But Bannon points to the 6,000 lb. elephant in the room: the Pentagon.
Until DOGE, or Hegseth, or Russ Vought (or ALL of them) get their arms around the Pentagon's $900 BILLION budget, all the rest is useful, but high-school baseball. Not even college ball, much less major league.
Watch Liinnnnnnnnndsseeeeeeey!! go nuts if and when someone pokes that bag full of liquid manure.

It's HHS that's the big one. The Pentagon is just third place; it leads in 'discretionary spending,' but HHS spends almost two trillion dollars a year ($144.3BB discretionary, $1.7TT mandatory).
HHS passes audits.
The largest boondoggle spending is Pentagon. We could start with jet fighter airplanes that are camels with features of an elephant. Then we could look at 175 or so bases around the globe--of which perhaps 50 have easily-identifiable justifications. It would be nice if the Pentagon could find what equipment (TO&E) actually exists, or does NOT exist. Shouldn't be that hard; you can spot a deuce-and-a-half pretty easily, no?
HHS sucks. The Pentan is an oozing open sore.
