Once again, Last Refuge comes up with stuff that utterly derails The Narrative of the Warlords. It took a FOIA or several plus many years to get this.
A 2001 "restricted" meeting between Bush and Putin:
... Putin raises the idea that Russia could eventually join NATO. He says Russia feels “left out” by NATO enlargement. He points to an older fact most Western publics were never meant to internalize: the Soviet Union applied to join NATO in 1954. He argues the reasons for rejection no longer apply. He suggests, almost clinically, that perhaps Russia could be an ally — “European and multi-ethnic,” comparable in character to the United States....
Remember that Putin also asked the NATO question with Clinton--and was told to GFY.
Compare that to what you've been told to believe by the Military-Industrial Complex and its camp-followers in Congress (yes, those are prostitutes.)
And by the "news" organizations which--by the way--did NOT file FOIA's to obtain these notes.
There MUST be an Enemy, by God, and we'll manufacture one if necessary!

You conveniently forget that Putin invaded Georgia in 2008, which threw the good will out the window between the U.S. and Russia. Our response was largely seen as constrained, given the lack of leverage to stop Russia’s advance entirely, but it successfully focused on preventing the potential overthrow of the Georgian government. Safe to say our reaction was too weak and emboldened Putin to pursue further aggressive actions in the region, such as the annexation of Crimea in 2014.
Remember, Putin remains plugged into the Russian Deep State. He is an oligarch who keeps himself in power at the expense of his own people. And somehow his political enemies mysteriously die or get poisoned.
Here is hoping that Putin croaks in office in 2026.
That would be AFTER Bush the Dumber--following Clinton--told Putin to GFY on that NATO membership request.
Speaking of "invasions," how about that invasion of Sioux and Cherokee lands?? USGovernment acted the same there as later: treaty be damned, we're taking over.
Putin learned from us??
“That would be AFTER Bush the Dumber--following Clinton--told Putin to GFY on that NATO membership request”
Given Putin’s treachery, they were proved right in doing so. Putin is about power.
“Putin learned from us??”
No, he learned it from Russian and European history.
“Speaking of "invasions," how about that invasion of Sioux and Cherokee lands??”
Red herring. Didn’t Andy Jackson imply those savages needed to get out of the way for the sake of white Heritage American progress?
Of course, your boy Trump could make good by giving those lands back. You’d support that, right?
Trump is not Carter
Right. Carter was moral and just.
PUTIN's Treachery? How about that of Clinton, Obama, and Biden? You have no defense in accusing Putin of any "treachery."
Putin learned from history. You might be well off if you did, too. Eastern Ukraine has belonged to Russia since the early 1700's. Stalin screwed it up, of course (like our CIA does every time they get a chance), but the East is Russian.
The perfidy of the CIA--for no known good reason--caused the current war. It was NOT perfidy from Putin.
Drag a red herring past an ignoramus, and you get "Anony the Ignorant."
Go read history: https://www.zerohedge.com/geopolitical/stockman-real-story-behind-russia-ukraine-war-and-what-happens-next
“You have no defense in accusing Putin of any "treachery."”
To the contrary, he invaded several sovereign lands. That’s the Russian KGB in him.
“Eastern Ukraine has belonged to Russia since the early 1700's. Stalin screwed it up, of course (like our CIA does every time they get a chance), but the East is Russian.”
The idea that it has always belonged to Russia is a disputed historical narrative; Ukraine has a distinct identity, language, and periods of autonomy, losing it under imperial rule before independence in 1991.
The Russian Empire had suppressed Ukrainian language and culture (e.g., Valuev Circular, Ems Ukaz) to foster unity, but a distinct Ukrainian identity persisted
Why do you deny the people of Ukraine their sovereignty?
“The perfidy of the CIA--for no known good reason--caused the current war.”
That is Russian propaganda talking, ZeroHedge included.
Ukraine has a distinct identity, language, and periods of autonomy...
You forgot that only Western Ukraine was marginally distinct. Eastern Ukraine not only has Russian language and traditions, but VOTED to get out of the grasp of Zelenskiy. Putin is helping them achieve that goal. He has stated, often, that he has ZERO interest in Western Ukraine.
But you knew that. You'll defend Zelenskiy and the CIA a long as you're able to spread your propaganda.
Pro-Russian separatists in the Donetsk and Luhansk regions held "self-rule" referendums in May 2014. These were organized without electoral registers, in chaotic conditions, and were widely condemned by Ukraine and Western countries as unconstitutional and lacking legitimacy. Russia initially asked for them to be postponed but later respected the results, which claimed overwhelming support for self-rule.
These polls do not represent a legitimate, democratic vote to leave the "grasp of Zelenskyy" (who was elected President in 2019). In contrast, a nationwide referendum in 1991 saw over 90% of Ukrainians across all regions, including the east and Crimea, vote for independence from the Soviet Union.
Putin's goals have shifted during the conflict, but his actions suggest an interest in controlling all or significant portions of eastern and southern Ukraine to erase the modern Ukrainian state, not just limited to the Russian-speaking areas. His initial 2022 goals included the "demilitarisation and denazification" of Ukraine and the toppling of the government in Kyiv.
Your posts are becoming humorous. Is that your purpose? To make us laugh at you??

"Ukraine and Western countries" = CIA and its puppets in Kiev--which is pronounced Kee-Ev, by the way.
These polls do not represent a legitimate, democratic vote to leave the "grasp of Zelenskyy" (who was elected President in 2019).
As opposed to the democratic vote permanently postponed by the tiny little dictator Zelenskiy several months ago?
By the way, electing Zelenskiy was probably as kosher as electing Biden. But we'll leave that aside--after all, Biden had a very great interest in the graft Zelenskiy and his companions brought along!

SO WHAT???
The US never had--and never WILL have--a critical national interest in Ukraine.
But feel free to continue your crusade to kill or maim every Ukrainian for the benefit of Zelenskiy, his cabal, and several US citizens and corporations.
Just do it on your own, pal.
"Ukraine and Western countries" = CIA and its puppets in Kiev--which is pronounced Kee-Ev, by the way.”
You mean the sovereign nation of Ukraine, which sought aid from other countries.
“As opposed to the democratic vote permanently postponed by the tiny little dictator Zelenskiy several months ago?”
Ukraine's presidential election was postponed, not permanently cancelled, because Ukrainian law strictly prohibits holding elections while the country is under martial law. Martial law was instituted following Russia's full-scale invasion.
Interesting that you repeatedly take the side of a former KGB agent turned oligarch who curbs dissent and send vodka soaked young men to the meat grinder.
“By the way, electing Zelenskiy…”
Another red herring.
“SO WHAT???”
Putin’s changes in strategy undercuts your argument. Resorting to a screeching third grade girl’s retort is your defense mechanism.
“The US never had--and never WILL have--a critical national interest in Ukraine.”
To the contrary, the U.S. has an interest here—based on Christian values—to oppose grave human rights abuses, war crimes (such as the forced deportation of children), and supporting democratic values and the rule of law globally.
“But feel free to continue your crusade to kill or maim every Ukrainian for the benefit of Zelenskiy, his cabal, and several US citizens and corporations.”
The Ukrainian people will make that decision in the end whether to capitulate to Putin. But Putin can easily stop the murdering of his fellow whites by leaving Ukraine. He is stubborn like yourself.

Talk about third-grade girls! You speak their language and use their logic very well. Regrets, pal: the USA has ZERO 'obligation' to produce rainbows and unicorns in Europe. We also have ZERO obligation to "support democracy" in almost the entire earth, since most countries are not "democracies." But if you are convinced of the necessity, pack your AR and a few thousand rounds and hie your sorry ass over there. We wish you well.
And what's this about "whites"? Racism is not a good look for a Unicorn-and-Rainbow crusader. Even third-grade girls know that.
“We also have ZERO obligation to "support democracy"”
JD Vance says differently. In a speech in Munich, he presented himself as a champion of democratic principles. Vance argued true democracy requires leaders to listen to the will of their voters and not "run in fear" of their own people, even when public opinion is surprising or challenging to the establishment.
And Trump’s all out effort to remove Maduro’s government through regime change reeks of democracy—Maduro has “stolen” oil to “finance [himself], drug terrorism, human trafficking, murder and kidnapping”
“Racism….”
Doesn’t exist. You taught us that.
You have a hard time defending Zelenskiy, don't you? You also have a hard time with the history of the eastern part of the Ukraine being Russki territory. Calling it "Complicated" is a 6th-grade girly trick. My, you are a sad sack.
But Putin can easily stop the murdering of his fellow whites by leaving Ukraine
Looks like a duck, quacks like a duck.....Tag!! You're It, racist!
Vance's quote was directed to the Little Tinpot Dictators of Western Europe, including Tinpot Grafters like Zelenskiy.
Maduro is another Zelenskiy, but far more murderous--and in case you never learned geography, Venezuela is in OUR hemisphere, unlike a meaningless clod of fertile soil several thousand miles east.
Repeating my invitation: take your AR and go, defend "democracy" which has no elections. Or you can choose to defend Zelenskiy's palace in Miami. Your choice.
“You have a hard time defending Zelenskiy, don't you?”
Not really. He is a patriot who is helping his country stave off an invasion. Putin, on the other hand, is an oligarch who curbs internal dissent. Your kind of man. . .
“You also have a hard time with the history of the eastern part of the Ukraine being Russki territory.”
You mean it is Ukrainian territory.
“Looks like a duck, quacks like a duck.....Tag!! You're It, racist!”
That’s Nick Fuentes. He’s the one who says Vance is against white people. And didn’t you forbid your daughters from burning coal?
“Vance's quote was directed to the Little Tinpot Dictators of Western Europe, including Tinpot Grafters like Zelenskiy.”
Regardless, it shows his and Trump’s commitment to global democracy.
“Maduro is another Zelenskiy, but far more murderous”
Not quite. Anyways, my point still stands. Trump seeks regime change in Venezuela and wants to install a representative democracy there. We get their oil as payment.
Are you finished stammering your feet and yelling at the top of your lungs?
Your "white" remark shows us you are merely a Ukie bot-poster. You meant byeloruss, and I knew that.
The rest of your idiocies are just that. I won't delete them because they are a great example of ignorance.
You’re getting bullied on your own blog. And for good reason, too.
Trump says it’s OK to be white. Act like it.
