...Rome decides that BJPS does not use the name “Catholic” in its name and therefore it has not run afoul of Canon 803 § 3, leaving its claim to Catholic identity technically intact according to Canon 803 § 1. Of course, in that case, one wonders how the hundreds, likely thousands, of other Catholic schools around the world not using the word “Catholic” in their name (however much they might claim the label Catholic in their public relations, fund-raising, etc.), would be subject to Church authority....

If "Rome" (read:  Francis) goes that way, it will be the end of ANY 'faith-based' employment restrictions/covenants/morals clauses for individuals working in Catholic schools, hospitals, parishes, or charitable enterprises in the US.

SCOTUS is not blind.

How much damage can Francis do to the Church?  Lots more than anyone ever thought.

Distracted Cellphone Driving?

When you get right down to right down on the question of cellphone use while driving, it's a matter of "distracted" driving.  (Here, I mean talking on the phone, not texting on the phone.  Big difference.)

OK.  If you're 'distracted,' you shouldn't be driving, right?   You're not focused on the task.  As a result, you're a danger.  A menace.

Well, then, the Safety Goobers in the Legislature should ALSO outlaw "driving with children in the car."

Until that happens, I'll use my cellphone (NOT TEXTING) whenever the Hell I want to.

Finally! Solutions!!

News story:

Trump is an actual fascist, and it’s super important that we fight his hateful ideology and save the world. To do this, we need to restrict free speech, disarm the population and nationalize the economy.

You can find plenty more similarly enlightened news here.

WhistleTwit Filed in the WRONG OFFICE

The whistleblower is an idiot.  Here's the Intel Inspector General's key finding:

...In this case, the conduct that is the subject of the complaint does not relate to an “intelligence activity” under the DNI’s supervision. The complainant alleges that the President made an inappropriate or potentially unlawful request on a routine diplomatic call with a foreign leader. But the President is not a member of the intelligence community, see id. § 3003(4), and his communication with a foreign leader involved no intelligence operation or other activity aimed at collecting or analyzing foreign intelligence....
Looks more and more like another amateur op from the amateur Democrat Party.

Carpetbagger Kaul's Trumpism

Some guy from Maryland is now imitating Donald Trump's lawyers.

...Attorney General Josh Kaul is arm-in-arm with Governor Tony Evers in their desire to restrict government officials from press scrutiny. In a Court filing in the MacIver Institute free press lawsuit, Kaul asserts he and Evers have been bestowed the honor, rights and privilege to determine what constitutes a ‘real’ journalist....

Heh.

The Islamic Blinders of Pp. Francis

The current Pope thinks that many Christians--including those martyred by Moslems, I suppose--"mis-understand" Islam.

Well, there IS an Islamic authority who should understand it, according to this essay.

...Pope Francis and other Catholic apologists for Islam claim that terrorist leaders simply misunderstand Islam. If that’s the case, then the very first person to misunderstand Islam was Muhammad himself, who commanded that the hand of a thief be cut off. The Life of Muhammad—which, after the Koran and the Hadith, is considered the most important source of Islamic truths—is essentially a record of Muhammad’s jihadist exploits. Approximately two-thirds of its 800 pages detail Muhammad’s jihad raids, his beheading of captured prisoners, his slave trading, his endorsement of rape and sex slavery, and his use of torture.....
All very Islamic?  Non-Islamic?  Confusing??  Or portentious??

And then there's that little 'memorandum of understanding' that Francis signed with some Islamic cleric.

....does Grand Imam Al-Tayeb misunderstand Islam? Yes, he did sign the Document on Human Fraternity—but Muhammad signed the Treaty of Hudaibiya with the Meccans, too. That was a great PR stunt, but it wasn’t worth the paper it was written on....
Which ONE was 'a great PR stunt'?  Francis' or Mohammed's?

Or both??

There's More to This Story

The smell here is 'domestic violence,' not 'I needed money for my car.'

Only question remaining is "What KIND of domestic violence"?

Criminal Busted, Activists Aroused

At least two Milwaukee "news" operations covered what is really a routine criminal bust.

They keep taking phone calls from the bi-lingual Community Organizer, and looking like idiots in the process.

The guy in question here is a criminal.  No papers.  Too bad.

Trump's UN Speech Is Why Democrats Impeach

No matter how the Dark Forces dress it up, their reasons to get Donald Trump out of the way are all embedded in his UN speech of yesterday.

Trump asks leaders to lift up their nations, cherish their culture, honor their history, treasure their citizens, and honor the dignity of their people.
The diametric opposites of (D) Party principles and practices.

Trump says 80% of the world live where religious freedom is threatened and America will never tire in defending it.
And the Democrats will never tire of attacking it in the USA,.

He says there is no circumstance under which the United States will allow international actors to trample on the rights of its citizens, including the right to self-defense. He says the UN Arms Treaty will threaten the liberty of its citizens and that’s why he’ll never ratify it.
O'Rourke spilled the beans, and it's not "self-defense" the Democrats want to eliminate; it's the ability to take up arms and overthrow tyrants--like Democrats, e.g.

Trump says a small number of social media companies censor and the permanent political class is openly defiant of the will of the people and the “faceless bureaucracy” operates in secret and undermine democracy.
He's a threat to the allies of the Democrat political class, which is not to be confused with many Democrat voters.

He calls the specter of socialism a wrecker of nations and destroyer of societies. He says socialism is not about justice and is about power. He says America will never be a Socialist country.
Clear-eyed descriptions of the Democrat platform must be silenced.

...He says radical activists and non-government organizations promote human trafficking to erase national borders. He says the policies of open-borders activists (who claim to be promoting “social justice”) “are not just” and “cruel and evil.” He says they are undermining human rights and human dignity. He says every nation has the right to protect its borders....
Democrats--like 'open borders activists' and 'social justice activists'--are financed by exactly the same dark-money sources.  Trump and  US citizens cannot be allowed to prevail in this fight.

Trump now discusses Hong Kong and says “how China chooses to handle the situation will say a great deal about its role in the world in the future.”
Communist China is the Number One threat to the US and is also a major financier of Democrat politicians and Globaloney Corporatocracy.  As far as the Democrats and the US Chamber of Commerce is concerned, Trump must be eliminated.

Trump says when China joined the WTO, the so-called experts said it would “compel China to liberalize its economy.” He says “this theory has been tested and been proven completely wrong” because China has embraced an economic model dependent on market barriers, subsidies, product dumping, theft of intellectual property, forced technology transfers.
See above.  Reason # 15 Trump delenda sit

Trump: “The future does not belong to globalists. The future belongs to patriots.”

At that point, the Democrats ripped their garments and cried out "What further need of testimony?  He has blasphemed!!"   Pp. Francis joined their chorus.

And the Number One Reason to Schmeiss Trump, no matter how:

"We do not support references to ambiguous terms and expressions such as 'sexual and reproductive health and rights' in U.N. documents, because they can undermine the critical role of the family and promote practices like abortion in circumstances that do not enjoy international consensus and which can be misinterpreted by U.N. agencies," Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar said during a meeting of the United Nations General Assembly, reports NPR.
"There is no international right to an abortion, and these terms should not be used to promote pro-abortion policies and measures," Azar also said. "Further, we only support sex education that appreciates the protective role of the family in this education."

Abortion is their god-Moloch's sacrament and babies' blood fills their chalices.  To them, it is nourishment.  How long will it take for you to understand Dracula movies, friends?

Trump bears the silver cross.  He must be eliminated.

Lindsey, the Swamp-Creature

Mark Levin (Old Yeller) attempts to motivate Lindsey Graham.

...Our good friend Lindsey Graham, are you not Chairman to the Senate Judiciary Committee? Then why the hell aren’t you issuing subpoenas like Elijah Cummings? Why the hell aren’t you issuing subpoenas like Jerry Nadler and all the rest of them? Why aren’t you getting to the bottom of this?...

Mark, my man.....Graham is NOT your friend, and he is NOT Trump's friend.  He is the friend of TraitorJohn McCain, always will be, and that's that.

There is not one America First Senator in DC.  Hasn't been since JFK left the Senate, and he was pretty shaky.

Interesting Lawyers for "Whistleblower"

The story gets more Swampy every few hours.

The anonymous U.S. intelligence official accusing President Trump of improperly pressuring Ukraine to investigate Joe Biden is represented by two lawyers who run a group that offers financial help to fired whistleblowers. Whistleblower Aid was launched in September 2017 — eight months after Trump's inauguration — with an advertising blitz...The group’s pledge of support, in addition to free legal representation including rent and mortgage assistance, media coaching, and doctor’s bills and counseling, is controversial among lawyers. Critics say it violates attorney ethics....--Wash Examiner quoted at AOSHQ
I highlighted the red text so you could get a laugh out of this.

Sykes' Hero Probably a Bum--Or Worse

When Charlie Sykes was actually a good guy--many years ago--he spent some time now and then idolizing Churchill.

Maybe not the best example of "hero."  Herewith a VERY minor excerpt from a 20K-word piece by Ron Unz:

...My impression is that individuals of low personal character are those most likely to sell out the interests of their own country in exchange for large sums of foreign money, and as such usually constitute the natural targets of nefarious plotters and foreign spies. Churchill certainly seems to fall into this category, with rumors of massive personal corruption swirling around him from early in his political career. Later, he supplemented his income by engaging in widespread art-forgery, a fact that Roosevelt later discovered and probably used as a point of personal leverage against him. Also quite serious was Churchill’s constant state of drunkenness, with his inebriation being so widespread as to constitute clinical alcoholism. Indeed, Irving notes that in his private conversations FDR routinely referred to Churchill as “a drunken bum.”

During the late 1930s, Churchill and his clique of similarly bought-and-paid-for political allies had endlessly attacked and denounced Chamberlain’s government for its peace policy, and he regularly made the wildest sort of unsubstantiated accusations, claiming the Germans were undertaking a huge military build-up aimed against Britain...

We know that Roosevelt forced the Japanese to attack Pearl; and it is apparent from the rest of Unz' essay that Churchill and his British allies may well have forced Germany into WWII.

But that's an unpopular diagnosis; witness the fact that half-a-dozen VERY prominent historians and geo-political commentators of the pre-WWII era, all holding and/or proving the same theory, have been "disappeared" from today's history books and reviews.

Curious, no?

As it turns out, Churchill was the living proof of the (ancient) Catholic teaching on the causes of war, too.

...Hitler had always wanted friendly relations with Britain and certainly had sought to avoid the war that had been forced upon him. With France now defeated and British forces driven from the Continent, he therefore offered very magnanimous peace terms and a new German alliance to Britain. The British government had been pressured into entering the war for no logical reason and against its own national interests, so Chamberlain and half the Cabinet naturally supported commencing peace negotiations, and the German proposal probably would have received overwhelming approval both from the British public and political elites if they had ever been informed of its terms.

But despite some occasional wavering, Churchill remained absolutely adamant that the war must continue, and Irving plausibly argues that his motive was an intensely personal one. Across his long career, Churchill had had a remarkable record of repeated failure, and for him to have finally achieved his lifelong ambition of becoming prime minister only to lose a major war just weeks after reaching Number 10 Downing Street would have ensured that his permanent place in history was an extremely humiliating one. On the other hand, if he managed to continue the war, perhaps the situation might somehow later improve, especially if the Americans could be persuaded to eventually enter the conflict on the British side....
Huh.

Threatening Ukraine!!

Yah, well, it was the Democrat from Connecticut, Murphy.

A few weeks ago.

Told Ukraine President that it would be ............unfortunate..........if Ukraine were to look into the Biden corruption.

Here's a fun speculation:  maybe that "whistleblower" heard Trump discuss THAT THREAT from Murphy with the Ukrainian President?

We'll find out tomorrow, when the transcript becomes public.

Side note:  that will be AFTER Nancy closes up her "impeach him!!!" meeting today....

Heh.

Trump Mentions Ancient Catholic Theory of War

During his speech at the UN, Trump observed that 'Iranian leaders are pushing war because of their own ambitions.  They have grown apart from the people of that State'--a charge he also leveled at the majority of US politicians and Cloud People on his way to election. (See minute 14:00 forward....)

So happens that early Catholic teaching about war fits neatly into Trump's analysis.

...As Augustine and Aquinas argued most explicitly, humanity’s fallen nature thus gives rise to two kinds of war: unjust wars motivated by pride, vanity,...and just wars fought in self-defense against unjust aggression or to otherwise punish evildoers....
That is not co-incidence.  It's easy to see that Trump has studied the matter, and in fact, knows more about "war" than do most modern-day Catholic "scholars" on the topic, who assign 'structures of sin' as the cause, rather than 'personal sin.'

Theory on Greta's Father

I think Greta's father is a Jillette dad.  He's Greta's female role-model.

Catholic Charities Advocacy??

The stench of Washington DC is surpassed only by the stench of the Washington DC Archdiocese.

Hunter Biden is on the advisory board of Catholic Charities for the archdiocese of Washington.
Coke-snorter-adulterer-grafter-grifter advocate on that Board?  Someone has to speak up for them, ya'know.

The Artful Lies of Barrett, the Stupids of Press

Frankly, I don't have a dog in this fight.  Barrett is a hack moron, and Morales is a good cop--but both are in the Big City which we avoid as much as possible.

Anyhow.  A very well-connected (but narcissist twit) RadioMouth at WISN 1130 heard--reliably--that Barrett wants Morales OUT of the Chief-Chair.

Ever since then, it's been a game of "Dumb Press/Lying Mayor/Crab-Walking Chief."

Not only "dumb" Press.  Remarkably Thick-headed Near-Moron PressTake Channel 4, for example.

Milwaukee Mayor Tom Barrett doubled down and said he wants Chief Alfonso Morales to stay after his contract comes up in January. This is the second time in two weeks he has publicly said he wants Morales to stay.
"To stay"...........as WHAT?  Chief?  Patrolman?  Clerk-typist?

Moving on....the Chief knows that he's done.

"As the current Chief of the Milwaukee Police Department, I am focused on the safety and security of the members of this agency, the citizens we swore to protect and preparing for a successful 2020 Democratic National Convention."
"Current", eh?  Doh.

Back to  the Box-of-Rocks Mayor....

...there is still a question on when Morales will get a new contract. The mayor said that is up to the Milwaukee Fire and Police Commission....
Technically true.  Who appointed those commissioners??  Hmmmmm????

"I have made it clear and I will continue to make it clear I support him as chief," Barrett said.
Nothing like using the present tense.  Yah, well, that "English Grammar 101" stuff--they don't teach that in J-School, and the DumbSock reporters apparently didn't get that in high-school or grade-school, either.  Prolly Evers' Publick Screwels...

What's This Guy Doing HERE?

Somewhat belated, as the news story ran in August.

...Yosvany Padilla-Conde was ordered to serve 66 months (5 1/2 years) in prison and 10 years’ supervised release. Prosecutors asked for a 235-month (19 1/2-year) term of imprisonment, to be followed by a life term of supervised release.

Federal prosecutors said Padilla-Conde, a Cuban national, agreed to assist Jason Ludke in an attempt to join ISIS by traveling from Wisconsin through Mexico to Syria and Iraq in order to work under ISIS’ direction and control....
"Cuban national" usually means "native of Cuba".

Without further information, are we supposed to believe that this loser is a US citizen?  A legal resident?  What?

AOC Is Seeing Things

AOC, who may be the first Hispanic-American One-Term Congress-Twit, is seeing things.

“I’m in Colorado [with Democrat Rep. Joe Neguse] visiting communities whose air is being poisoned by fracking. What we’re seeing is appalling. Companies are building fracking sites on public lands, across the street from schools + homes. Their toxic emissions are invisible. This camera sees them,” the freshman congresswoman wrote.

Included in her tweet was a video of the fracking facility, along with an infrared camera that, she suggested, caught toxins emanating from the site.

...oil and gas experts who spoke to the Daily Caller News Foundation confirmed that the images caught on Ocasio-Cortez’s infrared camera were just heat signatures, not toxic emissions. In fact, they also noted that no fracking is even taking place at this particular site....

The President of Boston University--were he honorable--should be thinking seriously about hara-kiri, as his institution granted this rockhead a degree.

Chicago's New Plan to Pay Pensions

Listening to WLS' broadcast of Chris Plante.  He's describing the rape-and-plunder of the City of Chicago, Cook County, and Illinois.  (Note to self:  do NOT stay at a Chicago hotel.  Do NOT rent anything in Chicago.  AVOID Chicago sales tax if possible.)

Seems to me that Chicago could raise even more money by simply kidnapping the children of tourists and demanding, say, $10K/kid.

Don't be surprised.......

"Control Access to Guns," She Said

Been around long enough to remember this event.

State Sen. Shilling's parents were killed during an armed robbery in Chicago.

...Richard and Lynn worked their last day at the Brown's Chicken & Pasta restaurant they owned in suburban Chicago. A day later, Shilling received the news she still can't speak about without tears. Two men — one a former employee — arrived at the fast-food restaurant near closing time with a gun and a knife. Her parents and five of their employees were killed and left in the store's coolers....
The Senator still deserves our sympathy; her parents deserve our prayers.

But as you might expect, this is re-told as part of a campaign to do something about "guns."  Let's move on a bit in the story.

..."We learned in court how those two suspects got the gun that killed my parents and five of our employees — they bought it for 50 bucks with a box of ammunition from a friend," Shilling said. "The friend's mom had the gun in a shoebox in her closet. ... This teenage son goes into the closet, knows the gun is there, takes down the shoebox, sells it to his friend for 50 bucks and seven people's lives are gone....
I'm willing to bet that the very same narrative--or a slight variation thereof--could be used to describe how thousands of criminals obtained their weapons.

Why does her statement matter??

Because Shilling wants to 'control access' to guns.

"We're also talking about access to guns," Shilling said.
Just exactly how would the Senator "control" that kid who sold his mom's handgun?  How would she "control" a burglar who broke into her own home and swiped her husband's duck-hunting shotgun?

Wisconsin's Chapter 51 provides "control" for mental-health problems.  And ugly as this sounds, the Second Amendment provides "control" over thieves, robbers, and wannabee killers through the mechanism of "self-defense."

Statist Lie From the "Newspaper"

Bang-bang.  First paragraph, the Big Lie of Statism:

The leading Republican in the state Senate wants to use new revenue that could be used for a rainy day to cut taxes next spring — potential spending ...
You'd think someone working for a newspaper would know the difference between "shrinking revenue" and "spending."  Poor little Molly Beck could ask any one of several dozen ex-JS employees about that.

Statists begin by assuming that all money belongs to the State, so if the State screws you out of less of your earnings reduces taxes, the State is "spending."

No wonder they're down to begging for $1.00/month "special" rate subscribers.

As to the actual story, yah, we get it:  Fitzie is running for Congress, wants to spread happy-juice around to grease the skids, yadayada.  Maybe it's a good idea, maybe not.

Whose 'Nest'? Not Yours!!

Whoops!!

Just as Ticker predicted, the "Nest" home surveillance/controls systems are problems.

A Milwaukee couple said their smart home was hacked. Their camera began talking to them, and their thermostat reached upwards of 90 degrees.

The Westmoreland family installed a Nest camera, doorbell, and thermostat in their home in 2018. They had no problems until they heard a voice talking through a camera in their kitchen....
Seems that if someone hacks into your WiFi, the Nest system is easy-peasy.

Those doorbell cameras--if hacked--are also roadmaps for burglars interested in the home across the street from yours.  I'm sure your neighbors will be very grateful to you for installing this system!!

Racism!!!

Been There. Done That.

Also a HT to PowerLine!!

Tokin'Tony & Co's Smart-ness

HT PowerLine:

Put This on Milwaukee's New Logo

Tommy Barrett finally has an achievement!!  He runs "Harvard"!!!

Milwaukee is considered the Harvard of pimp school,” Dana World-Patterson said.  World-Patterson is the vice chair of the Milwaukee Commission of Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault. She said in 2016 about 7,000 people were reported as trafficked in the state of Wisconsin alone....
Here's a question:  which Mayor is least Mayor:  Barrett or DeBlasio?

HT:  Owen

Don't Like "Integralism"?

The simple definition of "integralism" is that laws should reflect a moral order.

Lots of otherwise-sane people decry "integralism."

Apparently this short list is just dandy for them.

...In 1962, the Court declared that voluntary, nondenominational prayer in public schools was unconstitutional (Engel v. Vitale).

In 1963, the Court declared that school-sponsored Bible reading was unconstitutional (Abington School District v. Schempp).

In 1973, the Court declared that state laws banning abortion were unconstitutional (Roe v. Wade).
In 1980, the Court declared that posting the Ten Commandments on the wall of public school classrooms was unconstitutional (Stone v. Graham).

In 2003, the Court declared that state laws criminalizing sodomy were unconstitutional (Lawrence v. Texas).

In 2015, the Court declared that state laws defining marriage as the union of one man and one woman were unconstitutional (Obergefell v. Hodges)....
I'm sure they'll present a remedy for this--and for the coming battles in the War Against Nature--shortly.

Fr. Johnson (& Acton) Avoid the Issue

Earlier today we pointed out that a certain political candidate and a certain teevee host both carefully avoided a rather important question.

Well, it happens in other venues, too.  A priest affiliated with Acton managed to avoid addressing the important issue raised by Ahmari.  No surprise:  Acton is the "religious" wing of the Libertarian Party.

It's easy to set up straw men, as did this priest.  It's not so easy to get around St JPII's axiom that "Liberty is the freedom to do what is right."  So he avoided that little problem.

Especially since that definition of liberty has been around for a very, very, long time, per Deneen.

I'm not going to canonize Ahmari.  But identifying his arguments with that of Sanders takes a very stretchy imagination, indeed.

Reagan No Longer "The Talisman"

It's always useful to read (or listen to) Deneen.

In a delightful mid-length interview with Lifesite's Van Maren, Deneen observed--among other things--that Reagan is no longer "the talisman" unifying the classical liberals (secular "conservatives") and libertarian/materialists,  with the social conservatives.

The fusion between those groups was possible because of mutual opposition to Russian communism; but as Reagan's  radical individualism praxis logically led to such things as "gender fluidity" and "queer marriage," that fusion is rapidly coming apart.  The 'integralists' --actually, 'social conservatives' are restless.

See, e.g., Ahmari v. French.

In some ways, the Bannon/Trump campaign understands this.  Despite Trump's highly visible moral ...ahhh......challenges, and his acceptance of nearly the entire homosexual agenda, Trump is still THE most pro-life President since 1900 or so.  That's quite an achievement.  That leads to this:  Deneen reminds us that "liberty" is NOT--in any classical sense--the freedom from restraint to obtain what one wants.  In fact, "liberty" exists when one disciplines oneself to do what is right (as JPII repeated.)  "What is right" obviously means "what is moral."

"What is right.....moral" is THE concern as Progressives recognize that human nature itself is a limit on "freedom" (actually, license.)  Thus we see the movement of Big Tech and its allies to fundamentally change human nature itself.

Hello, Frankenstein!!

In the end, what will be the 'new' way of political life?  Is it Dreherism?

Hmmm?

Picture's 1,000 Words

MacIver ran an editorial by Sen. Dale Kooyenga.

Forget about Kooyenga's thoughts (not really!!  Read it!!)

Concentrate on the 1,000 words the picture represents:  a largely lily-white crowd disapproving State money spent on a nearly-100% black-student school.

Earlier today we talked about Establishment racism.  We could have just run the picture, no?

Hey, Tony!! Where Are the AR's??

Gee.

Six shootings in Milwaukee on 9/20-9/21, and not a single AR was used.

Tokin'Tony ought to drive down to Milwaukee and start confiscating guns there.  After all, he's the Governor, and people will simply comply, right??

All in favor?

Comey Has 'Get Out of Jail Free' Card

James Comey, probably the most vile infected pustule ever in the FBI, will not be indicted nor prosecuted for his seditious activities.

At least that's Trey Gowdy's opinion.

But there's an interesting bit of data here:

“Comey’s been dinged in two IG reports. He was found to violate his employment agreement. He leaked classified information to his attorney,”
I think it would be fun for the AG to block Comey's retirement benefits.  Let the miserable bastard sue; after all, he has a lot of money from his days at Lockheed.  For that matter, indict the SOB and force him to spend a few hundred grand defending himselfThe discovery alone would be worth it.

Remember:  "At some point, you've made enough money."  (Morally or not.)  Comey chose "not."

Democrats v. Democrats

Anybody remember Wickard v. Filburn?

It sure escaped the memory of a lot of Democrat attorneys-general yesterday (including Wisconsin's carpetbagger AG, the post-dumb Josh Kaul.)

If Farmer Filburn was engaged in "interstate commerce" by feeding his cattle wheat grown on his own farm, Ford Motor Company is probably (just a guess here) engaging in "interstate commerce" by selling cars in all 50 states.

Which Democrat Statist crucified Farmer Filburn?  FDR.

Which Democrat Statists didn't read ConLaw 101?

The Statist AG's at California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Illinois, Maine, Massachusetts, Maryland, Michigan, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, Vermont, Virginia, Washington, Wisconsin and the District of Columbia.

I wonder how long it will take CJ Roberts to figure out how the Hell to defeat Trump here.

Gabbard Makes a Point. So What?

There's a video at this link where you'll find the usual word-dance from Gabbard and Cavuto.

To Cavuto, it's "Iran bad, Saudi Arabia good."

To Gabbard, it's "Saudi Arabia finances Al-Quaeda."

Iran is not "good."  Neither is Saudi Arabia.

The difference is simple:  Saudi Arabia pumps a lot of oil and buys a helluvalotta US weapons.  Cavuto is a puppet of the US Chamber of Commerce.  Doh!  KSA buys a lot of influence.  Ask Bush what happened to all those Saudi princelings the day after 9/11 sometime.

Both are Mohammedan extremists, too.  That means something if you remember the meaning of "Gates of Vienna."

Anyhow.  Gabbard prefers to ignore history.  The US has teamed up with a known mass-murderer to defeat another mass-murderer.  We chose Stalin, remember?  He butchered or starved about 10 million Russkies before FDR decided to help him defeat Germany.  Sometimes geo-politics are even uglier than wars.

She made her point.  Others are looking at a far bigger picture.

Whistle-Blowing a Smokescreen

That there whistle blows a lot of smoke, ain'a?

Here's the story that the Press, a soon-to-be-indicted leaker, and the Democrats (BIRM) don't want out in the open:

...U.S. banking records show Hunter Biden’s American-based firm, Rosemont Seneca Partners LLC, received regular transfers into one of its accounts — usually more than $166,000 a month — from Burisma from spring 2014 through fall 2015, during a period when Vice President Biden was the main U.S. official dealing with Ukraine and its tense relations with Russia.

The general prosecutor’s official file for the Burisma probe — shared with me by senior Ukrainian officials — shows prosecutors identified Hunter Biden, business partner Devon Archer[*] and their firm, Rosemont Seneca, as potential recipients of money.

Shokin told me in written answers to questions that, before he was fired as general prosecutor, he had made “specific plans” for the investigation that “included interrogations and other crime-investigation procedures into all members of the executive board, including Hunter Biden.”...
*Devon Archer is John F'n Kerry's nephew, don'cha know....

Biden's favored method of taking bribes was for a foreign government to pay off Biden's son.

Ask the ChiComs about it.  Go ahead, ask!!

The Elite's Ultimate Racism: Population Control

Breitbart tells us that Bernie and some guy named Tim Ryan, both running for the (D) nomination, favor "population control."  And both favor controlling the population in "poor countries."

Huh.  That matches the Rockefeller Republican bunch, who are into the same game.

"Poor countries."  Gee.  S'pose that means countries with brown, black, and yellow people?

Nothing new under the sun here:  the Elites are racists, and Planned Parenthood is their enforcer.

"Get on the Pill, or the children will die."

Girly-Girl in Evers' Office

Smelling salts ready??

Leah Vukmir, a former state senator who lost her bid for U.S. Senate last year, tweeted a photo of herself at a shooting range aiming a rifle and wearing a National Rifle Association hat.

"Come and take it, @GovEvers," she tweeted

Vukmir was holding a .30-30.

That was too much for the girly-girls in Evers' office.

Britt Cudaback on Friday called Vukmir's tweet dangerous.

"Words have meaning, and former politicians should know better than to invoke this kind of dangerous and inflammatory rhetoric," Cudaback said in a statement.

The words "shall not be infringed" have meaning, sweetie pie.

Go make some coffee.

What's "Integralism"?--and More

Having heard and read about "integralism" for the last several weeks, I'm pleased to have found a definition in this essay.

...laws and society should reflect a moral order...
"Integralism" is all the rage lately, and perhaps the most-discussed event having to do with it was the Ahmari-French 'debate' held at Catholic University a couple of weeks ago.  (Rumor has it that there will be another one at Notre Dame soon.  Stay tuned.)  The whole thing was kicked off by an essay in First Things last March.  Google just the title of that essay and you get 20 or so hits pro and con.

Anyhow.

...The question raised by Ahmari and the co-authors of a document entitled “Against the Dead Consensus” in First Things in March 2019 is whether or not those of us preoccupied with tradition and the things tried and true are best served by this level playing field in the face of secular integralists who desire nothing more than to destroy faith in public life utterly. Should we not combat this with an integralism of our own, one informed by principles that endure?

Enter David French, who was the particular target of Ahmari’s ire as the former defended “drag queen story hour” in American libraries on the basis that these protections for error — even under the worst conditions of secular integralism — also extend protections to Christians as well. For those familiar with the classic film A Man For All Seasons one can see Sir Thomas More rise against his soon-to-be son-in-law asking William Roper when the devil turned ‘round on him where would he hide, the laws of England being all flat?...
Good question.  You can hear the screech already:  ".....imposing your morality...." along with the rush to a Federal court to impose THEIR morality, leaving hundreds of thousands of dead babies, AIDS victims, and who-knows-what chaos in what used to be called 'ladies' rooms.'

Hmmm.

One could point out that "Our Morality" also happens to be the "morality" of several thousand years' worth of human existence and--by the way--continues to be so in most of the world--or that "Our Morality" actually secures human flourishing and happiness to the greatest degree vis-a-vis 'other' moralities; but arguing for self-control in the most materialistic society in history just ain't going to prevail.

On the other hand, is it right and just that we Christians should be lambs led to slaughter and (even more important) put our children into the same position?

...One doubts that any French supporters changed their minds, but among the students in the crowd there was a certain sense that Ahmari had demonstrated two sailient points: (1) that at some point in time, we need to stand for something and reimpose moral values on the public square, and that (2) this isn’t going to be discussed calmly in a classroom, but rather fought for with a resolve that matches the vehemence on the left....
In reality, the only thing which allows the amoral civilization-wreckers to gain any ground is precisely the remains of Christian integralism which result in an orderly society.  Allowing that Christian moral order to disappear will come with a serious price.  Remember what St. John Paul II said about liberty:  it is the freedom to do what is rightSounds like morals to me.

The law of self-defense allows us to forego it and become victims.  That is a licit choice.  But the law of self-defense does NOT allow us to sacrifice others.  You can choose to become a victim of a beating or murder even if you're armed.  But you can NOT choose to allow another (your wife, child, or a stranger) to become a victim, assuming you are capable of preventing it.  That's the lesson of the Good Samaritan, in case you missed it.

So there's a reason for "integralism":  the rest of society.

Does Kohl's Hate Americans?

Interesting little chart here telling us that Kohl's Department Stores has 456 information technology employees who are NOT US citizens.  That means they are not paying Social Security (either side) taxes--and maybe other taxes, too.

Four hundred fifty-six.

Average wage is $80,000 or so.

Did your child go to college to earn a degree in Information Technology?  Did Kohl's turn down their employment application?

Someone should ask Kohl's if they hate US citizens who happen to provide 100% of Kohl's sales volume.

HUD Snowflakes Learn About Sex

Ben Carson, MD., melted some San Francisco snowflakes who "work" for HUD.

...During a HUD meeting, Carson warned about "big, hairy men" posing as women to get into battered women's shelters, according to several sources who spoke to the Washington Post

The remarks made several of the 50 present HUD staffers visibly upset and led one woman to walk out of the meeting...

Leaving a meeting?  Sounds like 'cause for termination' to me.

Tokin'Tony Wants the Guns

It's reported that Tokin'Tony Evers 'will consider' siezure of guns in Wisconsin.

I have a prepared response to Tony.

"Nope.

Your move."

Tokin'Tony's Energy Plan? Freeze in the Dark

Tokin'Tony proclaims that Wisconsin should be renewable-energy powered by 2050.

Have blankets?

...If energy storage costs would have to fall to $5/kWh for wind & solar to be competitive with natural gas peaker power plants ($77.70-89.30/MWh) and $10-20/kWh to be competitive with nuclear power ($77.50/MWh) baseload, how low would it have to get to be competitive with natural gas combined cycle ($41.20-46.30/MWh) baseload?...

...the $20/kWh only applies to “resource-abundant locations such as Texas and Arizona” and, since there is no such thing as a nuclear powered peaker, the $150/kWh cost target is more likely to be achieved through freezing in the dark…
OR, of course, you could pay the $150.00/mwh price for all-renewable (and pray for nothing but sunshine and strong breezes in Wisconsin.)

$150.00/mwh is about double what you're paying today, and that assumes perfect weather.  And 'peaker plants' that can actually run only 5% of the time.

And--what the hell--unicorn fart-powered peaker plants!!

Jesuits and Rapists

We already know that the Jesuits are actively involved in helping migrants from Central America get to the US and declare themselves 'refugees.'

We also know that about 80% of the women and girls making that journey are raped along the way.

Is that a "good choice," Jesuits?

Bolton Still All War-War

Booted Bolton is now on the warpath against Trump.

Surprised?

Speaking at a lunch gathering, Bolton described the Iranian attack on Saudi Arabia's oil facilities as "an act of war."

OK, we'll accept that.  But we have questions:  "War" on WHOM, John?  War on the US?  or War on Saudi Arabia?  If it's Saudi Arabia, maybe they should put on their big boy pants and strike back, no?

Bolton also wants the US to permanently implant 8,600 troops in Afghanistan PLUS all the necessary support personnel and systems.

At least he's consistent.

By the way, attendees included....

...noted lawyer Alan Dershowitz and his wife Carolyn, former attorney general Michael Mukasey, Newsmax CEO Chris Ruddy, First Amendment lawyer Floyd Abrams, former Fox Business Network host John Stossel, former New York Lt. Gov. Betsy McCaughey and New York billionaire John Catsimadis. Billionaire Rebekah Mercer introduced Bolton...
The Mercer family has a stake in Breitbart News.  Also interesting:  they are no longer BFF's with Steve Bannon.

Mike Lee's "Dump on Americans" Bill Coming Up

Sen. Mike Lee (R-UT) has some redeeming qualities.

But his hard-push of legislation allowing hundreds of thousands of foreign "OPT" (trainees) into the country--which can then convert to H1-B's--is shameful.

When this was in the House, 4 Wisconsin Republicans voted against it.  Only Brian Steil (R-Corporatocracy) voted for it (no surprise there.)

Now the question:  will RoJo join Lee?  Or will he vote against it and preserve a few jobs for US citizen STEM grads?

To California: Fix Your OWN Homeless Problem

The Governor of California--a Jesuit product, mind you--asked Trump for Federal money to fix California's homeless problem.

Nope.

..."Federal taxpayers are clearly doing their part to help solve the crisis," wrote Housing and Urban Development Secretary Ben Carson in a Wednesday reply to Newsom, written at the request of President Trump. "California cannot spend its way out of this problem using federal funds."

Carson added that California needs to let police officers refer homeless people to social services workers, and must increase its psychiatric hospital services - which could come via additional federal funding, according to the report. Here's the kicker however; California must end so-called "sanctuary city" policies which he says encourage illegal immigrants to flock to the state in search of government services. ...
IOW, you miserable twit, you want Fed money, you play by Fed rules.

That's TWO slaps to California in one day.

Well played!

Working On Another Win: CFPB

Remember Aunt Lizzie Fauxcahontas' very own Consumer Financial Protection Bureau?  The one that reports to nobody, is financed by the Fed, and makes up all sorts of rules without any input from any elected critters?

Yup.  That one.

Seems that CFPB went off and sued somebody.  The somebody's response was along the lines of "Drop dead.  You are un-constitutional."

Well.  My stars!! as Aunt Lizzie would say, after having got herself..........a beer!

The 9th Circus naturally slapped down the "un-constitutional" argument, whereupon the sued-upon party applied for cert at SCOTUS.

Here's the fun part:  Trump's appointee at CFPB agrees with the cert; CFPB argues that, in fact, it IS un-constitutional!

WINNING!!!
