Lepanto Institute reports:
The CEO of Catholic Relief Services makes $640,000+ a year. CEOs of many Catholic Charities groups around the country range from $290,000 - $510,000....
Lepanto further states that such a payout is 'against Church law.'
Maybe.
But does a "Catholic charity" set an example of "charitable works" with that sort of compensation level?
By the way, the argument that 'D.C. is a high cost-of-living town' is disingenuous. Between Alexander Graham Bell's and Al Gore's Invention(s), the CRS office could be in mid-Nebraska, or mid-North Dakota.
And it might be, soon, if Trump's EO holds.
