How Propaganda Works (Against You)
It's been a long, long, time since the noun "Communist" was a word with far worse connotations than "racist" or "homophobe."
Chalk up another victory for the Communists.

Paul Ryan, Worming Around DACA Like a Pansy
RedState's Streiff exposes the real Paul Ryan on the matter of DACA (which, as we know, is an illegal act by Obozo.)
He observes that Paul Ryan's House has done nothing, nada, zero, zip, about DACA even though Ryan knew that the deadline was coming. So that would be 8 months or so, of ass-sitting.
...The reason for the inaction is pretty banal. If Ryan convinces Trump to leave DACA intact, he gets his caucus through 2018 without having to cast a vote to either grant “amnesty” so some 800,000 illegals or to okay the deportation of some 800,000 people who are pretty much American in outlook. If Trump pulls the plug on DACA, they Ryan has to decide which hurts his caucus more: acting or not acting. Neither of those options are going to sell all that well....
Yup. Big Biz loves cheap labor (and they will be cheap, because they are all young.) Folks who thought that ...ya'know....LAWS should be OBEYED....ya'know....don't like the idea that laws can be ignored at will.
...What Ryan said is utter gibberish. Congress has uncontested power to regulate immigration and naturalization. The President is charged with faithfully executing the laws. DACA is a violation of that charge. Congress is part of the solution, in fact, Congress is the whole solution. FBI's McCabe: Poison??
Here's an interesting story about a (former) FBI agent who got crosswise with notorious (D)-supporter McCabe of the FBI.
And here's the part that is REALLY interesting:

One of her biggest supporters was President Trump's former national security adviser Lt. Gen. Early this year, a highly classified leak revealing Flynn's name and an apparent conversation with the former Russian ambassador prompted his removal from the White House and part of the FBI's investigation into Russia. McCabe played a central role in the Russia investigation.
In June, Chairman of the Senate Judiciary Committee Charles Grassley, sent a letter after to the Justice Department raising questions regarding possible conflicts of interest with McCabe and the FBI’s investigation into Flynn....

When the anti-American, terrorism-supporting, Muslim Brotherhood-affiliated CAIR defends an American general, the alarm bells drown out all other sound. And officers who have witnessed his “leadership” in the unforgiving crucible of combat are now sounding the alarm....

Goldman says he does not agree with Bannon “on every detail,” but commends his “brilliant grasp of grand strategy” and “deep sense of urgency about its implementation.”
“I can state unequivocally that he has a better understanding of America’s vulnerabilities than any senior official I have met in a generation, and some excellent ideas about how to get out of the mess,” he writes of Bannon....

Ryan Holding Hands With the ACLU
It's not often that a Republican is caught holding hands with the ACLU.
Paul Ryan does.
Paul Ryan, like Mitch McConnell, John McCain, Lindsey-Lambkin Graham, and dozens of others, is a Certified Lifer Republican-In-Office. Ryan has not lived outside of D.C. since he was 21 years old although he owns a gated compound in Janesville. Being a Certified Lifer Republican-in-Office means that you have to say and do utterly stupid (or vapid) things to keep your lifestyle. If that means that you give up manhood, oh, well!! If that means you have to jump in the sack with the ACLU, oh, well!!
And yah, Ryan has done both.
(For clarity: I am not a fan of Arpaio, but I don't think he's a racist. Like any other politician, Arpaio liked to have his face in the news, so he did stupid stuff. Doing stupid stuff is NOT the same as being a racist.)

Ryan: Not Only a Pansy. A Failure As Leader, Too.

...What has the GOP Congress been doing the last nine months that it hasn’t enacted into law a single one of the 12 annual appropriations bills? The same bills that would provide upwards of $1.1 trillion to run the Pentagon and the domestic agencies.
The answer is simple. They’ve been deliberately burning up the clock in order to force spending measures through as emergency continuing resolutions (CRs) or 11th hour compromises to keep the government open. This has been going on for years. It is the very reason Washington now stands on the edge of raising the national debt ceiling above $20 trillion.
So we’ve officially entered the kick-the-can season. You can count on Paul Ryan to spin and misdirect in order to obfuscate what’s actually going on. The House Speaker is about to capitulate again to the nation’s fiscal doomsday machine. Expect clever maneuvers designed to hide the truth through yet another election cycle.
That’s exactly what Ryan did back during the 2013 shutdown crisiswhen he negotiated a sell-out deal with ultra-liberal Dem Senator Murray to keep the government open through the 2014 election.
In that case, he agreed with Sen. Murray to bust the sequesters caps by $64 billion over FY2014-2015....
It is true that Ryan (and the pack of losers he leads) will get exactly what THEY want--another term or so, along with fabulous health and pension bennies for themselves and their families--plus a lot of travel and lodging in very nice places.
But that's not what is in the interests of the USA. Ryan does not give a shit about the US interests, however--and that's what underlies his REAL 'leadership failure.'

...What has the GOP Congress been doing the last nine months that it hasn’t enacted into law a single one of the 12 annual appropriations bills? The same bills that would provide upwards of $1.1 trillion to run the Pentagon and the domestic agencies.
The answer is simple. They’ve been deliberately burning up the clock in order to force spending measures through as emergency continuing resolutions (CRs) or 11th hour compromises to keep the government open. This has been going on for years. It is the very reason Washington now stands on the edge of raising the national debt ceiling above $20 trillion.
So we’ve officially entered the kick-the-can season. You can count on Paul Ryan to spin and misdirect in order to obfuscate what’s actually going on. The House Speaker is about to capitulate again to the nation’s fiscal doomsday machine. Expect clever maneuvers designed to hide the truth through yet another election cycle.
That’s exactly what Ryan did back during the 2013 shutdown crisiswhen he negotiated a sell-out deal with ultra-liberal Dem Senator Murray to keep the government open through the 2014 election.
In that case, he agreed with Sen. Murray to bust the sequesters caps by $64 billion over FY2014-2015....
It is true that Ryan (and the pack of losers he leads) will get exactly what THEY want--another term or so, along with fabulous health and pension bennies for themselves and their families--plus a lot of travel and lodging in very nice places.
But that's not what is in the interests of the USA. Ryan does not give a shit about the US interests, however--and that's what underlies his REAL 'leadership failure.'

Reconsidering Putin & the Russkis (and the Muslims)
This is interesting. Ivan Ilyin simply does not believe the US Gummint Line about religion, and in case you forgot that Official Line, look at anything said by GWBush or--more recently--McMaster. While they may be 'good men,' they are ignorant as raccoons about the reality of religious influence in the lives of men--including Muslims.
Anyhow, anyone who influenced Solzhenitsyn and Putin deserves our attention and understanding.

A love for one’s own nation does not inevitably imply hatred for other peoples, as self-assertion is not synonymous with a sure attack, and defense of what is one’s own does not mean expropriation of what is not. This makes nationalism and patriotism manifestations of an elevated spirit, rather than waves of self-conceit, egotism and bloody barbarism, as some of today’s journalists, who do not remember their forefathers and have squandered their national spirit, attempt to explain it.

CNN Calls Trump Voters Racist
"Deplorable" was not enough for CNN.
CNN used the voices of a few professors and activists to assert anyone who voted for President Donald Trump is a white supremacist in a news report Wednesday, and to blame these “ordinary” people for the violence in Charlottesville....
This is the 'news' organization used as a source by all sorts of local 'news' outfits such as FoxSix Milwaukee. (Not a surprise--the organizations agree with CNN.)
